The Spider Tree

this ash tree has a pretty mean attitude and we're talking about the future it's just it's just gonna be a nightmare for them so beautiful as it is it's too young to be this big I'm a little under the weather but I'm gonna work today anyway what are we gonna do so we have a boom truck out there but it's super awkward super awkward to get the boom truck in we can just chop it up and drag it out yeah yeah the thing is we got we'll have three guys on the ground and it's so awkward for the crane and it's just like right at the end of the our reach if we get the crane usable there's no good spot for the chipper here's the thing if we were backed in here far enough to get good power we couldn't lift out over the front of the truck and we can get the chipper right in here so it makes taking everything you know we won't be able to boom around far enough to actually do anything with the piece besides maybe set it down on the yard here but then our cranes in the way of getting brush out so it's like that's an idea though what if we just set everything in the yard and a giant pile and then move the crane because that would be I mean it could be done but it because that would be one two three four five six like seven picks and yeah so so so a flurry of activity in the tree put it on the ground guys are all working that's what we're leaning towards even though I brought the crane because yeah if you were picking pieces up and setting things down you've got Adam and Wyatt sitting here watching piece is just getting sat down with tons of brush that could be being taken out all right I don't sweat it much when guys are standing around though cuz there's tons of times when they're not smarter is smarter whether you're standing or not still well let's see what we do I don't know what we're gonna do YouTube a little just get it down to you know like like five or six foot stems that are sticking out from this mainly and then just Punk right in between those two and it would make YouTube viewers happy because everybody seems to be depressed that you haven't had any free balm and no ropes everybody seems to think that you should use ropes on a tree job hey I went to the world I mean they might be depressed that we even drove the crane to the job Dameon semester on him from yesterday yeah yesterday at the end of a long day me and Damien went out and fell a couple of trees sketchy trees see that [Music] that's all I'm gonna do is I'm gonna go up the center and make a tie-in for myself and then I'm gonna use this bar since it comes out and hangs right over here since it hangs out right here that'd be the easiest one to cut off first boom guys would be working but I can use it oh my I think there's a typo there somewhere so what's interesting is is another company said call August because he has a crane and then we're gonna leave the crane parked in the road this to me doesn't look like oh my god you have to do it with the crane oh oh here let me get this August let me just go ahead and yeah well it's good and lets spectate it for a second you little hooker okay you can have it back now here's my personal tie-in kind of a hodgepodge of connectivity so that I can get the strength out of these two unions right below that is the main rigging point and then there will be a redirect intriguing point wherever I need it to be as as we progress okay I'm just kind of blazing through this without sharing it with you guys but I'm getting my spar ready and I'm getting a routes cleared and I'm just shredding it you know like the little a little 2511 it's really light and powerful this one's modified and so I'm doing like what some of the people say not to do but just one handing the saw I think it's an awesome skill to learn and do well to do it bad would be wrong somebody will hate that but that's just [Applause] so I redirected this is just here this Speedline sling it's just to make the main spar stronger okay because it's gonna be redirected over there and it's gonna be we wouldn't want this thing just pulled that way all the time by all that big stuff so now the energies will be distributed straight down this trunk which is really important because I'm tied to it that's my main tie-in okay YouTube checking in now I have the final rigging redirect is done that'll put things down right in there that that's really cool and this has probably been a half-hour in the tree I'd say we let this all come I'll cut up shipping so that the crane has problem although easier my back is killing today those look like get it done boots I'm thinking my next pair I'm gonna get those I think I'm gonna go back [Music] redirect your strength name rigging on redirect for strength main rigging point tie-in above it redirect for worth positioning [Music]
