TL;DW: There is no last secret. If you've watched any other videos about SOTC secrets then there's nothing new about the original game here.
However, if you don't mind some spoilers for the SOTC Remake that released a year ago, then the last few minutes are well worth watching.
Oh wow, that takes me back. I used to be very active on that Shadow of the Colossus board when I was a 14 year old lad. I wish there was a way to go back and find those old threads.
This video was fascinating. I remember finding the nomad Colossus channel years ago but I didn't have the context of the giant thread.
This is an incredible story of fan obsession. And the video is really well built. That ending had me in tears. Not at all where I expected to end up when I pressed play.
I'm wondering what the appeal is for a video game to focus solely on leveraging this desire to find secrets in a mysterious world. Sort of like an arg, but it's a video game instead. It would be completely directionless and it would be up to the community to unlock the next 'milestone' and probably require some online component. Probably the most niche thing I can think of, but watching it unfold sounds like the most enjoyable thing.
