The owners sliced their dog | Crazy rescue Doodle

oh man he's really really safe this is Max he's a rescue doodle that is currently at my local Humane Society and today I am giving him a much needed makeover Max has zero manners when he came into my shop he was jumping all over me and when I would try to get him off of me he would bite my hands that's why I'm standing outside of the shower to get a feel for what his behavior will be like once I step inside he was an owner surrender and I doubt the owners did any kind of training or fulfillment with him I do believe Max would be a great dog with an owner who is willing to put in the work to train him keep watching to hear more about his story and he is currently available for adoption at the Niagara Falls Humane Society in Ontario okay buddy okay you gotta calm down all right you stink really really bad story good boy good boy good boy foreign he is a mess that water is absolutely filthy it's okay it's okay it's okay it's okay Max okay we're gonna get you clean oh he's he's a mess he stinks that water is black so I guess the owners tried to groom them at home the previous owners and they cut them so he had stitches and he that's why he couldn't come in right away because he had to recover from his stitches first you're soaking me man I'm soaked I am totally soaked I'm just bathing him first because he smelled so bad today okay good boy good boy good boy good boy [Music] good boy your face is really really matted that's gross good boy good boy okay buddy I gotta give you a good shampoo now so please don't jump all over me okay [Music] okay I need you to stay still please so I can scrub this in foreign [Music] maybe has ear infections because it really likes it when I'm rubbing his ears she have infections okay I don't think this dog has ever been professionally groomed relax relax you might not wear the happy hoodie no don't bite don't bite thank you [Music] here is where the previous owners tried to cut out some matting and they cut him pretty bad and he needed stitches he doesn't want me to look at it we're very very hyper okay buddy uh don't you dare bite me in the face no biting stay nope nope nope trying to help you nope oh my gosh okay it's totally beating me up right now hey Beat It good boy I can't see what I'm doing so I'm hoping for the best here his testicles are really really knotted oh you poor thing I'm not talking as much in this video because I also found that when I start talking he starts to get excited which is obviously difficult when you're trying to work on a dog it's okay good boy don't bite hey she really wants to naughty so his ears are matted and will have to be shaved I'm going to shave them in a 10. no so while he's on this side I'm going to shave him in a number four okay he smelled so bad you guys when he came in I can't even explain to you the difference in his smell right now so my guess is the owners try to trim him they cut him they realized they couldn't afford the vet bill to Stitch him up so they surrendered him to the Humane Society that's my guess of what happened the breeder apparently wanted this dog back so that she could breed him and that was a bit of a battle between the breeder and the Humane Society so another guess is that these people got this dog for free and signed a contract that he would be used for breeding and in exchange they'd get a free dog probably what happened okay he keeps sitting so I am going to put him in a belly band I know you don't like this and that this is all new to you but I promise it'll be okay [Music] it's not like having his feet touched that's for sure it's okay [Music] [Music] [Music] good boy stay nope don't fight no no [Music] you are trouble buddy you need a owner that's going to teach you some manners because you don't have very many of those he's really trying to bite now he does not like this this is the unfortunate part of people getting dogs like this that don't know how much training desensitizing how much money it's going to cost and then they end up basically ruining a perfectly good dog because retraining a dog that's already this age can be more difficult and understand that when you have a dog like this fighting you versus a puppy it's a lot more difficult not just for grooming but for everything I had a feeling these would be matted and they are okay no no no good boy no no good boy no stay good boy no this is going to be difficult nobody you gotta stay you gotta stay good boy you're a workout man you are an actual workout nope nope nope nope no okay while he is contained I'm going to just trim his ears because feeling he's going to move a lot stay so his ears really really need to be plucked really bad um I'm not going to pluck them today because I've shaved his ears and if I pluck them he's going to shake like crazy and because his ears are shaved they're going to slap up on the top of his head and cause blood blisters that can burst and get infected so this is something that needs to be taken care of at another time if I pull all of that hair out of his ears today it's going to cause irritation he needs to have a little bit pulled at a time over a period of time to get rid of all of it that's my personal recommendation other groomers might think otherwise but I just think that that's best for today stay so you see how he's shaking so much his ears feel weird he's gonna keep shaking keep shaking if I pluck his ears that's going to be even worse I see a hematoma already starting on the tip of this ear unfortunately hopefully if he stops shaking they won't get worse but if he continues shaking they'll get worse there's not really anything a groomer can do to stop that from happening when a dog's ears are matted stop putting my arm in your mouth I would like to finish this haircut on his face but I don't know that it's going to be reasonably possible because he keeps mouthing and he keeps moving and obviously using sharp objects on a dog's face when they won't stop moving can be difficult I'm going to try treats and see if that makes anything easier if not then this might be as good as it's going to get for Max today what you don't like it really no no no no no no no no no oh yeah so he has done to the best of my ability I can't finish his face because he is punching me in the face and trying to bite me so this is as good as it's going to get for
