So the styling of the album, with it being centred around the singer and the band behind him, and the silver cladding on Jesse, really gives me David Bowie vibes. And this track guitar wise and beat with is quite his style, it's just the vocals that are quite different.

I also dig the theory high up in the YouTube comments that when he says he is married to his friends but stays together for the kids, that's referring to him wanting to leave potentially.
