[Music] [Music] this week with mario marilla out under the tent has been i tell you such a blessing such a blessing and we're in store today earlier in the week i asked mario i said could you come and be with us on sunday and he said yes so he's going to be with us obviously in this service and the next service but i want you to get ready for tonight tonight this place is going to be packed to the rafters tonight we're going to open the doors at 5 30 and i want you to come and be a part of what i believe is going to be a miracle service that lies going to be transformed and lives are going to be changed if you know someone that is in need of a miracle in their life then you need to call them up and you need to say i'm coming to get you and you get people are going to come from all over this valley and literally people have flown into this uh to fresno to be a part of these services so i want you today to welcome my friend a guy that has had an impact on my life since i was just a small little child no no no you'll you'll recognize that in a minute will you welcome our evangelist mario marilla as he comes and shares today mario where are you at here sneak it on me that way bless you my brother hallelujah well everybody get up for jesus right now how maybe you're not ashamed of the gospel of christ because you know it is the power of god you know remain standing a moment i've always been suspicious of the people that go to an early service because they know it has to end on time [Music] and we will end on time but there's a there's a rumor going out that when a church has multiple services the quiet people go to the early one but i don't believe that about you now let's make some noise right now let's make some noise [Applause] [Music] put your hands up in here pray in the language of the holy spirit louder all across this auditorium louder let your body become a weapon of prayer right now a weapon of prayer the fervent prayer of a righteous one avails much this is when your grandchildren get saved this is when marriages are healed this is when the devil remembers what jesus did to him on the cross we thank you we glorify you we bless your holy name all right everybody clap give the lord a shout a shout well i want you to look at the person beside you because this social distancing is really driving me crazy uh look at somebody beside you and say you must be a genius because you decided to sit next to me you must be a genius you didn't even fear the virus you must be a genius [Music] and clap one more time and let's be seated thank you for those of you that i am meeting for the first time i want you to know that for many years i've heard the stories of this great theater and the miracles that god has done in this church i remember the monday night miracle services that were so dramatic i'm up in the bay area in san francisco and i'm hearing about what god is doing through jim franklin in fresno california you know how many of you remember those things for those of you that weren't there during those days one of my best friends in the ministry is a.j nunes who pastors the covenant worship center here in fresno and he was saved on a monday night at cornerstone somebody give god the glory that amazing remembering is a powerful weapon and i want you to look in the owner's manual with me at one verse found in the book of nehemiah the fourth chapter and the 14th verse and they're going to put it up on the blessed tron that's what i call those things and it'll be up there momentarily but the first phrase say it after me and uh i'll i'll read the whole verse with you to you rather and you listen and i looked and arose and said to the nobles the leaders and the rest of the people that crowd that he just described by the way before i read anymore and they could leave it right where it is is in this audience nobles leaders and the rest of the people you're all here and it is typical when a man like me first preaches in a church that they do something uplifting funny entertaining but this morning the lord woke me up and gave me a word for you how many of you believe that truth is the greatest thing you need to hear the truth so the lord gave me this verse and i looked and arose and said to the nobles the leaders and the rest of the people do not be afraid of them remember the lord great and awesome and fight somebody said fight i'm going to say it again say fight for your sons your daughters your wives and your houses all right how many ever been in a fight wrestle you're lying through your teeth right now you try trying to be safe you've been in a fight if you've gone to school you've been in a fight if you have a big family you've been in a fight if you've lived in the inner city you have been in a fight and i remember schoolyard fights how many of you remember those before we got politically correct somebody would start fighting and everybody would run to the fight the whole school it was amazing how big a crowd you could get for a fight david lottie picked on me so bad because i was a scared middle school you know hell is going to be like junior high you're not helping vietnam you're going to be told you're lost forever and they're going to hand you gym trunks man you don't know how many people i've gotten to save when i warned them that hell the flames didn't bother him was a junior high part that got him and i was in middle school he picked on me one day he came into my homeroom class ask your parents what that is uh and he swiped the books off my desk and like a fool i bent over to pick him up and he punched me in the back of my head i was so terrified that i put the books up on top of my desk so he could swipe him again after the third time he said i want to fight you today come by the bike wraps after school i showed up terrified i was trying to get to mexico tried to calculate how long i could walk on one peanut butter and jelly sandwich from lunch so now it's time to fight and the whole everybody showed up it was a big middle school 7 800 students and i mean it was a mob and and he's rolling up his sleeve he's getting ready to put a hurt on me and i'm terrified and i'm going to ask you what starts a fight what starts a fight well i was okay and then he said the magic phrase yo mama to a latino you're not helping me enough that guy looked at me and he said your mama but that still didn't start the fight you see the fight doesn't start when somebody says your mama it's the guy standing behind that goes oh somebody needs to give the lord praise right now am i preaching the truth here gavin newsom said close the church and then the holy ghost said to jim franklin oh somebody give the lord praise [Applause] all right am i right did that not happen today i'm going to speak for a few minutes on a message entitled the end of the beginning in the second world war britain lost three of the first major battles of the second world war and finally montgomery won a battle in north africa and the hope of the nation was stirred it almost was giddy but in order to soberly address the hour in which the british were living winston churchill who john f kennedy said had the power to marshal the english language and set it off to war stood before a nation and told them the facts they were thinking our boys are coming home we won one battle the second world war is going to end soon because the germans were defeated in north africa and rommel was driven off the continent but winston churchill knew better so he said these words this is not the end it isn't even the beginning of the end it is perhaps the end of the beginning what they want for your children in california is something that you as a human being let alone a christian let alone a parent should be fighting with every last drop of your faith not you should be fighting it two days ago a woman made a statement that i cannot begin to digest absorb or even imagine she looked at presidential candidate joe biden and she said this phrase my eight-year-old is transgender what parent says that about their child what has happened to our brains that our child can make a statement to us imagine those of us in a certain age group walking up to our mama and saying mama i'm your son but i think i'm a girl how maybe you know that child would be reminded somebody helped me right when the swelling went down on their rear end but to entertain a child in such a way to me is such a height of child abuse let's call it for what it is that's child abuse i'm going to preach i'm gonna look here's here's what you do amen brother that's the truth right there okay sometimes you have to lead by example has anyone in this room ever met an eight-year-old and here's what biden said i would change the law so that eight-year-old could get a hormone injections if you don't know how to vote you ain't christian no i went there i did it remember the lord remember the bible even though a lot of churches have quit preaching from it remember the lord and fight everybody look at me i'm going to say it again remember the lord and fight remember the lord and fight first samuel 17 verse 10 i'm just going to read the philistines said i defy the armies of israel today give me a man that we may fight together and saul and all of israel heard these words of the philistines they were dismayed and greatly afraid i'm going to read another set of verses it's numbers 13 verse 33 and when we saw the giants we were like grasshoppers in our own eyes and therefore we were as grasshoppers in their eyes these two incidences and episodes in history recall something very important the day when a nation was frozen by fear the day when a nation allowed something worse than what they were afraid of to happen because of their fear do i believe that the chinese flu is real yes i do do i believe that it has killed people yes it has but now we are at a point where the lockdown and the closing of the church is killing more people than the coronavirus so what does that tell you ladies and gentlemen what does that tell you this is not about stopping a virus this is about stopping the church i'm going to say it again i don't care who hears it this is not about stopping a virus this is about stopping the church and let me tell you what god just said on this rock i will build my church on this rock i will build my church and the gates of hell and sacramento will not prevail [Music] how may be ready to fight raise your hand how may be ready to fight this is a message now for our folks at home if you will not get back in church during this season for certain you will not when the church is finally declared illegal if you do not get back in church in this season you will not get back in church when it is illegal the church is essential costco is not the church is essential home depot is not the church is essential planned parenthood is not the first time that you got on a jet during this shutdown and everybody was sitting shoulder to shoulder you knew they were lying to the church you knew it now i'm going to tell you what jeremiah said for our folks at home the church is based on two greek words that are very powerful the greek philosophers observed these two phenomena and invented words the first was the phenomenon of when christians are together in one place the greek philosopher said there is such joy there is such joy did you know that the christians were so committed in ancient in the ancient times that it was a figure of speech to say if you were going to separate something that it was impossible to separate it was a figure of speech he said to separate those two things you might as well separate a christian from christ we were deemed inseparable and when they watched the believers how they were joyously how have you ever been somewhere and you meet a stranger in an airport a hotel a restaurant and you find out that they love jesus just like you do you know immediately is there not an instant friendship and instant fellowship it's like you've known them all your life well the greeks saw that and they came up with a word koinonia look at how they enjoy each other look at how and it's time to get back in the house of god and enjoy each other now i'm not going to try it again it's time to get back in the house of god and to enjoy each other we put up this tent they told us we probably couldn't do it that's always been a kind of a rule of my life i do the things that people say i cannot do how maybe you got friends you know i'm gonna tell you about friends i have two categories of friends a good friend and a best friend how do you decide in the world what that is well a good friend is somebody you can call at three in the morning and they'll come bail you out of jail but a best friend is sitting in the cell with you going wasn't that fun [Music] how many of you are having a good time so far are you are you this is how you have to preach when you're in jim franklin's church otherwise you get mowed over you you'll go over like a pregnant pole vaulter if you try to that's funny i don't care who you are if you will not go to church during a flu you will most certainly not go when it's illegal so you don't realize this but you've already decided those of you at home that you're basically going to live your christianity in private because if you think gavin newsom is doing this to stop a virus then how do you explain that he was trying to ban the bible before he did this and what makes you think he doesn't have some trick up his sleeve after this so it's time for the church to tell gavin newsom it whether we're to obey god or man you decide but we cannot help somebody help we cannot help but speak the things which we've both seen and heard how many of you have gotten too much of jesus to turn back now how many of you been a little too saved to give up now how many of you have gotten too big of a miracle to keep your mouth shut how many of you got something to shout about something to believe in [Applause] that's right [Applause] and you say well mario how are you going to justify what you just said by the bible jeremiah 12 5. if you've run with footmen and they wearied you how will you contend with horses and if in the land of peace in which you trusted they wearied you then how will you do in the flood plain of jordan there's a flood coming somebody told me christians said man once trump trump wins i said once trump wins if you're counting on that it's only the end of the beginning we've got judges mayors governors all across america that have sold themselves to not only atheism but there is a camaraderie between them and now the temple of satan you don't realize that the left is enjoying belonging to the temple of satan even though they're atheists the reason they enjoy it is they read the seven tenets of the temple of satan and in the temple of satan which is different than satanism they don't really worship the devil they see him as a role model as a hero who opposed the system so now it's the reason we heard them boo at one of their conventions and the reason we saw them take god out of the pledge of allegiance when they said it is because it's becoming very clear this election is no longer right or left conservative or liberal it's good versus evil you know and i you know i i'm gonna stop there and then now i'm gonna finish here because i think that you need to know that god is visiting fresno you know i had lunch with the mayor the other day and i told him i said mayor revival is coming to fresno i said revival's coming i said our average attendance in the tent six nights in a row was a thousand people two of the three of the nights we went nearly to twelve hundred they're coming tonight we're gonna have a fiery service and look i already looked at the tv guide to see if i had competition and i wanted to give you a late news bulletin everything on tv tonight is stupid very stupid now so since you got the inside track you want to come early i'm going to close now with a thought that i think is very important your generation is going to decide the fate of people of faith in america not just in an election but in the open opposition to ideas that are lies from the pit of hell we need fathers to guide their families we need morality to come back to this law if you want justice if you want murder rates to drop then we need a moral awakening listen to me california is the strangest place on earth the only place where the environment the environmentalists have helped destroy the forest their stupid ideas remember when california's environmentalists wanted clean air well they brought us more smoke in less time than all the la smog in history because of their the bible says why in romans 1 being thinking themselves wise they became fools [Music] in abandoning god we've lost it all in restoring god we'll get it back so when the bible says remember the lord remember the lord remember what it was like when christianity was strong in california remember what we were like when there was an azusa street when there was an amy mcpherson when there was a billy graham there was a era of power and you know what god has got an even bigger era of power in the future for california how many of you want to fight for it raise your head you know i'm going to ask you a question because the lord told me to preach this sermon the greatest day of your life is when jesus saved you if that's true wave your hand at me it's only when god opens your eyes to tell you what this state is trying to stop that right there they when they told the church you're not essential they lost sight of one fact we are the single most essential institution in the state of california yeah we are well mario the church is in a building a christian said to me and i said that's true what are you trying to say though well we don't need to meet in a building [Music] i said well for that sake let's move all the hospital beds out in the parking lot [Music] you know why we meet in a building for wherever two or three are gathered in my name there i am we are the only movement in the history of the world where the founder of the movement attends every meeting that's right and when you look at a church seat look at these chairs [Music] the unsinkable molly brown got in a lifeboat and noticed it was half full when the titanic was singing sinking and she could hear people screaming in the water and the man in charge of the lifeboat she was in said we got to keep moving and she said you're going to turn this boat around because i can't live with an empty seat in this boat you know people think that wanting a church to be full is a bad deal but in the book of luke jesus described a rich man that gave a banquet and everybody he invited didn't show up he got so mad that he took his staff and rewrote all of their job descriptions you're no longer my baker my gardener you no longer polish my brass you are all going to go out into the highways and byways [Music] and then he said the word the word that will kill every excuse of you staying home my house must be full jesus said it he looked at the his staff and he said it is not tolerable my house must be full that's what we're fighting for that's why tonight i've told the leaders of this city i am going to directly challenge the forces of evil in fresno by having a sunday night where every seat is taken and we're going to videotape it and we're going to live stream it to the whole world to tell the american church let my people go let my people go i think i've got five minutes that is that right yeah be seated we gotta we're gonna finish this look at the chair next to you that's empty we're going to talk about furniture just for a moment [Music] that chair is the best piece of furniture in all the world that is better than a louis xv antique chair right there that chair you say mara why is that because of what can happen in that chair let's compare it to a psychiatrist couch where you lay back why would you pay 300 an hour for somebody to talk to you who may be crazier than you are [Music] when the word of god says that they found the demoniac clothed and in his right mind when you know the word of god says god has not given us a spirit of fear but of love power and a sound mind now in a psychiatrist couch you can dig up your past you can find out about your phobias but in a church chair the fire of god can fall on you and get rid of your bad childhood in one touch one touch am i preaching it well let's compare it to a hospital bed i may be like the church chair better than the hospital bed well you can push the button and call the nurse and you can make it rise up and down and you can look at all the stupid channels in there but you're hearing people up and down the halls and you're feeling death people said it's a cruel thing to raise the hope of a sick person by inviting them to a miracle service and they might not be healed i said even if they're not healed they're in there where the music is inspiring where there's love all around them where they can have the seed of faith put in them and in very likely cases they're going to get up and walk and their cancer is going to disappear how many of you like the church chair better than the hospital bed come on clap real loud right now this is the best piece of furniture in the world [Music] so i was preaching in a town when all the prostitutes drug addicts and dealers were getting saved people were arriving at five o'clock in the afternoon for a seven o'clock service and one night the pastor came in the office [Music] and he told me that a minister a senior deacon from a modernist church was going to be there to take notes on my sermon because he thought i was a fraud and i walked out and it wasn't hard to find him he was the one in the suit and you know sometimes sometimes i just rebuke people and i looked at him and i said sir right over here i looked at him and i said sir you know what makes me mad it's not that you're taking notes thinking i'm a fraud but it's that your butt is in a seat that might have been inhabited by a drug addict getting saved you're taking up space look at me the church chair is the best piece of furniture in the world you're not helping me enough and we have got to fill this house and we've got to fill it every sunday help me somebody and you all need to get over your fear and your doubt and all the lies that you're being told and say you know what you come on down to the house of god because jim franklin has got a word from god that is going to heal your family take away your suicide he's going to lift you up it's going to make you strong hallelujah hallelujah fight fight this thing fight it fight it in a moment i'm going to ask pastor jim franklin to come and conclude this service but i wonder if i could ask you a favor i've written a best-selling book called vessels of fire and glory and i even autographed it for you already see there and that's a gimmick it's a gimmick to get you to buy the book and the reason i want you to buy the book is because you need to hear what the nation is saying about this book this has been called by many one of the most the entire world and let me tell you you'll find it above joyce meyer and right below rick warren a spirit-filled fiery book you can get a copy for 15 and that's all i've got to say about that but i want you to put your hands in the air right now [Music] turn the lifeboat around and go get the rest of the people [Music] know that this seat is bigger than a hospital bed or a couch understand that jesus quoted the man in the banquet said my house must be full and don't you dare tell me i can't bring in the homeless and the broken and the lost teenager into the house of god because of something that point zero zero two percent of the state has that has a 98 percent cure rate and for that we're going to kill the the congregation's hope no sir we're gonna move we're gonna move keep your eyes closed as pastor jim franklin comes right now you're not here by accident today tonight is going to be a great service but today right now god is speaking to you you didn't wander in here simply again by coincidence this is a divine appointment with god and we've talked about what the government wants to do to shut down the church let me tell you the devil wants to shut your life down some of you should get to the point that you're sick and tired of being sick and tired i'm tired of my life being shut down i'm tired of not having any hope not having any victory i'm i'm sick and tired of what the enemy has done to my life i want hope i want victory and that can only be found through jesus christ so i'm going to pray right now when i get through praying and say man i'm going to ask those of you that are here today that would say pastor i want a change in my life i need jesus tired of what has happened i i want that freedom i want that hope i've got something far worse than covert 19. i've got sin and i meet up with it and there's a cure for it and it's the blood of jesus so i get through praying and saying man if that's you and you say pastor i want that change in my life and i simply want you to raise your hand i want you to let god know that you've heard the voice of the lord not the voice of man but you've heard the voice of the lord and you want that change in your life i'm praying right now and saying why do you need to pray because i tell you right now the devil doesn't want you to respond to this and i'm going to take authority over the power of darkness because i believe in the authority of jesus christ and the power of the holy spirit that sets the captive free and some of you while i'm praying today are going to sense that power and say i want that in my life and don't you hesitate don't you wait [Music] you signal to the lord lord i am ready so father i pray right now in the name that is above every name in the name of jesus god i pray for each one that is here there are those that have wandered into this place today those that could not wait for this sunday they didn't even know that we had a special guest they just knew they needed to be in the house of the lord some lord have come in and their heart has been stirred by the word that has been given and now they are ready to respond to you they are ready to surrender their life to you and to walk out of this place different than what they came so jesus i thank you that just a moment when i say amen they're going to be men and women young people across this auditorium they're going to raise their hand and say yes i want jesus i want to change i i want a change in my life i need the whole billy christ can give father thank you for the victory that is now come on church pray with me right now there's a miracle that's about to take place in the name of jesus god thank you for hands that are about to be raised in jesus name amen [Music] uh
