[Music] light is the solution to any form of darkness no matter what you might be going through no matter what the challenge might be light from the word of god will extinguish it and john chapter 1 1-5 confirms that darkness can never comprehend extinguish overshadow light welcome to white waiting series my name is fikayo adenka thank you for joining me thank you for sharing the word of god with me thank you for listening to my personal experiences and sharing tips on how to go about yourself deliverance journey please stay tuned i'll be right back [Music] welcome back so today i'm going to be sharing briefly for the word of god then i have a little illustration to show us or explain to us what the self-deliverance journey can look like so we're going to have an amazing time today let me start by reading from the book of john john chapter 1 verses 1 to 5. i'm using the amplified version it says in the beginning before all time was the word christ and the word was with god and the word was god himself he was present originally with god all things were made and came into existence through him and without him was not even one thing made that has come into being in him was life and the life and the life was the light of men and the light shines on in darkness for the darkness has never take note of that darkness has never overpowered it put it out or has absorbed it appropriated it or is unreceptive to it let me um quickly read from the so i'm gonna i'm gonna buttress and lay emphasis on verses five the kingdom version says from four says in him was life and the life was the light of men so in him in christ we have life and christ life is our light so the moment you come into a relationship with god you have a new life and that life brings light to your world and 5 says and the light shines in darkness and darkness comprehended it's not the new living translation says that verses 5 says light shines in darkness and the darkness can never take notes can never extinguish it so i'm going to um liken darkness to every negative thing might be happening around you you know i'll refer i'll link it up with um the challenges you might be having maybe while going through your self-deliverance journey battles with the spirit spouse you know any form of sickness anything you are not comfortable with can be likened to darkness and christ like the word of god says is light christ is the word all right i also want you to know that the book of isaiah says something very beautiful about darkness and we are in a season where in times when it's almost you can see darkness everywhere you know everywhere you can refer to the current pandemic and all that has been happening you can refer to these as darkness as well all right um so let me read isaiah 60 verses 1 it says arise shine for your light has come for the glory of the lord has risen upon you for being darkness shall cover the earth and gross darkness the people but the lord shall arise upon thee and his glory shall be seen upon thee i'd like you to take note of that darkness shall cover the end but there's another another level of darkness gross darkness i love the way the amplified bible puts that so the ampli unamplified bible says and arise and shine arise from depression and prostration and we circumstances have kept you that's my prayer for you i rise to a new life in the name of jesus he says shine be radiant with the glory of the lord for your light has come and grabbed the lord has written upon you verses 2 isaiah 62 the amplified version says for darkness for behold darkness shall cover the earth and dance darkness all people but the lord shall arise upon thee o jerusalem and his glory shall be seen on you so in the midst of the darkness you would rise with the light of god so the darkness if you're a child of god you are a new creation being you've given your life to christ you're working with god you are a son of god what i mean son daughter son we are all sons of god all right you are exempted from the current darkness so no matter the pressure no matter what you're seeing in your dreams no matter the attacks no matter all the devil might be doing i want you to know that is all the devil has a lot of wilds and he does a lot of things to try to distract us never forget the bible says darkness will cover the earth dance darkness the people of the world but you would arise because the lord has risen upon you and his glory shall be seen upon you when the glory of god comes there's no darkness that can stand so i want you to also know i also want to quickly say a few things that you know john 8 12 jesus spoke again to the people he said i am the light of the world whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but we have the light of life so the more you walk with christ the more you extinguish darkness because you are in christ darkness has no place no place in your life i want to remind you that psalm 119 verses 105 says your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path so the word of god is the light and revelations 19 all right says 13 says he wore robe dripped in blood his title was the word of god that was referring to jesus he was drink with blood and the title was the word of god so christ is the word christ is our life christ is the light the word light shines into whatever darkness might be around you whatever might be causing you darkness and darkness will give way so you see while we're going through the self-deliverance journey so let me let me quickly do this illustration and i pray the holy ghost will give us understanding all right so i have two glass cups okay okay so i have this liquid it's just a substance like a drink so because it's um dark colored let me refer to these as darkness right just follow this now this is just water this is water all right so i'm going to refer to this as light darkness light and this glass cup represents maybe let me say their container so let's this this represents us we believers or anyone generally now i have my glass cup i'm going to fill it up with a bit of content that i call darkness okay so i have this now now if you look at this i think i should feel a bit a little bit more fill it up with a little bit more okay so this is maybe someone and this person has a challenge having attacked sex in the in this in her he not sleep or his sleep and this is a very very challenging situation all right now this is darkness this is light right this is the word of god this is this is the life of christ okay this is the word of god now what happens to us while we're going through the self-deliverance journey is this most times we put a pinch of light into gross darkness and it's almost as if you are not getting any results then we get discouraged now because the things happening sex and the dream are all trying to break convenience curses and etc they are spiritual situations you might not see physical evidences of what you're doing but the truth is every time you take the word of god you take light and you put it into darkness something happens something happens because the bible says the word of god the word of god is light the word of god is christ christ is the word and christ is life and his life is our light so each time i put the word of god into my situation by declaring the word or praying the word i am injecting i am putting light into darkness now that i put it and i'm not seeing results immediately um is not a proof that light hasn't come into darkness i don't know if you get that now what happens is we get tired easily when we keep putting and you know pumping lights pumping like they're not seeing anything the devil comes and tell you nothing is happening no your prayers are not working there's no answers to what you're asking god for you're on your own christ doesn't love you christ god doesn't love you yeah if you are a believer you shouldn't be going through this you've been declaring the word you've been praying you've been fasting you've done all nothing is happening now we get discouraged and we just don't we give up and we just drop what we've been doing but that is not the way it works when it comes to self-deliverance when it comes to self-deliverance you would need to take the word of god the light you need to take the life of christ and you will keep pouring it into yourself into the situation you keep pouring you keep pouring you keep pouring you keep pouring you see it's taking a bit of time but you can see is likely not it's likely not it's becoming more transparent it's becoming more transparent but i'm not done yet so i have to keep doing this injecting the word declaring the word declaring what the word of god says declaring who i am can you see that it's getting lighter light is taking full charge of the dark darkness and dark situation but i'm not done so you mustn't give up until you see results no now we have we have an agenda all right we have an agenda you will keep pouring keep pouring keep pouring treat the parenthesis can you see it's getting better it's getting brighter it's getting brighter it's getting brighter can you see that you don't give up because you're not getting results and i can still go further i can go further until i get a pure beautiful life filled with lights [Music] can you see that if you consistently put pressure of the of light into any dark situation it will give way now this is a little bit brown that means you keep putting more keep pumping more more of the word more of the word and eventually darkness will give way to light the bible says life choice in darkness and darkness can never it has never happened it can never happen it's just like this room if i turn off the light you will have darkness but the moment i switch on light well the darkness eradicates it it gives way you know the truth is sometimes the what you're dealing with determines the level and the pressure of light you should inject if you are in a small room you could have just a candlestick and it could be good enough as light if you have a gigantic hole a small candlestick might not work you might need to get bigger lamps if you are in a stadium all right a big gigantic field you need to get floodlights so what you're dealing with should also cause you to um to to know the level of light you should inject so how do we inject light studying the word not just reading and just flipping through you study you meditate you take it in you think about it you deployed i've been i have been translated from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of life because i'm in christ jesus all things are passed away all moral spiritual conditions have passed away they begin to decline in the name of jesus the word of god says you quote the scripture you declare it you say it out you face the spirit husband face the spirit wife in the name of jesus remember to always use the name of jesus the name of jesus is the name above every other name philippians 2 says christ has god has given christ the name the highest name you know and at that name every knee will bow and every tongue will concern so you keep declaring the name declaring the word praying in the name of jesus and darkness will give way i trust you've been blessed by this video don't give up keep pushing keep injecting life darkness can never extinguish appropriate overshadow light it has never happened would it never happen concerning you let's just say what a prayer father i thank you i thank you for everyone who is listening to me thank you for your sons and your daughters going through the self-deliverance process thank you for all you have done thank you for the journey so far father i ask for strength for anyone walking through this journey anyone tired anyone really anyone about to give up lord let flood light of strength rest upon such people right now in the name of jesus i decree the lord your grace will uphold them in the name of jesus i ask that they will mount up with wings as evil eagle and move close to you and draw strength for this season in the name of jesus i ask oh god for special understanding of the word that wisdom insight understanding of scriptures will rest upon everyone under the sound of my voice father we will pick scriptures including myself we will read one line and it would it will explode in our heart because the holy spirit will begin to explain deep secrets mysteries of the word to us you will give us wisdom to know who we are in christ thank you jehovah lord let just pray in the holy ghost for a few minutes if you can pray in tongues pray along with me we decree that darkness gives way to light in the name of jesus thank you lord for your word thank you for this time in jesus
