hey guys and welcome to a new video in this video we're going to be covering the pvm bossing ladder which can be used to progress and improve your pvm skills in runescape so whenever you're ready grab your cup of tea sit back relax and enjoy this video will be focusing on four different bossing tiers being beginner intermediate experienced and expert please keep in mind that bossing is a mid or higher level activity so i'm going to assume you at least have some basic ability knowledge a tier 70 armor set like banjos subjugation or armadillo at least a tier 70 and preferably a tier 80 weapon before you attempt any bosses in this video this is what i would consider the bare minimum to start bossing now while you can get away using less than this boss's you can barely call a boss like king black dragon or maybe the giant mall it's not exactly ideal and you're going to struggle and eat a lot of food when learning i will also avoid talking about any large group related content because while you can learn and improve from doing group pvm content i don't think it's ideal for personal development you'll either be carrying others or be carried which will limit your progression either way for this reason i'll be focusing on solo and or small group bosses only in this video let's go in the beginner bosses tier i have a couple of different bosses which are all related to goldwatch dungeon 2. first of all hellwear an excellent boss to learn some placement avoiding the mushrooms using your defensives which will allow you to know through this boss even with low tier gear as if you resonance the you will bleed attack using your shield switch you're going to heal a lot and it will also teach you how to react on a bleed by using the freedom ability vendikta is a very obvious and popular choice for beginner pvms it will also teach you placement by avoiding the smoke or fire which vindictor places and it will also teach you to use defensives like devotion or resonance on the ranged attack in the second phase you can also practice prey flicking as vindict's attack rotation is the exact same every single time in phase two being a melee hit ranged hit melee hit and then a firewall if you want to see if your dps is decent and if you're able to react quickly the twin furious might be the choice for you in my opinion the twin furys are the best way of learning pvm early on although not as profitable as let's say vindictor and perhaps the best boss to learn pvm at the arc glaciar this boss has permanent free depths in normal mode and allows you to turn off and all mechanics as you wish you can turn on one mechanic and practice it specifically or turn them all on and try your best at doing multiple things this includes using defenses for the frost canon mechanic placement in terms of the beams mechanic reaction based mechanics like the creeping ice and the ice cannon minions which include targeting and using aoe abilities and prayer flicking if you've turned on flurry this boss is very accessible to lower slash mid-level players and can be done with minimal gear the better gear you have the faster kills will be and the easier you'll learn though gear is definitely important but practice is more important next up intermediate bosses now these olive mates are a big step up from the previously mentioned bosses but once you get into them once you learn them which could take you 5 10 15 attempts maybe less maybe more but once you do you're going to be practicing a variety of different things and the racks are in my opinion is the ultimate high level or entry high level pvm boss you're going to be using defensives here to reduce incoming damage you're going to resonance here and there or use debilitating p4 placement is important in phase 4 or when you have the little eggs mechanic or if you're doing acid path there are plenty of different reaction based mechanics including minions like the mirrorback spiders where if you keep attacking a raxor you're going to get reflected damage and die or the little insecure spiders and of course prayer flicking which thankfully is only really relevant in phase 4. phase 4 requires you to flick between ranged and magic attacks but at the same time also move around and deal damage in case your damage isn't high enough because the little black blob comes out which will hit you with typeless damage and you need to move out of the way or it will finish you off this boss literally has it all if you're looking for something slightly different chiropractic normal mode could be a good option as well in my opinion chiropractic normal mode is slightly more difficult than zero percent in range of racks so if we exclude minion path which is by far the hardest path i know this because i've done both bosses with a cheap gear setup for guides if you're looking for guides check the links in the description below by the way now keropak has reaction based mechanics like the clouds or the jumping slam attack which without the pontifex ring will hurt and stun you it also heavily incentivizes you to use defenses but perhaps not as much as other bosses because you don't need to use resonance as long as you have enough food but it does help to use resonance or stuff like debilitate and devotion to reduce incoming damage because cara pack does hit like a truck if your dps is low or not high enough kerr pack will summon lightning walls which you see me obtaining here on purpose which you can use barricade for to actually reduce all incoming damage again teaching you how to use defensives to your advantage but yeah it definitely punishes you quite hard if your dps is low and i guess it kind of teaches you ability prioritization if you're using the time work mechanic to your advantage if you can do a rack saw and you can do charapak normal mode you could consider trying to go beyond 250 percent in rage hard mode that they are glacial it's more of an endurance test than anything else it's very similar to normal mode but it just requires you to be more consistent and somewhat keep an eye on your adrenaline in case you need to counter the frost cannon which now hits multiple times instead of only once like in normal mode just a brief little mention moving on to the experience section we have bosses that do require you to possess a sense of a general rotation and what certain mechanics can do to you and you have to pull off certain rotations consistently to get through the blood phase if you aren't experienced at pvm you're going to know to set that neck straight away because next will punish you by either not letting you get through the blood phase or killing you in the shadow or perhaps even the ice phase this boss unlike the other bosses mentioned requires adrenaline management ability prioritization and perhaps also you being able to make decisions on the fly in case you mess something up like for example again the blood phase which is arguably the hardest phase to get through because it requires good damage you will simply not get through the blood phase without good damage this boss requires experience but also requires high level gear because without it you're going to struggle think t90s and overloads at the minimum next up in the experience section you can consider to try all three elite dungeons solo so the temple of amanishi the dragon king lab and the shadow reef now i'm going to be honest there's a huge gap between trio and duo elite dungeons and solo league dungeons solo is far more difficult especially if we look at elite dungeon 3 or league dungeon 1. elite dungeon 2 in my opinion is the easiest dungeon but that you know is up for a debate elite dungeons have nine different bosses and they will test you on your skills in a variety of different ways but some things that are worth mentioning is that movement and grouping of enemies can be important as well outside of the bosses to speed up the amount of kills you get per hour which is fun especially if you're racing against the clock and it will also increase your profit power the bosses range in difficulty from slightly easier than a ranks or like the crashing leviathan for example which you can see on screen now to much harder than next with the ambassador if you're struggling with these i highly suggest looking up a video guide to help you learn or asking if a player can take you in a duo or trio group the expert section of this video includes two bosses specifically selected because they test your pvm capabilities consistently and constantly these bosses require you to have plenty of experience with the previously mentioned bosses at least most of them and their mechanics you have to be able to pull off switches flawlessly and quickly when needed and to an extent you need to count the auto attacks of these bosses as well if you want to have a better time because if you cannot predict the next special attack you're going to have a harder time it's not required to get a single kill but it definitely is if you want to consistently and easily get kills overall these bosses have very little room for error and examples of this could be getting swiped by raxa messing up and getting nuked p free of telos or getting instant killed in phase 5 of telos if you mess up at these bosses whether that's a special attack or an auto attack or something else you're prey flicking and messing up it's going to cost you but at the same time these expert bosses once mastered can be very doable especially if you use abilities like resonance and source bit flicking to your advantage and overall these two bosses are the ideal two bosses that get better at bossing with that being said that we've come to the end of this video if you're interested in learning any of these bosses i have guides for all of them except for raksha linked in the description below if you enjoyed the video i found it interesting leave a like down below and maybe if you consider subscribing and i'll catch you guys in the next one peace
