oh look at the time it's a new year i wonder if um any youtubers have messed up like they did last year new uploads from ricegum and jake paul mystery boxes couldn't you have waited at least one day yo what is up guys how is everybody doing i'm good ricegum thanks for asking hello everyone i'm alex and welcome back to another video i hope you guys are doing well in today's video we're going to be looking at ricegum because we really do need to stop him and i really mean it this time now a bunch of youtubers have recently partnered up with a brand called mystery box now the basic way this website works is you open boxes they're a mystery you don't know what you're going to get inside them most of the time it's completely [ __ ] in the hand reds nightlight i'm all grown up i don't need a nightlight but the youtubers who watch play this mystery box they're gonna win loads of really cool things and make you want to buy it even though they're getting paid loads of money to promote this absolutely shilling scam of a website first of all it's gambling this is gambling again on youtube they're promoting gambling to underage kids again and you know after the first time youtubers got a sued for that you would think maybe people wouldn't do it again because it's incredibly morally corrupt and no amount of money you get paid surely should be worth destroying the connection with your fan base but no there's nothing youtubers wouldn't do for a bit of money especially when their channels are dying now before we judge this website too harshly let's watch ricegum's video on it and figure out whether we want to try and open some mystery boxes yo what is up guys how is everybody doing man i uploaded two videos in the last two days you haven't seen it go check it out man now when you start this video off if you turn the closed captions on it literally says this is a scam don't watch this video that's a good start when your own fan base and warning people away from watching your content but in all honesty what do you expect when you click on a video that's called how i got airpods for four dollars i mean in the thumbnail it's got the huge words not clickbaits let me just quickly remake that for you ricegum there we go i think this one's a bit better suited to this video i want to switch it up a little bit do something different so me and mystery brand actually teamed up if you don't know what it is i love when these guys do these sponsorships they always say stuff like oh we partnered up we don't declare this as a sponsored video you know saying that you're being paid for it that would already make people think it's a huge scam wouldn't it no we really like each other like we're really good and and we clearly use this website all the time i'm always gambling away my riches which is why i've gambled my entire career on probably around 50 to 100 grand now i've taken sponsorships on my channel many times before but i'd never [ __ ] take a gambling one because to promote something where you're not even guaranteeing a service to your audience anyway is a really odd shady thing to do and also most of the people watch my videos are pretty young and they're legally not allowed to walk into a casino so why should i be pushing something that they legally wouldn't be able to use in the real world onto them in their youtube videos oh hang on i've just gotten easy through my ear it's gonna be paid loads of money to do it yeah my manager just sent me an email he's telling me to be quiet keep on taking brand deals that pay loads of money who cares about the viewers all right sorry about that guys um have you heard of mystery band i guess you buy a mystery box you open it and you get like one random either dope item or bad item it's like a mystery it's a surprise right oh and i believe like the top area is like the live winner like at this moment in time people are like you know getting random stuff like some of you just wanna apple lightning to usb all right wow an apple lightning to usb in a 15 box well i suppose that's actually probably cheaper than apple would actually sell those for so maybe you can go for a profit but just because a website chucks a bunch of stuff on the top of the screen going trust me guys people do win these when you read the comments i'm up all these videos and everybody's saying i didn't get anything hey price go i didn't get anything rice rice i haven't received anything i spent a lot of money on my mum's credit card i'm legally not allowed to do this i've got no money left you start to think does anybody actually seem to win anything or receive anything on this website now one of the reasons why this website is a complete scam anyway is because most of these gambling websites normally contain a system that lets you know the odds you have of winning the chances you have to actually win an item whether you believe them or not that's up to you don't don't trust them now mystery brand do have this actually on their website they're one of the very few mystery brand box websites that actually do and they've got a provably fair system whatever that means so apparently i enter a bunch of information in here i verify it and then the website will tell me that it's fair i guess oh i trust them a lot i think the real provably fair system is just trying to figure out if anybody's actually received any of their items and just reading the comments and kids fall for this you know they read that and they go oh okay cool yeah this is real yeah of course he's a real now it's even better when you get to see people like ricegum sitting here opening these and winning shoes ricegum's wanted some shoes he's got loads of those already doesn't he he's always showing off his [ __ ] shoes that's what he does on his youtube channel it's [ __ ] boring it's boring we know you've got shoes mate why are you acting like you actually care about these all right you've got some shoes now and you've made 140 i mean you put a lot of mid-rails on this and this is a sponsored video so you've actually not spent anything these youtubers are making it look like they're gambling their own money that's what they're doing on these websites but everybody knows that they're not gambling anything because they've been paid to promote in the first place they're not making a loss from this now ricegum goes on to get some pretty big winners out of this he went to pretty sick craps uh multiple times but some people were digging on the website and found that ricegum was given his own very little box now this is a very normal thing that these websites seem to do i've seen it happen in the cs go websites before well they'll give somebody a little box of their own name on and people can use that box by that box other people can use it but when the youtuber uses that box the guys on the back end are sponsoring the video they know they know who's logged on they can see the user id and they know when that person is opening mystery boxes so they rig them they rig them nine times out of ten they'll make it look like they've lost a few they'll give them some big hitters there you go you got a cool video out of that promote it on your channel and all i could see is that ricegum has been giving his unboxing on here and i can't tell you if that is exactly what's happened but based off the fact that this website seems to be a complete scam in the first place because they're selling houses on it win a house or win loads of in-game money so you can carry on betting on our website don't leave our website even when i suppose i'm gonna get out of the way and say that this website probably rigged the results because nine times out of ten they do well guys i've got something really cool to show you i actually have my own little mystery box right here oh is it shoes it might be shoes give me something man yo i'ma try again guys yo i'm gonna just keep going at it why not oh hang on it seems like i've just got a bunch of rice gums content there's absolutely nothing inside it you can sell it back for 2 000 and buy even more boxes bro i bought the box for 75 you know what i'm saying it's tragic because not only is he promoting gambling to a young audience he's promoting people actually staying on the website and trying to make a living from it as if you just keep on buying and selling and buying and selling so he's actually encouraging a gambling addiction and gambling addictions ruin lives now imagine you're 12 and it's your mother's credit card you're going to ruin your entire family's life because ricegum really likes shoes like if they give me a fidget spinner one more time bro i'm punching my monitor i'm just gonna have airpods yo i'd be still having the cords like i don't even have these yet i spent four dollars for this you know i just finessed the website oh you finessed the site did you because you're making loads of money back off the of the website you finessed them how much was the brand deal how much was the brand how much did they pay you yeah i don't think you finessed the site mate this video is just one huge lie that's all this is he's lying to people he's lying to people about the reasons why he actually wants to win these products he's lying about the amount of money he's actually making off of this website and he's lying about the fact that you could actually receive them because then ricegum pretends to win a box they gave me a ten thousand dollar purse i like i'm gonna ship all the shoes that i wanted stuff to the house and we're gonna do an unboxing all right guys a couple days passing when i opened up the mystery box i was excited and stuff but like i didn't physically have the items right because they sent it to your house wow you shipped the shoes to the house just like that and it's still dark outside it's still dark outside but you're wearing a different jacket so guys a few days have passed and uh we're back opening all the mystery boxes i wonder what shoes i got oh even better guys i opened the apple one and i got a cool new macbook what he's done is he's gonna put a bunch of his own items he already owns because let's face it he owns all of this [ __ ] anyway and he's put it in a box and he's just cut to another room with jason's jacket and said here you go guys proof that this stuff actually arrived i've already got the money in my bank account i don't actually care if it turns up these i remember in specific i spent four dollars i spent four dollars now let's go like at first i was like is this a scam i don't really know is it a scam what no he didn't he didn't say that in his brand deal did he are you you weren't even convinced you weren't even convinced of the fact that you were actually going to receive these items this is disgusting now this is disgusting behavior this is such a disgraceful video and i can't believe this is still up on the website and it trended youtube trended this youtube trended a video where a guy took a brand deal and went was it convinced if it was actually real or not but i like him i got some airpods now i want to move on because as much as that is amazing what gets better is that ricegum has uploaded an apology video and guess what guys it's tragic i woke up to this man the front page of twitter talking about jake paul and ricegum under fire for promoting gambling site to kids like i don't even want to be associated with this guy and it just doesn't look good and there's no way to start the year like what i just need to clear this up because i don't even think it's a big deal i don't even think it's a big deal from gambling to children what you guys about you cares about turning my fan base into a bunch of gambling addicts illegally because i'm legally not allowed to use a website like this and the products don't even arrive why you had to fake that i had to fake that and even i said it was a scam in my own video but who cares you are so irritating i i hate you i actually don't like you i posted a video where i was promoting this website basically my management just came to me i was like yo rice here's his deal yeah it was one management man nothing to do with me don't blame me management god you can't even apologize properly can you at least ever put five mid roles on this one like you did when you had to apologize for the rape joke you made and on youtube it's like a common thing like when youtubers work with brands and sponsored videos like i've seen shane dawson just i've seen so many youtubers do it yo don't flash up david dobrik and shane dawson man don't flash up two people he generally try and vet the brands for ladies two people are actually respected on the website don't compare yourself to those people you know they're not promoting a gambling website to little children mate don't compare yourself with them flash up syndicate and team art in you know flash up those two that's what you should be doing compare yourself to two people who are done for gambling before and their career is basically completely tainted by it that's what you should be doing compare yourself to those people keemstar actually tweeted saying first big story of 2019 jake paul ricegum gambling blah blah blah but at the bottom he said i was offered 100k to do the same thing and almost took the cash but didn't it so i can't go that hard on oh that's cool you know a game star actually had the moral ability to say no to a brand deal that was a complete scam and you didn't daniel keemstar so apparently they only offer keemstar 100k so my numbers are higher so imagine how much they offered me right imagine why don't you just tell us man why don't you tell us how much they offered you don't have to imagine it you know you know how much money they offered you how much was it ricegum how much was it how much did they actually offer you to promote this absolute chill of a website to your kid fan base i have no words for this this man generally deserves a lawsuit against him but that's how this should go next or or some form of genuine penalty for what he's done this is not a light subject this has been done before and it was huge it was a very big deal and for it to be repeated again it's incredible then what he's just gonna make an apology video and then dance away is that how we're doing it this time but it's just like there's his youtube name reaction type he actually has more subscribers than me i don't know how because he's not cooler than me but anyways he made the same type of video the same type of video like three months ago no one said anything it wasn't a problem back then that's cool they made the same type of video from um and thank you he's also a huge prick you're a huge prick everybody who does one of these videos is a huge prick that is what you've just done i don't care if all the youtubers in the world have done one i do not actually give a [ __ ] about that mate if they have done it then they're equally as pathetic and as much for scumbag as you are and there's not really much else to it now before we end this video i just want to let people know that there's a high chance that all of these youtubers completely and utterly understood what they're getting into when they did this and most of them do not have an excuse these websites are rigged the results are rigged everything they do is rigged the money is massive so the appointment they don't care whether their fan base actually gives them backlash or not because you'll probably just come running back to them anyway and also it's not even real you can't actually win any of these items most people don't even receive them and i think there's only an actual record of maybe like two or three people receiving stuff at this point which is crazy half these youtubers in their own videos have even said it's a scam and let's ignore the fact that they may not know that everything was rigged in a scam in the first place it's illegal to provide a website like this to a young audience like they have a responsibility there's an advertising agency that monitor youtubers who will be on this if you're a youtuber who's taking one of these brand deals honestly shame on you uh it's tragic and you should have a little bit more respect for yourself and your
