turquoi oh Hello everybody welcome to another anime uh reaction here on the genre versus YouTube channel it's AVR squared and we're here to do our our Eminence and Shadow episode 20 reaction it's it's all over it's over no hopefully we're gonna get some more but yeah we're we're here to do our imminence and Shadow episode 20 reaction season one finale I'm gonna speak season two into existence uh uh novel or Manga there is material for a second season apparently there's even some rumors about a 12 episode second season but uh nothing official so we we got hope fingers crossed fingers crossed I almost don't want to push play if I don't if I don't push play then then it's not over right I know but then why would you want to sit on the episode and never watch it get over yourself I know I know you guys ready to do do this I want to do I do before we get started I do want to say uh I can't remember who first suggested it um but thank you we we have really enjoyed this uh uh series everyone from it she's the one that moved it it's only a big deal because her voice is way quieter than mine and uh these are very directional really loudly I was in the Army I grew up in a Malone household that's true your sister talks loud too yeah I grew up in a Malone household we all yell [Music] he just walks by it he's having so much fun showing off [Laughter] geez dude really foreign [Laughter] he said you needed help [Laughter] it's still not enough now he's behind you again how is how is he able to actually keep himself calm in this moment because you know inside he's just got to be like squealing like I know but he's got a little girl it's Gotta look cool it's like so many dreams coming true at once [Laughter] just wait until he starts dual wielding [Laughter] I don't remember if if it's already been outed that uh IRS and Alexis Alexia's dad is a bad guy or is that just my theory I think it's just my theory but I wonder if they know he's a bad guy man wherever this guy goes the he is dual wielding with the Crowbar I just realized that that is so cool nice nice tie back to the uh to the beginning [Laughter] I mean that wasn't very enthusiastic it's gonna be weird with you having well no a lot of the girls have the hots for him I was gonna it's gonna be odd for you having the hots for your for your boss but several of them do that's the whole that's a whole thing or yeah admire but she's got more of a an infatuation I guess you would say who are you again yes in a fight like this outside of a tournament anything goes yeah no no his eyes are glowing that's never good not for the not for the local local area is it just me or does some of the animation look a bit different like their faces and stuff maybe they're just using more no his face looks very different at least from a distance maybe it's something that he he's doing on purpose to so they don't see Sid as clearly I guess damn I mean it was nice I know right this is a nice try though she's got the digital lines going oh she managed to hit the weapon out of his hand damn dude uh [Music] another kingdom I mean he is the shadow guy so he can do whatever the hell he he wants if you haven't if you haven't realized that I know he changes look you can do whatever like just sending you do whatever he wants I never know what he's laughing at yeah oh oh no guys run now now you need to run oh God he's gonna say it a third time that's a big area of effect though dude yeah foreign [Music] oh God here we go but why man like this this is such Overkill oh boy it's even more digital in the ears thank you now damn dude okay what what why I'm so confused I mean what he's trying to do show off I guess really infuriate them man yeah he just wanted them to know I could if I wanted to and she cannot take that she can't beat him wow oh yeah the villain he created a while ago damn yeah now you got issues [Music] mirror mirror on the wall why does it look like a TV screen and you have line like scan lines going through it I'm guessing it's a magic thing and you know it reminds me of um uh because I was gonna say how awful would it be to have uh uh you know video calls in your mirror and then I remembered that that is actually a thing they got those mirrors with displays uh but built into them and I'm I'm sure some of them can do video video calls but then it reminded me of a Spaceballs when uh uh um president skrug or scrub scrub is in the bathroom and and the video call comes in on the mirror in the bathroom yeah good good stuff funny good movie thank you we hate found just when you thought she couldn't get less clothing on next time there'll just be some pasties over the nips and a piece of tape over the crotch [Laughter] Delta brisk thank you no he has to yeah he's on the Run man he's on the run to try to earn some money and pay back yeah man you were a little too into danger well and Sid was seriously showing he's like I was a little too conspic no yeah dude you you were over the top foreign there's a giant statue of him what the hell did he make that or is he did he uh frame himself in the image of this I have no idea yeah that's there's so many of them foreign he just spreads his slime around anywhere doesn't he she's evil and now she's naked so he touched she was a bit too infatuated with him it'll be okay I promise laughs I don't know that's really hard to deal with I have no doubt real military training is not that intense as far as let go of everything you had it's it's let go of everything you had for nine weeks yeah and and today it's not even not even that uh that difficult with phone calls all the time and cell phone access and wimps oh my my group of basic trainees was was wimps compared to your dad and my dad going through in the 80s you don't have to be alone you just enjoy it you're ever going to return that piano right just gonna sit on this for a bit and again all the all the poor birds that are featherless in the cities just so he can have moments like that is that it is that it do we get something that says uh more coming season two confirmed any anything or or is that truly that truly it I think that's truly it holy crap guys we're we're done we're finished with with uh imminence and Shadow I liked it Christine I did too but now I'm sad now you're sad okay well you know one thing that we always like to uh do whenever we uh finish up these these uh uh series is of course uh grade them talk a bit about about them uh so I uh as far as like artwork is concerned I think this was a wonderfully animated uh series I really really enjoyed all of it fight scenes look smooth uh CGI usage is is no no uh uh real big issue sure there's some parts where it doesn't look as good as other parts but that's every project with CGI uh what do you think about the the animation side I thought it looked really good uh very well done music I I like the use of what they do use but none of it is like uh none of it's like standout you know what I'm saying yeah I wouldn't consider it mind-blowing but yeah it's a solid anime sound soundtrack uh soundtrack the opening is fine uh uh the ending was fine um they haven't made my way to the to the playlist uh but solid solid production value value all around so Christine uh what would you grade season one imminence and Shadow an A okay yeah that's kind of where I'm I'm at in between an A minus and an a uh I and I'm leaning towards a and the only only reason why I would say potentially a minus is just some some pacing issues in in certain episodes for something that is only 20 episodes you almost feel like uh uh maybe you could have made it 18 and made it a little just more tighter to trim some of the fat yeah yeah to trim some of the fat but not none of it's offensive none of it's bad I mean it is such a great show and I cannot wait uh for hopefully uh an announcement of of a uh uh season two really soon hopefully not uh having to wait that long I know that's always painful it's always painful we've been waiting on on Dr Stone for for years now that that little uh um reuse reuse Ryu sui special from last year was not enough I don't I can't wait you guys address we will be covering Dr Stone uh new world uh here on uh AVR squared and AVR because well Dr Stone is just the and it's why this this uh show exists I'm all ABR and and then eventually
