Just wanted to say that I donβt actually think Johnson sold his soul (because I donβt believe in the supernatural) but I posted this cause Iβve always found this narrative fascinating.
He's white-white as you folks, with mirrors for eyes an' a big hollow voice an' allus travels with a mean old hound.
That was a great movie. Or at least a good movie with a great soundtrack
always dug this legend. He does play extremely fast.
Supernatural covered this in an early episode, and it was done well.
He managed to emote with the guitar better than anyone at the time, this came from the pain and his life.
The other reason people thought he made a deal with the devil, his life was a series of unfortunate events, so this began well before he recorded his only album.
That's how Dethklok did it.
Obviously this legend inspired to the episode.
There's a film based on the story. Crossroads with Ralph Machio 1986. Worth a watch.
he was gone for 2 years. if he was playing everyday hardcore he could easily improve leaps and bounds....with the help of the devil
I wonder if he managed to get someone to pay for his lessons like Roger did
the original for reference
