Fun fact: Robert Kennedy was killed during the recording sessions for this song, leading them to change the line from “I shouted out, who killed Kennedy?” to “I shouted out, who killed the Kennedys?” last minute. There is a great movie buy Jean Luc Godard that shows the stones throughout the entire process of recording this iconic song.

I had a high school English teacher that had us examine rock lyrics. This was one of the songs. This was the early 80's, so older teachers weren't really into that sort of thing, but this guy was cool. We did this song and "Landslide" from Fleetwood Mac, IIRC.
