I attended Redeemer for many years (and still do, when I am in town) and having Keller as a pastor was a double-edged sword. He is so good, no other pastor can compete. (There is one pastor I think in the same league, as far as PCA goes, Joe Novenson). While it was dissapointing that he stepped down, it's a plus for the rest of the world that he's writing and taking on a more public presence.
