This song is fucking classic.
It just makes me think the bassist said "I'm just going to uptempo hit this bassline, and lets see what we can bloom from that?"
And the rest is this song that makes me hurt my neck jammin.
Love this song, its great material for a two-guitar cover band.
It's hard to believe Room on Fire came out 10 years ago!
Such a masterfully recorded song.
Manages to make you feel edgy and uncomfortable (to fit the subject), but still fully engages you. Room On Fire was a majorly underappreciated album.
Guitar Hero 3 introduced me to this song, and I've loved it ever since
This 8-Bit cover is really cool
Great song. I've always really enjoyed this cover.

I think Room on Fire was under-apprechiated and way overlooked when it was released. Even those who didn't care whether things "sounded the same as Is This It" or not kind of got stuck in that whole discussion anyway. Personally, I think it took the coolness of the debut album, and added some edgy producing (I love how the drums occupy the treble in many tracks) and a lot of soul and soot to it. Good stuff.
