congratulations Chargers fans you got exactly what the doctor ordered the brightest Hollywood lights are about to shine on that team the Chargers agreed to terms on Wednesday with Jim Harbaugh on a 5-year contract to make him their new head coach after several long disappointing and miserable years for their fans the LA Chargers decided to craft a genius plan with only one thought on their mind to put the entire NFL on notice if you follow the NFL you are surely familiar with the name Jim Harbaugh a football Mastermind who transformed every organization he coached into a winning one and one very peculiar man I'm attacking it with an enthusiasm unknown to mankind let's go those helpful Warriors Mighty Men you hungry you want to eat I mean this is this an all you can eat buffet I play as long as I can then Coach Bai faith family and football who could possibly have it better than you two although Jim is famous for his har isms he is even more famous for his tough coaching insane work ethic and ability to transform any team into a championship caliber Squad something that the Chargers desperately needed nuts I I wouldn't I wouldn't describe uh as that just look at his resume during his stint with the 49ers from 2011 to 2014 before bringing Jim Harbaugh as the new head coach the 49ers were one of the worst teams in the NFL during those four years Jim hauled a 44 191 record in regular season games got to get it into the end zone that's crap tree and he does Kaepernick C threee for the touchdown who's got it better than us who's got it better than us nobody Harbaugh's 70% winning percentage ranks fifth alltime among NFL head coaches during his time the 49ers reached the NFC championship game three times and played in one super Bowl which he unfortunately lost to his older brother John it was the time of my life those four years to be in that that situation that position at that time and for everybody to do so well and was just tremendous to be a part of and what happened after he left San Francisco he became the head coach of the Michigan Wolverines leading them to a national title in 2023 the first since 1997 and what type of a person wins wherever he goes he's competitive and he's curious and he he's going to ask questions and he's going to challenge but that's what leaders do and he's going to win yeah and he's going to win but that's what leaders do they're trying to get the best out of everybody and that's what he does and I'm fired up about it fun wonderful wonderful wonderful so how do you turn an organization around bring in a man who will change its culture and knows how to win he is the kind of guy that's really going to dissect and get into the training room and the weight room habits that's what he's famous for Michigan was kind of a mess before he got there that's what he did 49ers were a mess before he got there that's what he did and this is his master plan step one culture change if there is is one word to describe Jim Harbaugh's coaching it would be physicality he has been called a field general for a reason and he always demands his players to play a physical style of football running play shanet try to get to the edge and does chanet trucks him in you could ask how a simple thing like physicality changes the culture well it can over the last few years the Chargers ranked amongst the last in the NFL in stopping the run to be frank they were Terri able on defense all together and how do you stop the run by playing with physicality a fourth down and goal can running in Freeman to the outside no on the other note the Chargers struggled to stay healthy and were riddled with injuries over the last couple of Seasons the lack of health and toughness to call it that is why the bolts were unable to close games and always fell apart in the fourth quarter at some point it's not bad luck it's bad training bad flexibility bad nutrition bad whatever so the first thing Jim did once he became the Chargers head coach he hired Ben Herbert as the Director of player performance and for those of you who don't know who Ben Herbert is he is one of the best strength and conditioning coaches in the game when it's time to compete you ready to compete don't matter what the challenge doesn't matter what time of day what the weather's like how long it's going to take whatever we got to do that's what we got to do a killer move so physical playing style and relent less never giving up mentality checked step two installing an Unstoppable Run game there is another thing Jim Harbaugh is famous for and that's his Run game and again that's something the Chargers have been missing ever since leanian Tomlinson retired and Jim is the master of it while he was with the 49ers San Francisco led the league in rushing attempts and yards gained on the ground so what will Jim do with the Chargers next change their playing identity teams in defense and the Packers have a two-score the drive continues here's Eckler in single games and the entire season and what is the one thing you need to run the ball successfully toughness and physicality a kick in overtime in his career Henry getting free Henry's going to end the game Titans taking in overtime and a good offensive line and Jim knows that you're going say like you know what about a what about a weapon what about offensive lineman we look at as weapons that group when we talk about attacking offensive line is the tip of the spear since he arrived in La Jim began to acquire new weapons his oine dream team was finally complete as he drafted Joe alt in this year's NFL draft in the 2024 NFL draft the Los Angeles Chargers select Joe alt tackle it appears Jim is building an Army in LA and what is another thing you need for a good run game well good running backs the Chargers drafted a promising running back in this year's draft and signed two proven NFL backs during the off season Gus Edwards and JK Dobbins back to the the ground game Edwards Breaking Free second and six Jackson on the fake gives it to Dobbin big run dobins out to Midfield step three creating a complete offense everything we mentioned so far is important for a team but if you don't have a good quarterback you are in trouble but oh wait the Chargers already have that talk about somebody getting me fired up I mean I mean let's go you know Justin Herbert walks up on you you know like okay we feel you Jim for those of you who don't know the Chargers have a stellar franchise quarterback by the name of Justin Herbert and yes it is that same dude who did this you saw it come to fruition right there on that [Applause] play Herbert stops launches deep jayen gon he's got it touchdown Chargers what a throw since he entered the league in 2020 Herbert has broken nearly all rookie passing records was named an offensive Rookie of the Year and has already mustered up a 5,000-year passing season an impressive start to a young career Kelly remains in there fake it again Herbert deep drop looking to uncor the Deep ball and he's got the separation touchdown it's in a lot of time here and still just at the 27 Herbert steps up into the pocket lets it go to a wide openen Allen touchdown Los Angeles although Justin is considered one of the most talented QBs in the league and has a cannon for an arm his winning and Playoff records don't confirm his talent that's why he is doubted across the entire league mostly because of the team he plays on nothing is guaranteed with the Los Angeles Chargers that's why I say show me something Justin Herbert but don't worry Chargers fans he will not be doubted anymore just ask yourself what is the one thing you need to do to help your young and exceptional quarterback help him by taking the pressure off his back and establishing a Run game that will not force him to throw the ball more than 50 times in a game yeah baby yeah so you have a franchise QB who can sling it anywhere on the field and a QB who seem to be missing a good run game and now you pair him with the coach who can deliver that okay Chargers this is starting to make sense now but Jim didn't stop there what is the other thing a QB needs besides a good o line and good running backs wide receivers yes due to cap issues the Chargers had to part ways with Keenan Allen and Mike Williams but they added a few Fresh Faces in free agency and drafted a few more m in motion look out from behind got the pass away he threw the strike lad M Maki touchdown Georgia remember that name folks lad makoni put it all together and you will get this instead of flashy plays worth highlight reels Jim is bringing the old school mentality back to the City of Angels a tough rugged physical never quitting and always hungry mindset I it's going to start with I mean humble and hungry I mean right there that's that's where we are right now don't let the powder blues fool you oh we almost forgot to add one more thing Jim is famous for his leadership and connection with his players for everybody everybody he a he's a It is Well documented how his former players feel about him all the love the Gratitude and the respect they have for him the way he can relate to players and bring out the best in them is almost uncanny it's kind of astounding cuz you know you kind of look at Harbaugh and just think well he's a football coach Meathead it's all he cares about Get Low tackle good form whatever and there's just more that meets the eye there with Jim Harbaugh it's like he is a player Whisperer of some sort worms head machine guns and Birds wouldn't be scared of them or a worm Whisperer so imagine what a man with a genius mind and QB experience in case some of you don't know Jim played as a QB in the NFL for more than 10 years can do with Justin Herbert not only will he develop Justin as a player but also as the great leader he was meant to be Justin Herbert I think we all would agree is a little quiet you know maybe a little less Alpha is than most starting star quarterbacks in the NFL and I think a guy like Harbaugh can you know bring that out of them a little bit more be a little bit more of a vocal leader so what do you think did the Chargers
