The Most Amazing Class A Coachmen Ive Ever Seen!

hey everyone i'm matt welcome back to another video today i am super excited we're taking a look at one of the newest brands from coachman and i think it's one of the best class a gas motorhomes to full time timing this is the 2021 coachman encore model 355ds we are going to take a look at the outside features first then the inside features ben we're going to give you three things we love about this motorhome and three things we dislike about it we're starting in three two one hey everyone again welcome back to another video my name is matt from matt's rv reviews it's the world's only channel giving you the true and biased review about everything when it comes to rvs and again today i am super excited to be taking a look at this brand new brand and this brand new floor plan from coachman but before i begin i would like to say hi to andrea hey andrea hi everybody how's it going it's going good you know i get super excited whenever we do new floor plans new new i like new yes i like new and i just like to be surprised yes me too let's begin model is 355 ds but the actual tip to tip length of this motorhome is 36 feet 10 inches this is the coachman encore it is a step above a morata but a step below the murata select which they have now discontinued but i think it looks absolutely fantastic andre it's giving you all those upper echelon features while still keeping the price affordable look at the headlights i think it looks good i like the encore i like the grill it reminds me a lot like a gmc denali grill and i just think it looks fantastic coming down the side here we do have these nice chrome mirrors left side and right side and then right here we do have the cameras on the left side right side also reverse because of the brand new 2021 it does have the ford v8 it is the 7.3 liter godzilla engine 350 horsepower [Laughter] and 468 foot-pounds torque i love that there's so much wrong with you in so many ways yes now what makes this a step above a mirada is the tires look at this it's the uh look they're the michelins 235-80r 22.5 with the shiny alcoa rims so if you really like the murata but you wanted the better ride this is the unit for you also check this out this is what you call partial body paint not full body paint so it gives it a full body paint look without the full body paint price but full body paint is an option we do have a nice power awning with led lights let's take a look at that when it's all the way out i like the pattern underneath of it yes it looks good now because this is the cosmic motorhome they do use the asdale sidewall composite which is the green based material that will never delaminate on you oh there's your 2000 watt inverter yes now what is the difference between this the murata select the murata select had aluminum slam latch doors this one's still this one's fiberglass so it helps keep the price point down but oh at least they're slammed stores except this one you know why this one it has the propane yes ma'am here's your propane tank we'll have tank sizes lengths with specs everything about this motorhome in the description below also right here for everybody to watch on television and then right here we have a jensen tv and then right here storage yes ma'am okay coming down the side we do have a power outlet right here seems silly look what they did they put it where the decal is so it blends in better right i like that propane quick connect right there if you want to have an exterior grill and then check out that storage wow very nice oh snap and look at this what the awning actually has speakers in it oh very nice cool and then right here is just more storage and it is pass through oh that's good coming around the back we have a rear fiberglass cap i love that right down here well right here is your fuel fill up in the rear i like that because you get to on both sides back up camera there and then wow 8 000 pound hitch now check it out it's 8 000 pound hitch but it's 500 pounds of vertical weight that means um if if you're towing something that's 6 000 pounds if it has 600 pounds of tongue weight you cannot safely tow that make sure you always check your towing specs and capabilities with somebody at general rv before you tow anything safety first everybody safety first and we do have a one-piece fiberglass roof on treyarch let's go up there and take a look matt did you stretch this morning whoa you know it here we go now hold on now if it's wet up there you can't walk on it all right up here on the roof you can see it's a nice one-piece fiberglass roof we have not one but two air conditioning units i love that right there's your king air digital antenna oh and right here we do have a solar panel that is already on the roof hold on take your time here we go now slow slow i can hear your sneakers squeaking here we go now one more one more great and if you haven't already make sure you smash that thumbs up buying one of the rv salesman's gold taking fat ass up on the roof show you what features this roof has to offer nobody nobody because nobody's that crazy finishing up with driver side it's the other side of that nice storage 50 amp power cord right here okay transfer switch box look at that okay look at that water heater again little things like that i really love and appreciate oh beautiful clean nice wet bay very organized very precise very clean and i love that and then what's this generator yep here's your common zone in 5500 generator and then there's more storage and right there you can get a good angle of your auto leveling jacks awesome well andrea the outside of this motorhome looks great but trust me the inside looks even better let's go take a look i can't wait to see this now matt grab the cargo carrying capacity cargo carrying capacity 3058 pounds wow okay here we go guys now match i'm gonna have you hold this real quick while i walk through okay look look at this slides are in plenty of space to get through let me have that and then we will walk to the bathroom which is where is the bathroom oh here it is very nice and as you can see the bed oh yes oh yeah it is still accessible thank goodness with the slide in great now while the slide outs are coming out i have a huge favor to ask everyone if you could please leave down the comments below let us know three things started up front up front here in the cockpit area again this is the new ford v8 engine right we got your modern steering wheel right here your gauges tells you outside temperature tells you how many miles per gallon how many miles to empty you know really really nice high-tech you got your auto leveling right here everything's at the push of a button and then look at this screen sirius xm radio apple carplay android auto camera usb and bluetooth very nice very awesome feature and andrea you want to sit my co-captain seat of course all right very nice comfortable i i love that it has this lift up ah there we go very awesome usbs in here yep um i do see that we have a privacy curtain looks like there's a privacy shade here yep with daytime yep daytime shades as well uh-huh very very nice seats do swivel yep and then there's the curtains that go all the way around and then we do have some storage above the bed i did notice wait a minute oh i forgot the cabinets oh my goodness very nice and you have a bunk over the cab yep let me show you that one it's all the way down maybe the engine has to be off for this one oh it's on it sure does good eye andre yeah they're all different now matt i don't see a max weight uh it's 500 pounds no no no oh my god it's only 300 pounds 300 oh wow okay it does come down a little bit more but yeah 300 pounds for the bunk over the cab i noticed something way different in here matt what's that the tv what about it um it's there and there's no window there right right the t so in the living room right here we have a nice tri-fold sofa i love it you got your cup holders on the side this does come out and make an adult-sized bed for adult-sized guests i love it i love the color i love i like the two colors yeah so andre it didn't like the two colors at first they weren't that color right because it was light and brown but it looks good but i like the light and silver i think it looks good i like it with the stitching we do have our windows here for privacy and the balances are actually cute you guys yep and then as andrea says the tv's right here with the sound bar no televator no window but it's okay because this is directly across from the theater seats right here oh they're power matt yep oh yeah this is living it up also something i noticed look how bright it feels in here how refreshing it feels do you know why there's a third led light bro and i'm telling you call me crazy for that third led light really maximize the light because all the blinds are closed right they're all closed and it still makes it feel bright and airy we got your cabinetry above okay nice knot in the tree again it's not hidden hinge cabinetry and little things like that the fiberglass doors outside the not hidden hinge cabinetry it helps keep the price down but then you have the big 22.5 inch tires and everything which gets the quality up so really nice and then over here is the dinette we do have cushions underneath or um drawers and that dinette does drop down to make a bed it sure does and again fcv blinds all the way around and how do you like that light fixture andrea honestly yeah i don't like it oh okay why like you asked and you have the things right there it's neat but it's just too shiny it's too busy i like shiny ooh very nice and there's a tv right there yep this one never made much sense but this is if you're having a gathering and people are sitting there and right and everything good point and i do like the floor in here yep it looks great especially with the color scheme that they picked in here shade nope i gotta open this tug down yeah i'm just gonna reach it it's like really in there there we go oh gotta see the window yes cabinetry here uh-huh very nice very i love all this counter space solid surface countertop beautiful it looks good what what what would you call this pattern uh i don't know distressed or something lightning no no but it looks like a marble has a little marble look in it we have three drawers here oh soft oh we love soft clothes fancy fancy and i do see that they give you a farmhouse sink which i absolutely love very big very nice it does have an extension on it here yep i love that panoramic window absolutely okay everyone we have cabinets underneath for a little trash can we have more drawers here three of them yes and we have the tower of power hey that's tower power look at this lg yeah convection microwave wow look how big that is as well looks nice actually that's insane i love this sleek look what about the backsplash it's okay you know what it's okay i love it it's cute it's cute i just it's cute i just wish maybe they didn't do this dark brown in it that's all but it is cute and we got a three burner cooktop with glass cover yeah think i don't know you matt we got a nice cabinet here does the magic chef light up and magic chef all right we have a residential refrigerator that runs a slimmer residential refrigerator lg lg runs off your inverter life's good oh it has an ice maker oh slimmer it's gonna be easier to come in and out of the door pantry yup oh they gave you drawers here and those are also soft clothes yeah i love that i love it too and then check that out this is pantry space slash prepped andrea for a stackable washer dryer stackable i know stackable that's amazing let's check out this off bathroom pocket door on the balcony i do like the pocket door okay look at the shower good size not a big shower no not a huge shower there's a lot of small shower this is just a really good shower i like it i like the glass door here very nice very smooth andre check out the medicine cabinets above there we have a cabinetry up here with the shelf yes ma'am and another one here uh huh it's pretty good got a mirror here nice sink i like how they put this over here yep and another cabinet there yep and then we got some shelves back there uh-huh now he's downtown for the toilet test andre it looks good oh yeah yeah yeah yeah no doubt about it it's not it's uh no doubt about her it is comfortable it's a great height for me andrea this is a prime pooping position that's great i love it i already knew it was going to be when i seen it finishing up in the bedroom we do have a king-sized bed i want to point out how wide that walkway is into the bedroom it does have a pocket door yep very great point great observation you got the wardrobe here how many drawers there matt four oh wow soft clothes yes storage behind the television right there then we also have two more drawers little desk little look behind you hey you know what that is no art deco no we haven't had art deco in a long time look i i want to point out the walkway here yeah how you have plenty of room right here when this slides out nice king side oh oh i didn't even know it had this wow dude i swear i thought this i knew this had this but i forgot about it that is so cool this is great so you have your cup all your your shoes go right there it's a great place to get changed oh yeah and look matt there's drawers under there man this is so how you utilize space and our soft clothes still so cool fantastic i totally got we do have cabinetry there more space yep more space and then this is for your cpap yep coachman cpap and matt you know what they did a great job on their night stands over here yeah if you want to step back so i can show that um look at this you guys they have electrical outlet and usb and i love that they gave you that much room a lot of times you only see a tiny little spot yep for sure that's great it is great andre and as great as it is and i'm telling you as much as i like this motorhome it's now time we give everybody three things we love about this motorhome and three things we dislike about it andrea what do we do first three things we like about it i mean sorry three things we dislike about it perfect perfect all right i'm gonna go first ah now this one's for me this is a personal dislike here folks for me to put this awning out the buttons all the way up there and it's weird it's kind of at a weird angle i had to like stand here like this right and hold it fall or step and it's just weird and i don't like it and if you're six foot tall or whatever you're not going to have an issue but for me i don't like standing here like this i don't like being over here i honestly should have put it over here with the other right yeah literally like here's the awning light button it would have been perfect right there i don't know why in the awning i mean it's still coming in right now as we speak so you gotta like stand here for 30 seconds and i know it's not long but it is long when you're holding a button over a stairwell yes absolutely so that's one okay two i i never pick at this but i'm gonna pick at that bunk over the cab okay 300 pounds you know at least make it 350. i mean that's crazy that it's 300 no i mean yeah it's that's i don't know i don't know what's going on there you know with it's no 350 is not going to cut it either i know but i mean if they have to keep it down creditors are putting 500 600 750 right and you should be able 500 should be the middle especially with how big it is now if it was a single then then that'd be it and then number three you ready yes in the new ford v8 engines they're supposed to have a smaller doghouse i don't know what they did here but this dog house definitely feels elevated and bigger you know what i'm saying it does and you have to kind of really step over it right i don't notice it there i don't understand what happened you know like i'm you know stand fly but um i i just don't understand like why we have to step over it that much but it's all good well andrea that's three things we dislike about this motorhome got that out of the way now it's time for three things we love about this motorhome andrea you go first oh of course you know what i'm gonna go to right what's that yes this this this is so great i'm so excited about this you guys having this as an option under your bed why can't they all do it yep this is fabulous look i mean get changed right now you totally can i could stick my shoes in there yup i have drawers here i can sit down you have a mirror no more sitting at the bed being crowded right trying to trying to like fit in that tight space there i love it so talking about wide open spaces i'm going to this is my number two well i'm gonna combo it because i'm right here my number two is this corridor of the motorhome i love the fact that you can get a stackable washer dryer a lot of a lot of class a's you can get washer dryers but they're combos but the fact you get stackable and something else that andre pointed out that you don't see very often look how big this doorway is it is a lot of times you'll have this little doorway and it makes the bedroom feel cramped right the big doorway it's a big aisle a big walkway like watch us walk this way look look we can do that there's so much room in here with the slides out it's so in the double slide outs it's huge awesome and nice and i love that and i'm getting a triple combo just a big slide out from the big room so that's two and then andre do you have a third i do unless you want to go i kind of want to go no but i'll combo it with yours i like the colors in here i like the interior colors i think they did a good job on the furniture what about the balances um the balances are actually cute yeah i think they're cute you know and and um what's it called it's first first place second place and third place and what's that fourth place called special recognition or whatever yes no but there's like a name for it um yeah it's like a oh gosh i can't think of it right now but you know what i'm saying right yeah i do want to give some special recognition to that wet bay as well yes that was a beautiful weapon you know just it did make the top three favorites but honorable recognition no no no leave down the comments below let an honorable mention honorable mention yep to the uh outdoor wet bay it was really nice but i knew andrea was going to say the way it looks in here with the colors and i must concur and let me tell you this folks this is not the white farmhouse right but the way they did their rounds and the way they did they're still refreshing it still
