The Most MISUSED Players in Blue Lock

all right uh what's going on everybody recently it has come to my attention that there are some characters in Blu that have been really really severely underutilized to the point where characters that had been established as being Heavy Hitters or at least someone that should be seen as formidable are kind of a joke right now whether it be falling to the Wayside to make room for other characters to Spotlight or just you know bad writing in general uh I have five characters specifically that we need to talk about because they have really really been done dirty before we get into that though I do at my list of misused characters in blue lock we have ikyo the security Tower of Japan someone said to rival is sagi's vision and basically be a defensive version of isagi someone who was competitive throughout all three stages of blue lock managing to secure himself a u20 spot Nico was looking like one of the most promising players heading into the NL but sadly uh we just didn't see any of that payoff he did get some moments in the Ubers or Bast and Munich match I mean we did see his metavision activate as well as stopping isagi a couple times but for the most part along with most of the Uber's Defenders one of which you may see later on in this video um he kind of just got on by isagi with little to no effort meaning that even more so than just losing the match Nico lost another battle to isagi making it 02 in is sagi's favor I don't know I feel like just giving Nico a little bit of a win would have been really good for his character right now but uh I guess not and uh speaking of the Uber defense uh next up we have Oliver aiku now this is going to be an interesting one because when I say Oliver aiku in this list some people are going to be like yo what the hell are you talking about but other people are going to be like thank you yes finally someone is talking about this because Oliver aiku if we take our minds back to the u20 match when he first encountered isagi yoii it was like the biggest threat that we had ever seen a a highlevel defender on the national scale who is bigger stronger faster it can read the field better than almost everybody that's how he was set up from the very beginning and it showed throughout the entirety of the u20 match he stopped basic basally everybody especially isagi who he kind of did manm Mark in a sense but I mainly just say that because he stopped isagi on like every advance that he tried except for you know the final play but that was already confirmed to be luck and going into The N he was the best defender that we knew of like period it wasn't even close so tell me why we get to the Ubers versus BAS Munich match and you pair the best defender we've seen so far give him metavision on top of that then pair him with a new gen 11 Defender who is even better than he is and they get three goals scored on them only only one of which was by a new gen 11 player that just makes no sense to me truly it makes no sense to me you can't tell me that Oliver aiku a player who on isagi not too long ago went into a system to a team a professional club that was better than the system that he was already in went through training unlocked metavision himself and was worse than isagi I I don't know I I just I don't buy that I I don't buy that Oliver IU horribly misused terribly terribly mistreated and I'm so sorry to see it I do love the fact that he has like the sixth highest bid in the NL bids right now but that's valuation bids it doesn't really mean much at the end of the day he's gotten scored on way too many times to be seen as like a high high level Defender even though he is like you know the second best defender we've seen in the series it's just like I I I don't know it's it's a mess rip I coup seriously oh baby uh this number three is going to be spicy give me mik Rio as the number three most misused player in all of block now this one is going to be even even more of a hot take than my IU one because when I say Rio a lot of you guys are going to be like no clamp that's just not true he hasn't been misused he's had a ton of screen time a ton a showing his biggest downfall is Nagi and while I will admit his biggest downfall is Nagi he has gotten done bad by the writing and the main reason that is is because Rio at least on paper should be the most dominant player that we've seen when he's using his copy we've seen him copy the likes of Ren and Sai who in their own right are like two of the highest level u20 players we've seen so far not to mention he in his own right is the most balanced overall player on any pitch he steps on he is literally the perfect all-around player to tell me how the perfect overall player who can copy almost anybody to 99% efficiency can level up in a system such as man shine City that levels up his physical specifically which is the one thing that he realistically would have needed to level up tell me how all of that work goes to nothing even if the whole Nagi thing is what's holding him back there's no way that every pass he sends is just to Nagi that just makes no sense for for him to literally only send the ball to Nagi if you're going to justify that with writing I guess I'm just going to have to deal with it but it just doesn't make sense to me and for that reason Rio has to be on this list when you're talking about misused characters moving on number two misused character uh I have Otoya now my boy Devon is actually really going to love me for this because he is the voice actor for Otoya I think some of you guys know that the English voice actor for Otoya shout out you brother but your guy has been severely severely misused since the u20 match a Toya before the u20 match was set up as one of the strongest players in all of blue lock managing to land himself in the top six within the third selection as well as getting a starting spot on the blue lock roster for the u20 match he was hyped up as being this ninja stealthy sort of player who can slice and dice behind people's visions and get in silently something that I think would have been a really good foil to the inevitable metav Vision that we did get that can see everything on the pitch having a player that is able to disappear from sight would be the perfect counter to that but obviously we're never going to see something like that because the one player we know who has that ability has already been showcased and he did absolutely nothing with it so yeah that that's that's really it there's not too much else to say about Otoya he was a character that had a lot of promise and potentially could have been given a lot to do but for some reason to flesh out other characters or just because maybe the writer forgot about him he just was thrown to the Wayside and someone who was once really really high up and high ranked and with a lot of danger and potential is now just one of the background characters who supports a main player and that is is really sad to see and uh finally um I don't even think we need a drum roll or any sort of buildup for this one but I'm just going to give us one anyway kunigami renuke number one this this one I don't think we really need to talk about it too much the literal perfect carbon copy of Noel Noah the world's number one ambidextrous stronger better uh sexier than everybody I guess you could say what do you mean by that I I truly don't understand how you have a player like kunigami like just in your story and he's not dominant he is literally a copy of the world's number one player they are the same thing body is the same thing like sure he doesn't have Noah's experience or IQ or just his overall ability but on paper their stats their physicals are the same there's no way that Noah himself can't nurture himself to becoming one of the better overall players but he chooses to focus on isi simply because he's the main character of the story that in and of itself makes no sense to me because how does Noah see a perfect carbon copy of himself and not think oh I'm going to make this guy the best striker in the world he's literally a carbon copy of me unless he either sees it as a threat or is basically trying to tell ego go yourself I'm not going to do what you want and nurture this demon that you like tortured to get to this point uh I I don't see a reason as to why kunigami isn't one of the most dominant players on the pitch and for that reason all we can say is I'm sorry kunigami you've truly been done dirty and you are easily the most misused character in
