the Eclipse is foremost defining event in berserk in the sense fire brings two unique perspectives to those whose fived guts who internalizes for Horrors via eclipse as the Beast of darkness going on a revenge quest to wage war against all of demon kind and Casca who could not internalize four horrors of eclipse instead the horrific event and a subsequent rape caused her to lose her sanity so here often not discussed about in length and that is Richert Richert is an interesting case although a beloved member of a hawk's he was not involved in B clips itself and therefore is not a sacrifice this provides an interesting contrast to guts and Casca instead of being directly involved Riku could only speculate of what happened that day what could have happened to cause his guts change in demeanor at the Casca to lose her mind entirely the interesting point to know about records perspective on the Eclipse is far he experiences for same consequences without the same effect her Hawks are all ultimately reach the goal of a protector to Erica way earlier when gods did and this is what is so great about record if story in berserk is one of learning to deal with the consequences of actions without learning their effects beforehand and how to live in a world where your closest friends died without rhyme or reason even when Ricker found out about the cause of the Eclipse instead of internalizing this as rage like with guts he instead confronted Griffiths actions without no matter how much if a paradise he has created a ban of a hawk will never be the same I'm building a utopia
