[Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] hi everybody welcome to the knitters League today is August 1st I can't believe it's already August but it is and with podcasting today at night a little different than usual in the evening that really night time but I'm ELISA I'm Lori I'm Julie Sofia and welcome yeah we're happy to have you yeah so um let's jet yeah yeah yeah so what are you guys been up to not a whole lot well you guys have tell us well I mean okay so we're sad yeah Julie and I went to New York City Brooklyn actually to join Christie Felicia and a bunch of other well not a bunch it was what like 14 of us maybe that's a bunch so it's Kristy glass thing I Lucia from string things studio in Brooklyn that's it already but you know no um actually was my first time to Brooklyn I've never been hmm interesting not that I say that like I've been so many times because the first time I was in Brooklyn was just delete before that so well I didn't love it I love Brooklyn I would live in Brooklyn it was nice and if the funny thing is we were in a uber on our way there we were on the Brooklyn and I wasn't even right so and then I'm looking over sinaitic bridge so I asked the uber driver I was like is this the Brooklyn Bridge she's like notice the New York Bridge and let go I'm sure it was all excited I don't think people make that mistake usually no they probably don't Nanak I was kind of embarrassed there's new boot drive I even I even put on my snapchat story just saying I'm some random let me just delete that because I'm not sure knows when you start you're like foreign accent oh I don't know you know like is something like clearly you know so almost killed us Julie first I would definitely pinned your questionable if you took this turn that was like he did not need to take that turn and the cars were like coming that close and I'm Molly and you said what do you say you were so surprised a freak out where I was I was like how is Julie so calm right now but who so anyway so we were there we had some you know we a we chatted for a while we did they have a little bit they bring food or did you guys have like no thanks yeah good food I didn't need a lot yeah I thought she ain't gonna work cuz it was really good mmm yeah it was really muggy like a I don't know it just seemed really muggy I don't know I always eat it those kind of know I can treat you to know I ate but it was I was kind of or sometimes it gets weird you know like you're like do I get to eat am i eating too much right you know got there a little late so we're yeah well we weren't you can catch my last people but it's like when you're at those like five-year-old birthday parties and they offer your cake and you feel like you should say no what you really want say yes and then you say yes then you want to take another piece of cake oh good and then sometimes you do I speak it that's why I just offered you another scone yeah so that's how many your opponent of that just have to be happy yeah so you didn't eat as much as I didn't need as much as I wanted to know I wasn't sure if like we were gonna when we were gonna start how we weren't start so um what we had to do was we had to bring my yarn babies or yarn for the donation station we could do split kind of like yarn swaps and then we had a finish or froggit or was - finisher froggit hold on I've got some visuals for you everyone breath bold work-in-progress helpful like cuz I'm like a legally I could touch don't oh my yeah I their work sometimes I knew for sure I wanted to truck so did you frog it right then in there yeah three oh so like you can wait I'll get right then in there yeah okay so should add finish it that's a glitter it's a glitter Oh what is it Franck I'm a paid ninety nine percent work bracket really yeah so what you hold held up here we each had a rental thing you know that be rocked about it like when we started at what it's supposed to be I haven't even finished it yeah why do you think and except for you I brought my socks you're gonna say to froggit when you only have it yeah I like that one well cuz I was like I really don't have anything that I've been working but I've kind of never that well you are a menace to I mean I do have a couple projects but they're like I'm not frying them because I'm going to fish them cuz I want to finish them yeah okay so she brought no I wasn't going to I would have been like oh you only did that to just like be like have something to have something because I got bad if I didn't like you're just trying to sympathize with everybody well it was good because I was able to do it finish it where most was froggit yeah all the all of the others almost that's so fun yeah that is your line it was I mean I you cut to frog some of Julie's and it was not as fine it wasn't my project yeah in the like Lisa said there was a donation you could I wish I brought like a bunch of skeins iron I brought yeah I should've brought more - yeah you but I did get something in it let me show you grab some you did that's cool tell us about her to tell you like this okay well that was a nice was that like wow I don't know what I don't make with it but somebody let me sacred make a stripy sweater so it's a it's a I see it is looks like round mountain fibers 100% my super superwash merino is it Scratchy um it's a little rough it is it's a fur fur a simple wash see hand dyed in Vermont this one in the USA want to smell it I'm worried that I might be like some cat hair going on and I feel like I just I get allergic to cat hair and I thought I saw like a little fuzz and I didn't know it could be it could be mine it could be if it's your cat's eye - but wasn't it great I didn't take this ad and you didn t Canyon I didn't at that point I just felt like so here I was trying to get rid of things and I didn't want to take anything was there pretty well do you feel like there were some good things to snatch up there was something someone had um cuz I mean some a little thing of them I forget the name it was awesome Oh them roaming or beginning but I should have like grabbed that cuz it really was pretty and I know it's expensive at Rhinebeck well in that you know you know what I don't want to grab and grab it like I'm gonna use this what in four years right you know do you want to grab again just to grab it when I purpose up the party - was yeah but also what she does with the yarn I think you were talking to Felicia more than then I was about what yeah she has a new school program they do a lot of I think she's that the next thing they're doing is they're gonna be yarn bombing and then she also they do some weaving so like all this yarn and there was what the bunch yeah that's right yeah that's cool yeah yeah she just had a cutest store no and she's a great woman right yeah yeah it was a lot of we met her and fiber I'm sorry um at the I feel like Christmas yeah or though what am i why can't I think enough and then we ran into her at both knitting like why am I saying for every I know it's not fair oh the favorite things party yeah that's right there so she gave us a little party favors she had a little mini skein was a cake one was a little skiing this is the garden pearls it's the golden pearl I was the golden pearls as in the Golden Girls but right gold that is so cute yeah I'm like no girls uh what did you originally the garden party girls and she looked at it that I saw her like a liqueur in my eye and I could see his head golden you said Spanish and my dogs finish when they thought it says spinach yeah I know yeah that's nice I know sorry Spanish I was right that time okay so I am right something yeah she sometimes miss says things and we used her of it and it really didn't really happen and so but this time it did it did okay so and Julie's pink cute kilo cute and then and like I said the succulent and a not about it knit like little things they're on yeah different I'm just hoping I don't kill mine you do a lot of water I know what oh and then Anna another uber some girl that was in the Ober we did a pool she was coming from like a garden event brain just like I just be potting and I'm all like oh how do I take care of a succulent so you got just water it every two weeks okay I think I can do this yeah you can go quite dry for a while yeah he'll be fine just technically like a cactus think of it and not so it so likes more moisture than that but it can go quite okay yeah all right yeah we get killed water - yeah like my gauge is it thanks tear like money in like a space that I water like in the wintertime I water like maybe once I totally forget about it and it's it's still okay oh yeah I've killed a spider plant so succulent I'm a killer of the plant yeah but a spider plant like you don't kill spider places things like surprise I am clear Holocaust well I managed to do it so okay well good luck Scott succulent I'm gonna try and you got one too yours is like taller yes you bug has a ton of them so I was like come home and here's your present well I did drag Julie to a brewery yeah and I almost bought my beer thereby didn't want to carry it it was my bag was heavy and I didn't get a lot it was just happy I mean of course glass yeah yeah other side oh oh I'm like that was like I was like what's going on the other side other side of the battery the other side like me - I know you're so random sometimes I don't know where the heck is happening I said Cameron it was delayed and it was it was like so out of place like I was like there's something wrong with a battery I always think it's a camera think he I thought it was the camera reach a I was like yeah okay that's the name of the brewery yeah and you know what we tried to we wanted to try to go to UM Brooklyn general but it was buzzing yeah they would have been like and why do it then - ready why did I want to be home late right yeah yeah it was it was a lot of money I mean like I said it it wasn't sometimes I feel like it was like which I don't mind like in and out but I still have fun yeah knows what you need it is what unity it gives you what you need and I need you know not to say like you wouldn't have had a good time but sometimes it just gives you just enough and so that you can feel like okay this is you know you make it a big trip yeah to go hang out with people that you really really don't know to Braille and you know and sometimes it's a big commitment but I'm glad we went guys went - yeah in that store what's our favorite store usually with all the cartoons oh yeah yeah fun what not it's not gone I was just there the week no Julian I just couldn't find it really look we're not here just like usually right here why tell you where it is next time well no I don't it was like did we come off it was like mom absolutely pretty good Harry I know well it's official what kind of Grand Central you come out well we don't I don't even know this store is a store in Grand Central Station yes in terminal yes sad we Laurie introduced us to it I have since back there twice oh I'm glad when I went there when I went to New York the week before whatever I bought that up yeah it's it's basically I think it's on the lexington ave side of the Grand Central I don't even I don't even mean you didn't get lost at all okay you found the bathroom okay that's okay you got a second I was important we sat down to eat good good good yeah and I wanted tea when we got back no subway decided to all those 15 minutes early subway you're gonna get a tea at Subway like you're just a nice II said I wanted to eat I was so mad I eat cold ravioli when I got home cuz I was so hungry oh oh oh you're saying the one in New Haven yeah okay well so the thing is that I was between getting on the train at 7:30 taking the game 7:30 tray or making it for the 702 right whatever know what I'm like do I get food I'm not hungry yet so I decided to not get the food I take my chances which I'm happy that we took the earlier train mm-hmm but you lost that bet yeah and a bowl of cereal okay yeah and I have something for you guys oh yeah yes knitting garage is doing this autograph yearbook type of not autograph your book bag for Rhinebeck which they have on their website so you can get one yourself go to the Knitting garage yep and calm so maybe you have as I tell you what this bag yeah I realize this is what is this bag about so basically you have it comes with a pen sharpie yeah okay get so people you meet you can oh yeah I wanna marry that lady that asked us for her autographs and it's such a good idea it was like I don't want selfies what how about we like get autograph yeah looking a bit so so - I won't get any this year but but yeah but it's sure to be Linea and you know what it holds so much your name is bad um Julie yeah she did I don't know using mine now yeah we got our in the enemy was like oh I'm gonna grab him for laurieandsophie I'm like well I'm glad you thought of them cuz I didn't thank you so much this is no joke that is that's cool thank you for bringing it and I love you it did wow I would love it says yeah if they've done this before we have big doesn't know she's there's time yeah so this is you can get these at the Knitting garage on her website yep yeah oh yeah so she was excited to share them I think that's a great I love it I mean how great we you know thank you so much awesome yes thanks for bringing that so ok and not a bad fits - and also to go back to Rhinebeck right excited about that so my two big one me too filled with yarn this is not knitting really good at all but so my youngest daughter's turning six on Sunday I'm having her party on Saturday this weekend and she is obsessed with unicorns obsessed so I was Tong for the other day like oh I know what Antigua's getting you for your birthday and she's like what is I was like I can't tell you you have to wait she's like is it a unicorn I'm like what like a real unicorn she's like no like unicorn stuff like I'm not saying anything she's like if it's not unicorn I don't want it I'm like okay all she wants is unicorn chill like whatever she goes she's getting stuff yeah good yeah I did get her some unicorn plate also and just like or one of those shimmery pillows or a fluffy pillow I'm like okay oh my god god forbid somebody give her something that's not a unicorn well gift receipt it gift receipt and you know Hannah yeah she'll show you she'll I don't like it she'll like it like what is this but anyway well I'm glad you give it to the kids who don't have anything but I'm going to be making a unicorn cake like you've seen online or u2 or whatever no what do you mean like I've seen online never supposed to know about this online cake is this like okay me anybody watch nailed it on Netflix no oh so it's basically about this it's a cooking show about people that can't I mean I know the show okay they can't cook and they try to do these things if you've seen it there was unicorn cake on it I'm doing something like that so yeah you are okay I'm something I can do this yeah definitely and I'll all let you know how it goes because I'll be at the birthday party and I wonder if we eat or you'll be decorating it well we're ready for food well I my goal is better than that okay going to do this I'm gonna start me I'm gonna make the frosting on Thursday so I can keep in the fridge I can do this this will be one of those instances where you have to you want to take that second piece of cake yeah I maybe I'm making unicorn poop cookies as well oh that's oh that's so cute and unicorn money buddies okay by the way I figured out what the desserts the money buddy oh it's like chess with like you know like yeah chocolate peanut butter and it's like that coated oh my gosh it's Chad boy well you need to make me sell it but easy how do I know you like that ladies now after like rice krispie treats and Kate Plus eight they muddle their money but I never happen I've never heard it I had that but I've never had the money okay they're checks and you melt like peanut butter and chocolate together usually the money buddy is that so the traditional already buddy is checks and like peanut butter and chocolate melted and you you know throw it in there and then you roll it in confectioner sugar yeah why I might like sticky and so when you eat these little checks things they're just like a bite full of chocolatey peanut butter there's a nice peak but it's hardest no it's like Oh see - oh it's young I think I mean if you watch Kate Plus 8 he's got a likewise keep was like with me she was crazy she's like ah like bulk sighs not my body have to right now she had all those children I don't think I've ever had my sister-in-law makes something like that what if you go to lay down like the chip I or the bright I'll there's a god we made Chex Mix money and you didn't even know the minute I do not believe you money buddy I care I'm upset with my parents yeah well I grew up my buddies neither well how did you learn no because I went to high school and normal people got stuff and my where is grown up I don't know about it back then ya know I think it's a new earth okay this is an outrage I don't mean abasa me I don't think they were around when we were kids and if they were I could tell you this family no I was lucky if I got like please you were way more luckier oh I know cuz you had like Kara instead of a like no yes here you go sorry Kara batteries are just like chocolate no arable it does not taste like chocolate no it doesn't I would I would be so upset with my parents I mean I was or or how about what we went to show you glad I was like you know only have vanilla seriously we don't know they're safe we're not don't know either please no no that's not true when you're a little trust me I'm older than you no I know but then it was strawberry then maybe chocolate and honestly for the longest time I thought those were the only flavors they have ya know before you could meet when we'd go to Chanel and until like could you read the menu tendency guy this is a local diner near to us we got to test it with Shay Clinton she has a local diner and it's famous for their cheeseburgers and it's seriously stuck in the 1940s yeah so no way it's old and they never redecorated nor did they get new work uniforms but I mean they've updated that they're new but they're older nostalgic yeah yeah no I think they're the original know that I used to work in so I'm not working - yeah but anyway it's super yummy yeah absolutely ice cream flavors and the menu is on the wall how did you not read oh no I knew there was other ice cream flavors I just don't know you could do a milkshake with them cuz i all i knew was your options were chocolate not even you know well we have strawberry chocolate now except to talk yeah cuz we would I would always get a chocolate line cuz that's the best flavor let's be real and I don't even love chocolate the best flavor anyway the point is that she was only allowed to have vanilla and I remember being like oh brother yeah I mean it's like we're talking about like Halloween give your candy away for Halloween yeah that's the kind of this my mom wasn't my mom wasn't like that is she watching sorry tom I love you what Rosa we love you but wow that's wow it's borderline evil it is a little so why would get the candy and then what will you do would give you the candy so it wasn't it was okay they got the candy I did I used to have my grandparents what need a muddy buddy now well we were not raising money no as a Charlie back to this money but you know like those original rice cakes the original brown rice no salt like cardboard yeah that's what I was raised on I don't love them I do every once awhile I get one I go I twitch I feel like I'm back in those days where my mom picking off the salt off my pretzels and throwing away my bag because I couldn't have salted my pretzel oh yeah oh yeah I thought I was bad I couldn't have sugar at cereal but no I well we didn't have a lot of sugar cereal you kidding me sugared cereal forget it and I want to go over people you always not do that what am i yes I will have your Froot Loops and yeah I don't want homemade pancakes I will have fruit them please I don't have three bowls of fruit loops because I really want fruit it would be the same I remember the people it's lunch I'd get my lunch should be with it like that stupid bread with a million seeds in it and it'd be like scraped homemade strawberry jam with next a big chunk of that strawberry that never was like jelly with Pete homemade ground-up peanut butter and it is yeah egg salad with sprouts okay oh whatever no no no and I would get juice box next to me was Bridget with her freaking hostess cupcake with the fake white stuff coming out and I was like oh I want that but I was then I was I was the one step up on the sugar scale like in the ladder compared to like they were way down here I would like something about you guys and you know where's my parents and they're from my mom learned it from her mom that's how I think that was that influence yeah and my mom's younger yes Wow so yeah Wow so yeah homemade peanut butter no thank you nobody knows so I won't eat it just because principal well I wouldn't either I have to say disgust you know me I'm all about the sweets yeah I'll go natural Jeff that's as natural as I go I like a separation of oil and I and I know Julie you like I like it I think what are the company just that's exactly where we would go [Music] let's circle back ninny me I'm sorry sorry we're a little worked up okay I want to hear about what you guys have been doing yeah sorry not to reminiscing about our food now um what am i doing I just want my cousin's here from Spain and her partner's here there they're here with their daughter and we've been sightseeing I went we went to New York we saw that the pic store was there I went to pasta with yeah oh we went to Boston I went that wall actually going back to New York I've never been to such a Liberty had only gone like I'm gonna like the ferry around it like long really good couple Nevers well no never stood on the earth that she's on so we did that we went up to the pedestal that was really cool it was emotional I almost actually cried did you climb the crown you know that was booked out till October we were able to get to book it oh yeah you have to book it and you and it's sold yeah okay I may have been up there and I went to the pedestal and that we lucked out we were like there just happened to be like three or whatever four or five tickets whatever it was and we basically just got them last ones but um that was really cool we did that wound to Ground Zero I hadn't been to ground zero since Wow 9/11 like the for 9/11 I've never been there I'm just kinda like anti going there and so would you think I'm going back I like my sister I was wondering if that was where I should go I think you should I think you should because it's impressive and it's really it's really well done and I also feel like it's cool to see people remembering some yeah that I think it was part you know it's profound that what in April and no was it maybe it was December we were there for my cousin's wedding we all went and it's it's pretty me because also it's wintertime it was cold yeah windy and yeah you get that chill in here and there's a lot of cool architecture around it yeah no but at but it's you get profound yeah okay so you know you should go yeah I think feeling it's cold like right there next to it is also that very modernist pizza finnish architect it's like a mall yeah underground mall it looks like kind of skeletal yes like ribs yeah yeah that was really cool we went just checked it out that's there and then also to there's one of the oldest then gillies in that mall to just so we don't mean oh I think we didn't go in in really but there's also Church there like I think George Washington like went to like it's super old and it's like what's good I don't know how many things in that space like between the fires that happen in New York and then also 9/11 9/11 was a big thing so it's kind of like a small little like colonial church you know and that's kind of just still there you know and that was kind of cool just to see something's withstand time you know so that was cool and then we did you know your typical who to the park we went to the Natural History Museum and whatever oh we went to a milk yeah that's it that's like remember name now toasty Christina Tosi is that she's a she's a baker she's yeah by the way they're yummy smells really what up I've never been there yeah it was good so we got they have like she kind of created milk flavored like you know when you have cereal after you're done eating cereal the milk the flavor that cereal leaves in your milk she made ice cream flavors like that international and it's a little different it's its flavored with the corn flake like aftermath you know max was kind of like no hi Griffin was like yes you know so it was kind of like it grew up and grew on me make her feel loved it max it not but anyway it's a good cookies so that's all I did and I went to Boston and I went to DC just recently and while you guys were in New York the MDC yeah okay so tried to get into the African American Museum and that's the newest Smithsonian on there on the in the mall and no lie you have to because all the museums are free um the Smithsonian's you have to pick a time slot for that it's so popular it opened up last year and to this day I've no lie 630 you can start trying to book you get queued into like a call in like an online call in for like let's take camp frame or something literally like like 6:45 every ticket for that day wow he's like it's like almost impossibly did not get in like I tried multiple days like literally it's that popular and it's supposed to be fantastic so so I'm gonna get to do that but I went to the Holocaust Museum you did oh that's incredible I cried that's incredible that's an incredible place I was that was crazy for me that was my first Holocaust my first Holocaust Museum I haven't won in Paris as well yeah that's so but the one in Washington DC this is well done it's really well done yeah yeah yeah it's crazy cuz they make you feel like you're with the way you go through it yes makes you feel like you are part of they have like get up the cars the train cars and but not only that just that the building structure and everything you feel like because how and you also have to get a ticket for that like it and you don't it's like a you don't pay really but to see it you can't just show up it's that popular and it's easier to get to but you basically are walking through with a lot of people and you feel like you are experiencing what they may have to may have they may had that man that rehab they know had because we have had they may have had may have had they may have experienced experience period man oh my gosh was so bad but anyway it was was moving yeah I got to the shoes and shoes yeah yeah and I've seen the shoes before and it's like exhibits like it's like single exhibits but that really was like too much so but it was good and they give you a little booklet yeah they give you of your personal person who you are as a Holocaust either survivor or not they say oh you like have that story you step into it yeah yeah no it's oh it's well done so the soap Washington's always a wonderful I love it so that's what I did and then we went to the mouth it's a couple I don't know we just went around that's what I've been doing so what were you I have been um we went away we're in Cancun for a week on 4th of July week we had such a good time and then I have really just been working like nobody's business full-on my kids have been camp did usually you cut back in the summer and come back but um my husband got a new job oh he's going to be leaving us at the end of August so my husband were both attorneys so we're in the process of I'm gonna be taking over a lot of his cases it's uh just it's a very stressful time that's all but home I don't know but I can't complain it's been a good summer it's just been really just busy so we've acquittal or something I do I have Maya do have a cold I also had I can't relatives or friends over every single weekend since what did I tell you guys I even looked back since you got back from Mexico problem I had metaphor then before that cuz you know we had a might lead we have a religious holiday and we had relatives before and after that I think it has been since the first weekend Jew I've had people staying here or people saying at my dad's I've been hosting except for the two weekends we were in Cancun it's just been crazy yeah I hear you which I love it but it's also just whoa it's deterring in the best of ways to entertain yeah but you know it's very I know like I know what my cousins there was a day there where they're like what are we doing today and I was like what's the program if I and I was the program oh my god but they've been really good they've been kind of like oh I'll just we'll just do our own thing but it's just kinda like you know they're here for a month and they want to take advantage of every second and I'm here forever I just wanted today that I was asking Lisa about boss meeting because they have a little child she was so good doing a lot oh yeah yeah I mean she's she's she was she was that day she was a it was a good I mean she's good she's good but yes definitely she's definitely a fit like month-old like there are days were just like on the way but was it on the way back from Boston she was crying oh yeah she cried we sang every song we could think of and and she's really beside herself yeah yeah I mean she's it's definitely a lot like oh I mean that's I'm impressed that they're yeah chugging along yeah cuz I don't remember just like giving up when and Julie I want to go to the lake yeah you have to I have to yeah so Julie has a lake I own awake okay so hey girls do any of you have they didn't it yeah I would feel that both okay I don't okay I have one all right may I show my don't have me I post okay I have some whips Polly old first I got some socks you know what from the picture I didn't know that they're purple blue no this was blue Jim did yeah speckled here I noticed that I hope this was um for my a bus okay and this yarn is um mustache that Julie got for me Oh birthday in between which one was the mustache rainbow the rainbow and then the colorway is called Dark Side of the Moon alright pv e pv f no e P V stands for but and then the toes and cuffs are Madeline Tosh this is lemonade chopped yeah and they are a gift for someone in my gym who actually doing a trade she makes homemade medicine she's mmmm I told you about her husband they're like I don't know foragers or a very good at knowing edible plants and tracking animals and making fires out of nothing there's there's a word so they've been I'm not the memory they are naked and afraid that's what they do but no no but um and they make medicine like they got and they make tinctures and what are they gonna make you maybe it's telling them they are going to give me a like god right they're gonna give me a variety of all sorts of different things cool it's a treat I'm going to look like a martyr this is a burner socks4 that's awesome and that's great because they have something that she'll appreciate she totally is asked me to make them for her and originally I was like oh just four please see your honor whatever and then I came to learn more about her and her husband and how they make all this medicine and so go could we barter and trade and she's like absolutely want and I said I don't even know what I want so what do we make of another pair why don't you tell me what I need okay something so I'll keep you posted on that really finding and I was working on last time last episode my Moomin a sweater which as we remembered it was supposed to be oh no did I have one of those yeah we did you know those that's right um it's supposed to be turned inside out mm-hmm but I love it like that you kept it uh well I knit it fasting I was fasting so you just would have sewing up the stitches on the other side yes no but what happened was is I alternated schemes like a ding dong on the wrong side oh oh so yeah that's winning well maybe that would be a new kind of hello then you know of course I alternate games are such a messy way and I still have like a pulled something here but anyway I love it I love this pattern if anybody is looking and oak the artist nice and knit but I bought it from woolen honey do I have another one over here what the heck anyway does it can't get to it I know baby maybe that darn kitty and this was a kit from woolen honey I think I mentioned it last time yeah but if anybody is looking for a quick worsted weight that's why I'm making yeah but this is a great sweater you guys very cute um and the designer is olive newts right yeah Marie green and that's not beekeeper yeah and it's like your bees are different like the to you gives you in the tonal like again this is what made it to and I you know what this pattern this stitch it's actually so fun in it because and just the parents only back to you it will work out she keep psychological issues I had with knitting so I just thought I'm gonna keep going but then I was worried with like what about when I altered like how do I like you could just start alternating now that's you yeah but now I'm worried that that because on the cap it's wrong it's gonna always be wrong down the sleeves no if you don't saying oh no because I'll pick up yeah yeah okay why don't you I just leave that no why don't you just leave this at my house next time maybe together I'll have it fixed for you are you sure yeah yeah because what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna put your sleeve stitches on needles I'm gonna cut your thread know this thread what not that the thread you have holding it yeah you're holders and I'm just gonna rip back just this part yep how are you gonna fix it with it's like how you gonna fix it with isn't this lined up - no yeah it's lined up it's lined up in the back see oh sorry mother that's what I mean and so like now I'm worried like the whole thing is gonna be messed up you just have to tink back a few rows I don't want to that's my problem I don't want to because I didn't want to think back to where the heck do I stop here like I don't know where you stop right here you can see it yep else right there in there great it's right there I don't wanna think it's too much for me right now that's why I put it away honestly and I want to finish the sweater but started the beat pattern again and for whatever reason it worked out for the front but not anywhere else and I don't understand why it did that if I was trying to keep so that's questioning to me so I've stopped so now I feel like I want to just rip it out and I don't know if I'll rip it from rip it out I'll go back to it because frankly you're frustrated yeah yeah okay so you think about this while we're podcasting yeah you want me to fix it for you I can't we have to fix all this so it feels like you have to rip back everything I can fix it for you hmm all right well you can decide that's up no you decide that's up to you would you carry on if I fixed it I mean if you yeah I guess so but then I also feel like I just rather just rip it out over you have to decide yeah is more power ya feeling because I know that back to the I'm see like the next time I that you've betrayed me feeling well and it's also that it's already you know like when you put something down for so long you're just kind of like okay not going to think about the pattern man yes and I have to think about like even double think about the pattern okay I might as well just like to start over what it's up to you have yarn for that too I got this yarn but I got two skeins and this is the Wildwood series which is a limited edition hmm and there's no more this is it have you checked on the round you can do I check no I did finally not joking it's gone you know there's a color but I love love but I have one skin over that I want more I have a similar situation I mean I have no project for it yeah and it's a Madeline Tosh yeah I mean they have this colorway in a different I'm sorry baby you know I'm not it's so anyway okay even on Ravelry no one has it for sale one person has it stashed not for sale so I was like I'm gonna fade it eventually but then that's really just gonna be stripes so but I still have to do something so then I found this mm-hm or just make it a crime what is this Technic like between II oh this is technically the ma-ma-ma-ma-ma alright yeah and I can do like 3/4 sleeves I just fade out stripes like you do that you're um right whatever oatmeal or whatever that was jamming seeing they have a couple different she has some samples that are like low contrast so it looks like muddled and yes I'd love that and then she learned I can contrast one so I wanted the muddled one a low back panel not as much as hers so but I think it is I like my little I liked it so they like it I love it I like that so this is the green is neighborhood favorite company okay yes and I could get more of this definitely I've looked it up I can get more except two skeins and that's your main color that's the main color just from this Guthrie is all color work yep so this is my other one this is and that's all you have left once upon a corgi electric and this is this is all I have and I looked on her online store and I don't see any I could contact her and ask about it Laura this is what we no yeah the Chelsea girls yes I think it's what I watch a little bit yes I'd like it so far I um so fun and so fun it's called the Chelsea pearls podcast okay and it's not golden pearls no it's because the yarn shop is two ladies one of them owns the yarn shop and I think they're in Chelsea New Jersey in New Jersey oh but I don't know area like Chelsea something with the place okay so right he's not Chelsea no her name is not Chelsea but one of the ladies there's Chelsea I think is the name of the Chelsea pearls is the name of the yarn shop I think oh okay obviously even watched that many episodes I've made me watch three but is what I find so interesting about it because the owner of the yarn shop her husband is in the background yeah of the whole time the whole time what anything my mentee he's come he's commenting so you rarely get to see him I think I saw him in one episode very briefly but he's almost a personality of the podcast but not kind of like the announcing yeah he does he announcing and he obviously helps run the yarn shop because he knows what he's talking about - and chimes in and he makes interesting comments and the girls of the podcasts are also really cute and good and I'm gonna VIN to - to - I think the owner and then her friend Maryam who is it's just they're both great and they make beautiful things they've got great yarn it's fun it's fun so you know like I don't know do any of those talk shows like Howard Stern or you know one of those talk shows that has the guy off-camera sometimes David Letterman would do it to the guy you know the music yeah yeah I mean you know at all yeah oh yeah and sometimes the camera would go to Paul but he'd be talking to Paul and Paul would talk back and you wouldn't see him like word that five I was gonna say like Jimmy Fallon yeah he just said with the roots yeah whatever he doesn't up that with this guy yeah he's got a guy - right so it's kind of has that funny vibe and I don't he's him they're all like and his name is Red Bank Mike and they're like all right Big Mike and it's arrow it's cute it's - something different yeah we'll see pearls podcast and um yeah oh and I wanted to ask her viewers what podcasts you guys are watching besides us obviously cuz I'm looking for new ones okay there's many so there are so many and what your favorite some of them are I don't know the ones that I've been watching my old standbys are kind of just the same thing over and over your track furthermore just something different yeah I've can't complain about any specific podcast it's not that's not what I'm doing just I'm gonna rage a mix it up mix it I like I don't have time for podcasts that sounds stupid oh I put on when I'm washing the dishes to make you come on I'm training in a company yeah I don't wash dishes enough yeah I don't have time for podcasts either and I can't that's yeah I can't I don't think I could concentrate on I want to watch something when I watch something yeah no yeah well that's I think part of why some of our interest for me because it's repetitive they have a lot of podcasts and sometimes we do this too like we start out with our introduction and we finished objects - we do the same thing all the time yeah so today I want a boring like that but it's just not that podcasts are boring but it's like they're going through the same routine and you can only look at people's purchases so many times and yeah and you just watch okay so don't Nappanee we should think about me Hey oh yes yeah yeah yeah well I'm just talking fresh okay so I know what you mean I mean yeah yeah okay oh I lied I've watched the make up podcast make up make up points well anyway yeah gardening gardening I love sandy by the lake side I've got a few that I really do love yeah I have my um and the nice and knit one came out and slapped and they were so cute oh my god they bag they showed all their bags yeah on the podcast oh my saw I saw when they were yeah oh my god yeah I was like oh all those packs they love their bags they love their bags they do you see that yeah yeah I can't one they're the ones that you introduce a home um what was my bag no matter matter route like that wait crazy like when I want to talk about bags like if I think about bags I like it's at the time it's because I've seen them with their bag the other like midnight or whatever they've said and those matter roof bags oh my god I feel like they're the ones who like really made that like yeah yeah yeah yeah well but I think like they were like they're crazy supporters they like fought like they have both been buying them day long time yes agreed and no good taste they do every time let's see that's baby okay you're done to your oh yeah so no I'm not very far love it but I like it I love this color and I'm alternate no stains I can't run but I don't see do you have it mmm the cardigan has like this just pull over yeah yeah you and you made it I'm weighted with that curveball
