every day is a good day the lord made it i'm breathing the air that he gave me to breathe and thank the good lord i got a set of lungs to breathe it with and i've got a cardiovascular system except that pushes it through my body father bless your word study of your word give me wisdom in the scripture lord my heavenly father i heard a dear brother this past week say he wished he'd studied more and spoken less i say that same prayer this morning i need to study more and speak less in thy name i pray amen turn the book of genesis 1 1. this is the first book of moses moses you know the books of moses five books of moses called a torah genesis 1 1 in the beginning the beginning is a relative thing all right it has to do with creatures or creation there is no beginning with god so in the beginning god created the heaven and the earth the hebrew word translated created here in verse 1 is barack that means to bring into existence from nothing he didn't take anything use any material if you believe in the eternity of matter you got a problem big problem he didn't take any material well how did it happen his word he simply spoke it and there is creative power in his word so he brought into existence genesis now you'd be surprised how many people that absolutely despise the idea that there's a god and that he created anything they like to believe in the eternity of matter and some kind of an ethereal eternity of a metaphysical idea or thought or a mind or spiritual force or whatever but they do not like the idea of a personal god the god of abraham isaac and israel we find him in the old testament they don't like that one of the reasons they don't like that probably the main reason he's holy holy holy therefore he we have to we have to uh we have to answer to him according the way we're going to live now just a few days ago they've been marching here and around the country all over the place and demonstrating protesting and one one of the protesters had a shirt on said jesus come back we'll kill you again come back we'll kill you again as if they killed him the first time nobody killed him he laid his life down but come back jesus and we'll kill you again there is a visceral hatred for the lord jesus christ these people you ask yourself you have to ask yourself this question why is it that somebody who went in to a cross and was nailed on that cross never did a thing for himself everything he ever did was for somebody else is hated so much they don't hate muhammad they don't hate buddha they don't hate the hindu and the buddhists and the confucius and the taoists and all the rest of them jainism every religion you think of they don't hate them but they hate the lord jesus christ now they're marching in our streets now and they're telling us that they here in the streets and here they are they're liberals they're marxists they're leninists and uh the uh not one of them would want it would one would have been in russia when the bolsheviks took over wonderful thing if they could show us that just one example of it just one one example of life coming from non-life really i mean isn't a theory something that can be uh the idea of a theory something
