[Music] 2017 was the year of murphy's law for the tampa bay buccaneers if you're not familiar with murphy's law it's simply this whatever can go wrong will go wrong the bucks dig themselves a hole and then fall just three points short of actually climbing out of it so yeah just another sunday this was one of the worst games i've ever seen as a bucks fan and that's saying a lot the bucks got demolished by case keenum and the minnesota vikings nick folk before signing with tampa had a career accuracy of 81 but lo and behold in four games he was only 54 accurate on field goals and missed two extra points the bucks lost to a team whose backup quarterback threw for only 84 yards let's move on to what was awesome about this game the bucks are now one and four when they get 500 plus yards of total offense the rest of the nfl entering sunday's games was eleven and three when they had that many yards also feel free to follow me on social media so you can have direct access to my sadness during games [Music] welcome to the play reaction the place where a lot of misery happened i'm corey draper and i've decided to step out of retirement for one time only why well because i'm a masochist and i said i would and let's be honest how can i not make a video on the best buck season in 18 years so yeah it's yesterday's news the draft is over free agents see otas and all that jazz but after all we've been through all we've seen as bucks fans over the last 13 years i think that it's appropriate that we soak in the 2020 season as much as we can i think the best way to do that is to tell the whole story i'm all about context and i think we must remember what it was like to live through such a unique and incredible season so let's relive it shall we buckle up this is the recap of the tampa bay buccaneers 2020 season the story begins way back in december of 2019 when the seven and eight bucks were trying to salvage yet another disappointing season and fighting just have a non-losing record yes i'm starting there hang with me the bucks went into overtime with the atlanta falcons in their final game of the season and won the coin toss and those of us who were fans before 2020 knew exactly what was going to happen in fact like many of you i tweeted it out before it even happened sure enough on the first pass and over time our quarterback who we have stood up for and defended for five years did exactly what he so often did he threw a pick six to lose the game and in the season below 500. the poetry of it all was too perfect this interception sealed a record making him the only player to ever throw for 30 touchdowns and 30 interceptions in the same season and not only that he threw a pick six for his first ever pass as a buccaneer it was only fitting that he bookended an up and down career in tampa with another one the bucks were then thrown into the offseason with that taste in their mouths they were forced to make a decision at qb did they re-sign the man who set passing records for the franchise and still put up with his propensity for literally throwing the game away or do they look through door number two rumors started to swirl about other quarterbacks who might be on the market in the off season guys like drew brees phillip rivers teddy bridgewater cam newton and surprisingly the greatest quarterback of all time impossible there's no way tom brady would leave the team he's won so many championships with for 20 years right brady is new england but more and more rumors started to spread about the fractured relationship between brady and bill belichick then in late february jeff darlington publicly stated on espn that he would be shocked if brady returned to the patriots well at this point i'd be stunned if he returns to new england to be to be very blunt about it years old during the football in the cold going down there playing in the south playing with bruce aryan's pushing the [ __ ] off why do you say zero tampa because bruce aaron's is a chuck and duck i'll tell you right now you're wrong on that there is not a zero percent chance about the bucks raise that right now really yes i just don't see it scheme-wise fitting like i think as a schemer will be like tom take a 12-step drop we don't care we'll figure it out we'll have a cocktail together and it'll all be good yeah okay jeff brady leave new england and join the bucks why would he do that jeff got blasted for it i know i scoffed at it myself but then again bruce arians did come out and say that tom brady was a guy they wanted to talk to when he was interviewed at the combine so maybe sure enough brady hit free agency he was done in new england and all reports were that it was between tampa bay and the la chargers well that's it how can we compete with hollywood this is just too good to be true it's brett favre all over again our hopes are going to be up and he's just going to end up choosing another team at the last minute i was convinced we couldn't have nice things and then the impossible happened jeff this is breaking and coming in as we speak but we are being told that tom brady barring anything unforeseen is expected to be a tampa bay buccaneer we got tom brady we got tom brady breaking news rob gronkowski is a tampa bay buccaneer no really i'm not kidding you rob gronkowski is coming out of retirement and the patriots have agreed to terms on a deal that would send him to tampa to be reunited with tom brady what gronk 2 that's it we have all the pieces we're a complete team no more additions needed leonard fournette on twitter the hashtag go bucks giving everyone a first look at him in his new uniform are you [ __ ] serious needless to say the hype was at an all-time high in tampa i know i myself had multiple dreams over the summer seeing tom throat and red and pewter in our new slash old uniforms no less naturally as a battered and beat down bucks fan most of those dreams were actually nightmares and the bucks still ended up looking like garbage and embarrassed themselves but man the anticipation was real the only thing that could destroy this hope would be a global catastrophe cancelling the season yeah that almost happened 2020 was completely devoid of any type of offseason training and workouts thanks to covet 19. once brady joined the team he organized unofficial practice sessions at a local prep school people naturally criticized the decision at the time but it was literally the only way he'd be able to meet his teammates and practice until just before the season started because of covet precautions we had no otas no mini camps no preseason games workouts didn't even begin until late july and there were zero padded practices until mid-august with a brand new qbe and a brand new location who has to learn a brand new system after running the same offense for 20 years it looked like the odds were going to be stacked against us shooting his first few weeks in tampa brady got caught working out in a closed park and accidentally walked into a stranger's house acclimation takes some time after all that weirdness the regular season was still a full go and on september 13th 2020 the tampa bay era began in new orleans and it began with a bang three tight ends in the ball game brady's gonna keep and take it in for the touchdown tom brady slams it down and he's got a touchdown for the exclamation point at the end of his first drive as quarterback of the tampa bay bucks a touchdown on the very first drive and it wasn't a touchdown for the other team that's it we're going undefeated then reality came crashing down on second and 15. this one's picked back the other way for the touchdown it's janoris jenkins a pick six nightmares really do come true brady threw a pick six to kick off a 24-nothing run by the new orleans saints man the last quarterback could have done that the buck still fought valiantly there were flashes of great things but in the end the shortened offseason probably affected this team more than we initially thought they dropped the first one to the saints at least the last time we won the super bowl we kicked off the season by losing to the saints so there's that i think now is a good time to remind everyone how hilarious the national sports media are i can't tell because not only did he give a big six it was it was first of all it was behind him he does not have that kind of arm strength to stand on one hash and throw it clearly across the field he can't do that on a consistent basis and because the offensive line isn't that good i kept telling you the offensive line isn't that good look this says that without bill belichick there to give him the team success that masks his decline he's obviously in decline belichick won after week one brady zip yeah brady's going to win this week but i think the tempe buccaneers may have a little buyer's remorse if you go back and look at the last 10 games that tom brady has played jameis winston has been a better player and i don't think tom brady can turn it around i'll just let that speak for itself moving on week two brought up a match up versus the carolina panthers this was a game that helped calm the storm and it was essentially a correction from the week before whereas week one was against one of the best teams in the nfc week two was against one of the worst and this game saw both offense and defense flash greatness it was mike evans 2020 coming out party as he had his first 100 yard game after being held to one catch the week before the defense forced four turnovers and five sacks and we also got a little preview of playoff lenny fournette had over 100 yards rushing and two touchdowns including this beautiful game-ceiling run so we could finally breathe the next few weeks were perfect for this imperfect team as they got to play an easier chunk of the schedule the boys did their job against the broncos as they debuted those beautiful all pewter color rush unis and dominated backup qb jeff driscoll let me stop here and point out something to those of you who are new bucks fans the bucks love to lose to backup quarterbacks it seems silly now but those of us long time fans did not think this was a gimme game by any stretch any time we face a backup quarterback i have flashbacks of the jets calling 41 year old vinnie tester verdi off of his couch to come play against the bucks and winning but this team continued to show that this is not your grandma's buccaneers the defense got six sacks and held denver to 10 points and the offense continued to roll against a pretty good denver d moving on to week four where the bucks played another afc west team and the runner-up and the brady sweepstakes the la chargers led by rookie justin herbert let me stop here and point something out to those of you who are new bucks fans the bucks love to lose to rookie quarterbacks and considering how herbert wouldn't have started had the la training staff not tried to murder tyrod taylor by puncturing his lung on a routine procedure he was technically a rookie backup so this is exactly the kind of game the bucks love to lose and well they almost did while the old bucks would make a backup rookie qb look like joe montana this team made a backup rookie qb look like tom brady herbert ended up completing 20 of 25 passes for almost 300 yards throwing to guys off the practice squad like jalen guyton and tyron johnson meanwhile tampa's offense could not get it together early and brady threw another pick six ryan suckup even missed a field goal let me stop here and point out to those of you who are new bucks fans the bucks love to miss field goals anytime it happens we all get a twitch in our eye and roberto aguayo's face lives rent-free in our heads thankfully suck-up ended up having one of the most successful seasons as a kicker in franchise history this was just one of those days the turning point in the game came right before half time when the chargers decided to run the ball instead of kneeling to run up a clock deep in their own territory as many teams would find out this year you do not give the ball to tom brady right before halftime for the first three weeks of the season this is the third and goal brady tosh is touchdown mike evans after that things started clicking scotty miller showed up big and looked like he was the player in sync with brady the most early in the season that probably will be an important piece of information a little later mike evans was dominating right in front of a guy who tried to say in the offseason that he was a better wide receiver and rojo ronald jones had his very first 100 yard game of the season starting a stretch of three straight games hitting that mark in the end the better team pulled ahead and escaped a team who has found their next franchise quarterback oh and by the way touchdown tommy threw five tds hashtag buyer's remorse and now they get to face the bears on thursday night football who had just benched starting quarterback mitchell trubisky uh-oh another backup but it's okay the bucks have now proven they can handle it sure the backup is nick foles the very same backup who beat tom brady in the super bowl but come on that bears team is way worse than that eagles team right unfortunately this was a night game on national television so the bucks are gonna buck a ton happened in this game so i'm gonna spend a little more time on this one hope all your wounds from this are healed bucks fans because they might get reopened a little bit this game started just fine as the bucks jumped out to a 13 nothing lead halfway through the second quarter foals looked terrible and tampa's offense continued to roll but then for one drive nick foles put on his big boy pants and suddenly started completing everything they had a long touchdown drive that ended with just under two minutes left in the half this is where things started to unravel a bit tampa decided to be aggressive with all that time left as they ended up doing all season and kept throwing the ball on third and 10 brady dumps off to rookie keyshawn vaughn and he gets popped so he drops the ball as a result only 17 seconds came off the clock on that drive and now the bears had a minute and a half with two timeouts to go 27 yards they do it easily with a crazy catch by jimmy graham over jamel dean and suddenly the bucks are losing going into halftime new bucks fans want a glimpse of what it was like being a fan before this year watch this game it was the most murphy's law hashtag it's a buck's life kind of game this season it only gets worse the bucks take back the lead on their first drive out of halftime thanks to orion suck up fuel goal which was set up by an outstanding run from ronald jones who by the way went over 100 yards again this game the defense got a stop right after and tampa bay had a chance to give themselves some breathing room and they were on their way to do it too if it wasn't for those meddling refs it started with a holding penalty on a 5-yard run by rojo which made it first and 20. then on the next play brady throws to gronk for a 16-yard gain but mike evans is called for opi making it first and 30. then there are offsetting penalties as brady is sacked then brady throws to jaden mickens on a screen for a gain of 11. but a penalty is called on ryan jensen for unnecessary roughness making it now second and 34. and then mike evans is open deep but he gets turned around and it's incomplete but it doesn't matter anyway because the refs called holding on the offensive line again needless to say the bucks ended up hunting now i'm hardly one to blame a game on the refs i'm a firm believer that good teams overcome bad officiating shoot i even think some of the calls on that drive were pretty legit but it does become a major problem late in this game we'll get back to that in a sec fast forward to later in the game when the bucks are down three brady and rodro drive the team inside the red zone donovan smith who had a terrible game gives up a sack to khalil mack it ends up being third and 17 when brady throws this pass to gronk to make it fourth and one okay this moment was a big point of contention among bucks fans most fans lamented the fact that aryans decided to take the field goal here rather than going for the first down hindsight tells us that yes he probably should have gone for it however i agreed with the call at the time i know i know advanced analytics say you should go for it in this situation chances of winning based on historical data go up if you do i get that but what the analytics don't take into account is the flow of the game how each individual offense is doing against an individual defense at that point in time and vice versa how much time is left what kind of personnel are you working with formations are there any backups involved what's the wind like analytics simply don't take these variables into account so you can't just go blindly by the paper you have to get a feel of the game and use that along with the analytics to make your decision regardless the bucks kicked the field goal with over 4 minutes left and all timeouts left for both teams that was in eternity and there's no telling what would happen in those remaining minutes regardless of what our opinions are on this issue aryans in the end decided to take the lead which would have been the correct call and resulted in a win were not for the perfect storm of a few things that happened next the bucs defense forced the three and out on the very next drive or so we thought i thought they were going to call it on shaq from the passer defense number 58 15 yard penalty first down this would turn out to be the most crucial moment of the game everybody knew that this was a bs penalty had it gone the way it should have tampa bay may have been able to get the ball back with great field position with a chance to score again and run up the clock instead the bears got a fresh set of downs the bucks defense made another stop and forced a punt but now the field was flipped instead of taking over at midfield the bucks had to start deep in their own territory this is where had the offense done their job and burned some clock while potentially getting some insurance points tampa bay could have sealed the victory instead they went three and out themselves burning only 27 seconds off the clock now that right there was the most egregious mistake by the bucks not kicking the field goal they decided to run the ball once for a loss and then through two incomplete passes horrible clock management and play calling but it's okay the bucks are still up by two the defense just has to hold again but thanks to that roughing penalty and the quick three and out the bear starting position is right around the 50 yard line they get a first down and something happens that would affect this defense way more and for way longer than we initially thought vitaveya breaks his ankle vintage murphy's law only one thing left to happen now santos got it oh wait it's not over we have tom brady and over a minute left this is why we brought him in he has like a billion game-winning drives in his career should be easy no problem we get a first down immediately here we go field goal range here we come next play okay not the best play there must have been a miscommunication three more downs to get there next play we dump off the keyshawn vaughn for just five yards not the best thing to happen clock runs marginal gain it's okay though it's okay still plenty of time two more downs next play third down and five pass is off the hands of gronkowski ooh a close one to gronk or was it to mike it it's okay though it's okay though it's forced down and tom knows exactly what he's doing he's been here so many times before so many times he's probably lost count who am i kidding this is the goat he doesn't lose count here we go fourth down brady pass is broken up incomplete and the chicago bears are going to take over [Applause] why why did he throw that it had no chance vonn was open short and probably would have gotten a first down i don't know brady i think he the way brady reacted and hold up his four i think he thought it was third down brady still standing out there but that's fourth down and it's chicago's ball and that's the end of the night and there may be some confusion out on the field you murphin serious this is what may have been a season low for the bucks a nationally televised game an opportunity for tampa to show they're a playoff contender and an opportunity for brady to show he hasn't lost a step instead they showed the nation otherwise and a meme was born so this is a moment we've seen so many times as bucks fans we embarrass ourselves on national television and lose in a way that is so frustrating and heartbreaking it kicks off a big losing streak this is the kind of thing where if you have a leader that has proven nothing in his career the team starts to second guess itself and the losses come pouring in but now we have tom brady yeah he didn't look so hot and yeah he made a kind of mental blunder that you expect from a tampa bay quarterback but he still won six super bowls he's still the goat and as the green bay packers were about to find out you don't doubt tom brady especially when he's angry week six started to look like the bucks were indeed going to fall apart aaron rodgers and the packers quickly jumped to a 10-0 lead and it looked like there was no slowing them down perhaps it was rogers doing whatever this is that woke the bucks up he must be stopped and just loves the way he plays the game passes picks intercepted back the other way touchdown tampa bay that'll do it the next 42 minutes of football ended up being some of the most enjoyable and satisfying all year something awoke in this bucks team after that pick six and suddenly the defense just clicked they got another pick on the very next drive and the offense suddenly woke up too before we knew it it was 14-10 then 21-10 then 28-10 before half-time and to make it even better this is how the first half ends and now sacked again as he's shoved down by adama consu [Applause] and he gets up screaming at rogers and that'll do it for the first half here in tampa bay third sack of the year for sue no assessed penalties against tampa bay i love it this had shades of the old battle of the bay's rivalry when you had warren sapp and brett favre always in each other's faces this was the moment when we saw that the attitude of this team has completely shifted in the end the bucks beat down the undefeated packers 38-10 and made a statement they showed just how dominant they can be when they're all playing at their best the defense held one of the league's best offenses to just 201 total yards they got 5 sacks and 2 turnovers meanwhile the offense had 324 total yards and 4 touchdowns maybe maybe this team is a playoff contender after all the las vegas raiders were up next on sunday night football except it wasn't sunday night football because the raiders had a covet scare the nfl moved it to sunday afternoon in case they had to cancel the game may have ended up being a blessing considering how this team played in prime time during the season to be honest we got to play in that brand new empty pirate shipless roomba against the coach who won us our very first super bowl john gruden was also the head coach in the classic tuck roll game which was one of the early defining moments of tom brady's career the game started pretty close it was neck and neck until right before half time when the raiders made the same mistake oh so many teams made this year they let brady have the ball at the end of the half and spoiler alert this is a little foreshadowing of things to come brady deep shot [Applause] to the end zone for miller and it is caught for a touchdown the brady miller connection runs deep literally in a situation where all the bucks wanted was a field goal the raiders inexplicably ran a defense that made them susceptible to getting beat deep and our little deceptively fast scooter made him pay vegas made it interesting by pulling to within four in the fourth quarter but after this touched down to chris god when followed by a clutch interception from rookie antoine winfield jr the bucks kept their foot on the gas pedal and never looked back it's another great game for both sides of the ball brady has four touchdowns devon white gets three sacks and the bucks win 45-20 next up the new york giants on monday night football and this time they get to play in their scheduled national game this is another one with some interesting story lines of course you have tom brady facing off against the giants who he lost to twice in the super bowl but the last time these two teams played it was a frustrating loss by the bucks where they lost by missing a short field goal at the end of the game it was our first game in the red computer and i gotta say you guys this is our best look not the all white not the all pewter not even the white on pewter red on pewter just looks unfortunately the product on the field did not quite reflect that the one in six giants held tampa bay without a touchdown in the first half and led 14 to six the offense just looked flat and could not get it together maybe it's because it was a national game maybe it was because chris godwin was hurt and jaden mickens was suddenly wide receiver one or maybe it was because steve levy kept calling us the patriots but for whatever reason it took until late in the third quarter before the offense could score a touchdown thankfully the defense kept them in the game and after a pick from sean murphy bunting the bucks were able to score their second touchdown on this sweet catch from mike evans even still the giant tongue in the game and had a drive at the end that was super frustrating the bucks had daniel jones dead to rights on fourth and five and he was able to complete this crazy pass and convert after that the bucks suddenly couldn't get any pressure on the guy and allowed the giants to drive the field and score with 20 seconds left okay here's where the ghost of bucks pass come to haunt us once again are we really about to blow this game to a one win team it all came down to stopping them on the two-point conversion jones throwing forward and it is knocked away dion lewis in antoine winfield contact there's a flag in the end zone of course of course we get a stop and a flag was thrown but the refs got together and discussed it and picked up the flag okay this ended up being a little bit of a controversy it was a bang bang play and while it looked like antoine winfield hit him early in real time the ball was thrown behind dion lewis so he had to make a move backwards towards winfield in the end it was simultaneous and the rest got it right i am in no way biased about this next up it's the revenge game against the new orleans saints and we are all kinds of confident the bucks are six and two at this point they're at home this time and this team has had eight weeks worth of games to get into a rhythm week one was an aberration it was brady's first game but now there's no excuse plus tampa bay just signed antonio brown we now have one of the best wide receivers of the last decade lock it in there's no way the bucks look as bad as they did in week one well no they didn't they looked worse way worse man i don't even want to talk about this game this was one of those perfect storm crap hitting the fan when it rains it pours tampa bay yucca ears kind of losses but it's important to look back on this game because i think a lot of us remember it differently and honestly it could be a lesson that things aren't always as they seem like the narrative was that this defense has lost it and it couldn't stop anyone and they were the reason they lost because tampa was down big early but that's not exactly what happened the buck started the game on offense and went through and out the saints then drove the field and scored a touchdown then the bucks went through and out the saints then had another long drive but the defense forced a fumble inside the five and the bucks went through and out then saints touchdown then bucks three and out then saints touchdown then the bucks throw an interception in their own territory then saints touchdown by the end of the half it was 31 nothing saints and the bucks offense only had three first downs through two interceptions and had a turnover on downs yet the narrative among the common bucks fans was that this game was mostly on the defense fans were starting to call for todd bowles to be fired probably out of ptsd from the lovey smith and mike smith years of getting blown out just like this here's the thing yes the defense shared a lot of the blame here i'm not saying otherwise they came in with a game plan that was just not working and in retrospect was something that could have succeeded if vitaveya weren't injured they barely blitzed in the first half and played zone coverage that gave drew brees ample time to pick them apart bulls thought they would get pressure by just rushing their front four again knowing what we know now vitaveya was essential for that game plan to work todd bowles should have realized that sooner and made adjustments way quicker however the offense never did their job not once the defense actually opened a great opportunity by forcing a fumble on that second drive but the offense couldn't even get a first down think about it if the offense scored a touchdown on even just two of their possessions this game looks a whole lot different the defense wouldn't have been gassed and would have had more time to make adjustments and remember new orleans fourth touchdown came off a bad interception which gave them a short feel if one of those two possessions where they scored a touchdown was this one the score would have been 21 to 14 instead of 28-0 had the offense had their stuff together sure it may have ended up being a shootout but keep in mind that this defense only gave up 30 points or more twice the entire season all the way through the super bowl including this game i'm willing to bet that if the offense wasn't so inept in this game the saints wouldn't have ended up scoring more than 30 and the bucks would have had a great shot to win but in the end the offense didn't score until six minutes were left in the game and the final score was 38-3 the aftermath of this game was pretty brutal we battered and beaten bucks fans thought that when we signed brady we would finally be done with the blowout losses like this one it also started a four game stretch that would be the worst of the season the next game was the panthers again and the defense started off slow coming off a week of hot ticks that incorrectly put the saints lost solely on the defensive shoulders twitter was naturally ablaze of fans trashing the bucks defense after they gave up 17 points to carolina but unlike the saints game the offense did their job they kept scoring in the first half two giving the defense time to make adjustments and lock it down they only gave up six more points the rest of the game and i'd be remiss if i didn't show this highlight from ronald jones ronald jones will get a big hole jones gets by ronald jones may go all the way being chased from behind does jones have enough still on his feet ronald jones 98 yard touchdown in the end the bucks demolished the panthers 46-23 so okay this game wasn't so bad the next two however first we faced the rams on monday night football these two teams have a history of close games on monday night and unfortunately as mentioned before the bucks have a history of wetting the bed on national television it was a close game all the way through and included this touchdown where mike evans reminded everyone that he is a grown man then near the end of the game chris godwin reminded everyone he is also a grown man the rams score a field goal right after that with former buck's draft pick matt gay because bucks but there's plenty of time left on the clock and the goat once again has the opportunity to lead the bucks on a game-winning drive in front of a national audience and once again he makes a jameis winston-like decision leaving bucks fans with that familiar mixture of feelings that include bewilderment and confirmation of futility this is the way this was a game that was frustrating on many points but i think one big glaring point that was unavoidable after this was that the defense has been struggling to get any kind of pressure without vita veya and teams were catching on jared goff threw 51 passes that game you almost never see that in games that are as close as this one was the reason is because la's coach sean mcvay who is younger than me by the way still gets me what am i even doing with my life mcvay saw the league's best rushing defense and said you know what we're just not gonna run the ball at all we're not even gonna try instead we're gonna throw quick screens and short passes since we know they can't get immediate pressure the result golf threw for 376 yards and three touchdowns and wasn't sacked at all keep in mind that this was a quarterback who the rams decided at the end of the season wasn't good enough and traded him away this was a glaring hole in the bucks defense that needed to be fixed fast and they eventually did but it was going to get worse before it got better next up was the defending champion kansas city chiefs yeah we have to talk about it you probably remember this game as the one where tyreek hill just exposed and dominated the defense and embarrassed us all well yeah that is what happened you might also remember that tony romo predicted after the game that these two teams would meet again in the super bowl most of our reactions to that after this game were to scoff at it the defense is clearly broken we've been exposed we've given other teams a blueprint on how to beat us but like in that last saints game it's important to remember the context especially now that we have the gift of hindsight after considering that you may actually see what romo saw in this team that most of us didn't kc drove the field on their opening possession and got all the way to the goal line before the defense made three great stops and forced a field goal the bucks offense then took the field and had to punt but then the defense made another stop and forced a three and out this time and the bucks went through and out this is starting to feel familiar kansas city then doesn't miss and patrick mahomes throws a deep ball to tyrek hill who then proceeds to do this to antoine winfield jr on the way to the end zone let's stick that one in our pocket for now so it's 10 to nothing now and the bucks go three and out then this happens third and one for this team down the field who else he'll hit the ten cut back touchdown touchdown and a leap it's now 17 nothing chiefs and it's still the first quarter here we go again flashbacks of the saints game dancing around in our heads at this point once again the heat is on the defense buck's twitter again wanted everyone fired we may not make the playoffs at this point tyreek hill is on pace for like 800 yards in the game all is lost yet by my count the defense did its job twice up to this point while the offense hasn't done its job at all like with the saints game you can't expect the defense to get their act together when you're constantly going through and out even after that last touchdown the offense once again went three and out and the bucks defense turned around and forced a turnover kansas city would go on to score only 10 more points the rest of the game meanwhile it was a struggle for the buck's offense as they would throw back-to-back interceptions in the second half and the defense just kept holding after that when it was all said and done even after going down 17 to nothing in the first quarter tampa bay only lost by a field goal if their offense did their job on just one more possession they would have won the game does that mean the defense takes no blame absolutely not that first quarter was a disaster for them and it's because they came in with a horrible game plan once again it's clear they were still trying to figure out how to play without much pressure from the d-line yet their adjustments after that were overshadowed because the offense constantly set them up to fail and they ultimately lost the game but it was those adjustments that i think prompted tony romo to say this do you want me to make a slight guess here i think there's a better there's a there's a there's a better than good chance i don't know what even that percentage is that these two are going to be here in tampa wow today's both sides of it i thought tampa bay had a very uphill battle to climb now i think they're in the discussion after they evolved this offense today as the game was unfolding and brady was getting upset again bucks fans scoffed at this but romo saw that this defense had figured it out and knew that the offense was also on its way i think he knew what we had here and that we were very close to something special they all just needed time to figure things out and probably more time than we thought the defense actually showed signs of getting their first in this game the offense was soon to follow coming out of the bye week the seven and five bucks now face the minnesota vikings this was the now or never game in a lot of bucks fans minds they had two weeks to fix whatever was broken and make a playoff run unfortunately the offense still came out flat and brady made some weird misses it even led trevor since i'm a longtime bucks fan and former beat writer for pewter report to tweet that brady is broken honestly we all felt it at the time this was the game out of the buy this was the game that the team was supposed to have it all together and we have throws like that one but trevor thankfully fell on the sword for bucks fans everywhere by working his jinx magic and sending that tweet because on the very next drive this happened first snap in vikings territory for tampa bay brady all day downfield touchdown scotty miller trevor on behalf of bucks nation thank you for moving out of tampa and thank you for sending this tweet your sacrifice will be legend from there on it was all bucks the defense was still giving up a high completion percentage but they were finally getting pressure again dan bailey helped keep us in the game by missing three field goals and an extra point imagine having a bad kicker wonder what that's like the offense found its rhythm they cooled off again at the end of the game but after a field goal by ryan sukup the bucks defense made the big plays when it mattered and iced the game bucks win 26-14 if you don't agree with me that the kansas city game was the turning point for this team or even trevor sicama's tweet then it would definitely be this next game the hapless atlanta falcons hosted the buccaneers and really had nothing to play for except for pride tom brady could be the most hated man in the city after that super bowl where he brought his team back from a 28-3 deficit to beat the falcons believe me they haven't gotten over it it's my hometown and the fans here just have not been the same since that game one could argue the team hasn't either it was made evident this season by the fact that any time the falcons had a lead in the fourth quarter they were more likely to blow it than not in eight of their losses to this point the atlanta falcons had blown a lead two of them by more than 15 points in the fourth quarter that's why they fired their head coach it's in their heads why do i bring this up glad you asked the falcons dominated the first half of this game the bucks defense once again wasn't getting pressure and allowing a high completion percentage and the offense couldn't get anything going at all a lot of that had to do with the fact that left tackle donovan smith was out and brady had less time to throw by half time it was 17 nothing falcons at this point bucks fans had had it once again the fire aryans train was in full force on twitter apparently these fans forgot which team they're playing first drive out of the gate brady throws this beauty to mike evans to get them to the goal line and leonard fournette finishes it off but then the falcons roll right on again and scored another touchdown but the bucks kept their foot on the gas they made adjustments to protect tom and on defense played more press man which helped turn up the pressure on matt ryan devin white was unleashed he was all over the field and ended up with 12 tackles four tackles for loss three sacks and two pass breakups by the fourth quarter the bucks had tied it up and suddenly there was new life antoine winfield jr may have made the play of the game right here the next play white got one of his sacks and forced a field goal it would be the last time the falcons scored on the following drive the bucks drove in the dagger with this beautiful pass to antonio brown now there was a little bit of controversy at the end where it appeared leonard fournette didn't get a first down but the refs gave it to him anyway what people either forgot or didn't notice is the fact that on the drive before jpp was clearly held in the end zone which should have been a safety and it wasn't called so call it even the next game it finally came all together the offense and defense both showed what happens when both units play at a high level at the same time the offense connected on deep shot after deep shot the defense was stifling and constantly getting pressure throw in an early injury to alliance qb matt stafford and the result 34-0 bucks at halftime this ended up being like a week 3 preseason game tampa benched tom for the rest of the game and put in blaine gabbert the only score the lions had was a punt return for a touchdown and the final score was 47-7 ah i love a good blowout you know when it's my team that wins still doesn't sound right anyway this game was a breath of fresh air it definitely seemed like something was different this team finally put it together on top of that the bucks finally after 12 seasons of misery heartbreak and embarrassment made the playoffs sure it was a wild card spot but it didn't matter a lot of us have been suffering through some pretty awful football to finally get here getting to this point made me reflect on my videos from a couple of years ago specifically the 2018 season review i did which i titled the season of murphy's law in that video i went through all the ways in which it just seemed like luck was never on our side and whatever could go wrong went wrong at that time i just thought it was bad luck and that things would turn around it turns out though there's something intangibly different about this team actually it's it's pretty tangible when you consider that tom brady is now our quarterback but apart from the obvious reasons we were better like turnover ratio the amount of weird the ball didn't bounce our way tough luck things significantly decreased plain and simple what brady brought to this team was more than his talent he brought a confidence level that everyone felt and took on themselves brady and the offense struggled quite a bit early in the season but they still found a way to win most of the time like i mentioned before bucks teams of the past would have let that bears game completely derail them players even admitted themselves that this year was the first year they knew they would win no matter what when in years previous they weren't so sure that's the brady effect the final game of the season had the bucks playing the falcons for the second time in three weeks and this one wasn't as exciting as the first one while the falcons fought well and even almost mounted a comeback of their own the bucks worked just better and handled this game the entire way there was excitement early in this game however that came by way of mike evans both in a good way and a bad way in the first quarter mike was able to reach a thousand yards receiving for the seventh year in a row making him the only player to ever start his career with seven straight thousand yard seasons everyone was elated and the stadium went nuts just a few weeks ago it looked like it was a long shot for him but thanks to his performance in the last two weeks against atlanta and detroit all he needed was 40 yards and he got it early unfortunately this happened one play later and brady was aware they took care of it in a hurry end zone touchdown it was in the hands oh mike that's a that's a catch that oh wait a minute he's he's holding that left knee a little bit i hope he's all right reigned earlier so that turf he may have stumbled there hope that he is okay this is what you don't want and there is brady checking on him right away this was a heartbreaking and terrifying moment i just knew mike had torn his acl which would have been tragic considering how he was about to play in his very first playoff game this guy has been on some very bad teams and deserved to experience everything about finally being on a winning one thankfully mercifully there was no structural damage and mike didn't miss a game also thankfully he broke the record right before this happened in the end the falcons brought it to within three points twice but the buck's offense just kept rolling and the defense made plays at the right times tampa bay wins 44-27 and that's it that's the 2020 season for the tampa bay buccaneers thanks for watching and make sure you like and subscribe what oh right there's so much more sorry not used to this the playoffs have begun and the bucks cemented the top wild card spot that meant they were matched up with the lowest seated division winner the washington football team washington was only 7 and 9 and still got a home playoff game neat in spite of their record they actually weren't too bad especially late in the season writing their defense they beat the pittsburgh steelers who were a playoff team honestly they matched up pretty well against the bucks so this was no gimme game their defensive line is their strength and everyone knows that the way to beat brady is to pressure him relentlessly rookie chase young was confident he could do it hmm maybe not a good idea to poke the bear or the goat honestly this got a ton of play in the media and was kind of overblown of course a true competitor like young wants the chance to sack brady in the playoffs i i would love it if i had a whole d line full of guys with that attitude anyway be careful what you asked for chase one more important note about this game it was a question mark most of the week whether washington would play starter alex smith at quarterback because of a calf strain this was a problem because alex smith who is old and fresh off an injury where he almost lost his leg is a very different quarterback than his backup taylor heineke who is young and mogul late in the week washington announced that indeed heineke would get the start remember what i said about the bucks and playing backup quarterbacks tampa now had to play a very unfamiliar player whose style was very different and had not put up a lot of tape in this offense the bucks defense kind of had to go in blind the game started out well as tampa bay jumped out to a nine-nothing lead but heineken's elusiveness and accurate throws under pressure kept washington in it they brought it to within one score after half time and then another huge fumble by rookie kishon von gave washington some fire heinekee had some huge plays including this run on second and long which was then followed by this run inside the ten which brought washington to within two after a failed two-point conversion the buck's offense then scored 10 unanswered points to put an end to all our worries well most of them washington kept the pressure on by scoring a touchdown with just over four minutes left in the game tampa could only muster a field goal after that which kept washington within one score of tying it up with just under three minutes left and at this point all of tampa just knew that the bucks would buck this up but then at midfield a perfectly timed blitz call by todd bowles led to a huge sack by the most underrated player in the nfl levante david that made it fourth and long and the defense did their job victory formation the bucks win their first playoff game in 18 years i'm gonna be honest at this point i told friends and family that this was all i wanted any wins after this would just be gravy and that if we lost i'd still be happy but our next opponent was the new orleans saints yeah the same saints who pummeled the bucks twice this year and the last time was [Music] it would feel really good to beat the saints and the odds were stacked against us it was going to be drew brees last season his last chance to get another ring and the game was in new orleans if we win this game in my mind there's no stopping us and you know honestly i actually had a good feeling about this game i i can't explain it maybe it's the brady effect but i really felt like the saints and the country were going to be quite surprised by how this game turned out but things didn't start so well the offense came out flat once again and then the saints had a huge punt return which immediately got them into the red zone a couple of plays and a dumb penalty later and the saints had the ball at the 5 yard line but the defense miraculously holds them to a field goal okay okay now the offense just needs to get it to get three now [Music] [Applause] cool saints again drive the field but the bucks defense again comes through and holds them to a field goal well the good news is that the last game was at 14 to nothing at this point as opposed to six to nothing come on offense the next drive was better as the offense drove the field it took a fourth and short conversion in their own territory to get it done and in the end the bucks got a field goal to make it six to three at this point some criticized the coaching staff for being willing to go for it on fourth in their own territory but not when it was fourth and two inside the ten that's a valid complaint and i certainly would love to see the bucks be more aggressive there but if i may play devil's advocate here when you keep in mind the factors that numbers and analytics don't measure you can kind of see the line of thinking here for one the fourth down conversion was fourth in inches as opposed to fourth and two those two big yards make a difference second the decision to go for it there was necessary from a momentum standpoint the offense kept sputtering out and once again leaving the defense out to dry the short distance plus the breath of fresh air you give to the team by converting made that an easy decision sure enough the offense got rolling after that then you get inside the 10. while the analytics say you should go for it i'd be willing to bet that the other mental hurdle the staff was trying to overcome was that big zero on the scoreboard the fact that they got any points at all on this drive was another step in the right direction and made it different than the last game again not saying they should have kicked the field goal there because if they had converted that drive into a touchdown it does way more for the team mentally but i can kind of see what they were thinking my main point is and most of you aren't going to like this is sometimes there's no right answer and sometimes both answers are right and sometimes a wrong answer becomes the right one through the course of the game either way all questions went out the window the very next drive when sean murphy bunting picks off brees and gets the ball to the 3 yard line and before bucks fans really even have time to bicker with each other on twitter about the field goal we're up 10 to 6. then that petiole sean payton goes and puts jameis winston in the game well now they've got winston lined up wide to the outside in the direct snap to camara now winston now trequan smith flag is down smith is into the end zone for a touchdown [Applause] this of course made me really pissed off at sean payton but it was at this moment where the bucks had to win this game yeah yeah yeah i know they had to win it before it's the playoffs whatever but seriously they had to win this game now if they lost this very play would be replayed over and over and over again throughout the offseason saints fans would have dangled it over our heads for eternity the saints made it personal and if the bucks win it goes in history as a cute play but nothing more plus it would allow us to be a little happy for jameis those of us who aren't petty anyway so here we go it's third quarter and the bucks are now down by a touchdown saints have the ball and are rolling again they dump off to jared cook who killed the bucks last game and antoine winfield jr comes through with a huge fumble forced and devon white picks it up and runs another big turnover and another one that the tampa bay offense converts into a touchdown with a toss to play off lenny the defense holds again the next drive and the bucks often starts to roll again with two huge plays from backup receivers the first of which is this ridiculous third down catch from my personal 2020 draft crush tyler johnson then you have scottie miller doing scotty miller thanks also on third down this all led to just a field goal but now the bucks have the lead they just have to keep on grinding on defense sure enough devon white picks off brees on the very next drive what a dagger to the saints brady and the bucks offense drive it in further by converting another takeaway into a touchdown now it's not a one for one analogy by any stretch but one can't help but have flashbacks through that moment in the nfc championship game back in 03 when rondae barber picked off donovan mcnabb for a touchdown to send them to the super bowl much like our rivalry with the saints the eagles back then were our bugaboo our bullies our mountain we had to conquer if we were going to win a super bowl they had knocked us out so many times before and that moment where rondae drove in the dagger was the moment that most of us knew we were destined to win the super bowl this was that moment again for a lot of us sure there was a lot of time left but you could just see the momentum shift how deflated brees and the saints were after that sure enough brees throws another pick right after that and it was just over the bucs run out the clock and they're going back to the nfc championship game for the first time since that fateful sunday back in 2003. they did it they beat the bullies and suddenly everything that happened before with new orleans didn't matter the five game losing streak getting blown out the last game our old quarterback scoring a touchdown against us all of it poof we were moving on and the saints were going home and that was their franchise qb's final game how sweet it is suddenly we find ourselves going from beating the bully to being the bully as we now have to play the green bay packers who have revenge on their minds we embarrassed them last time but now we have a chance to prove that it wasn't a fluke rodgers and the packers were a dominant team in the regular season and are now out to correct what they thought was a blip in week six not to mention it's a playoff game at lambeau in january there was hype all week about how there was going to be this massive amount of snow and how this florida team wasn't going to be able to handle the elements completely ignoring the fact that our quarterback played in new england for 20 years but the bucks have a secret weapon remember vida veya he's back in pog form also in god form apparently because he fully recovered from his injury way before any of us imagined what does this mean it means that the bucks can finally rush only four and get the pressure they've been needing so here we go the bucks start out the gate with a touchdown drive including some big time catches from mike evans then on the next drive the defense locks it down with a big third down sack by shaq barrett the packers do bounce back though and tie it up with this tyrique hill-esque touchdown grab over carlton davis in the second quarter but then chris freaking godwin cannot be outdone and makes this incredible catch on third and long after that it's time for playoff lenny to shine on first down fournette stutter steps and now is able to bounce i want to move a spin and touchdown what a run and remember leonard fournette was not having the best regular season and was even a healthy scratch against the vikings the playoffs just suit this man apparently as he was a beast the entire postseason it also came out later that he had a come to jesus meeting with bruce arians and just got his head straight and this was the result next drive the packers drive the field and get inside the 10 yard line but this defense does but it's done a lot this season and they keep them from the end zone in spite of being so close under a minute to go in the half and the packers have the ball again jpp gets a big sack on rogers peep that double team on vida veya and then sean murphy bunting gets another pick making sure the packers don't get a field goal before the half this is great the bucks are going to go into the half with the lead they'll probably just take a knee here and regroup oh my god scotty miller's open green bay stupidly doesn't play breven and lets scooter get by suddenly it's 21 to 10 at the half at this point i was suddenly reminded of all those times tampa bay would have the ball at the end of the first half under lovey smith and he would just take knees without even trying to get a field goal even in spite of having all their timeouts this is what can happen when you keep your foot on the gas before this play the bucks even had to convert a fourth and three to get there that's a winning mentality and as it turned out the bucks would need those points coming right out of the half this defense still was out for blood jordan white had forces of fumble and devin white again is johnny on the spot which sets up an easy touchdown from brady to braid but the packers aren't rolling over like the last game they come back with a long touchdown drive of their own which is then followed by this interception from brady suddenly the momentum is starting to shift a little bit sure enough green bay drive the field and score again and suddenly that play at the end of the first half seems a lot bigger this is where the offense needs to keep scoring a field goal anything but instead brady sails this throw just a bit and it barely tips mike's fingers and lands into a packers hands woof suddenly visions of recent years are creeping back into our heads again i don't mean to sound like a broken record but past bucks teams would completely crumble here but look at that four man pressure the defense gets a third down sack and the packers come up empty okay here we go must score here make it a long drive burn some clock get a field goal what in the jameis h winston was that third straight pick targeting mike evans and that one was not tom brady like we've seen this before keep aaron rodgers in the game at all and things don't look pretty this defense is thankfully unrelenting and still keeps the packers from capitalizing as the clock winds down the bucks offense thankfully mercifully get in the field goal range thanks to a huge catch and run by gronk followed by tom getting his head together and throwing the ball into the ground when faced with pressure ryan's suckup has ice in his veins and the bucks get a much needed field goal to push it past that 30 mark as we knew at this point any time this season tampa bay scored 30 points they won the game but this is the packers in lambeau in the playoffs with the league's mvp at quarterback and four and a half minutes on the clock this was far from over the defense smartly keeps all plays underneath which forces the packers to choose some clock however they allowed them to get to the 10 yard line and basically had to play perfect football they somehow held off and forced a fourth down with just over two minutes left and here's where the controversy begins firstly some contend that rogers could have run the ball into the end zone on that plate on third down but he instead forced a pass into tight coverage and on top of that matt laflore decided to kick a field goal here instead of going for the touchdown here we go again so like i mentioned before this goes beyond what analytics tells you one needs to consider all factors of this particular game when deciding what to do maybe lefleur thought about the fact that his defense held the bucks to just three points over the last four possessions and more than that the one touchdown tampa had the whole half was off a fumble deep in the packers territory maybe he was also considering the fact that he had three timeouts plus the two-minute warning so it was very possible to get the ball back with enough time to score again but here's the thing no matter what if green bay gets the ball back they have to score a touchdown if they didn't convert on fourth down they would have to get the ball back and score a touchdown if they kicked a field goal they would have to get the ball back and score a touchdown mathematically three points here just doesn't make a whole lot of difference for you if you go for a touchdown in this tampa bay has all the pressure deep in their own territory to run the clock if you score a touchdown and miss the two-point conversion suddenly on your next possession all you need is a field goal really no matter how you shake it taking three points here was not the right call it was playing scared and as we've seen over the 20-plus years of tom brady's career if you do that he makes you pay and matt lafleur didn't think about that unfortunately that's not the only controversy from this game on a crucial third down brady throws a pass to tyler johnson and the late flag is thrown the call is pass interference on kevin king green bay fans were up in arms social media was flooded with angry people claiming that the ball was uncatchable and therefore shouldn't have been a penalty so let's look at the replay hmm i'm pretty sure a defender is not supposed to grab and hold the receiver's jersey while the ball is in the air the ball was uncatchable because the corner slowed tyler johnson's progress and even if it was an uncatchable ball and shouldn't have been past interference it definitely is defensive holding which also would have given the bucks an automatic first down sorry packers fans no matter how you slice it the outcome is the same the only gripe about this call i've heard that is even a little bit legitimate is the fact that this entire game was one where the rest were not calling blatant penalties i could see being upset at choosing this moment to finally throw a flag here but let me ask you this let's say you're on the highway going 15 over the speed limit but you're going with the flow of traffic and let's say a cop chooses you as the one he pulls over and gives a ticket to are you going to go to court and plead to the judge that a bunch of other cars before you were also speeding and that's why you don't deserve the ticket what did your parents tell you when you told them that so and so started it or so and so did it first what do you tell your kids just because everyone else is doing it that doesn't make it right for you to do it to just because others got away with committing the crime it doesn't absolve you from the consequences of your actions a penalty is a penalty if kevin king doesn't pull tyler johnson's jersey the bucks wouldn't have been awarded a first down also if kevin king doesn't underestimate scottie miller the whole game is completely different so packers fans maybe you should direct your anger at the real reason you lost just a thought after all that the bucks ran out the clock and accomplished something no other team has done before punched their ticket to a home super bowl figures the first time a team would do this would be during a pandemic and limited capacity but hey we'll take it so here we are the big game the nfl championship game the superb al honestly i had little doubt in my mind that we would win this team just seemed destined yes the last time we played the chiefs it was a train wreck in the first quarter but it was clear this team figured something out during that game and we're not going to let tyree kel throw deuces on them again leading up to this game the national media could not get over their love fest of the young hot shot patrick mahomes i get it the dude is unreal but the obsession got a little out of control people thought he was just going to walk in with two backup offensive linemen and just get into this massive shootout with the bucks completely ignoring the fact that tampa only gave up 30 points twice this year some were even calling this the game of two goats which is asinine on many levels for one you can't have two greatest of all time that goes against the definition of greatest second pump the brakes yeesh mahomes has one ring and they're putting him on the same level as tom freaking brady it's time for a team to bring everyone back down to earth a little bit and i'm here for it to further my feelings on how this game would turn out i saw the shots of these two qb's walking around pregame and to me it was clear tom brady was laser focused and looked like he was about to murder someone he just knew he was winning this game let's go patrick mahal's meanwhile had the look of someone who hoped he would win roll your eyes all you want but look at what happened in this game kansas city struck first by kicking a field goal near the end of the first quarter my exact thought in this moment was of super bowl 37 when the raiders first struck with a field goal which would end up being their only leader of the game turns out the exact same thing happened in this one on the very next drive the buck scored the game's first touchdown thanks to a patented tommy degronke connection [Laughter] fast forward into the second quarter and the bucks are driving again they get inside the ten thanks to a beautiful pass catch and run from brady to mike evans that set up this play fake to joe hague for a touchdown oh no he dropped it joe what are you doing on a play that the bucks had not run all season it was the big boy's time to shine and he completely blew it honestly i feel bad for the guy it was in his hands and the defender just made a great play swatting it out that's okay though cause ronald jones will just punch it in okay well he'll do it now the bucks thankfully forced the three and out after that and kansas city's punter tommy townsend shanks the kick that hair was just too long and weighed him down i guess that set up the bucks well for at least a field goal never mind brady throws a pick wasted opportunity never mind defensive holding well the bucks live on and eventually get to kick the field goal never mind offsides on the defense well if you give tom brady too many free passes and he makes you pay the very next play he finds his bestie in the end zone again we're near the end of the half at this point and kansas city finally starts moving the ball again they get into the red zone and look at this defense just confusing kansas city mahomes has to run for his life and throw it away they get their second field goal but here's the problem they left time on the clock before the half if you've watched the whole video this far i think you know what's coming next with just over 20 seconds to go brady throws it deep to evans but the defender trips him up which earned a nice pi penalty after that the chief's defense plays it conservative and brady tosses it to play off lenny who gets it inside the 10 and the bucks use a timeout brady then throws to evans and he again draws a pass interference flag after that brady throws it short to antonio brown for a touchdown the funny thing about this play is av apparently ran the wrong route he was supposed to cut it outside but improvised and brady saw it last second and still trusted him to catch it i don't know what he ran but there's a reason tom lobby to get a b here they just get each other after that four man pressure works its magic again and levante david shuts down kelsey another field goal so now the bucks have a chance to just run away with things and who better to do that than play off excuse me lombardi lenny [Music] touchdown it's now looking great for tampa bay but believe me at no point do i or any bucks fan feel safe with patrick mahomes on the other end but still this defense was just relentless they just kept getting pressure on mahomes and the chiefs did nothing to help him that leads to a crushing interception by rookie phenom antoine winfield jr thanks to a tip by mike edwards that leads to more points for the pewter pirates you have to give credit to mahomes and the chiefs though it can't be understated how well he played in spite of having guys in his face on the very next drive he evades pressure and throws that same patented winston chuck and duck football and nearly scores and then it happened again on the very next play as he threw a laser while parallel to the ground insanity how accurate this kit is so you can see the reason behind the media obsession if his receivers make some key catches this may have been a different ball game but still how about we wait a couple of decades before saying he's automatically on the same plane as tom brady okay fast forward to four minutes left in the game and by this point the chief's o-line just stands up and lets defenders buy on just about every play they get to fourth and 10 and holmes chucks another desperation ball towards tyric hill and incomplete and tampa bay makes another stop remember when i went over the last chiefs game and i told you to stick this play in your pocket well if you don't remember antoine winfield jr certainly did winfield gave us what was probably the most iconic moment of the game and certainly one of the most famous images which will go down in buck's lore forever winfield expressed exactly what we were all feeling in this moment we were so embarrassed the last time we played the chiefs and because of that so few people gave this team a chance you better believe the secondary remembered that first game and you better believe they used it as motivation for their dominant performance on the biggest stage and to cap it all off devon white drives in the final nail by picking off mahomes in the end zone and the tampa bay buccaneers are super bowl champions for the second time in franchise history wow even now it's still hard to believe if you're not a bucks fan it's hard to describe to you the enormity of all of this given what we've been through the last 12 years really the last 18. this is one of the losingest franchises in all of professional sports so we're either at the lowest of lows or the highest of highs for one i am so thankful to finally have this feeling again and to be able to share it with so many others special shout out to all of you who subscribed and watched my videos when this team was a laughingstock so soak it all in bucks fans the games the plays the boat parade the lombardi toss the drunk brady and getting to cash in on those receipts of all the doubters when the playoffs come the tampa bay buccaneers will go get ran they're going to get routed by all the memorabilia and remember all you can about this season because take it from me no matter how magical the year was no matter how stacked this team looks and no matter how bright the future seems you never know when you'll be back here and you never know just how hard the road will be to get there again thanks for watching everyone and while i don't really make videos anymore i'm still very active on twitter so make sure you follow me there and we can experience the 21 season and beyond together go bucs [Music] you
