Yep so our 18-watt charging is better yes but it does generate a good level of heat. Compared to the Realme x2 (Only above 20watt fast charging phone someone I know owns) generates a lot less heat then our v20 does. Now the reason our device creates so much heat is mainly because of the fact that we have a older power Control chip and older processer
Video is correct, I have never actually looked at the wattage of the charger, important value is current, for several years I use 2,1-2,4 A chargers (original is 1.6A), charges battery fully in few hours slightly warm but nothing out of the ordinary. Suggested capacity range is 20-80% to prolong the life, which is difficult with the stock battery, using higher capacity battery (4100Mah+) makes this range feasible still giving more than day of juice. In line with above ideal charger for V20 could be around 14W (18max).
