for broken ears is really about trying to bring healing to the minds of people through their ears hi it's thames i'm a singer songwriter and producer and i'm going to be breaking down my song iced tea finally so iced tea specifically i'm actually produced iced tea raw iced tea before mr rebel it's one of my oldest songs and i basically started with chords on the piano [Music] and then i started making the beat so i started with the cakes i used this wonder kick it's by wonder girl you know [Music] i engineered it and i changed it just to make it harder and then i went ahead to add the [Music] claps so now we're going to go move to the chorus side where i added this base [Music] and then when i add all the drums together i get this and then i added some samples so i always have like what i say is the incantations that i say i did this thing for the chorus and then i pitched it up and it sounds like this and then i also added this does this so i added this thing as well as also me it's just me saying when i add everything this is how it sounds like [Music] [Music] and songwriting those parts are very easy i usually just freestyle most of my songs come from a freestyle that's how i get the emotions um pure it's like it's like a hundred percent raw i like samples um so i just vibe and i just add stuff so this was one of them [Music] and this this particular part is for when i'm like just vibing at the end when i'm like you know you're really going mine and then it's like you know you're really going man but this is also this is also playing at the back it just gives it like a a vibe so let's hear how it sounds like with that and then the beat drops you know you're really going mine you know you really got in my mind you know you're really going my mind so let me help you squeeze i ain't like you're watching me i know you bugging me yeah you want it baby [Music] we go to this sample which is also me just being like let me just play it for you so let's hear it with everything i said it's raspberry blueberry with your lemons raspberry blueberry lemon said it's raspberry blueberry with your lemons and raspberry blueberry lemons okay and the last this is this is my favorite sample in all the samples i did on this song this is the original sample ginger and vanilla ginger and vanilla honey in the center honey in the center dinner and vanilla ginger and vanilla then what i did was pitch it down so i put it to the lowest possible thing that didn't sound weird and this is what you get ginger and vanilla ginger and vanilla on me in the center on me i really like it because it's like it's like darth vader suddenly appeared in the song and he's like what's up so that my friends is how i made iced tea and this is the final product [Music] yes i've been running nights i'm coming up turning up and down and i'm calming down i be falling for your mind running in i be fighting for your time right i know it's fine i know it's good damn i know you're mine you know it too fine i might be wrong but i don't care i your day my own just been on there just been under waiting for you to come here and be understating right my way right my way would you ride my mind cause i've been giving you my time and i make i t and i make it wiggin yeah flaws and now i'll be the one you run to and i'll be for you i know i know tell me what you want i'll be going in find a final lane and i make icy and i make it with your lemons yeah yes um so yeah that's iced tea um for making i hope you enjoyed this this has been personally fun for me go listen to iced tea go listen to iced tea it's bomb
