one of the most brutal Kings in history was King Henry VII who would during his reign as the king of England during the Tudor period executes even two of his own wires he was a king who caused chaos there were bells ringing all across England for the king on the 14th of February Henry VII's body was then taken on its final Journey from Whitehall to Windsor Castle where he was buried inside Saint George's Chapel it was said that the vast coffin covered with poles of blue velvet and cloth of gold lay on a chariots drawn by black capris and horses who drew it along roads that had been swept and even widened for the occasion on top of the coffin was a wax Effigy Of The King carved by Nicholas Berlin and cladding Crimson velvets trimmed with Miniver on its head was a crown Atop A night's cap of black satin set full of precious stones it wore chilled bracelets and velvet gloves adorned with rings the king's cortage rested at cyan Abbey where there were rumors that his remains may have exploded and may have even been picked out by dogs but when it arrived at Windsor it took 16 Yeoman of the Guard to carry the very heavy coffin into the church and then lower it into the vault in the choir of Saint George's Chapel Henry was laid to rest alongside Jane Seymour his tragic third wife who died in Hampton Court Palace following giving birth to the king's Heir and Son Edward the safe following the funeral Simon the officers of the king's household broke their staves of office and threw them into the vaults following the coffin there were plans to bury the king in a huge
