The New Area Attracting People Tumfure Gombe State

there is a place in Northeastern Nigeria in Gom State we land has been an attraction or a magnet as it attracts people as they buy build and move to this place why is this so in this video we find the City because since we've been around we've been in this area and I know we've traveled to other local government to shoot content but we just want to see the other part of the city that is not that is different from what this is you know when we get there they would explain all we need to know about that [Music] place [Music] what's the name of this area you said again area no no where we're going to t t Frey okay so guys the name of the place we're going to is called Tom Frey and we they clear that here let me slow down a bit so you can see it they just like cleared it as if they have plans to build something yeah all right this is still J still so for those of you who are watching outside this country who right here okay who don't know the meaning of gr it means the government reserved area these are places that were actually in those days in the 60s or 50s I don't know I don't know when they created that t but that is where they actually created a place for themselves you know those in in the higher Mighty in those who are high are those who are higher Mighty in the society or who work in big government establishment they kind of live in places that are exclusive you know so they call them Gras government reserved area I'll take it right all right so that is what we have known him to be all our lives so some sometimes you know growing up in in in the 80s and all that somebody is from the gr you think you feel that oh the dad or their parents are well to do you know you that don't leave in the gr you are like oh the B of theet oh me I didn't grow up in the G please I grow up in in the city of KD no G stuff anyway we turned out well even we grew up in the ruged areas uh we still need the value of education so we went to school and uh we're doing what we love to do without being pressured into it it's not about money it's about what we love to do and that's what we're doing today you know so if you if you're not you're not too sure where we are we in Gom state in the capital city of Gom that's where we are right now uh we came to G State on our way to Adama uh the reason for this trip is to show that things are not the way people say it is and also to show the cultural um Heritage or whatever culture we find as we drive from a state to another we've been to B we've been to Plate State we've been to boui now we're here uh our friend Dave is taking us around taking us to a place today where can they call tfree so we've never been there we want to see what the place is about so that's where we are taking this [Music] ride here where we going straight it's to free from here it's to free so which direction are we going stra straight okay okay say this is Tom fre and this is mmpc Depot on our is it our right here okay all right okay all this area is called Tom fre reach Road Safety quarters okay all the way from that roundabout to Road Safety quarters is all T free okay like you were saying something off camera you saying that some people live all their lives and they don't come to town or something no like if if people there people move from inside town to this area this area wow so what's what what why is this place like this area special why do people I don't really because it's not as if the area is very it has that spacious land oh okay yeah even though not in front here inside you can like go find yourself walking farther from the from from this the main Ro okay I still find houses inside inside oh maybe we will take a drive inside somewhere and see what it is like right yeah the other question that comes to mind is is it because of cost this the market to market we just passed it you see mostly because of cost okay it's cheaper here here is cheaper for people for resent and they don't have to like pay for transportation to go inside town get something of like 500 okay and then they will pay 2 300 to inside okay they can get it here they can get it here it's just very close okay there no much stress so there's no additional uh cost trying to get to town to get something when you can get it here almost the same price or cheaper exactly all right is buying land here cheaper do you have an idea about that no no in this area this two three is it cheaper than buying land in the town yeah or it's cheaper the time I heard like I think about 50 by 100 was 100 150,000 okay yeah with time yeah you want to sell it it it will appreciate appreciate okay I guess that must be one of the reasons if Sher and is also entering the in the insides of kuy to see what T to see what is like inside there are fewest places business centers I wonder why anyway it's it's normal thing you find everywhere the major roads will be done all the inner roads will not be done you know sometimes that thing is just crazy I mean a a major road entering a place like this should actually be done yeah should actually be done look like theic work shop the trailer park trailer park okay the people who live who are the people that live in this area is it like um foreigners people came from other they indigen and all that [Music] [Music] I didn't think we have water issue here because I can see water that guy even ran uh a like a run something on the side of the um Zin or the roof to collect the water into the Tank tank how do in this place on how he do that wow that thing I know the most the most place I've seen it is down south you see it more down south because some of those places that's how they Channel their water the house in here not bad really good looking houses so do you still think now uh uh rent I say rent um okay before I go too far let me ask what about rents here what's the rent like do you [Music] sometimes 300 around 300 for a three bedroom okay and as a matter of fact everything always depends on how they finish the house how they finish the house whether the person put a b hole a well all this stuff the more def the more expensive it is okay now back to the question I wanted to ask which is now how much do you think land will be going for now I know you say you head just in your imagination what do you think the cost of land will be in this area now still won't be that expensive it what it will not be it will not be more than 50 for a 50 by 50 or 50 by 50 by right I know some of my viewers would like to know oh so do they get um a permit if you want to build you have to get a permit from the government or you just do your design and bu survey okay okay I I see that you have is it gois or gois gois yeah yeah oh okay instead of Ages yeah they have they have K is cadis cadis okay they all copied it from uja here which is good here as long as they're copying something good from each other is nice all right I think we've gone a bit keeps going okay it keep
