[Music] one of the most outstanding Prophets in the history of the Bible whose experience is developed in the books of kings in the Old Testament. The life of the prophet Elijah is characterized by his sensitivity to the voice of God, his approach to him, his courage. his character to confront the kings who were turning away from God the figure of the prophet Elijah in the Bible is associated with a prophetic power and a direct connection with God that inspired fear and respect among the kings and leaders of his time Elijah stood out in a crucial moment in the history of Israel specifically during the reign of King Ahab and his wife Jezebel the prophet had the authority to order fire to come down from heaven to resurrect the dead like the case of the widow of Zarephath Even the parting of the waters of the River In two, despite his successes, Elijah's life also has difficult moments after receiving threats from Jezebel. Ahab's wife flees to the Desert where she experiences discouragement and emotional exhaustion in that lonely place. God reveals himself to him in a special way, not in the strong wind. the earthquake or the fire but in a peaceful whisper reaffirming his presence and direction in the life of the prophet [Music] it has just dawned today is not a normal day Elijah has risen very early to talk with God Behind him his inseparable servant his faithful disciple Elisha sees the prophet Elijah accelerating El Paso Elisha does not know it but he can discern it. He has learned enough about the voice of God that he was able to know the new order that his mentor had to fulfill. Elisha does not know if it was a nightmare or a revelation but something tells him that the person he admires most in the world will have an unusual experience something tells Elisha that his teacher has to go to heaven Elisha let's go to Gilgal these words caused great shock in the prophet Elisha his heart began to beat rapidly go to Gilgal It could imply that the abduction of the prophet Elijah took place in that place since that gilgal was known hundreds of years ago for being the habitation of those giants like the king of Bashan who are believed to be sons of the brave men of ancient times. While Elisha walks, he begins to remember those mysterious stories that since he was a child he was told about Gilgal, they told him about beings that were from another world With angelic but evil appearance And how these came to give birth to superhuman beings, these were also known as the giants of Rephaim and the Nephilim, children of those Rebel Angels. Arriving at Gilgal Elijah and Elisha approach the circle of stones. Also known as the circle of the giants, an immense wheel 156 m in diameter made with 42,000 rocks, seen from above, shows us five wheels in the shape of a whirlpool, these wheels would be the footprints of Some ship through which those watchmen entered this dimension to corrupt humanity written in Genesis 6 will this gigantic circle of stones have some relationship with the wheels described in the book of Ezekiel chapter [Music] Perhaps this monument is the reflection of some portal to another dimension through which those fallen angels entered and left this planet Elisha looks worried, he is attentive to any movement of his mentor Elías seems very concentrated waiting for the call from heaven every minute and every hour it is exasperating for Elisha he is willing to take strong Elijah to not let him go suddenly Elijah raises his head and says to Elisha, I beg you to stay here Jehovah sends me to Bethel with a broken heart Elisha does not accept the invitation to stay and tells Elijah live Jehovah and live your soul that I will not leave you. The time has come to rest. The next day they would have to leave for Bethel. Elisha has trouble sleeping. He knows what Bethel means and represents for a possible transfer of days. From there, Bethel means house of God and it was the patriarch Jacob who told him. He gave that name after a unique and special experience. The book of Genesis describes it like this and he arrived at a certain place and slept there because the sun had already set and he took some of the stones from that place and placed it at his head and lay down on it. That place and he dreamed And behold a ladder that was supported on the ground and its end touched the sky And behold angels of God ascending and And behold, the Lord was on top of it, and he said, I am the Lord, the God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac. The land on which you lie I will give to you and to your descendants. Your descendants will be like the dust of the earth and you will spread to the west to the east to the north and to the south and all the families of the earth will be blessed in you and in your Seed I am with you and I will keep you wherever you go and I will bring you back to this land Because I will not leave you until I have done what I have told you and Jacob woke up from his sleep and said surely the Lord is in this place and I did not know it And he was afraid and said how terrible this place is, it is nothing other than the house of God and Gate of Heaven Elisha understood that Bethel was a gate to heaven Just as Gilgal could have been a site for the abduction of Elijah, Bethel was still more propitious, it was a gate where Angels came and went from earth and heaven, in Bethel there was a portal that led directly to the abode of God that moved Elisha more without a doubt that the ideal place for the rapture of his would be from Bethel the door to heaven the time has come. Elijah arrives with Elisha at Bethel some young men who were in the distance call Elisha and tell him They say you know that Jehovah will take your lord from you today. He answers them by making signs with his fingers. Yes, I know, keep quiet. The disconsolate Elisha did not want Elijah to have the slightest suspicion that he, as a prophet, already knew of his departure to heaven. The young people and Elysians look at each other What is happening with Elijah? Will this be the moment of his departure? Everyone was waiting for the door to heaven to open. Everyone is imagining a very long staircase that would get lost in the Horizon just as Jacob saw it. Elijah stays there. He prays to God. And after a few hours the situation takes an unexpected turn. Elijah comes back to Elisha and says, Stay here now because Jehovah has sent me to Jericho. Elisha answers, "Live Jehovah and live your soul. I will leave for this moment Elisha knew that his mentor would go to heaven but he was confused in neither of the two previous places that seemed suitable for the transfer something had happened and Jericho did not seem like an option [Music] it only served for Elijah to say goodbye to the group of prophets that were in this place Elisha was resigned, still in sadness, he did not want to separate himself from his teacher, and the sons of the prophets of Jericho had confirmed to him that that would be the day of the rapture. Elijah seeks to hurry and says to Elisha, I beg you, stay here because Jehovah has sent me to the Jordan to which Elisha answers, live Jehovah and live your soul, I will not leave you, the crucial moment has arrived, the pulse of the prophet Elijah accelerates, it is an unprecedented experience that also brings a certain certainty, the stage is full. of expectation 50 men of the sons of the Prophets stood facing in the distance they do not want to miss this unique event Elijah is minutes away from knowing heaven without seeing death the same thing will happen to him that his ancestor Enoch will experience for himself that transformation that God has also promised Christians will experience in near times when Elisha who was going to the Jordan As if it were a key word, he knew that it was time to cross the Jordan it implied victory the commitment on the part of God with his people they both stand in front of the river And when Elijah takes his mantle, he folds it in two, something miraculous is about to happen. Elisha is nervous but is attentive, what would his mentor do? Elijah seems to transform. He is sure of what he has to do. The seconds seem to run faster, the emotions of his inseparable servant. Elisha crosses paths, he knows that he can no longer stop him, the prophet takes the mantle and Folded, he looks strong, he raises his hands and hits the waters with great force and as if they were divided by a sword, they see how the river is dividing into two parts. The young sons of the Prophets in the distance are astonished. They had never seen that a human being could part the waters. They had heard the story of Moses in the Red Sea or that of Joshua with the Ark of the Covenant and how precisely in those same waters they had walked on dry land with the entire people of Israel before conquering Canaan, the event was incredible. Who wouldn't pay to see something? So, without a doubt, the moment was unique. Elisha was amazed at the power of God and how he used his mentor Elijah. Each step into the river was on dry land. How was it possible that there was no mud or wet land? They walked and walked and Elisha's eyes They were amazed seeing those walls full of water as if they were inside a glass fountain today, but for them it was more natural because they perceived the texture of the water on the outside of that aquatic wall that had been formed. Elisha could only marvel at the great power of God. No mortal can be this. Only the creator of the universe, the one who formed the earth and everything that exists, the same one who created the laws of nature, at a time like this, that sadness and loneliness had become a tremendous joy, a joy never experienced. Meanwhile Elijah was seen almost transformed. The prophet Elijah is almost ecstatic. He is contemplating the glory of God. Some of the young people in the distance were on their knees and with great fear. Others gave glory to God. What happened would never be forgotten. They were also experiencing the power. of God the moment arrives when both Elijah and Elisha cross the Jordan River, being on the other side the waters close again as if nothing had happened, an indescribable peace begins to be breathed with tenderness and full of the power of God Elijah addresses the fascinated Elisha and he says ask him what you want me to do for you before I am taken from you Elisha was so full of joy that he says to him I pray that a double portion of your spirit be upon me the prophet Elijah knows that he has only seconds he is feeling As God is carrying him, he addresses his disciple and with a voice of authority tells him a difficult thing, you have asked if you would see me when I am taken from you, it will be done like this for you, but if not, no Although they are walking and talking, he is waiting, he knows that he has You have to pay close attention to each step of your teacher But what has happened What is that energy What is that light What was that wheel of fire in an eyelash The prophet Elijah has disappeared It was all so fast It was in an instant That multicolored Wheel looks like To the circular wheels of a mill itself the Hebrew word that is used in the second book of Kings chapter 2 verse 11 is reb and is used to refer to the part of the chariot wheels also that word is used in other verses to refer to the circle-shaped stones that the mills used, this event being so, so fast at a speed almost imperceptible to the human eye, what Elisha saw would be those wheels of fire similar to an extraterrestrial ship [Music] the event It was so immediate that Elisha managed to see Elijah being swallowed by a whirlpool in the heavens. It would be this Whirlwind in the manner of a dimensional portal. In those seconds that Elisha felt the Rapture of the prophet Elijah, his heart broke in two and the only thing he could do was fall on his knees and exclaim with a loud voice, my father, my father, chariot of Israel and his horsemen Elisha Looks down and is surprised are the clothes of the prophet Elijah and he was taken away without them What a unique event this was, what Elisha saw was something incredible, with the emptiness inside him and the pain of his master's departure, Elisha bends down and takes those clothes of the one who was his master for a long time as a sign of mourning, he breaks those clothes in two, the pain is intense, then he turned to bend down to lift the mantle of Elijah who also lay on the ground and walking back with tears in his eyes he hugged and squeezed the anointed mantle of one of the greatest prophets in the history of Israel Elisha comes back and feels the anointing of that double portion of the spirit of Elijah in every step he feels the power he feels the conviction there is a life in the afterlife there is an eternity offered by the author of the universe he was able to experience it firsthand he was able to see in the distance the door to heaven comes a new beginning for this renewed prophet Elisha sees the river Jordan lifts the mantle high and hits the waters Knowing what was going to happen he now possessed the anointing of his mentor again in an incredible way the river opens splitting into two parts walk walk walk And he feels the power and he feels the security of his salvation. Heaven has a door. He opens it. saw in heaven those who are saved by the grace of [Music] God rejoice. Elijah prayed and [Music] fire came. Elijah prayed and stopped the rain . and one day the rapture took him away and one day God moved him [Music] . It is written God says it in his word he promises to take him, just like Elijah to the church one day [Music] it is written God says it in his word He promises to take as well as Elijah to church one day
