The Trunk on the GMC Hummer EV

is an electric yep controller from a switch inside nope so it's actually right here there's two buttons right there for the electric retractable tonneau cover the truck has to be unlocked to be able to use it but it is powered and it will roll right up and then [Music] you also have an optional kicker system oh nice so it's a separate bluetooth system right in your tailgate play all your music right off your phone exactly you got pandora doing something pull up back up and you have your music the um i looked around this car you know what i didn't notice is there a spare tire there's no spare tire so that is one of the options uh the spare tire would actually mount into the bed of the truck but then you would lose out on the retractable cover and stuff like that so ty would mount like up on the side yeah it's kind of like one of those uh dune buggy tires that would uh mount in the back of the truck i see you got a hitch on it and plugs here for towing different trailers what's the towing capacity of this vehicle you could do about seven thousand five hundred pounds on a conventional trailer so now towing 7 500 pounds what does that do to your battery and your range life it really depends on the type of driving you do whether you're uphill downhill flat planes it will affect it but these are so new and not tested as much so depending on the weight if you're maxing out that trailer it's of course going to affect your battery but you do have regenerative uh charging in the truck so if you're towing a heavy trailer i'm sure when you pull that recharging button which actually acts as brakes it may actually help it charge you even more because you're pulling some weight thank you and now this is the gas plug right here huh that's it you plug it in right there so we got two plugs in here i know that's for your regular plug and if you want to use one of those high speed chargers you have to pull that rubber gasket right out there and that's the one if you stick your fingers now curl your hair [Music]
