good evening i'm so glad you're tuning in to join me this evening tonight we're going to be continuing our look at the feast of tabernacles in particular as the title slide said the eighth day or shmini atsuret that eighth day of assembly so as we look at that the feast of tabernacles i'm would encourage you to go to last week's class if you haven't seen it the feast of tabernacles and check it out because there may be some things that uh will help you to understand what we're going to talk about this evening but i'll i'll probably cover a lot of it and give you a summary but for some of the details it might be a good idea to check out last week's class to help understand what we're talking about this week but we're going to continue our study and our look at the feast of tabernacles this joyous season of the lord tabernacling with us and we'll be in the book of leviticus a lot of the chapter 23 again so if you have your bibles go ahead and get them started and while you get your bibles let's go ahead and go to the lord and some prayer avinu shabbat shaman our heavenly father lord we just thank you for this season of our rejoicing this time that we get to recognize who you are in our lives the provision your care this honeymoon season of getting to know you and getting to know ourselves in the process lord i asked lord as we go through this study that you would just anoint this time that your spirit would be upon me that uh all things that would come out of this for each and every one of us would be enlightening and glorifying to your uh to your plan to your cosmic redemption plan for the individual redemption plan i ask lord for understanding uh discernment and wisdom as we go through this study we give you all the praise and honor in yeshua's name in jesus name we pray amen all right so uh we're gonna start in leviticus 27 so let's uh get up our first slide so the feast of tabernacles last week we ended um with a teaser of the fact that we didn't get to this last day of the feast of uh tabernacles and the eighth day um here we read in leviticus 23 verse 34 through 36 it says speak to the sons of israel saying on the 15th day of the seventh month is the feast of boozed for seven days to the lord on the first day is a holy convocation you shall do no laborious work of any kind for seven days you shall present an offering by fire to the lord on the eighth day you shall have a holy convocation and present an offering by fire to the lord it is an assembly you shall do no laborious work so here is the feast of uh booze the feast of tabernacles sukkot we've discussed that this is in the seventh month tishri it is the culmination of the feast of the lord within scripture in this chapter chapter 23 uh it is the final holiday if we were to put it in that perspective and and we start all over again in the spring with pesach or passover so there's something significant about the positioning and the timing of this holiday and feast and it has something to do with uh the end and um the beginning uh so it is an exciting time um uh and and it's a it's it's an important time for us to understand oh uh this spring feast have all been um as we understand it uh completed and fulfilled um by yeshua jesus is coming it is these fall feasts that uh there is an idea that they have still yet to come and hopefully you have joined me from rosh hashanah or yom teruah the feast of trumpets the day of atonement yom kippur and the feast of tabernacles sukkot to hear how yes they are yet to be completely fulfilled that is completely filled with the truth and culmination of history but that they are things for us to experience now to understand now to celebrate now as believers as uh the body of messiah and this this eighth day is no nothing different uh so we're hopefully we'll have some fun so uh like i said this is shimini atsuret that means the eighth day of assembly oh it didn't highlight assembly there um it's the eighth day of assembly we have this seven day feast and then an eighth day uh traditionally in our synagogues we celebrate simba torah which is the rejoicing in the torah or rejoicing in god's word it's a great celebration where we actually have reached the end there's a lexical reading of the first five books of the bible that is through genesis through deuteronomy those first five books and then we we get to the end of deuteronomy to start over the reading back at genesis 1 1 and this is torah we re-roll the scrolls go all the way back it's a wonderful fun celebration of the fact that we're we're diving back into god's word to study it again it's uh always going to have new revelation so it's a joyous time of rejoicing in the fact that god gave his revelation of his word for us so that we would know who he is who we are and what's good for us and what is holy what is a blessing and and uh all those wonderful things so torah is traditionally celebrated at this time uh as well on this on this eighth day i want to point out there's something interesting that happens uh in this chapter of 23 chapter 23 of leviticus and it has to do with the numbering of days here we see in the feast of tabernacles it is a seven day festival and on the first day is a holy convocation a sabbath and then on the eighth day there is a holy convocation now um when reading this it it really jumped off the page to me that there was an eighth day and what i mean is that the chapter we'll see jeff beckett go to the beginning of chapter 23 we have it here uh verse one it starts out with the sabbath the numbering of the days of the week and it says the lord spoke again to moses saying speak to the sons of israel and say to them the lord's appointed times which you shall reclaim as holy cow convocations my appointed times my moadim are these for six days work may be done but on the seventh day is a sabbath of complete rest a holy convocation you shall do no laborious work it is a sabbath to the lord in all your dwellings for six days work may be done so this is that weak day and on the seventh day we rest this is a throwback to creation god created the heavens and the earth you know in seven days and rested on or six days and rested on the seventh day so there's this idea of a week and then at seven and then what we do is we start over again on the first day of the week and uh we go from seven to one at the end of this chapter we're gonna see that it goes from seven to eight and the rest of the now i i'm going to point out something about the numbering and how we look at this but to me jumped right off the page and i think it helps us to understand why the feast of tabernacles is at the seventh month it is a a picture of the renewal the seventh month being a renewal rest rejuvenation cleansing a return to a close relationship with god and then uh we go through the rest of the the calendar but this seven is the culmination and then we're to go and we start over just like we reroll the torah we start over here at the seventh month to begin all again we don't go into what is presumably the eighth and in this context i'm pointing out that it's going to be the eighth day we start out with the idea of counting days within a week now the next few times that we talk about uh numberings it's all going to be in the context of something different uh so stick with me and and uh just just hear me out for a second passover it talks about this by verses five through eight in the first month on the fourteenth day of the month at twilight is the lord's past over then on the fifteenth day of the same month there is a feast of unleavened bread to the lord for seven days you shall eat unleavened bread on the first day you shall have a holy convocation you shall do no you shall not do any lord boreous work but for seven days you shall present an offering by fire to the lord on the seventh day is a holy convocation you shall not do any laborious work now so key things happening here we've got seven days we also have a 14th day um but i highlight in here the 14th day of the month so what it's saying here it doesn't say actually yom and hebrew yom in hebrew is day and it says which is the month so 14th of the month it doesn't say 14th day it says 14th of the month but we know con contextually it's the 14th day of the month but it doesn't say the 14th day of uh the week um it it it's it's numbering within a month for seven days this holiday is celebrated the first uh of it is a um is a shabbat and the last is a shabbat a holy convocation so in essence what we're seeing here is this seven day counting as it relates to a week and then within a month it will go into larger numbers um here on the seventh day is a holy convocation again so it's counting for seven days uh the festival is going which is different for the feast of tabernacles feast of weeks now this just is doing counting within the numbers of weeks from a particular day verse 15 you shall also account for yourselves from the day after the sabbath from the day when you brought in the sheaf of the wave offering there shall be seven complete sabbaths so here we're having seven be that very important number again for completion you shall count 50 days to the day after the seventh sabbath then you shall present a new grain offering to the lord so this is actually a a hint to the fact that there might be an extra day after the counting of seven um this would be the year of jubilee the 50th year so there's 49 seven times seven and then there's going to be this extra time but that's not about the days here uh feast of trumpets and the feast or the day of atonement put it in this way speak to the sons of israel in the seventh month on the first day of the month you shall have a rest a reminder of the blowing of trumpets so it's the first day of the month and verse 27 on the exactly the tenth day of the seventh month it's in the context of the month again is the day of atonement it shall be a holy convocation for you and you shall humble your souls and present an offering by fire to the lord all right so these are all still when it's saying these these days that are higher than seven uh they're all in this idea of the month this is where um i would illustrate that there is a uh uh something that is trying to be highlighted on the days of the week and how we should say this seems very different the opening of leviticus 23 this is where i get my inclusios or my bookends so we're introduced with the days of the week six days and then the seventh day is rest and we end with the conclusion of the list of the feast of of feasts of the lord now this is the chapter goes on for a little bit and it recounts it does a double telling of the feast of booze but as it as it concludes uh it ends with the feast of tabernacles so here's our inclusio our book ends starts with the days of the week going from six to seven and here it goes from seven to eight and it really jumps to me off the page when we went right to passover when it was seven to seven this is a seven day feast that goes to the seventh day and we have a holy convocation this last one this concluding one in the seventh month of all goes from seven to eight so what's the point what are you trying to get at well if the normal counting and the counting in which we look at a week is seven days and we start all over again an eighth day is as if we're stepping out of the bounds of the week out of the bounds of time into a completely new existence and so here i'll give it to you the idea of the eighth day is that we step from time into eternity and you think about that in the context if you were there for the feast of tabernacles we see and we know that the feast of tabernacles is that ultimate festival that ultimate time where the lord says he is going to come and renew all things it is the garden of eden all over again it is the re the restoration the beginning of something something new and that is the return of the lord so i i think you heard me but the leviticus 23 and the reason i went through all the different feasts to help you to see is that there is a context if there's anything that's going above the the numbering of seven it is in the context of a month we know there's 30 days about uh in every month in the lunar calendar and here it's in the context of a week these bookends there is seven seven seven and here we're jumping into the eighth day and i'm suggesting that this is a picture of stepping from time normal time that week that we're we're used to seven days and we start over lord says it's not going to start over anymore we're stepping into and something completely new and that is the eighth day so last week i brought out uh the picture of the feast of tabernacles in yeshua uh the annunciation of his well the the incarnation of his birth john puts it this way and the word john 1 14 and the word became flesh and dwelt among us that is tabernacled among us and we saw his glory as the glory of the only begotten father of the father full of grace and truth john testified about him and cried about out saying this it was he of whom i said he who comes after me has a higher rank than i for he existed before me for of his fullness we have all received grace upon grace for for the law has was given through moses and grace and truth were realized through yeshua messiah no one has seen god at any time the only begotten god who is in the bosom of the father he has explained it so you see underneath that scripture here we have on this side our present reality so this this what john is letting us know what yokanan is telling us when he's writing this the word became flesh god became flesh he was the incarnate son the son of god he's god himself he came and dwelt among men the purpose of god creating all of this the garden of eden was that he created space and time a place for to place man in the garden that he could come and dwell and have a relationship with him the picture of the mishkan the picture of that um tabernacle in the wilderness is that god was making a place that he could dwell in the midst of his people his covenant people the ones that he is in a relationship with the temple is the picture of god dwelling in the nation in the midst of his people again it's always been god's desire to dwell with them here yeshua is the incarnate god coming and dwelling in person uh with his people that was his desire our present reality is to know that god is with us that he came and dwelt with us now again last class you'll see that there are two aspects to this dwelling we know from uh tradition jewish tradition that there is mashiach yosef the messiah the son of joseph i didn't mention this last time he is to come as the suffering servant and then there is mashiach ben david the messiah the son of david who is to come as the conquering king so we know that yeshua came as the suffering servant and will as believers will return as the conquering king david in those roles for traditional judaism there to come the mashiach ben yosef and david are supposed to come a lot more closer as one and as two individuals we know through the fulfillment of scripture and what is being demonstrated in the bessera and the good in the good news uh in the gospels that it was one individual coming at two different times for the dwelling and um we see that there is this future understanding and then still yet the future to come in matthew 17 is we talks about our uh future reality and i'll read this again for those that weren't with us last week six days later yeshua took with him peter and james and john his brother and led them up on a high mountain by themselves and he was transfigured before them and his face shone like the sun and his garments became white as light and behold moses and elijah appeared to them talking with them peter said to yeshua lord it is good for us to be here if you wish i will make three tabernacles here one for you and one for moses and one for elijah while he was still speaking a bright cloud overshadowed them and behold a voice out of the clouds said this is my beloved son with whom i am well pleased listen to him so peter as explained before peter was um not this just reckless kind of guy who's just making up things out of the blue but he understood that from zachariah and other scriptures that with the coming of the messiah the messianic reign the kingdom of god that this was associated with um uh with tabernacles with the boos with god dwelling with his people it says in zechariah 14 that the lord when he comes the day of the lord after that everyone will be celebrating uh the feast of booze or feast of tabernacles those would come up of all the nations and so peter understood and saw he's like this is the time this is the kingdom of god yeshua is here he's glorified and this is what we've been waiting for now i didn't put this in but later yeshua was like don't tell anybody because there is yet that time to come he had come and he dwelt he tabernacled as john rightly points out and yet there's still the tabernacling to come so there is the yet that we have experienced of the kingdom we talked about last week and the not yet which is the one that is still to come so we have the present reality of the dwelling of god with us for the purpose of his spirit returning his spirit guiding us in the wilderness we are these boovs that are going around through our time jeremiah 2 talks about this as that honeymoon period we should understand that we feel as if we're in some type of uh what exile or we haven't entered into the promised land but god says look you you're with me i'm with you we're getting to know each other this is a beautiful time where you can depend on me trust in me and develop our relationship as we get to know one another that's what our dwelling in uh this present reality is all about and the cool thing is is that he comes as john 1 says uh and and dwells with us gives us his spirit as uh jeremiah 31 reminds us gives us his spirit so that he might write his torah his his word his him him upon our hearts and opponent in our minds so he has given us so that we would walk in his ways and so we have a taste of that reality right now so the future reality is that there is going to be that big tabernacling where things are all restored as um as peter was anticipating uh but there is the tabernacling that has already occurred so i'm going to move into uh an illustration within scripture to help us maybe even see how this uh how this first and second eighth day or the tabernacling is is important and how he has tabernacled with us and he is uh tabernacling in the future so there's not many places where we talk about the eighth day on doing something and they're the first one that uh perhaps comes to your mind is here in leviticus chapter 12 uh circumcision it says uh leviticus 12 1 then the lord spoke to moses saying speak to the sons of israel saying when a woman gives birth and bears a male child then she shall be unclean for seven days as in the days of her menstruation she shall be unclean verse three on the eighth day um the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised so quick history lesson circumcision was the sign of that covenant relationship that you would have with god you were identified as a male to be part of god's community if you were circumcised if you were outside uh the community uh as scripture says when you go to take a part in the passover meal if you were a soldier or a foreigner you were to be circumcised before you could do that that indicated that you were being part of that redemption being part of that covenant relationship entering in to that covenant relationship with god so that you might be identified with his people more importantly identified with him and so now you're in that relationship the circumcision of the child is also that confirmation that this child is part of that covenant community that covenant relationship they are israel they are a part of god's people and they are sanctified unto the lord now this is the sanctification or the circumcision in the flesh to indicate that they're in this community and it happened on the eighth day so i want you to think about that for a second is that you're entering into this community on the eighth day in fact when you look at the talmud or you look at at any of the writings about um proselytes coming into judaism the conversion process when they would go through it they would go through circumcision and a mikvah or immersion and for women the immersion which we often call baptismal baptism here in in modern times but it would be an immersion or a mikvah or immersion excuse me and and you would enter into the community and however old you were you were uh seen as being a brand new baby born again into god's community now think about that it's all connected to this because you're coming in and you're starting a new life here they're already babies so their new life is completely um going to the lord and it is by no happenstance i believe that the lord does it on the eighth day i know there's medical reasons for it but on the eighth day is to indicate that you're moving from this uh normal existence into an extraordinary existence and relationship eternal relationship with god even here as it's symbolized in this so the seven days of the mother's uncleanness we have uncleanness for that period of time and on the eighth day you're entering into something completely different foreign from what you were born in um david says you know i was brought forth in iniquity um in psalm 51 here it's to show that you know yeah there is this idea that we live in a fallen world that sin does get on stuff that it is an existence which surrounds us that we just step into not through any fall of our own but the lord takes immediate action and we can go ahead and enter into a new and completely different existence on that eighth day into something uh eternal and so it shows here i say entrance into the covenant community and that is definitely for um the picture that we're seeing in in the child being born and in um uh the conversion or proselytizing uh within uh early judaism but you know as we see uh for our future uh in the messianic time the lord said that sign of circumcision that sign that is given is now that of the holy spirit the ruach hakodesh and so that is the testimony of the fact that we enter into the community the circumcised heart is what the lord does he circumcises our hearts softens it gives us hearts of flesh as opposed to the hearts of stone and so we enter into that covenant relationship with him into the covenant community of believers and what we experience the kingdom of heaven here and now so it's a picture of not only entering into this covenant community but we'll see into the kingdom of heaven that is that tabernacling thing so now i want to take us to leprosy which also has an eighth day uh to it leviticus 14 9-11 it says this it was on the seventh day that he shall shave off all his hair he shall shave his head and his beard and his eyebrows and all his hair he shall then wash his clothes and be bathed his body in water and it be clean now on the eighth day he is to take two male lambs without defect a yearling and eulam without defect or three tenths of an ephod a fine flower mixed in with oil of grain of a grain offering and one log of oil and the priest who pronounces him clean shall present the man to be cleansed and the effort said before the lord at the doorway of the tent of meeting okay all that to say leprosy big leprosy often seen as a picture of sin within scripture leprosy is so uh bad it actually is living death it's the picture remember sin uh is death right and leprosy at that time was basically your flesh is dying it would fall off it is actually a personification of um well it's the reality of what sin does to us it kills the kills us it it causes us to die so a man with leprosy a woman with leprosy would have living death on them and here it's talking about the cleansing the healing from that living death be upon being upon them the leprosy caused them to be outside the camp they were still in the covenant community but they were outside the camp and they couldn't be uh with the the community because they were unclean they had death upon them but when they would be healed and the observation of their healing took place there was a cleansing process so they would be healed they would be cleansed and then on the eighth day after they've been observed to be cleaned and they're washed you know that that mikva that washing that would come the cleansing process is is completed and on the eighth day they were presented as a newborn baby yes yep a newborn a completely new creation because they were healed they were restored and they were brought back into the covenant community incidentally the cleansing for uh the leprosy is so much like the cleansing that takes poor part on yom kippur there are no other sacrifices there you we didn't go into this in our study but you'll notice that within yom kippur the day of atonement there are two goats that are taken there's the scapegoat and then there's the goat to the lord the one that was to be sacrificed incidentally there are two sacrifices a pigeon or two birds one that is to be killed one that is to be released free just like the scapegoat was to be released and then there was the scarlet uh cord the wool look at it you'll just be so astonished at the the same thing so you can understand the imagery that the lord is is even demonstrating for the whole body of israel and that they are cleansed from their contamination of sin and the uh actual cleansing of living death within with on the body of the individual and the entrance back into the dwelling community around god so it is a new beginning they were brought back in in to that restored relationship that circumcision being the picture of that birth into the community that uh new born birth into the community and then the uh cir or the leprosy is those that were uh contaminated those that are uh apart would be brought back into that perfect relationship with god think about that as it relates to the existence of god his creation was perfect and then their sin and death entered in through disobedience through pride through our um our lack of love and understanding of of our relationship with god and uh sin was given birth to and uh contaminated all of existence right um and there is a time zechariah um matthew 17 where god wants to tabernacle again for eternity recreating everything revelation it talks about the new heavens and the new earth our resurrection so that we might have new life for eternity something completely different than what the normal seven days but stepping into a new existence this is what that leprosy is a picture of you are now coming in that eighth day you were uh for seven days witness to have been uh healed our time here tabernacling with the lord is our testimony to the fact that we are healed and that then we step into the eighth day that eternal existence with god all right super exciting and here i already said that seventh day and on the eighth day it shows that return to the covenant community that's the picture that's happening there but more so it even shows that um that yeah that stepping into the kingdom if we're looking at the community as a picture of the kingdom of god because he's the the king of that community uh reigning in our lives now that return uh so that we can enter into the eighth day that future time so circumcision eighth day we enter into the present dwelling healing from leprosy the cleansing the testimony there because this is all about the testimony you've been healed and you've been cleansed that whole time and the final uh testimony on the eighth day is that you step in to that eternal eighth day all right maybe this will help you if i didn't explain it right eighth day is our entrance into the covenant community the eighth day is our present tabernacling with the lord the eighth day is our sanctification that has been taken or given to us the lord is sanctifying us he has set us apart from the world and it's our introduction to eternity so picturing this uh with the feast of tabernacles if we understand that yeshua came so that he could usher in the kingdom of heaven for us here and now his present tabernacling with us that we would he's the first fruits of the resurrection that we are given his holy spirit that we might as rome as hebrews 10 said that its uh sacrifice and offering was not what the lord desired but to do the will of the father he he fulfilled it and he also demonstrated the way that is that we would walk in the ways of the lord that we would not transgress that is that he places his spirit upon us that we know the lord his his law is written upon our hearts he's taken that heart of stone and given us a heart of flesh he circumcised it so that we might have new life we are that circumcised child entering into the kingdom of heaven now to walk out that that time of this tabernaclings it's a seven day feast right uh the the feast of uh tabernacles is this this period of time uh again look at last week uh to to help us to see how the lord brings us directly to sukkot and then there's the next sukkot which is this this one that we're talking about right now um and it is god's present tabernacling we have his spirit we've been given the spirit as a sign his his the spirit of the lord was what rested on the tabernacle in the wilderness was what dwelled within the holy place it is what guided them through the wilderness it is the permanent residence uh of of god's temple and his his presence within us um and it is a taste of eternity uh it is that yet but not yet picture and again the next part the next eighth day as seen through the leper is the return to uh that that restored relationship from that uh original idea of creation uh creation was contaminated uh by sin we are born into a sinful world uh death is around us but god is going to do away with all of that he is taking care of it and he is going to recreate all things anew for us to step from seven days you know the he created things everything from the first to the sixth day rested on the seventh day and the eighth day as we see here in leviticus um at the end 23 at the end for tabernacles the eighth day stepping out of that normal time frame into what i would say eternity so it is the future tabernacling of god the future heavenly jerusalem coming down the future recreation of all things the garden of eden uh recreated man restored our resurrection we've been sanctified so that we are what going to enter into the resurrection he's the first fruits of the resurrection and we're going to taste that uh resurrection as we step into eternity going going from the seventh to the eighth day i hope you're hearing me so there's two eight days one one eighth day but it pictures two things the pictures are initial entrance into uh the kingdom of heaven here and now as a newborn baby and then we walk through this world and it's the picture of the restoration of all things the tabernacling of the lord was there the suffering servant came the first time so that we might be healed so that we can accept that uh eternal reign the eternal presence of god on this stepping from the uh normal time of existence uh and into the eighth day and i mentioned at the um beginning of this class about simca torah the celebration that we have uh during this time and i think it's just so uh perfect it is a great way to remind us that you know as we continue because we we haven't entered into that final eighth day uh that is the complete eternity uh we have a taste in his word uh we can continue to have that relationship with him we rejoice in the fact that he has given us grace upon grace as john had said in his scripture he says moses and the torah came and yeshua came in grace and truth to fulfill all of that so moses and the torah gave a revelation of who god is graciously did not leave us in ignorance of the existence of god what is good for us what he has for us and he comes and does it so it's grace upon grace that the lord he he gives to us so we rejoice in the fact that yeah we're going to start over again within our reading of scripture but it's it's going to fill us again it's actually going to wash us it is going to cleanse us just like the leprous leprously leprous man he is going to be cleansed and he's going to be cleansed from all of his his living death that sin that has contaminated him unto new life and so we get this washing and the renewal of all things and i think these uh scriptures that i'm going to share from the brit kadesha the new testament are perfect to remind us of these things ephesians 5 25-27 and speaking about husbands and wives and in fact actually the relationship of yeshua as the bridegroom and the body of messiah well as the bride uh and we'll see a few scriptures of that i'm getting ahead of myself verse 25 husbands love your wives just as messiah also loved the church and gave himself up for her so that he might sanctify her having cleansed her by the washing of the word uh with the word uh by the washing of the water with the words excuse me that he might present to himself the church in all her glory having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing but that she would be holy and blameless so this this picture here is of the continued washing of the bride now with his word with him so that in the end he will present his bride as a spotless and beautiful unwrinkled bride this is something that we need to grasp that he has given us a taste of that now we are to know that he has sanctified us that he is washing us that he we are uh not only a beautiful bride now but in this we are being beautified so that in the final um the final uh marriage uh that the bride is presented spotless that she has been uh washed just as the testimony of the leprous the the leper he was he was clean he was um he was healed and he was clean and they had to observe him for that period so he was already clean the and and washed they washed him they cleaned him so he was already ready it was the eighth day that all of it was confirmed the healing as it was because it was testified for those seven days and confirmed on the eighth day so our dwelling here again is our testifying to the fact that we have been cleansed that we have been healed that we are the spotless and beautiful one wrinkled bride to be presented and preserved the washing is the preservation of that the faithfulness of god to present himself a bride who is spotless you hear me it is the faithfulness of god now we we've been cleansed we've been uh this is the taste now the entrance into that kingdom and we're being continued we're being washed so that the lord can uh show that he was faithful to present himself the spotless and unwrinkled bride colossians 2 puts it in this way i think it puts a nice summary of all things here verse 11 and in him yeshua jesus you were also circumcised with a circumcision made without hands in the removal of the body of the flesh by the circumcision of messiah having been buried with him in baptism in which you were also raised up with him through faith in the working of god who raised him from the dead when you were dead in your trespasses or transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh he made you alive together with him having forgiven us all our transgressions having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us which was hostile to us and he has taken it out of the way having nailed it to the cross all right all there read that again think about how that just relates to everything that we've just talked about this season this uh holiday season these fall feasts beginning with rosh hashanah yom teruah the blowing of the shofar the annunciation of the king the annunciation of his great works the gospel the bessara the things that he has done for us and then the cleansing that comes with uh uh yom kippur the restoration of that intimate relationship that dwelling abiding presence of god leads then to tabernacling with us all things that we are to experience now not necessarily just for this future existence but realize embrace and understand so that we can live to the fullness of the gifts that the lord has for us the fullness of the life that he has for us as this testimony of that beautiful relationship that honeymoon period that we get to trust in him completely rely on him and know that he is faithful to present us as living um and spotless beautiful unwrinkled bride as we step into that eighth day and so here it is all summed up these these uh these fall feasts uh the the feast of the lord and again they're one festival as i look at it because the purpose of the annunciation is so that we would enter completely into that eternal eighth day and so we we have that taste the yet and then the not yet to yet still happen um so it's it's all there in scripture it's been uh illustrated and i think the lord is just amazing and how he he just how he does stuff it's just awesome so again if you have time i would suggest going back to the feast of tabernacles to look at this this feast and the eighth day a little more in depth if you have any questions about this eighth day idea and stepping from a week of seven and then outside of time in this picture of eight days go ahead email me hopefully you've seen how that works and how he even has shown it in his torah in his word and then he confirms it within his torah his word in the brit kharasha i consider them all one so uh anyway i i find this uh a beautiful holiday uh i totally a time of rejoicing think about it even in the sense that torah the re rejoicing with the word in our lives now but in for all eternity uh he is the living word right yeshua is uh the word incarnate and we are going to experience him in his resurrection in our resurrection and it is a time of just spending all eternity with uh the word with our lord with our savior with the lover of our soul with with beauty with you name it uh it's exciting and uh we we can experience so much of what he has for us now and as a foretaste of what it's going to be it's our introduction to eternity so don't miss out realize that the lord has so much for you even in times that we feel may be dark they are much brighter than you than you realize so with that let's pray new shabbat shaman our heavenly father lord i am just amazed of your ways your heart all that you have done the depth and the riches of your word and the the revelation of your salvation your cleansing and your healing and the eternity of your kingdom uh and the the dwelling of your presence with us now i asked lord that this word would just go out that we're there would be understanding that your spirit would minister to each and every one of us uh to the truth and understanding of this that we would grasp it that we would make it a part of our present reality that we might walk in the riches and in the blessings and in the authority of your presence in our lives we thank you that we that you are faithful that uh we can trust in you in all ways and in all things uh we bless you in yeshua's name in jesus name we pray amen all right um i enjoyed tonight and i hope you guys did too and i'll see you soon
