THE MOST COMMON LOW ELO SUPPORT MISTAKES (AND HOW TO FIX THEM!) || Nautilus Coaching Season 10

hey guys what is up ioki here bringing you some more coaching sessions for season 10 if you guys if this is your first time at the channel my name is yogi I'm a multi season master to your player we're going to be coaching a player by the name of 90 fireball 90 who is a bronze to eun anata las' Leona player so this is perfect we're playing Nautilus virus into Tristana and looks so right off the bat guys I'm sure you guys can tell the first thing that he's doing wrong and this is going to be a recurring thing through not only this coaching session but through all the ways through all the sessions that I teach I teach a very very proactive style of League of Legends that's how you carry yourself as support you don't just sit around dilly-dally away for the carry to come to you and this is what this is you are arriving late to the game two players three players on your team arrived early and are able to proactively go out and secure vision you know if you all five of you were here you could stack and invade so that's the first thing I'm going to harp on you on is arrived to your game early every single time when you're on this side of the map you arrive early you go down here you Ward this and you stand here possibly here so you've got both entrances warded there is a zero percent chance you get invaded and your team team gets first blooded if you arrive to the game early but if you take forever and champ select Oryx re sitting in the fountain you know this was already the first mistake so and again I'm going to come back to that proactivity play style because that is genuinely how I have climbed every single season so another thing this is lesson number two guys you always want to be thinking about what is the worst case scenario so you arrive to the game late it happens you know sometimes our computers crash or our dogs are on fire or something it happens so what's the worst-case scenario though you guys have vision of this what's the worst-case scenario worst-case scenario is the other team was 5 stacked and they invaded and now they're here coming through here and are about to ambush you guys so you need to play at the cards that you were dealt right you were late right you relate what happens at the worst-case scenario all 5 team come around this corner and you guys get lucky you guys die here right you need to play at the cards that you were dealt you you arrived to the game late so you need to play accordingly and get vision I would be dropping a ward over this wall make sure you guys aren't getting cheese but uh it doesn't look like the enemy team is taking advantage of their invade so you guys are good nothing happens level 1 let's get into laning phase okay so this Nautilus very very strong level 1 you want to be starting nuke you starting your Q which you did you got relic shield good so far you want to be looking for picks level 1 Varis Nautilus beats Tristana lux level 1 look how far back she's playing she even knows it you put the fear of God in them you played Nautilus you have presence level 1 right here right here you want to be looking for this hook she's walking up toward punish her for it there you go baby there you go boom you got that you got that aftershock good stuff your virus wasn't quite in position to follow up but good that's good that you taking those trades also you want to be using your relic shield to push for level 2 walk up and hit these minions walk up and hit these minions there you go so lesson number 3 level 2 advantage for a chant I saw I looked I took a quick look through your o PGG looks like you played champions like Leona and Nautilus those two champions have very similar play styles and the most important part of the game for these champions is level to the level to power spike you want to be walking up know how many minions you need to hit level two and you need to be pressuring them you need to be up here when you hit level two so that when you're level two you're ready to hook them not back here so walk forward your ATC's ranged let him hit the last one to just be ready to to beat to go in in level two look we've wasted our level two it's a lot more difficult to catch a Tristana because level two she gets her jump but that's alright so so far proactively get into the game invade for-ward up in case they invade if you like personally I like invading every single game so if you can if you can ping your team and get them five stack you can invade yourself Nautilus is a great invader but show up to the game early proactively get vision level one aggro push from level two and then level 2 be ready to go in okay so she has no queue now she is absolutely no queue so what do you do she has no way of stopping you if you want to go in so here you go here you go look for picks right here another pick any time you can draw a direct line from you to a squishy target as Nautilus you want to be taking that you want to be thinking about the tools that they have to keep you off of them she just used it her queue is down for several more seconds this is when you should be looking for engages I like this maneuvering you're walking around the minion wave since Nautilus is different from Leona and that he can't engage through the minion wave but I'll take advantage of it here there you go you look for it there you go there you go good stuff preferably on luck since she can't reposition but it's all good I don't like that you're standing so far back I know that your health bar is low but they're not going to be able to kill you what you should be doing right now is one of two things keeping your level of aggression even with your ADC backing them up so that he doesn't get to v1 or take any bad trades you should be popping your potion which you are and you should be getting vision making sure you're not getting ganked you standing way back here is doing none of those things another cue boom the beautiful thing about Nautilus is that Lux is very cheeky right she's going up but she's been taking aggressive poke like that guess what you can wait for her to use her cue and your hook goes through it that cue will not stop you mid hook it's not like a thresher and a toe you can cue straight through that hook it will mean absolutely nothing to you so walk up let her try to do that again and hook her face also if you're going to be playing level two you've made two catches so far I I'm a big fan of getting a level 2 rather than W the W does no damage the e puts a slow on them it's going to be putting damage okay that I don't I don't believe that word is in the bush so be careful about that no it's just a Miss click what you can do what you should understand is when you Ward for things like this as this is gonna give you like two or three seconds vision right but guess what Shaco can do Shaco can go invisible well you want to be warding for Shaco is a little bit further out so walk up a little bit further over here ward over the wall here ward over the wall here maybe put it in the entrance this is gonna give you a much higher chance of seeing Shaco actually try to gank you this ward isn't really going to detect Shaco and give you enough time to actually react so when they're pushed under their turret like this they can't they can't react they can't rotate so let's say worst case scenario right we come over here we're trying to ward against the Shaco room or the the Shaco gank and we find Shaco and he starts fighting us worst case scenario you walk away right you hook the wall or you could just fight Shaco I mean honest is very strong early but it's not gonna be a 3v1 because they're pushed under their turret they have to continue csing this so you've got all the time in the world this is when you'd find time to do things like roam this is when you find time to do things like get deep vision this ward despite not even being in the bush it's gonna give you like one or two seconds of advance warning that's not really gonna be that much you can get a much much more valuable ward because Varis isn't an immediate threat right it's much harder to get these words when you're pushed under your turret but guess what they're pushed under their turret you've got like ten seconds of you can you can put your board wherever you want okay baris is caught this is not your fault but guess what it's your job to try to keep them from killing virus now so right there try to throw a hook at Tristana interrupts her jump she's gonna beat if she's smart she's jumping on on on virus there see it's your job its presence you need presence in the lane if Boris gets caught it's your job to try to save him if you get caught it's virus's fault to try to its verses job to try to save you okay EEE there we go the sooner you get the e off the better hooker hooker hooker hooker there you go you save virus good job buddy good job I would have liked to a seen an earlier hook a little bit of a preemptive knowledge knowing that tristana's going to jump because you can you can hook her out of her jump but I you did you did you did good you did a good job I don't think this is a necessary flash I think you're totally fine you got to be thinking about how many tools they actually have Lux's are already used to cue they don't have anymore CC and you've got you've got 268 health there's no way they're gonna do 268 health from when you're walking from here to here there's just absolutely no way Tristana doesn't have bombs so be a little more careful with using your summoners I also saw you wasted your flash but in instances I mean you wasted your ignite and instances like that it can sometimes to be totally fine to use your ignite like that to get them to back off to make them think you're trying to kill them just give them that little one-second hesitation of like oh man maybe I should back off of him so I don't I don't have any problem with the ignite but that was a wasted flash and flash is incredibly important on hardened gauge champions like Nautilus alright rough laning face so far rough laning base so far we see naught we see Nocturne in the river we're putting control word out good stuff good stuff what you can do here this is what you should be doing you know they have no vision here Lux is here Tristana is nowhere to be seen you walk around here you come out behind them Lux can't react to you being in the lane until she sees you wait she's good she's going to see you in like one second and immediately back up you see but if you would walked around you could be behind them right now you could be totally to to be doing this okay there's Lux is flash let's not bite off more than we can chew let's get out of here good route really really good route very good route that was great presence but um so you need to be thinking about the route that you take when you come back to Lane there's two routes you can take most people just do the totally basic walk back to lane show in Lane if you're smart though and especially since you've got early boots you've got a maneuverability advantage over them you need to be thinking other there's another lit there's another route you can take which is just straight to mid I use that route all the time people never expect a roaming support a support like Leona that backed with her varus to immediately go mid they always think that the only way that they can get ganked by the support is for them to walk through the river you can walk from found in street and submit and it gets them like 70% of the time another route is uh you've got this control ward here right walk here boom now you're behind them you got the element of surprise you've got a positional advantage on them but all things considered you survive your first gank that's totally fine we're walking forward we're walking forward we're looking for something not finding anything that's fine where are we where are we hook great job great shot man really good stuff I love this this is proactivity this is exactly what I was talking about see in my coaching sessions I'm not just going to point out the things that I think you're doing wrong or think things I think you should be doing different I want I want to emphasize the things you're doing correct so hold on to those things and replace the things you're doing incorrect this is really really good this is proactivity look you're communicating with your team you're pinging Nocturne almost gave up on the gang but you're like hey I think we've got something here you ping them and then you position forward you held on to an excellent opportunity for the hook boom you got it great job and then you immediately go to Dragon great job I don't want to see you use your hook like this though the hook is literally like 10 times more valuable look how long of a hook cooldown you two split your hook on what if we see Shaco like right here I was literally about to say think about the worst-case scenario your hook is on a 10 second cooldown and now shake goes here and how are you gonna catch him for the next 10 seconds you're not you're not you don't have you don't have mana you don't have a hook you can walk at him awkwardly but imagine if you hadn't used your hook there your hook is going to do what a hundred thirty damage - resistances so even less damage to the Dragon it's completely negligible it's pointless don't do that okay we can assume Shaco is coming for the steel boom there we go there we go all right we got it we got it I think you did pretty good there other than using your hook if a lot of times during my stream we'll be in even in high elo games like I won't be hitting the dragon or I won't be hitting the the Baron as leona because i've got either early in the game and i've got limited mane of resources and high cooldowns or I've got mobi boots now we're not at that stage of the game where you get mobi boots hopefully you buy mopey boots um but think about what's more valuable to have your mobiie boots and your hook and being able to turn and catch people in zone Shaco or a hundred damage on the Dragon which Nocturne will literally do in less than a second so think about that next time don't waste abilities and don't waste abilities on Dragon here we go got a cannon good job good job okay so I do want to talk about at this point in the game a little bit about runes so you are running the most popular build which is aftershock into inspiration second you know you've got your biscuits you've got cosmic insight that's fine I just want you to let you know there's alternatives to that there's an alternative that I use which is triumph legend tenacity gives you a little bit more tenacity since I'm not building Merc treads and also I just love triumph because Nautilus is a great team fighter you know you get one or two resets and it's like they can't kill you you're just continuously getting a health pack I just want to let you know that there's alternatives out there personally I go cosmic insight biscuits when I think it's gonna be a bad Lane this is not a bad Lane for you this is a kill Lane for you Nautilus and Leona kill a mobile squishy super super easily this includes a mobile a DC's this includes Lux brand Zyra just vel'koz champions like that if you hook them you should be able to kill them so personally I would have brought triumph legend tenacity but it's totally fine that you brought the runes that you brought there you go look at that look at that they're disrespecting good job unfortunate I think you did totally find their virus probably was just a little bit too far forward I think picks like that are totally fine and I think you'll still win this great job well the triumphs run and the triumphs run and okay you know what unfortunate unfortunate again I still submit that was a fine pick to make all right what you don't want to be doing here is pushing this way if you want to be immediately backing you're not gonna be okay the only time you should be pushing a wave is when you know that you can get it to touch the turret by pushing this wave all you're doing is denying your ad CCS and even more even more valuable experience look at all the CS that wasn't going to die if you didn't kill it Varis missed all of that and guess what you didn't make it touch the turret so what you need to understand is that if it touches the turret that's good that's the only time you should be touching the wave and pushing it when you want to be punishing the enemies for not being in Lane and for to basically do what you did to your own ATC is make them miss experience in CS but there's no way it's gonna touch the turret right so you shouldn't have pushed that also it's very important to understand that you want you basically be you want to be thinking that you want to be backing ASAP and you know you took a bad trade it was a two-for-one it's whatever walk into a bush and back because what you've done now is not only you denied your ad CCS experience but now you're leaving him in Lane alone against a Tristana that has a BF sword so now you've done something called stagger yourself watch how much time you're going to leave him alone completely alone in Lane 4 it's 8:56 look at all this time that was four that was about 40 seconds 40 seconds where Shaco could have ganked where he could have been to v1 where you know just all these bad things can happen there's going to be times when you can't help but stagger it like varis did die so he's going to be alone in lane for some time but by not immediately channeling your back you've just like added like 15 seconds to that and remember that worst-case scenario worst-case scenario it could he could have died again and then once again you're staggered and it's just a revolving door staggering that's what I mean when I say staggering is leaving Li staggering your backs not being at being out of sync with your ADC when you're in lane alone and he's alone in lane because at this stage of the game you can't do anything by yourself and he can't do anything by yourself so you're stuck together what do you like it or not alright level six Tristan has become a little bit of a problem Nautilus is much better at catching and killing champions like Lux but guess what she's pretty damn good at killing champions like Tristana - so right here I think VARs should be ulting her if he's not gonna do it you should be looking for a hook really nice try there you almost got her out of her jump keep looking for that keep looking for that think about the risk reward the risk when you go in the the worst case is that you missed the hook and it's on what 10 second cooldown something something like that the risk for her if she gets hooked as she should die all right again I want to see deeper wards it's my against champions like Shaco who are able to go over walls you want to be warding much deeper than this okay so this is actually a bad word that what you're doing right now is you're leaving you're leaving tryst virus alone and lane again Shaco is dead so there's actually no reason to even be warding all you're doing is needlessly endangering your ADC and look what's happened look what's happened will he die here hopefully not but worst-case scenario he could have there is no reason for you to leave him there you've already got it warded Shaco is dead there's literally nobody to ward against so that that's another really important thing is that I'm I don't see LOI lo players do I think I feel like they just ward because they feel like they need to be warding because they've been told that they need to ward and that's how you be a good player but the point of warding is to actually obtain information you already have all the access to information that this any ward will give you right now we see Katarina on the map which if you didn't you need to work on your awareness and Shaco is literally dead so who are you Warnecke warding against all right so let's see it looks like you're about to hard engage here all right so the hard engage didn't quite work out didn't quite work out I think we what will happen here oh we hard engaged when virus is uh he's he's pinned down by it by luck skew this was unfortunate but I've got a little bit of damage off now we just need to now we just need to respect we know that we're uh we're down are too hard engaged alts so now we just need to respect we need to know that they're not down there Ultimates they didn't use anything so wait until these are back up okay so they're off screen right now we don't know where they're at they're either right here or they're backing right there either actually backing which means you want to shove this as fast as possible or they're fake backing which means they're trying to get you to push the wave to them because they're a little afraid of you realistically they have no reason to be afraid of you so I would say they are actually backing so what you should be doing right now is shoving the wave shoving the wave press e in this big wave if you still wanted to it doesn't matter you want to get that to touch the turret as fast as possible and now back immediately back don't stay for plates plates plates is literally like sixty gold you want to back in scenarios like this because they're gonna be coming to lane you guys are very low on resources you have no alts you're down in summoners Varis has no mana you can't fight if you come or if they come so now what you've done is just completely lost tempo you you you needed to push that to the turret and back that is almost always the correct thing to do if the enemy team backs push it to the turret unless you've got some serious firepower and you have like a killer 2 and you've got a lot of 18 you can actually farm plates look look what you've done you've needlessly endangered yourself it looks like virus might die you guys are it you guys are both gonna die now so instead of backing you guys stuck around and you overstate this is this is a classic case of overstaying and look what happened your team has gotten slaughtered it's not necessarily your fault that your team is all piling in on this and it's but I mean it sort of is that was a 4-4-2 an incredibly negative trade and you've lost the dragon and it all stemmed from the fact that you guys didn't push it to the turret and back alright Merc treads this is this is somewhat of a play style I'm gonna let you know 90% of games you should be building mobi boots is Nautilus it's an incredibly strong rumor and your job on the team is to catch people looking at their team it's really just Lux and Katarina that you're building against as Merc treads and it's really most people don't even build Merc treads for the M R they build it for the tenacity so they have Jack's ton they have they have Lux binding and they have Shaco fear but like that's really not that much that's definitely not enough to be like building Merc treads for I would be building mobis here Moby's gives you just such a positional advantage if you had mobis you could you could outrun her you could walk along here and look for a catch here but since you have mercs you're roughly is you're roughly just as fast as her so a little bit of a preference mercs is not necessarily wrong but I want to I want to suggest to you that you build mobis everything like start building mobis every single game it's going to change the amount of opportunities that you have good pick good pick I got a question why didn't you dump your ultimate here this was a kill if you dumped your ultimate it looks like you guys got the kill eat anyways but uh yeah this is definitely a missplay of your your CC so what you want to be doing is boom drop the route II are immediately are or are the tristana that's what you want to do you want you want to be throwing all of your CC at or at once all in here you're an all-in champion and now you can be looking for the dive here there you go buddy there you go there you go look at that you guys you guys got destroyed in laning phase it doesn't matter it doesn't matter your Nautilus baby you are inherently useful you're tanky you do a ton of damage and you've most importantly you've got picks you've got pick potential good job good luck good dive all right we see sheikha the only reason I think you should stay for one more wave is because we see shake oh if we didn't see shake oh I would be saying you need to back here but you can't do anything more for this so go ahead and start channeling you're back immediately nope you're overstaying again you're overstaying again look you're down on resources you're not strong enough to dive you're endangering yourself by staying you lose so much like tot think about time time is like one of your most valuable resources not only in life but definitely in League of Legends you've lost your time by staying here and look what happened you guys got slaughtered again do you want to know why because even though you killed them you didn't actually get to spin your gold look they - so much dip more damage than you because they actually got to buy they have full health bars they have full mana bars they just bought items you can't fight you can't fight that's why when you kill them push it to turret and back remember that man I think that's gonna be the most important thing that you're gonna have to get from this lesson when you kill them push it to turret and back when you kill them push it to turret and back don't dilly-dally around-- alright present the B button no your overstaying again you haven't gotten to back also your ADC is not in range he's you you just made him miss more CS you made him miss more CS and more experience he missed two CS they're all right Tristana in lux they are roaming in correct decision to stay by yourself you're never going to take this turret by yourself and if you do that means you're spending way too much time pushing the turret luckily Shaco didn't just kill your ADC there this is a good pick this is a really good pick unfortunately it was a good pick that was backed up by Jack's all right we finally backed what we getting all right Zeke's Zeke's isn't too bad currently I'm recording this on patch 10.1 the metaphor Nautilus is to rush stopwatch but Zeke's is a really good item to Nautilus's like he's kind of like Leona you can build Zeke's Val stopwatch not stopwatch agar glowstone plate is what I meant gar go storm stone plate is the number one item for him no reason to not use the vision cone vision plant that we just walked by him shoot it one way shoot it somewhere gain information see we could have we maybe maybe could have seen the person that just dropped this word and then we would have more information about who we're up against we it's probably Shaco and Jax possibly looks we see kateri and on the map we see Tristana whoever dropped this ward I'm gonna let you in on a secret if you're fast enough look we've got a if you're fast enough you can click this word and it will tell you it will tell you it's by luck so you see that you can't see that because my camera is covering it if you're fast enough that you click this ward or if you have a control ward enemy team drops award it'll be up here in the top left look here next time you next time an enemy drops award in game click this and it'll say source lux and that's how you can get information without ever seeing the champion you can know who's uh who dropped the ward so that that's how you know you have more information about who's near who you're up against it's also a very very strange dragon call to try to be doing this typically shouldn't be trying to do objectives without your your your jungler also what do you doing man go mid go mid we need to be on top of these things you don't you need to rotate there you go there you go there you go get up in her face get up in her business you go good lock down on CAG good stuff good stuff there you go baby look at that you are inherently useful just by just by playing Nautilus it's got to be proactive I'm honestly seeing some pretty good pics from you okay you want to be front lining for your team though what are you doing why are you walking you don't want to be leaving fights away look your buddy just died cuz you left her you could have helped her there you need to stay in there you're you're the frontline man you're the first responder you're the person you're the you're the first to get there and the last to leave baby I once again press B you've pushed it as far as you can go go back I bet you got a ton of gold off of that you just got a three assist I believe but by over staying here what are you doing you thought about backing this is not something I would go in fioor is doomed you're you're not gonna be able to save her and you're possibly gonna die or have to blow your Flash here so work on your decision-making working because guess what fiora did she did the same thing you did she overstayed and this is what happens when you overstay as you get slaughtered because they all got to buy yep you had to blue your flash and you still might die oh nice ball hook away though there's like a max range wall hook while they are focusing you a lot on my stopwatch man you're stalling you're stalling you're stalling you stalled for a long time for as bad as this was they get caught out like that you did stuff for a long time but again this all stems from you over staying you win a fight you push it to their turrets or you push it as far as you can go and then you back you're not backing nearly as much you're basically staying out until you die all right we got a stake in that happens that happens well we building next guys okay this is very nitpicky but you know what I'm a nitpicky coach put this here there's areas of the pit if you put it anywhere but directly in front of the bear and put it right here between these two little pincers right put it right here that way it's going to see all the way out here and it's gonna see the entire pit if you put it here there's there's blind spots it's not gonna see here it may not reach all the way to the back of the pit but if you put it exactly where I showed you right in front of the Baron that is the ideal control Ward should never put you should never put it anywhere else okay here we go you want to be dropping your ultimate way way way sooner way sooner am i tripping or did you not use your ultimate yeah I'm not I'm not seen your ultimate your your ulti you get a ton of usage out of your ulti and fights like that if you can all someone in the back because you get multiple knock ups while that wasn't a fight that you took you know you that wasn't a fight that you picked but make sure you're actually contributing to it got to make the best of fights that your team picks sometimes rip this is why doing mobis is actually so so so valuable on Nautilus because you can get to these fights faster and you can usually be the one that's like determining them and picking them if you have mobis but since you're a top and you're so slow with Merc treads you're very slow to rotate and by the time you got there is already of that fight okay both junglers are dead we see Katerina flanking over here dinner quietly in that there you go buddy there you go hey good stuff I like I like how you made damn sure that Jax is gonna die before you started leaving because I've seen you leave fights a couple times too soon or like this fight over here you left that too soon and it cost your fiora there was literally no way Jax got out and you didn't leave until you made sure of that so good job clear this Ward out so let me let let me let you into a secret your W is something called an auto reset if you press alt all auto attack on a ward and then immediately press the W button he's going to auto attack and then W auto attack it's an auto reset so it's one one way to get out your pump out a little bit more damage a little bit faster and clear Ward's faster too so get used to that press Auto Attack and then press W Auto Attack and it comes out so much faster okay okay we see two over here we see Shaco flank and fiora this is probably a good fight but there carries all right you're you're in a bit of a pickle here because you see two carries that you can easily engage on you want to stall a little bit of time and then hard engage on Tristana press R on her press R on her press R on her press R on her you want you want to be getting CC off hooker hooker you're hesitating way too much the sooner you can get you can get a damage off or a CC on off on Katarina the better press R press R remember you want to interrupt her there you go there you go great job if you had done that so much sooner we need to get into that proactive mindset you're hesitating we need to proactively alter make make her poop or pants if you press R on Katarina you know what happens is the timer goes off on her head then she's like oh god and she knows she's got like two seconds before that thing knocks her up and she dies so she starts panic and she's like where can I go where can I go where can I go you waited so long you did eventually hooker but like why didn't you just immediately do it and if you're not confident in landing the hook press R you can't miss that I once again Auto W this is a little risky we saw Jax rotating down okay you did youdid back this time good job hopefully we grab some and you did buy stone plate good stuff let's see what we got yep we're buying a good amount of control wards I'm guessing this game is gonna rotate around a baron so it's good that you're buying control words okay okay okay here we go this could be a really good fight for us to be a really good fight make sure you make sure you get that that route on Tristana nevermind Katerina wait-wait-wait still good still good yeah yeah good stuff good stuff okay so think about Nautilus not remember what I said Nautilus and Leona play very similar roles they're hard engaged tanks right Leona is all about single target lockdown Nautilus is about multi target lockdown so what you want to do is you want to all people that are in the back so that you're all I know your alts down for this fight I'm just talking I'm talking in general you want to all people that's in the back line so that you knock up their front line and their back line you also want to go from target to target applying your route because you're Auto Attack it's not like you use your your route Auto Attack on Jax and then you don't get it one for another fight you can immediately also route Lux so I see that you root you you root him and it looks like you maybe route to Shaco clone but you want to be going from person to person throughout the fight applying your roof like you haven't put it on Katarina yet there you go great job all right they did a risky baron you guys uh you guys collapsed and punished him for it good stuff I do see a lot of good things you're doing i if you like you've got the basics of how to play Nautilus you just haven't quite like mastered like the actual play style you know how the champion operates you just haven't mastered like noticing when people are out of position or knowing when you need to be backing this was a little bit forced you don't have a full team with you also I don't even think you need to flash so look where your team is think think about where your team actually is and who is actually able to deal damage if you if you flash especially if you're flashing forward because Varis isn't going to flash forward to deal damage look how far away viruses fuer is rooted and look how far away viruses so one this isn't this is a completely wasted flash because you didn't need to flash you could you could have hooked her from that distance but to when your flash alting I like the pro activity right that's good that you're looking for pics like that aggressively but you need to be thinking how long are you actually going to lock them down for and is it going to be enough time for someone that's way back here or way back here and I'm sorry I called Camille few earlier or way game here you need to be spamming your team to get out of there this is this is how teams throw when they get barren you got the objective you're doing the correct thing but all you need you need to be like spam pinging don't be afraid to be the person that spam pings read pings on people's faces all right because look what's gonna happen to them you're not gonna be able to in that game they're never gonna win that fight back back press B bro pest press B I thought you're doing the right thing by getting out of there and pressing B when I take an in divide back here and press B reset you engage that hook or that that ulti is you can't miss it huge knock up eat it and I'll let you know something is that if people are building tenacity or happe tenacity in their runes knock ups aren't affected by tenacity so you can't really build tenacity against Nautilus's ultimate which is really really nice like no matter what they build that knock up is going to knock them up for the same is our next next dragon is Elder and side lanes and Baron we should we should basically never be stepping foot in mid so we're looking for a pic over here this would be a big pic if we if we got it down with with the Camille ship but it turned out in okay anyways and it looks like you guys get a single turret now we're getting out of here Mele nted this is this is kind of the stage of the game where it's just like int after nth after end all right remember you're a person down they got the Baron don't double down don't double down do not double down if you go in on this you'll probably lose the game nacht they've already got the Baron the objective is gone you've lost the fight there's no way you win a 2v5 and your junglers dead so don't go in on this all right we're going in on this we'll probably lose the game off this you might get a killer too but they're gonna get so much more so I changed my mind that's the most important that's the most important lesson you need to be learning here is to stop doubling down on lost fights get a better eye train yourself to understand what conditions a 1 in a loss fight look like and that's also that you know I do think that you're committing to lost fights too much there's been two or three and since it looks like three of your four deaths I've just been like you going in on like already lost fights but that's kind of an extension of you not buying mobis and you not like playing the role of Nautilus you should be the one that's picking these fights you're you notice that you're showing up to a lot of fights late and sometimes yeah they're bad fights that your teammates picked but like why are you showing up to these fights late why are you not finding these fights that's what Nautilus is for that that's what he does alright once again we're over staying we don't have minions I don't think you guys can in the game here yeah you got you guys are hard over staying unless unless they do just miraculously outplay them yeah this was an over safe heart hard over say the most obvious sign of an over stay is that like you're trying to end the game without minions unless they've got like fifty second death timers and you're super late in the game like super late in the game that's never gonna work alright so now they probably take elder you've got really late death timers they destroy Varis and Nocturne now you're fighting against elder probably lose the next fight this is this is basically uncomfortable like there's nothing you can do here you guys have already made the mistakes of overstaying so think of it this way think of it this way any death past the 30 minute stage of the game you should consider a loss if you die past 30 minutes you should consider a loss and that should train you to more vile evaluate this understand that if you die you're going to lose the game when you get this late into the game so I'm just gonna let this play out yeah they they slaughter you because they have elder and they walk it in this could have been you you you did a lot of good things I think you have a fundamental misunderstanding of what Nautilus is supposed to be doing he's not just a tank he's not just the guy that walks around brooding people he's supposed to be the one that catches people he has an amazing catch with this hook in his ultimate so the fact that there is maybe one fight that you actually started in this entire game shows me that you're not really playing him right and I think that's going to start with you building mobi boots so that's the best bit of information I can impart onto you is start building mobi boots and be looking for the engage be looking to be the one that proactively starts these fights because this game was lost entirely because of you committing to fights that were already lost so number one by mobis and be the person that actually actively looks and finds and starts the fights and number two cut ties with in with your allies when they are obviously ending so train yourself to have a better eye and better understanding of what a lost fight looks like and don't dog pile onto it because that's how you lose games ninety fireball 90 I hope
