THE PEDDLER STEAKHOUSE Review in Gatlinburg Tennessee! 2021

yay wait we made it to the peddler again [Music] do so we're here actually an hour early yes and we got a hold of them on the phone you can start calling an hour before they open for call head seating so we got we got we were third in the queue and we got five o'clock call ahead seating on the river you mark that we're here and when they open and have everything ready they'll call for us over the pa all right awesome [Music] hey guys we're so excited we are at the peddler in gatlinburg this is one of our favorite places and we haven't been here in a long time we definitely haven't been here since the pandemic so it's been well over a year probably a year and a half two years since we've been here and it's hard to get into this place they don't open until five and you can start calling their number at four to get call head seating and so we finally got through and we have uh seats on the river a table on the river inside at five o'clock yeah it is um so hard to get in as a matter of fact last weekend we couldn't get in that's how busy it was but this is kind of our valentine's celebration meal now what you'll notice from this place is it is pricey and we know that it's probably out of a lot of people's budget it's actually out of our budget except for special occasions um that's all we haven't been here so long yeah we wanted to take you in show you a little bit so you can experience and see if maybe you would like to come we're right here on the river in gatlinburg tennessee you can see it there behind us but if you like these kind of adventures in east tennessee and good [Music] do [Music] one time mike planned anniversary dinner here and he caught ahead and if you call ahead like that and it's a special occasion when we got here they had a tablecloth on just the table beside the river that was ours and it seemed like there was a rose and candles i think a candle or flower so it was really sweet so let's take a look at this menu [Music] so [Music] so what are you gonna order i'm gonna order the marinated chicken it's a single chicken breast marinated in a sweet marinade over hickory charcoal and a baked potato well that sounds good and the bread here is butter is always really good and we love their salad bar here but because they're covered they're not having a salad bar so they just bring your salad to you then i am going to order the 12 ounce ribeye custom cut probably medium well baked potato it's going to be good too our salads came look at that that's how i was like what's your name they're proud and this is their good friend and then this creamed it tastes like real creamed butter it's good that bread is good so we're gonna dig in we're going to say our blessing thankful and then we're going to dig in right now tender bread okay food's here yes so this is my marinated chicken baked potato looks [Music] um [Music] hmm it's delicious i'm just going to go straight for the chicken first but also but also easy looks good too potato [Music] okay we got the christie's chocolate cake and it is delicious look at that i am pretty decorated [Music] all right this is of my favorite desserts of all times christy's chocolate cake here we go and then you top it off [Music] [Music] do [Music] [Music] well well well mike's in heaven that that was great you know i'm a meat potatoes and bread kind of guy yeah and you throw in a chocolate dessert like that so good so tell everybody how you how yours was so mine was really good the marinated chicken and baked potato and all the entrees come with the salad it felt really good yeah i had the 12 ounce rib eye cooked medium well baked potato and all the bread and butter you want that's my kind of meal the rib eye was cooked great it was a super flavor um very professional in there the service was really good super good yeah so we had a great time like i said this is most of the time out of our budget special occasion for our valentine's meal and we hope that you can come and experience it sometime also with your family you save up and hopefully you'll be able to do that because it is very well worth it okay so yours um how much did yours cost mine cost 22.99 and mine was 33.99 and then the chocolate cake which is well worth it and enough for almost four people um was 9.99 i mean it is christie's chocolate cake delicious and you know i was telling mike in there really even though it's pricey when you go to a nice restaurant that the entrees are pretty expensive i mean they're up there like the 15 17 18 19 20 something price range for a steak like mike got the salad doesn't even come with it no this is you have to get the salad on top of that and pay for it the prices were telling of course that didn't include my drink and then i had a coffee um so i don't think they charged us for the coffee just the softener but your drop pepsi was two dollars 250 or something like that so really it does include your sod and salad and like mike said all the bread and butter you want and so they really treat you well yeah so if you come let us know see if you like it we have a great experience we always have but remember our tastes are not yours and our budget's not yours yours may be much better but uh anyway and we can't come here all the time we were figuring i've spent at least a couple years since we've been here yep yeah but thanks for watching
