[Music] welcome back everybody glad you can join me today for some more painting fun now let's begin lovely now I'm going to dab some more green and paint a little Goblin oh where am I and don't forget to hide his shame now we'll add some mountains some shrubs how about some cheery Little Birds oh this is cool being in a painting yo and now it's time to add the monster wait what let's give her a big powerful body to hunt down and devour her prey a big claws and spines and a nice big pointy tooth whoa hold up there hmm that tooth is looking a little lonely let's say we give it some friends oh yeah I think that's enough teeth Yo and some more and some more feel free to add whatever amount of teeth feels right to you get me out of here and what's this it's a vampire and some ghosts [Music] wow that looks great what a perfect little painting looks like we're all done here see you all next time I'm still stuck in here our eyes Feast upon my newest acquisition of the Arts [Music] oh is that not the wonderful it's difficult to believe that one could find such a treasure in the dumpster that believes it that's garbage yo you do not like the cat painting it's not that we don't like it star it's just an awful painting isn't the art the subjective not in this case the painting a straight doodoo girl well I know what I the like well yous don't know nothing mama whoa relax dog yeah it's not your fault you just haven't been exposed to real art what is this real art well that question has been debated for centuries but the basic criteria to any real art comes down to three Essential Elements one the art must have good composition two the art must raise important questions three the art must evoke an emotion I never knew the art had the criteria girl I think it's time you were exposed to some real art Titans Go to The Jump City Museum of Art this is home to some of the world's greatest masterpieces like Starry Night by Vincent van Gogh this painting can teach you a lot about composition star oh but I don't know much about the composition you add the adorable little earthworms and after a few months you you have the composition thank you that's composting composition is a term used to describe the visual elements inside a painting and if done successfully good composition will grab the viewer and hold on to them notice how Van Gogh uses swirling clouds and shining stars to really pull you in well I the van Gogh must have lived the happy life to have to have a wonderful painting not exactly Van Gogh had a lot of inner demons takes out this game painting it's one of my favorites oh it's called the Mona Lisa painted by Italian Renaissance artist Leonardo da Vinci some say it's the greatest painting of all time but why is the Mona Lisa missing of the eyebrows cause real heart rate is important questions like what's up with that used forehead or that pale green skin well I heard that da Vinci painted her this way as part of some secret code holds up the missing eyebrows the big forehead the green skin I think Mona Lisas was an alien yo I think you're on to something Beastie those mountains look like they're from another planet and she probably landed her spaceship behind that bridge and if you take the words the Mona Lisa and move the letters around they spell am alien holes [Music] DaVinci was trying to warn us about an alien invasion yo but they're already here [Music] guys I can assure you that Mona Lisa was not an alien oh really and what makes you so sure Robin have them dirty aliens gotten to you too no painting over here I want you to see Sunday afternoon by the George sewer rat it's pronounced sirat and doesn't this painting evoke all sorts of emotions when I stare at this painting I get a feeling of sadness closer I look the less I see which is symbolic of my life the more Batman looks at me as a sidekick the less he sees me as a standalone hero ah boy here we go I'm so tired of Batman bossing me around I am not gonna sit by and snap out of it dude sorry that painting evokes a lot of inner turmoil I too am feeling of the turmoil that's great it means you're finally connecting with real art no if the turmoil I feel is that despite being exposed to the real art I still prefer the cat painting [Music] thank you
