The ONLY Moment Diana Was Happy In Marriage with Charles | The Celebritist

diana was happy with charles for only six weeks charles and i were very very close to each other's places we've ever ever been and never will have been everybody knows their marriage was hell but there was actually a time when they felt like a family when did this happen what was the reason for such a change and why did it go back to being a disaster again diana suffered a lot in the relationship she had a little hope that having kids might change something between william and harry being born it's total darkness i can't remember much i blotted it out in such pain being pregnant with will was difficult for diana it has been a quite a difficult pregnancy i hadn't been very well throughout it so by the time william arrived it was great relief because it was all peaceful again but before harry was born charles had a change of heart he and diana became very close anyway harry appeared by miracle charles and i were very very close to each other's successful places we've ever ever been and never will have been there was hope they'd stay close but everything changed immediately and then suddenly as harry was born it just went bang our marriage hopefully down the drain diana also suffered from postnatal depression it was not common for a royal to talk about this therefore she felt more alone than ever i was unwell with postnatal depression which no one ever discusses and you have to read about it afterwards and that in itself was a bit of a difficult time you'd wake up in the morning feeling you didn't want to get out of bed you felt misunderstood and just very very low in yourself and no one in the royal family ever supported her well maybe i was the first person ever to be in this family whoever had a depression or was ever openly tearful nobody ever helped me at all and the fact that charles was openly jealous made it worse everybody always said when you're in the car oh we're on the wrong side we want to see home don't want to see him and obviously he wasn't used to that nor was i he took it out on me he was jealous diana understood charles's reaction but was she able to change people's minds i understood the jealousy but i couldn't explain that i didn't ask for it i learned to be royal in one week i was thrown into deeper which now i prefer it that way the lack of support painted a picture of an unstable diana his diana's unstable and diana's um mentally imbalanced and unfortunately that seems to have stuck on and off over the years she was very very unhappy very depressed she had a doctor to talk to but she didn't have a say in choosing him dr mitchell came in every evening and i had to explain to him about my conversations with my husband during the day and there weren't many conversations more tears than anything else because on the outside people were saying i was giving my husband a hard time i was actually like a spoiled child and on top of all that charles had an affair i've come to the conclusion that really it would have been far easier to have had two wives to have covered both sides of the street and i could have walked down the middle directing the operation charles said it as a joke at that time but now that we know the truth it just sounds cruel and diana's reaction to it is painful to watch i was crying out for help but giving the wrong signals but i was actually crying out i wanted to get better in order to go forward and continue my duty and my role as wife mother princess at wales i didn't like myself i was ashamed i couldn't cope with the pressures when asked if she and charles are just too different diana said no i think we had a great deal of interest we both liked people both like country life both love children work in the cancer field work in hospices diana actually tried her hardest to make it work she never wanted to get divorced but my husband asked for separation and i supported it it was not your idea no not at all i come from a divorced backup background and i didn't want to go into that one again diana added that maybe it's for the best after all as both of them ran out of steam their marriage just wasn't meant to be but at least there was this small period when both of them were actually blissful together you
