The Ugly Reason No One Wanted Kevin Durant

so kevin durant is taking back his trade demand the nets say they'll focus on basketball and winning a championship what actually happened is no one wanted kd that bad so he had no choice this also means kyrie won't get traded so the lakers will focus on trading rus to the pacers but other news just came out that explains why no one wanted kd to see the reason why we have to look at exactly what people were offering because it is shocking the offer that got a ton of buzz is the memphis grizzlies how amazing would it be to have john marant and kevin durant on the same team oh they would fit together on the court with jaw handling the ball and then kd drawing attention spacing the floor but they are two of the most exciting people to watch in basketball and little old memphis took a huge step last year maybe they beat golden state if they have kevin durant but what are they offering the grizzlies get kd the nets get stephen adams dylan brooks brandon clark xavier tillman zaire williams and five draft picks which means they will not include jiren jackson jr or desmond bane their second and third best players obviously that doesn't work for brooklyn because they want a young all-star and this is insane because triple j is injury prone always in foul trouble and desmond bain just broke out we have no idea if he's for real i am blown away that they would include all those picks but not a borderline all-star and that speaks to what's actually wrong with kd but that wasn't the only news we know the hawks trade they have officially offered john collins d'andre hunter jaylen johnson for salary and a 2029 first and before you say one first round pick remember they traded three firsts already for dejante murray so one first is the best that they can do john collins is actually a borderline all-star but they've wanted to get rid of him for years kd trey and deshante might actually have a chance to make the finals now i don't think they would actually win the championship because they need defense but trey would be on another level kd handling the ball drawing attention and hitting shots the phoenix suns are still interested as well that actually surprised me they're offering macau bridges and picks but they're gonna get creative because we know that the nets don't want that so they're trying to get an all-star to brooklyn with a three or four team deal a trade that makes sense to me is the sun's getting kevin durant the jazz getting bridges dario starts j crowder landry shamit and four first-round picks the nets get donovan mitchell and cameron johnson now this works because we know that utah is prioritizing picks in a spot of mitchell deal and this would be better than what they got for gobert but the nets want picks too they're not going to trade kd just for donovan mitchell and cam johnson plus donovan is on that max rookie deal that would force brooklyn to also move ben simmons so phoenix is trying to get a three or four team deal done but so far nothing works the pelicans are also interested brandon ingram is the perfect player to get kevin durant because he is a young all-star and not on that max contract the problem is nola says bi is untouchable what i thought he was the poor man's kevin durant you can have the actual thing kd and zion has such a higher ceiling than zion and bi what are they doing instead their best offer is something like cj mccollum herb jones jared harper and eight first-round picks i don't want to list all of them because it's way too many picks herb is the best young defender in the nba cj would be a great fit with ben simmons because i think kyrie would be dealt if kd goes so they would need a point guard but not including brandon ingram this kd issue i'm gonna reveal couldn't be more obvious now the nets are stuck with kd until the next time he gets upset which should be pretty soon knowing him kyrie and ben simmons but we have to mention that the sixers bucks and nuggets all made calls about kd but we have no idea what they offered up until the last second the celtics raptors and heat were still in the lead the seas did offer jaylen brown derrick white and pix but refused to include marcus smart or robert williams the same pattern over and over no one wanted kd potentially a top 10 player all time why then it's only getting subpar offers from all these teams for kevin durant some people will tell you it's age and injury history but that's not true yeah he's about to be 34 years old but so what his game is perfect for aging well this isn't russell westbrook we're talking about kd is all about skill and shooting he's come back from an achilles better than anyone ever yes he's had other injuries now but katie's been available in back-to-back playoffs when it matters most two years ago he was the only net star that was left after hardin and kyrie went down and he almost beat the bucks by himself the actual reason no one wants him is his unpredictable attitude even with four years left on his deal you have no idea if he's gonna demand a trade in like six months kd stuck it out in oklahoma city just to get paid then once things got tough he left for golden state and despite winning two finals mvps he became a disgruntled mess everyone remembers the shouting match with draymond green but what about when he got mad at the media when they started talking about free agency so who are you why do i gotta talk to you tell me does that is that gonna help me do my job better and has anything changed no he is still that guy will come into your locker room even if you're golden state with that culture in winning and be toxic then he'll demand a trade oh or he'll demand that you get fired so he goes to brooklyn to try to have full control then when they give him the key to the franchise he and kyrie ruin it and they still want out who wants that if any team gives their best young player and picks away you know their future where are they gonna be in two years that's why the raptors will not include scottie barnes no one's future is safe with kd even when he got what he wanted dude demanded a trade i've been a fan of the suns doing this deal because i don't think that mikael bridges deandre ayton are gonna win a championship anyway and kd devin booker and chris paul would be amazing but kd has ruined his career because of the way he's acted since leaving okc he has been injured unpredictable and the last time we saw him he was getting swept by the celtics no one wants a guy who just tried to get his coach and his gm fired that is the definition of dysfunctional i can't imagine a gm being like oh yeah we'll take your superstar who will probably get me fired or want to leave in six months that is the common thread throughout all of these kd trade rumors and all the stupid bs news that is coming out the more teams that are unwilling to include their young star the more it's obvious no one thinks their future is safe with kd no matter how good he is now just because kd has made up with the nets does not mean the drama is over you know things are gonna get toxic again this year because that's who kd is i mean i am excited to see him kyrie and ben simmons on the court but i have zero faith this turns into a chip not because of talent but because of their dysfunctional personalities and there's one other thing that is total bs about the media so espn is obsessed with talking about lebron james but there are five huge things that they flat out refuse to talk about so i had to make a whole video about it check it out
