were terrible it wasn't pretty screwed up they were terrible i did what i could with these shoes again we talked about the jordan jumpmans on the tongue i didn't want to just go ahead and wash the shoe and possibly scrub those off took me like two and a half days just cleaning up the soy using the dry suede kit eventually got it as best as i could you know i didn't want to overdo it still buttery soft i didn't dye the shoe either you know i didn't want to put red dye on the shoe to the point wearing a couple wears that guy's gonna start bleeding onto that white and stuff and just potentially making it worse than what is what it is right now right so we stayed away from all that just used some ink oil gave it a fresh mental repaint cleaned up the insides inside as well like again we didn't use any solution or water on the uppers so as we did but for the insides i scrubbed the insoles down for sure when i took out the insoles man there was so much debris inside bro like there was hair and just all types of stuff and i hate that i hate seeing a use shoe and i hate not being able to clean a shoe like putting it in the washing machine to get all that stuff fully washed out so i did my best got every single little piece of debris pubic hair everything inside fully out man everything's fully cleaned up insole's been scrubbed down got that footprint out of the way laces too bro laces have been re-waxed um originally they were pretty janked up i didn't want to replace them i wanted to keep the shoe as original as possible you know that re-waxed them took a little while but i think they look decent uh the foil bro the photo was tough that's crazy oil was the hardest part at all i had to go buy a soldering tool um that you could change the settings okay at 325 degrees bought some hot foil and just literally sat there and just started going at it this was tuesday and wednesday locked in all day just trying to get it done connor was with me shooting the video it was uh crunch time because we had to come out here and drop the shoes off right you already know i got sick last week so we had to make up for a lot of time tabs there was a big old scuffs on the inside from the guy just taking them off weird and putting them on all weird um the size tags they were pretty yellowed up as well so i put them under some uv rays got that yellowing out that's basically it man so these shoe trees definitely help with the overall shape you know how this you know they've been worn down so a lot of that shapes and kind of like squashed down the shoe trees kind of help just bring back its shape so again after after you wear them it is going to go back to that shape just what happened over all these years but the shoe trees should help you take good eighty percent you did good i'd say better than eighty percent yes we gotta bring the dead stock pair no don't bring the dead stock there i would say definitely better than eighty especially the way they looked before it was terrible it was terrible that's right was terrible like all of all of the foiling technique you did there was a lot of black spots on the on the scales areas well especially on the top right on the top especially man it was it was just straight up black the stains were heavy over here near the um the lace holes the edge of the tongue these are these are pretty bad man and what's crazy is in the video it didn't just doesn't show it yeah i know but you know in person like how bad they were they look super great they're great that's good yes test wearable
