The Saddest Betrayal in Overlord

Overlord season 4 is still one of those Seasons that I still have forgotten even after I stopped airing like there's still a lot of moments in that series especially during season four that it's hard to not forget about them but I think one of the most memorable moments that happened in season 4 was sadly the Betrayal that happened to Xanax during this season and what makes this material really sad but at the same time really inferring as to who were the people that betrayed Xanax but before we get into that I need to address the other betrayals that did happen in Overlord season 4 as well now these betrayals I know people are going to mention it so I want to quickly address them many people are probably going to mention the whole betrayal that Renner did to the kingdom in which you pretty much just betrayed the entire Kingdom like it was nothing just forget the things that she wanted and while that betrayal is also memorable and it's also one of the worst betrayals in Overlord as well the reason why is that the saddest and is the reason why Xanax is always on my mind is mainly due to the fact that we all kind of knew that Renner was going to do something eventually like there were so many hints in this series that showed that Renner was a complete psychopath she was not a normal person and it was only a matter of time in which Renner did something that showed us how much of an evil person she truly is the other betrayal that people are probably going to mention as well is the one that involves the blue roses in which the blue roses group betrayed I say betrayed with massive quotation works and I'll explain why betrayed the leader of the group and that is none other than luckiest I think that's how you say her name sorry if I mispronounced it now the reason why this betrayal even happened was because the leader of blue roses was determined to stay in the Kingdom the same Kingdom that eins wanted to take over and fight even though the other members pretty much try to convince her to get out and escape with them because they knew this was going to be a losing battle because they knew that irons was going to easily defeat them no matter what but despite all of that being known she was still very determined to stay and fight to try and save a kingdom and at that point the blue rose decided to come up with a plan in which if they're not going to be able to convince her willingly then they were willing to use Force to take her with them and the way they did it was by not only first drugging her by putting something on her tea but then they use mind control in order for them to get her to be with them and escape the kingdom which was successful as she ended up being mind control and she obviously escaped the kingdom with them now the reason why this betrayal isn't the saddest is because the reason why they did all this even though they did not want to do it was because they deeply cared about her you see they did not want her to die just like that like it was nothing he did not want her to fight a pointless battle so they did what they thought they had to in order for Graham to be able to escape from the kingdom because at that point they knew that the kingdom was Doom because they know how powerful the sorcerer kingdom is and they knew very well that fighting eins and his entire Army will be meaningless they knew they were just simply going to die quick and this is nothing compared to what happened to Xanax because the way Xanax was betrayed was not only heartbreaking but it was also very infuring to see because Xanax was literally trying to do anything he can to come up with some sort of way to save his people while zanik wasn't the wisest character he wasn't the most friendliest character and just by looking at him you can tell that he wasn't the strongest character in the series but what makes Xanax so memorable in season 4 especially was the fact that he showed us What leader he could have been if he was able to lead his entire Kingdom and he clearly showed us that Yannick would have been a great leader had he was given the opportunity to fully show it and even irons himself recognized that Xanax would have been a really great leader and he had a lot of respect for him this was clearly shown during the conversation in which it seemed it was going to be the last conversation before Ein set his plans to motion he wanted to have a conversation with Xanax and of course while zanek realized that no matter what happened it was going to be pointless to try and convince irons because no matter what honestly determined to take over the kingdom but nonetheless Xanax decided to have a conversation with irons it was in this conversation that both zanik and irons learned a lot of things about each other in Xanax case he learned the reason why eins was doing all this why he was setting this plan in motion why did he even declare war to the kingdom to begin with all the though to be fair it's not like ions declared war to the kingdom for no reason because this all happened thanks to a person that goes by the name of Philip if you have watched season four you know who this person is and you know what I'm talking about but anyways it was all for a very simple answer eyes explains that the reason why he did all this is because he wants the people around him to be happy pretty much quickly revealing that as long as his entire people are happy and then that's all that matters and he will do anything to make sure that they have better lives even if it means creating massive destruction and Chaos if that's all it takes then he would gladly do it and while zanek was not happy by this answer he quickly realized that it would be pointless to have some sort of argument with irons because no matter what his mind is not going to change now moving on to eins the things that he learned about Xanax was also pretty interesting he learned just how determined he was to pretty much stand his ground no matter what even though Xanax knew that he was not going to win this battle even though he knew that eins and his army were much more better than his army he wasn't going to go down without a fight and that's something that irons really respected showed once again what it is to be a great leader and that is something that ions can understand and knows why Xanax was still standing his ground and not backing down because that is something that he would also do if he was in Xanax shoes and because of Xanax determination and showing us how much of a great leader he is eins told zanek that he'll make sure that his and his Army's dads are quick and painless which is something that zenik appreciated as it's very clear that he knew that that was going to be the outcome no matter what happened but very quickly we're about to learn the reality can be very cruel and How Some Humans will do anything just to survive and save their own lives and Xanax was unfortunately very quick to learn that as when he was heading back to where his army was stationed his own people turned on him and wanted to take his head to show iron that they were going to be analyzed and just like when Janet wasn't going to back down against irons he wasn't going to die just like that he was going to fight till the very end but unfortunately Xanax wouldn't last long as we get then the next scenes in which eins as he was sitting down he gets notified right that people from Xanax Army wants to see him in which he doesn't really know why at first but very quickly he understands what is going on in which these people give ions Xanax head to show them that they are now on his side and of course irons while he doesn't clearly outright show it he can tell at that moment he was incredibly Furious Not only was he mad about the fact that Xanax own people turned on him even though he was trying his best to protect him even though he was doing everything he possibly could to try to have some sort of different outcome it seems these people didn't care about him whatsoever and took his life hoping that their lives will be spared if they were to betray their leader but the only reason why eins was also upset at this was the fact that these people weren't really being loyal to him the reason why they were just doing all this was just so they could save their own skin and to be honest is probably one of the most stupidest plans I've ever seen in this series and that's mainly due to the fact that what did these people expect did they really expect irons to just be able to be fully convinced after them doing all this they were truly low oil to him in fact is it the complete opposite this just showed irons just how disgusting they are and how they're willing to betray their own people just to save their own lives and at that moment irons not only told Albedo to bury Xanax with respect showing us once again how much he had respect for Xanax but remember when he said that he was going to give Xanax and his army quick and painless deaths well after what Xanax Army did now is going to give them a fate worse than death he falsely promises them that they are fine and that they are now part of eins's group but little did they know that they are about to regret everything that they just did because as irons is ordering to have them be taken to Nazareth little did they know that they are about to meet a fate worse than death as eins makes it very clear as soon as they are all gone that they are going to be tortured non-stop even if they beg for death so you just know how Furious eins is and it goes to show us what happens when you do something that really pisses him off and that is why I think Xanax betrayal is probably one of the saddest with trails in overlords because while Xanax didn't have any big huge moments previously in this series and in fact not a lot of people really seem to be interested in Xanax character at this moment during season 4 during the time when irons was about to take over the kingdom Xanax showed how much of a great year he could have been it really did show us that Xanax was actually very capable of leading his entire Kingdom but that is something that we will never see as the kingdom has now been destroyed by eins and his entire Army but not only that but he's no longer in the world that's the most tragic thing about Xanax Dev he didn't die by trying to protect his kingdom from irons no he died by being stabbed in the bag by the very same people he tried protecting during his last moments Xanax didn't show any evil intentions or any hidden agendas that he had as to the reasons why he was doing all these actions no at the end of the day the only reason why he did what he did and why he was doing the things he was doing was because he wanted to make sure that his people were saved he wanted to do the things that make a great and respectable leader a leader that looks out for their people a leader that puts their necks out for the people's sake all those actions being completely meaningless now because those very same people that he tried protecting turned their bags on him and killed them all for their own selfish needs and it didn't even work at the end like at the end of the day their plans failed miserably not only did they show their true colors and how a bunch of cowards they truly are but they even had a fake words to death because now they are being tortured Non-Stop and it's all thanks to their stupid plan had they not gone with this plan whatsoever and just thought till the end their deaths would have been quick and painless sure they will still be dead but the end of the day they showed they were willing to fight non-stop but because they were selfish now they're respelling the rest of their lives being tortured Non-Stop and who knows what is happening to them in Nazareth for all I know they could be probably dealing with the most painful and most excruciating things that you could imagine somebody dealing with but at the end of the day that's the consequences for their actions and really they can't blame anybody but themselves and that's why I think Xanax betrayal is probably the most satisfy Trail to happen in Overlord and yeah that's pretty much my entire video doesn't want to talk about this because it's still a moment that I still remember from Overlord season 4 and hopefully we do get season 5 next in the near future but only time will tell and with that that's pretty much my entire video hope you enjoyed it and I'll see you next time
