Wow. I talk shit about Vancouver's problems often but this is a needed reminder of humility and that no one wants that life.
DW has great documentaries
This is... wow.
I think this is super important for the people who just brush it off as "it can't be really that bad", to watch, especially our suburban folks.
There's a serious problem here and we can't just brush it under the rug.
This doc is also promote safe supply. The footage at the end at Crosstown Clinic is super interesting.
Also a bit of positive humanity at 25:50 mark in the video
When I watch things like this I wonder if I'm going to see my brother. I don't even know if he's still alive.
Really good doc that all Vancouverites should watch
I wonder when we finally admit that fentanyl and all the death and destruction that has come of it is just one of the many ways China is quietly and calculatedly sowing chaos the West. Until we address this, nothing changes.
It's crazy that I've personally had a such a close encounter with fentanyl and after that just realize that shit's fucked. Very successful friend who's married and living in downtown, dropped by to watch UFC and saw a little container on his coffee table. "It's fentanyl" said extremely casually. "Don't touch it though, you could die". Like what the fuckkkkk? Where's the wife? "Oh she's in the bedroom....... high as a kite"
