foreign TV back again with another low blood TV exclusive powered by talking media of course oh my mama [ __ ] when I tell you right now [ __ ] I got the Jitters I ain't [ __ ] [ __ ] they kind of calmed down right now man because we broke the ice and still I mean uh I think we probably need a shot or two Taj if we got some alcohol I mean you feel me this is a hell of an interview right now and um just to go down memory lane real quick like um and I ain't just saying it because the [ __ ] in my presence like [ __ ] I'm really from Oakland and um childhood Idol like um one of them [ __ ] when a [ __ ] jumped in the rap game like okay you feel me I can critique my style around this and I always had that raspy voice so you feel me like dog was one of them [ __ ] like you feel me um a [ __ ] grew up to mob into House Parties uh selling dope um all type of [ __ ] bro um like I said if I'm lying I'm flying on no plane um we going we going we gonna jump I'm from West Oakland so we're gonna jump on that 580 real quick right we gonna pass uh uh uh Lakeshore we're gonna pass Pearl Street we're gonna pass High Street we're gonna do all that I'm gonna get off on the 106. you feel me normally I get off on 98 and I paint damn one I think the East but I'm gonna get off on the 106. you feel me I'm a wiggle I all past huntsberry and [ __ ] you know I'm gonna do all that you feel me I might stop there at that gas station all right huntsberry because they got good prices on the liquor give me a little bottle or something old school pain in the ass you did what I'm saying and then I'mma uh double down I forgot the name of the street but I'm in the Hunts you feel me yeah you feel me I pull up I see a [ __ ] out there with a white T-shirt on selling CDs like it's duck you feel me ladies and gentlemen boys and girls children of all ages introducing the sun presenting uh just keep the snake yeah no blood my [ __ ] you know what I'm talking about man first of all man it's a blessing you don't mean to still be here you know I mean and still be doing what we doing and um you know getting it back from it and making an impact you know I mean on this base [ __ ] period on this open [ __ ] this Bay Area [ __ ] has a hole you feel me but uh so honor and a pleasure man it could be on a little Blood TV man thank you man I appreciate it I'll be giving bro a hard time I'll be telling them he'd be shaking me on this East Oakland [ __ ] but you know it's all love um we gonna take it back to the beginning bro um what gave you that spark to do music uh [ __ ] up first of all my mama was a DJ you know what I'm talking about um her and my answer that's called the noise makers uh my daddy had a club you know we was I was born in Alabama but I've been in Oakland since I was six months so I really all I know is the town but uh he had a club out there called the half moon but long story short I just grew up around music you know I mean um pops always kept 1200s in there and they always play good music you know what I mean huh so I grew up loving music you know what I mean I got pictures of me when I was three and four years old with guitars and drums and [ __ ] so you know with that being said I love music man how did you um link up with uh Asian man and why I always got tweet um my Grandmama stayed in the in the dubs by uh Manzanita School on uh 24th Ave 25th you feel me uh Asian man stayed on 25th you know what I mean so we met around that time and at that time uh I met him I think at Bret Hart yeah yeah we used to rap against each other every day at school you feel me and then uh we [ __ ] around and then just linked up and started rapping together you know what I mean is that Bart that was like 92 yeah then we put Bart in there like 90 late 93 94. right right an Asian man grew up together so was it three times crazy before it was born it was too raw too raw and then it was the Dual committee I remember doing committee yeah but then it was three times crazy okay what um keep it real what era you say was the latest the uh three times do a committee era or the hyphy movement fatigue that's hard to say man great question uh damn I say the hyphy movement because it didn't um it didn't last a little longer for me your family like the three times there I was like I got like two or three good years like 94 95 96 97 you know I mean 98 you know what I mean and then they went into the hyphy you feel me like 2 000 you know but I'll say the Heidi moment me me coming up um after the hotkey movement and I made my musical career because I was for sure head first in the hyphy movement um I think the hyphy movement to me I think it kind of [ __ ] off the bay a little bit bruh and I'm glad I could talk to one of the pioneers of the hyphy movement and what I mean by that is um they was thinking all we was doing was ghost riding the whip yeah but they wasn't listening to that kick we was listening to you know what I'm saying they was listening to the um tell me when the Gokey right this [ __ ] they was hearing like on the radio type [ __ ] like you know not the the CD the underground the you know I mean the you feel me um you know hyphy had a different definition than what I think now you know tall person was like man I've been going somewhere with all that noise right you feel me and then they went to the you know gigging with it and doing all that so you know yeah it's just crazy man how that [ __ ] did when I was in ya hyphy like you said was we bouncing off this bed kicking off this right yeah [ __ ] we're gonna get dumbass hyphy yeah tear this [ __ ] up you know what I mean so yeah he said yeah hypey [ __ ] up they [ __ ] the whole [ __ ] up yeah and I say that because um like I said they they wasn't listening to the white T-shirt cd7 keep right you get what I'm saying it was more of the tell me when the Gokey you get what I'm saying so you know mind you I'm violating why I'm doing this I'm doing that and people like oh you [ __ ] popping pills all day right and they didn't really understand the culture of hyphy you get what I'm saying and me and Fab had this discussion where I told Fab like um I think they presented the wrong [ __ ] you get what I'm saying because at that time Jeezy and Gucci hit because they was talking about that [ __ ] we was living right and we had rappers like the keeks the stylings the jackas who was talking about that [ __ ] but that was not getting pushed right yeah that [ __ ] that [ __ ] crazy man and then you gotta think um hyphy movement popped off like later if like oh wait you know I mean 09 when they really started getting the mainstream um view of it you know our our hyphy was from 2000 to oh 405 when we was my my t-shirt blue jeans it wasn't the the nah it was like my music yeah yeah so uh you know it's just crazy I got introduced to the world you know that that's how I was introduced to the World when they when the world seen it you know I mean as a whole you feel me right it was that's what they thought it was like we was on some lightweight clown [ __ ] like thank you [ __ ] is clowns nah it wasn't it it ain't never been that one that ain't never been a hyphy movement my hype again but Charlotte never you know what I mean right um what mood was you in all right or take me back to that time when um shout out to Big Brother shout out to Uncle Earl shout out follow me you know we're taking that Tycoon um what Rhythm was you in when he uh tapped in with you about that song Tell Me When To Go 40. yeah uh I was in Atlanta I had my birthday I just passed I threw a party at Jimmy's it was lit it was in that [ __ ] going crazy uh I was in Atlanta um he called me you know what I mean to uh to tell me to do he wanted to give me a muscle car so tell me when to go wasn't even in the picture yet right it was muscle car and uh he like I'm in Atlanta and if you don't mean damn like I'm in Atlanta I'm like oh big we had um Outcast Studio we had Franconia studio right so I went through there you feel me um knocked out uh muscle car the reverse Booth you know I mean little John Bob and you know that's all I was doing then I did the hook too but uh so a little scrappy a lot of them for a few months ago was there that night I mean it was me and dang thing you feel me I [ __ ] around and dozed off fell asleep I woke up and little John had made that boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom they asked me did I have a hook for it so I was like yeah we was already on some ghost [ __ ] [ __ ] [ __ ] so uh I just jumped in the air on the topic when they got you know how many times when they got but um that [ __ ] sampled that [ __ ] uh Run DMC that dumb girl that dumb dumb bomb and it was a rap it was like oh you feel me yeah [ __ ] little Jones like man you might as well do it first so I'm like all right come on knocked out a verse on So You did muscle cars and tell me you want to go on the same night yeah I'm so you was cheating you was on one now they couldn't do the album man I was recording me yeah one take and [ __ ] too yeah hell yeah I was on my [ __ ] you know I was recording every day so it was like that [ __ ] was second nature right right I wanted to what we got let me hear it you know what I mean but um yeah that was in one night did you um know that song was gonna be special at that time yeah yeah it was it had that type of vibe to it it hit us just like that so was the um was the muscle car the leaves was going to be the lead single or I think so oh I think he was going with muscle car first and then because I think 40 was um looking for a single at that time I think that was before uh you in that booty so that was before that song Oh that was on the same project oh yeah [Laughter] [Music] salute the 40 for keeping you on both phones like that's yeah no I'm on like [ __ ] about 6 40 albums starting from like 96. right right right right that's crazy that's crazy he always came and got me though you know what I mean 40 you know what I mean that's crazy I had a conversation with him early this morning for about 30 40 minutes and even as you know I see what you doing like stay on your [ __ ] and um you know that like I said bro I grew up listening to you [ __ ] like you feel me enough that [ __ ] meant so much to me bro like um you know for my elders my older constituents to give a [ __ ] his flowers bro and to be like I said sitting here with you bro um it's just trying to break because of the the Jitters and [ __ ] yeah and uh to hear how magical [ __ ] was bro like that [ __ ] was different that [ __ ] was different um during that time did you have any like major contracts on the table uh yeah before then I mean a lot of people was trying to sign me you know what I mean uh but they was trying to give me 200 000 400 000. man I was like [ __ ] um Sylvia wrong she wanted to give me a million you know I mean um at the time what's up you're wrong Universal okay I think well I think she signed Nelly and she uh well was it I think T.I or one of Nelly or somebody I think um Sylvia wrong but she she a big factor in the game she um she came to my house inside you tell me I wanted to sign me um at that time I was doing a lot of [ __ ] hella projects you know I mean uh it was a lot of money it was a lot of [ __ ] saying that they had me psyched so she was like you know kind of skeptical but she was like I hear you signed to a lot of different labels I'm like hell no right right um you know I think that kind of that kind of [ __ ] that deal off because she was kind of skeptical about signing me and then hell am I [ __ ] saying they had me up under some paperwork or some [ __ ] like that yeah yeah that kind of that kind of [ __ ] me up you know I mean we're just Hammer projects you know I mean like I said I was just working right yeah yeah you know um you know as of now I know what you're talking about because um I'll be doing I'll do a project with a [ __ ] you know a [ __ ] probably give you some fresh more projects you knocked the project out and quote unquote uh you feel me yeah because they put their label on top of the yeah [ __ ] this was a money play get what I'm saying so I definitely understand that um do you think if um you were around in the streaming area ever should it be much more different yeah and what I mean by that you know coming up we had Myspace right you feel me yeah you know it's SoundCloud there's so many different Avenues out here now many different platforms yeah do you think if um blue jeans and Nikes was out during the streaming era do you think a [ __ ] would be on a whole different for sure uh for sure for sure the game like you know like I always say I'm original before digital because I come from the era for track real a track um you know I mean eight track 16 track d88 Adat I mean two inch reel before Pro Tools when you had to really rap for three minutes you know I mean and spit all the hooks you had to do them all live it wasn't do the hook once and you could fly [ __ ] everywhere at night you had to do all the hooks I'm from that area yeah the posters yeah and flyers and Word of Mouth then radio play was hella hard to get so if you did get spent on it right [ __ ] you had the radio on I'm just saying it was I had to break that barrier because it was hella hard to get on the radio and if you wasn't on a major label because they paying for that [ __ ] you know what I mean right so yeah I broke that barrier bro with um [ __ ] the streets just reads and lots of a demand yeah yeah yeah I think it was mess who said it like the bay is one of the hardest markets to break for sure and and when that [ __ ] break that [ __ ] it's cookies right right right yeah that's crazy um what's your relationship with sack man cause I hear you always say [ __ ] I'm the king the bad inside yeah I love sex Sacramento is like my second huh and then uh on my daddy's side of the family is out there okay you know what I mean so we got a farm and animals farm horses the farm boys real farm though dogs you know I mean birds [ __ ] everything so I've been going out there since like 90. I always [ __ ] with my cousins and say and then um my I got a cousin that was my age rest in peace Double L he passed you know I mean and that's why I used to always go [ __ ] with in second when he passed I just start doing hell of music and dedicating it to him because he was a major he was a major factor out there in Sac in North Sacramento on the heights where he from you know what I mean so I just kept sack lit in his name because I you know it heard me that he passed he passed from natural causes too then nobody killed him or nothing he just he passed away from you know in the hospital you know so um I ain't gonna lie bro um you probably killed me for this off the camera but um I [ __ ] hate that you put Alchemist on that one song bro and I love the [ __ ] out that song yeah man and um today [Laughter] he was supposed to be on that one man that [ __ ] wasn't supposed to be on that one man that thing was supposed to be on the beat or something at the end yeah yeah but you know it is what it was you feel me before I knew it the [ __ ] had dropped the verse right I'm thinking I'm getting into my dick you feel me yeah for a minute I thought it was the other [ __ ] before I realized oh that's Alchemist ah but I mean you know you know no offense lines you know I ain't talking bad about bread but throw me a beat [ __ ] yeah so that's how that really went okay and uh you know what was your um oh my God moment in this [ __ ] like okay [ __ ] I'm here like uh laughs yeah [ __ ] oh my God I'm here I say um t-shirt jeans and Nikes talk to them and copy them that album right there I put a lot of work into that album because um I was trying to beat all the statistics that they were saying you know what I mean first it was uh you know uh you don't got no singles you know what I mean then it was uh well I came with here come keep the snake Okay well everybody don't know he'll keep the sneakers yeah okay all right well show me then they they turned around and contradicted today so I do a cope him damn near album full of everything I was thinking video when I was writing I Was Your Best Body yeah I was thinking like yeah video that's how I was coming and then they played t-shirt jeans and Nikes you feel me like you know and I'm saying uh my [ __ ] told me don't be scared I'm gonna run the street just like him t-shirts blue jeans and Nikes stay strapped with a four five I wish a [ __ ] would try me they playing that on the radio yeah it got added you feel me when I first did it I had three verses and then when they I made it new again they put 40 on it and and that's when they started playing the version of sodium okay my [ __ ] told me don't be scared I'ma run the street just like it yeah t-shirt blue jeans and Nike okay stay strapped with a four five I wish a [ __ ] would try yeah that was um one of them ones I always wanted to know what a [ __ ] said right there and then I think I decipher did um zap on my lap smoking purples yeah okay because the way you said it right yeah because yeah yeah you know that was that floor Matic you know three times [ __ ] yeah yeah um like I said bro this is music a [ __ ] yeah man this [ __ ] this [ __ ] is Soulful this [ __ ] won't die right right when that [ __ ] come on today yeah you feel me yeah they be reacting like [ __ ] like that [ __ ] just came out today man this [ __ ] over 10 years old right and it's crazy too um Oakland native it's like you a part of that culture yeah you get what I'm saying like from no matter what age like you know like sure um how does that make you feel bro like you so humbling like yeah I'm super humble with it because it was on purpose um yeah Oakland that's that's me I got everything I'm bring giving you from the town you know what I mean this is what raised me this is how I ran you know everything I do with some Oakland [ __ ] period when ghosts Yeah man so yeah you know I yeah I I I'm a part of this right man you know it inspired me to know that I inspired others like you like you know [ __ ] to just do their body of work and come with that [ __ ] you know what I mean yeah cause we got it you know we just we talented I ain't gonna friend my [ __ ] keep um in that day you can be standing next to a [ __ ] who got on the ten thousand dollar Gucci fit you got that fresh five dollar white tea yeah like it was different like you made that like like like [ __ ] who can't go get a white tea right like you get what I'm saying like you made that [ __ ] so I don't know the word bro but you made that like ah bro I can't think of the word but you made that [ __ ] like so accepted and so like [ __ ] he's speaking for us for sure and and this is before the record even came out that was our dress code you know we little dirty [ __ ] but I'm gonna throw a fresh tea on and be [ __ ] like this yeah yeah and my game is everything it ain't yeah it ain't the money to change anything us it's my game period you feel me yeah I'll see pictures now for me back in the day big ass jeans little cups little Dusty shoes but that white yeah white teeth you don't like that yeah it's like I missed them days when he and it costs you nothing to be sausages your personality yeah that was like you gotta had a big watch to be a chain of miry's like I grew up in that area where a five dollar white tea you was the [ __ ] for sure right yeah and you couldn't count a [ __ ] money cause you don't know what a [ __ ] got cause then they got a fresh cut fresh line fresh table and a white teal talk to me I'm smelling like weed yeah at the function spitting it yeah you know what I'm talking about yeah confidence through the room yeah you can't tell him nothing I don't give a [ __ ] what you got [ __ ] I'm some broader than you yeah I'm out here yeah I'm out here man yeah definitely and I want some attention because I deserve it right right right um five years from now man where do you see Keith I see kick man um really heavy into the marijuana game it's really my whole screen and my [ __ ] popping my delivery service is you know big hyphy Collective it's as big as cookie you know I mean uh my weed brand is on autopilot is is running you know I mean nephew me enough running it we and and [ __ ] doing what it should be doing uh you know I got a lot I got talented kids my son is raw and my daughter she's super raw you feel me uh I see them I see me behind they music and letting them keep the torch lit you know I mean uh I just see myself still doing what I do still doing shows still um still doing music you know what I mean because five years from now me I ain't gonna be that old you know I mean uh I see myself still representing you know I mean this Bay Area [ __ ] this Oakland [ __ ] um putting my stamp in the game man and just uh keeping it lit man you feel me yeah not to cut your wisdom short bro uh but I think [ __ ] like you are embedded in music culture like you will never be too old to not release music and then it's like you have an original sound like you having an orthodox sound to where it can't be matched so you know you can recreate your flow recreate yourself however many times you want to you get what I'm saying so that's just my opinion I don't think uh like I interviewed Too Short a couple of months back and he said at 56 he's making more money in the last two years than he did in his whole career yeah so you feel me and you're nowhere near 56. so you feel me I believe as if like I said a [ __ ] if your statue should be able for sure yeah um I want to ask you about flowers um give me three people off the top of your Dome you want to get flowers too uh I'll give you fives [ __ ] huh hmm good question I would I would definitely say uh you you know I mean absolute um styling salute Mozzy salute young guap dance and young J.R salute imagine what that song would sound like yeah yeah man my list could go on and on but she's off the top yeah for sure definitely want to give y'all do a y'all flowers man for sure I appreciate it I don't want to keep you for hell alone man um I appreciate you for sitting down with me part two and three yeah I already told nephew that um blood we ain't gonna even play these games no more my [ __ ] hit me we pulling up and we're gonna knock it out like boxing on my mom oh yeah just before we cut um I've never seen this [ __ ] in my life um we in the store YG and tank out here shooting the video we in the store and um you know I'm paying attention and [ __ ] blah blah blah tiger tap one of his little manager be like hey let's keep the snake um the dude like you know I don't think the dude was familiar he's like who he like Bro [ __ ] it keep the sneak bro like you feel me like you feel me so I'm just watching the play I will do so uh tiger like that's cake right I'm like yeah and it was just to see them like embrace you like that even YG like [ __ ] what like [ __ ] like they talking to me like [ __ ] that's key duh like you feel me but just how we take our Legends for granted like you feel me and that's that's weird on our behalf because um it take a [ __ ] from cultures away when you get what I'm saying to really come and see exactly and uh for me to see that it kind of woke my game up and you know I'm always whenever I see you I'm big brother like I'm stopping whatever I'm doing not even I don't know dick riding none of that [ __ ] um appreciate what came before me and was still here in the now you know um you got a lot of [ __ ] that came up earlier that's washed up right you get what I'm saying for sure no longer relevant right right we still got you hearing it now and you're here to give up this good game or you know just a blessing [ __ ] with features and [ __ ] like you're here yeah for me to see people that's considered as Superstars embrace you like that it was a whole different you get what I'm saying yeah and like I said it wasn't even on no fake [ __ ] uh weeks later they throwing you up [ __ ] just keep right you show me and for me to see that that meant so much because it's like okay [ __ ] we got Hometown Heroes yeah like you feel what I'm saying like I do you know I be seeing memes like um New York got biggie East Coast guy West Coast got Tupac you know Oakland got keep to sleep you get what I'm saying sure so um big salute and big flowers today big bro um I appreciate you for pulling up [ __ ] we gotta do this again and again we're gonna figure it out man and uh it's love man it's all up baby my [ __ ] my brother foreign
