The Trollway of Mt. Horeb

hey y'all carpetbagger here coming to you live from the north more specifically wodsworth Illinois right near the Wisconsin state line and I've been here before I filmed the gold pyramid House is a mysterious giant pyramid that they did previously give tours of it and they sold some sort of miraculous curing water but I had heard recently there have been a fighter that the pyramid had burned down so I wanted to check out and see the current status of the pyramid so let's go take a peek so the gates here you can see the Sphinx right there sarcophagus a giant statue of Ramses as you can see yep the pyramid is still there it used to be gold it looks like they are in the process of repairing it which is good oh he's always good to see that something's not completely destroyed and salvageable you can see that I've got some some siding on there and hopefully the pyramid will be back to its former glory soon according to this sign looks like there be having concerts going on oh this I have a whole music lineup for for the summer oh they have rod steward experience that's not really Rod Stewart the angry squirrels I could see there's the pyramid and there is a evil squirrel peering right there the Terry James van rocking the gold pyramid he's yeah these these posters here that I'll have the Pyramid incorporated very cool if you're playing if you're playing at a pyramid you're going to want to make a big deal about it it's like this bridge is is closing it's not a train there's a river underneath is there gonna be a boat it's gonna open up in a boat it's gonna come by that might be kind of cool oh wow the street itself is opening up that's freaky how big of a boat is coming I wonder make some sort of like ocean liner cruising for the street yeah middle part just I've never saw you know I've never seen this happen before long yeah I was I'm just gonna straight-up did it go through I don't even see it it just passed that's very unsatisfying [Music] I figured while we were driving through Wisconsin we need to take a quick beer into the City of Milwaukee and say hello to a good friend of mine Henry Winkler the Fonz I guess technically this is the Fonz Arthur Fonzarelli Henry Winkler being the actor the Fonz being the character I think anyway Claire is not from Milwaukee but the Happy Days takes place and walk getting as their reason what's with all these boats is downtown Milwaukee yes take a look at that from his painted on blue jeans to his slightly ghoulish grin there it's always good to have a time get a foot off he's pretty short I think every way there's pretty small guy hey that's what he says right okay so apparently this is a software company of epic and this is their intergalactic headquarters I don't know what that is some sort of metal donkey look at that got the Tin Man oh look at that yeah Humpty Dumpty sitting on that wall now I get this weird dog and weird cat it's their friends and even down here by the dumpsters they have this epic I heard dragon and check it out they just have this random giant castle on the campus here it's Rock Tunnel I got some sort of toy soldier guiding the way must be lovely having a campus just littered with Dinosaurs I look at that this place is cool you can see up there there's a good gingerbread house of some sort what's with all these cow bikes what is this place this is a giant farmhouse I know nothing about this software company it's epic software but this campus is just kind of mind-blowing so I got on the car just to poke around a little bit signpost hear population 1032 12 chicken six cows in 998 hired hands deep space Grand Canyon is over 1600 miles away heaven is the elevation of 1,050 feet there's a cow made out of horse shoes where are they couches oh wow giant crazy rooster face it's a barracuda and through that archway right there yeah these hanging fish in the woods are a bit abnormal Oh watch out a sort of alligator says no girls allowed it looks to be some sort of Clubhouse Oh actually someone's changed girls to pagers what only 400 bridge at a time yeah this is like a tree house oh the entrance is this way there's a soapbox derby car looks like they have meetings in here I said yeah this is a campus of a massive software company and it looks like they're built on a giant playground or everything is incredibly whimsical seems like there's a lot to be uncovered here this is acres and acres and acres of whimsy and I don't know if I'm supposed to even be here but from what I see it's pretty cool pretty pretty fun stuff going on here at DIA old epic software campus but there's something else something else I wanted to see today so we're gonna hop back in the car and had a few miles west and we have landed in Mount Horeb Wisconsin which is famous for one thing that is being the troll capital of the world and what they call a troll way this road right here and it is dotted with trolls so let's do some troll hunting and look at this monstrosity right here there's a big grinning lurching troll right here he's being held up by smaller trolls settle Sasquatch face troll right there and the pig-faced roll right there look at this guy and look the trolls even have their own names of birthdays this is waving walton born May 22nd 2009 from a hundred year plus white pine that was struck by lightning it says if you take a picture with wave and Walton we'd love to see it a smile waving Walton in a wave hey if you look up there we got some billy goats which are the sworn nemesis of all trolls this troll is in color see this is some sort of gardening troll tending to these beautiful flowers right here and here outside the chiropractor's office we have this guy right here looks like this troll is a backpacker of some sort she's got a a turkey leg he's taken with him to eat on the road supposed to be some sort of troll home right here marking the troll way are these troll footprints all along the sidewalk oh wow this must be the mayor of Mount Arab is some sort of mayor troll he's got the key to the city some various badges for committing trolli duties leaving a little bunny what are you doing are you I'm sorry it'd mean to scare you maybe he was scared of this this is Brutus the temple lion guard her outside of the city Welcome Center we have this beautiful troll lady this is you've got some pigs down by your feet my Horeb dental that's a beautiful dentist's office and wouldn't you know sit on the porch here we got another troll hey there this troll was playing the accordion and here's a hat on top of his hat redundant I'm not 100% sure if that is a troll or not say in the comments if you think this is a troll this is grandma Foster Park and look at this this little troll character on there it's pretty adorable as far as trolls go believe it or not the town actually provides an app that shows you where all the trolls are located alright we're in full troll hunt mode just was to be a troll somewhere around here oh there we go there we go oh she has no legs and she's a pig necklace pretty cool though here at the Mound City Bank they have this troll sitting on a pile of money you greedy old troll unfortunately some of the trolls are actually indoors so this building here is actually a really cool building has a troll inside oh I can actually kind of see it it's got her back to back to us in that window right there check this out this is my favorite fast food restaurant Culver's and they even got a troll at that that trolls eating some ice cream you've got a bag presumably of cheese curds right there all right supposedly there's a troll inside Miller & Sons supermarket and here we go we have a baker troll you made a little cake I've got a butcher troll at their cleaver and their sausage that is some English blood sausage it looks like and then a little baby troll sucking its thumb like a little troll family countenance museum is closed but outside they do have this really cool troll piano this is I'm a street piano playmates this piano has built 1901 and it's just open to be played that's so cool that's oh that that's right I don't don't have any musical skill after a long day of troll hunting there's only one place to eat that is the grumpy troll brew pub and with a chef like this drunken troll what could go wrong you have a troll ish moonshine still up there they do have some train themed burgers I think they won't have to go for the Eric the read brought being Wisconsin all and I do love bratwurst all right we've got some beer cheese soup that looks pretty good broccoli and a big old forest [Music] so that was mount or AB the troll capital the world the wonderful troll way here we've got tons of wonderful present let's talk about trolls for a minute there have been times where I've used the word troll to describe something other than what we've seen tonight what we seen tonight is beautiful cheerful happy wonderful trolls that have nothing but love and adoration for sometimes I've used the word troll to describe a certain type of person and that is is someone who goes on the internet and just essentially causes grief towards another person I've had a lot of experience with this and I think what's important what lesson I personally learned is you cannot let other people tell you what you're worth what value you have you know someone out there they tell you horrible things negative things and you get so mad but in the end it doesn't matter it doesn't matter what negative people think the only person should be judging you and your work is yourself if you believe in your heart that you are doing the right thing don't listen to the haters oh listen to the trolls trolls being angry being affected by them is is giving them power that they don't really need to have and who knows who knows why I you know you recommend why do people do negative things about it people do hurtful things and I don't think there's really necessarily a good answer you don't know what that person's been through that that makes them want to hurt you or makes them want to do bad things it doesn't matter you know the you can't affect how they feel you can only affect how you feel and it's important that you don't let others have that negative affect on you so appreciate you guys watch it if you like see other places I've been there is an
