The Most UNDERRATED! Character In Beyblade

King is the most underrated character in the entire Metal Fight Saga and it's not close but to understand why this is the case we're going to have to go through and analyze all of bro fights and appearances in Beyblade Metal Fury to get a better understanding of what exactly makes the character so special King in his first appearance much like his rival friend massamun is extremely polarizing due to how arrogant he is about his skill in terms of beyblading which he more than backs up during the Destroyer Dome Arc of the show as him in his Bay very area were shown clashing headon with massamun and his new Striker letting us know right away that this guy is definitely no slouch considering massamun despite being a huge fraud was still extremely strong in Metal Masters and could hang with top tier Bladers despite being on the losing end of most battles for plot sake however despite these showings at this point it's still unknown whether King is the legendary pler that Jena and his friends are looking for due to another extremely powerful blader named jigsaw also being present for King's first battle in the Destroyer Dome where he kind of presses is everyone battling with the special move for satellite which believe it or not actually helps add to King's reputation in portrayal as a character since in is second Destroyer Dome match he reveals that his varis is capable of using reverse rotation like El Drago and Gravity Destroyer which short of amps Kings and bar eris's power enabling them to literally on-shot the guy everyone actually thought was the Legendary Blader and that was only the beginning of the show that King was about to put on as he was still yet to deal with the remaining Bladers and the Destroyer Dum Orchid series at this point since when he does bro literally goes Super Saiyan and proceeds to also one- shot subasa you know the guy who was a top tier in Metal Masters himself with several impressive wins in the world championships yeah that guy got Smoked by King once he actually decided to go all out and use a special move also side note isn't subasa and Metal Fury so sad like bro imagine having to come to grips with the fact that you're not that guy anymore and like 10 can whoop your ass pretty easy and it's not even going to be fair just cuz you so happen not to to get a star fragment despite being a main character since Metal Fusion like bro they really did my man dirty but to get back to King and his introduction though things end off in a spectacular fashion as we're given a cool ass sequence where the Destroyer Dum literally rolls out of the Bay Arena and we're given some backstory on King where he reveals that despite being so strong that he couldn't even bay battle up to this point with the sole reason for this being the fact that the people back in his village literally took his Bay and forbid him from battling because he was too strong like bro I can't even make this up my was so strong that the adults in the village were just like yeah we're going to go ahead and just stop this before buddy starts blowing up like those kids in America but they couldn't hold sh boy down for long since King was around when a piece of the star fragment fell into the same ruins where he finds fairy ARS which she finds out had the exact same will to battle that he did prompting him to make the decision to dip to America for the Destroyer Dome tournament which leads us back into the present where mimun and King have one more Clash after King tells him he can finally give a battle his own all due to having found a rival he can do that with which prompts him and mamun to decide things with a clash of special moves and at the end we see King coming out Victorious while being declared as the Legendary Blader so like I already said bro had a 10 out of 10 character introduction SL debut my guy has a cool design a sick Beyblade with an awesome backstory and above all else he's really him when it comes to this beyblading since he knocks out three insanely strong wellestablished Bladers with just one hit of his brand new Beyblade and this is far from the last we see of King since he would also go on to participate in the baster Island tournament where he'd prove his skill even further by going head-to-head with auma another solar system Legendary Blader who even took down Kya and Jena earlier in the series that being said though none of this really mattered to King as he'd go on to completely embarrass auma with a smile on his face while telling him he had so much fun beating his ass showing us bro is the real deal and may even be on par with the likes of the affr mentioned Kya and shinka near the end of the series who also surpassed auma after their tag battle losses to him which is all but cemented for us when we see King go up against Ryuga where he not only hold his own better than early season chinka and Kya but he also even presses Ryuga who to this point hadn't had any trouble against a single opponent in Metal Fury however despite this impressive showing in battle king would still unfortunately lose to the Dragon Emperor in a back and forth fight but so does like everyone else so this isn't really an anti feat and just for proves white bro is him more than anything else also despite losing the tournament king would still go on to have some impressive Feats since after mimon is be in exposed to be a non- Legendary Blader Chris the actual Legendary Blader start to smack talk our boy and King will simply not having that to say the least which kicks off a huge battle chinka being the Good Samaritan that he is though tries to step in and stop King as they need to recruit Chris but again king is not having that and go Super Saiyan on these before proceeding to tell everyone in the stadium that they can all get it while laughing and talking about how fun it is to battle like bro is this Goku cuz he was really on some think I'm fighting to save the day but really I just like to fight type however the battle is later interrupted and stopped by Ryuga's greedy ass trying to take Chris's star fragment which causes him and the bad guys to flee after seeing how strong bro is which leads us into the end of the basar island AR where King has one more really good moment when he consoles mune about not being a Legendary Blader while telling him that that ain't nothing special and that real ones like to battle no matter what their title is which is just absolutely based and yet another reason why this man is so underrated as a character in my opinion that being said though this is kind of where King's development ends in the show as the only role he really played going forward was to back up the main cast against Nemesis which definitely wasn't aiting role for King if you ask me as he never stood out in any of the fights he had before the final battle nor did he battle another Legendary Blader leading up to it which is such a waste of one of the best most engaging characters in the show but with anime King covered I now want to talk about his manga counterpart who has a completely different backstory and portrayal than his anime self as not only is his personality a lot more dignified and Regal but there also isn't a single mention of King not being able to battle because he was too strong in fact King strength is pretty much his whole backstory in the manga since we're told he's actually famous for his incredible power and unbeaten record before going up against Jena in the ultimate Bladers tournament which I really wish we got to see in the anime too but oh well skipping ahead though we see the reason behind King's strength and Prodigy status is due to his Bay VAR ais's 12 different combinations of modes and rotation which makes it a truly Divine Bay that even shinka and Pegasus couldn't beat head on as they had to resort to a secret one-time special move which allows for a weaker Bay to win against a stronger one if pulled off properly and wouldn't should guess that this is exactly what the duo does to earn the win win despite his loss though the absolute Shad that is manga King rather than being upset instead cries tears of joy due to finally being defeated as he was still able to have the most fun he's ever had in a bay battle up to that point which I'm pretty sure is the foundation and basis to his anime counterpart unfortunately though just like his anime self our boy King is completely shafted once Nemesis arrives and is relegated to being part of the peanut gallery for the rest of the manga so what do I think of King well if I already haven't made it appear parent I think bro is easily the most underrated character in all of metal fight and he's definitely up there with my top three favorite characters in shinka Ray Yugi and Kya as he checks all of the same boxes as them in terms of what I look for in a Beyblade character or Shonen character in general which are awesome design good portrayal and an interesting personality that Services the story well and I think most of what I just said can also be applied to manga King though I do like his portrayal a bit less in that story but that's to be expected considering the bay plade Metal Fight manga like 10 volumes long and doesn't really have time to focus on and flesh out characters for more than a chapter let alone through multiple episodes and many arcs however for what it's worth I still think manga King is pretty cool and does well in his role of being a real obstacle to manga Jinga so I don't have any real complaints for how the manga handled King either also even though I haven't mentioned it much this video King's Bay very aish not only fits him perfectly but it's one of my favorite bays in this series in terms of design and lore since if you didn't know the bay is based on the God of War in Greek mythology Aries and also represents the planet Mars which is the name for Aries and Roman mythology matching King's passionate and wild personality to a te and when you think about it King controlling what is essentially the Beyblade God of War is also pretty fitting given how powerful he is in both of his portrayals in the Manga and Anime respectively Additionally the bay is said to be a prototype precursor to Julian's gravity pereus for Metal Masters which ties into the lore of the series really well in my opinion and gives a good explanation on why both Bays can rotate to the right and left even if it's kind of contrived we're also told by King that barrier like Galaxy Pegasus was sealed due to its immense power and that only he could control the bay due to it possessing the same will and desires as him to battle after having his previous Bay taken away which is just Chef's kiss in terms of attention to detail by the creators especially for a kid show so all I got to say is Bravo creators cuz King with his Bay fairy Aris is definitely the most underrated character in b blade
