The Bite WAS CRAZY!! (Nonstop Action and Catch and Cook)

yes oh i thought he was tiny oh this might be my strip morning river rats welcome to my very high end hotel room the only reason i'm in a hotel is because it's raining otherwise i'd be camping but uh we're gonna go try some light tackle stuff and hopefully we hear some drag zipping that'd be pretty neat if the weather just stays like this i'm gonna be pretty excited the trick is to be able to get up there and catch some fish before i have to come back down here and take care of uh no morning growler i have some confidence i have more confidence that i'm going to enjoy this coffee thank you for starting boat thank you for starting fish finder nothing better than stuff that works not a whole lot worse than stuff that doesn't what's up my fishes it's quite a few fish actually right on the lip of that drop or rise i guess it depends on what direction you're looking at it if it's a drop or a rise [Music] perception's a powerful thing all right let's get up there i see them down there they're closer to the cable today yeah i don't know how spotlock's gonna do in this there's only one way to really find out normally i would want to use some live baits but bait of any kind has been a nightmare so uh we're just gonna put little chunks of cup bait get off of there sabiki it was relatively pain free i wonder ooh idea i'm gonna use the spot lock how far away six feet away and the bucket i have a really nice drift sock at home this thing keeps spinning me around like this i'm gonna get seasick we're just going old school it's generally much more dependable i would just go clip off to that cable but i don't know if you're allowed to so i'm not going to i'm going to throw small baits on light rods that doesn't always mean small fish that's part of the excitement i like to hear this sound i don't have to actually like impersonate the sound because you can hear it i don't it just just comes natural i guess oh yeah he's still on oh yeah that was pretty quick one rod out one rod down what are you no big long blistering run like a striker acting like a little blue it's not tiny though i mean depends on your definition of tiny i hate you well i didn't take much time i might be regretting not keeping any to eat today and i might change my mind we'll see see ya oh the blue booger they're impressively slimy creatures i'm gonna have to have a laundry day ride tomorrow i love these little spinning rods they're so much fun for stuff like this they make fishing that would have been fun more fun and the 10-pound striper is going to really light it up and it's going to be awesome yup getting pat packed again little cat he's trying his best oh bad actually this one right there at the moment this uh it's pretty fast action i'm actually gonna have to put this over here feels like another blue i think it's gonna be one of them days where you can only keep two rods up the little guys are eating like this i might have to throw one big chunk out just can't help myself not not tiny connie where's he up stay out of my bucket another fine eating specimen okay if this is gonna work out this way we might be keeping a few of these the main reason i wasn't gonna is because uh it's supposed to start raining but if i can find like something with a roof do you cook them under good i might keep a few like i that if they get snagged less i wonder if they'd be more more appetizing to a striper if i put a float on here comes rain i figured that was only a matter of time we'll be putting up the bimini got it for a reason oh that was uh whoops i guess there is a point where you can have too many fishing rods at i want a striper i also would be like like to be able to catch fish in the spot other than blow the dam we'll get to that later or at least try to do that later no is that my striper that was on that float rig as soon as i tossed it out i think uh i think we're gonna be doing more float rigs definitely another little blue he's rolling up in it fast action good times he might be better or he's just spinning more effectively i see him out there he's fitting in i bet he's fitting in my cooler that's what he's fitting into it's impressive you just drop down bait size and immediately you're bombarded with little blue types you can bet the next one i'm tying up is going to have a float on it too that's a little more solid pop the hook out of him oh are we gonna triple do i get greedy oh that one popped off should probably just worry about the double at hand especially because this isn't a bad one this is kind of ridiculous in the best way possible acting like a blue staying down a little bit better though i'm actually gonna have to get the net that's how it's gonna be i'll stay out of my bucket i need to knit him i don't know if i can flip him on 20 pounds [Music] okay oh man you got another rod going pure pandemonium he ain't bad either when i was trying to get the net i'm gonna get the net ready this is ridiculous okay he's not real easy to move either this is fun if you don't think this would be fun you probably we probably wouldn't get along oh perfect eater he would just spit in real good okay get him in the boat oh my that's perfect eater come here [Applause] i'll try to get this one in the net so close come on come on oh thank you that would have been a big big struggle if you would have been 20 pounds you're a nice one either way oh gross there's a piece of sucker in there from yesterday and suddenly we have no rods in the water i think i have two grippies he's kind of got a derpy face i wonder what the actual dictionary definition of derpy is this uh this bigger guy is lucky that uh this guy bit because uh that's keeping him out of the cooler so i'm gonna keep these two little ones let the bigger one go keep fishing for a little while and uh then you'll fry them up under a gazebo i think there's a gazebo at the boat ramp all right see bud how many is that i can't count that high kind of sucks yeah 20 pounder on one of these is gonna be a process where's the stripers in the water of course that jokes because we've been in a little bit of a feeding frenzy i think i'm going to try something just a little different i would do it even if it wasn't a feeding frenzy but just took a glow bead putting it next to hook will it make a difference i don't know all i know for sure is i'm going to try it i don't think it pulls any fish in per se but i bet if you saw the number of fish that just swam right next to your bait and didn't give a crap and drive you insane at least it would drive me insane so put something else on there something a little different that maybe when they swim by it it'll get their attention a little bit better or maybe they'll be like you suck bauer get better luck next time oh hey maybe you should shut up and pay attention your fishing rods i mean that's an idea tna i think that's an acronym for total non-stop action i think fine eating specimen i think i've said that for every single one of them because they all are i mean that straight from the heart or the stomach probably on the float though that's interesting i only knocked my little pagar mabob off impressive holy chubber that's impressive some fish are just built funny um he might be as big around as he is long and that gets used a lot but he's just like i can't think of a uh appropriate word to use to describe him but uh he's short and fat we'll call it that now i'm right okay later well it's a good thing i got my one float rigged up because that one gets to be re-rigged all of a sudden i'm really glad i did this maybe i missed out on a chance that a really big fish i don't know but i do know this is fun take it down he's trying and he got it yes oh i thought he was tiny oh this might be my striper that's nice yeah that'll boy it's feeling like a striper not that heavy but fast and strong stripers got to be yep or hybrid either way it's got stripes oh yeah striker sweet fun target species acquired something special about a fish with stripes at least i'm a fan kind of a big fan really thanks for playing dude see ya oh oh he popped off it's unfortunate can't complain that'd be the first missed one today we've caught several scenes zero busting stripers it would be fun to get some on like a jig and such but chunkin's fun too all right i'm finally caught up for a second you know what i'm gonna do let's sit down enjoy my coffee wait for my um stomach to let me know it's time to go back i'll probably fry those catfish up for breakfast or a big striper just had a chance to check the time and realize that i pretty much reeled in fish for an hour straight and the funny thing is my shoulder hurt from throwing a cast net feels like i pitched seven innings but now now i think my elbow hurts like i have instead of tennis elbow i have fisherman's elbow i know why somebody get me a tissue that one went down and just stayed down this striped fish kind of acting like it haven't gained a lot of line and he's swimming sideways oh stay on this might be the last one and then going to make some breakfast really would like to see this guy what are you you're pretty nice i think good weight okay the sinker slide got caught in it this is awkward oh this could be a dilemma too at least the sinker is sliding i think um what to do what to do oh stay in the boat that'd be a good idea oh it's all tangled completely tangled tangled mangled i'd cut it but i don't know what line to cut don't bust off a big run or sol he's rubbing on the bottom of the boat come on i don't know what to do oh it's midwest for success temporarily got it oh what's this raptor huh oh no oh it's wrapped around the rock okay back to what we were doing oh and he's right back in it great that's a blue i felt thought for sure you'd be a striper but pretty nice blue oh my gosh he is tangled in three different lines impressive but impressive got him wow it's impressive impressive mess my friend you do good work all right um nice chunky one this is my cue that it is time to go make breakfast let's go make breakfast well i have good news the rain is held off till one so that gives us time to fry up some cats in the boat instead of have to look for a gazebo i do have the bimini top up it's kind of like a mini gazebo i don't even know if that's the right word if it does start sprinkling or whatever it'll reduce the amount of water that lands in the hot grease last time i checked hot grease and water do not go together and if we're gonna be cooking might as well have some big beefy baits out there it's a relatively big beefy bait 15 20 pounder will take that down no problem i wouldn't even take one that big that rod just buried while this cleaning fish wow he's fast my hands are all slimy can barely hold on to the fishing rod what are you striper gotta be uh you don't have to be but try to not lose the fishing rod no nice blue fast brew i look down and just fold it in half the blue cats keep coming he's got a messed up face i mean that the nicest way possible his jaw's so messed up i can't even lip grip them there we go yeah nice fish that didn't take very long i was uh just about done cleaning the fish and uh this guy teased it up definitely the nicest one of the day probably tiener of sorts the most interesting thing though is his mouth it's got like a broken jaw but um still eating pretty good i had no problem taking that food down so good for him all right back to get bigger hopefully see ya they just keep coming it's awesome well we have a minor dilemma there's uh no paper towels smart person whatever he stocked those they smarter person set themselves a reminder because they didn't last time all right these are marinating in the top secret ingredient the only way you can know is if you watch my videos just kidding it's frank's okay you work oh you even work we have fire [Music] not real level that's okay we get by with half a bag of breading be pretty sweet if we could keep checking the rods expecting to see one folded in half at uh the rate we've been going today it's not like it's out of the question you're about out of kerosene or butane or whatever it is i think we're out let her cool down and get that other one in there hoping she'd go the distance not today okay is it gonna be enough this stuff actually goes pretty good ways it might be we're gonna have a little bit left over sweet i think i'm gonna do the blackened catfish again down the road that was really good but there's butter in there that's what made me think of it i have all the seasonings to make it happen i always imagine i'm cooking and then a hundred pounder hits and all my fish burns too crisp and i could care less that's a lie cause i'm kind of hungry but i wouldn't care very much you're like can you eat all this yes i can yes i will it's a point of pride in my ability to eat a lot ooh she's hot already is it ready i think take that as a yes what's drippy oh yeah we're gonna back her off a little bit at least there's no wind no waves currently where's my tongs that's not oh i was worried there for a second maybe i'll put a deep fat fryer in the boat that would be i don't know if i've ever seen anyone with a deep fat fryer in the boat let me kind of epic really first round looks good to me only 22 more to go the dilemmas of feeding myself i can't take it anymore i have to try one surprise it's awesome surprise it's hot those are nice and crispy all right i gotta eat another one it's a special kind of crunch try two more rounds after this one just bouncing it bobbing it it's big bait he's gonna do it i believe in you he'll gnaw on it and then he'll uh not till he makes it small enough and small enough where he can fit the whole thing in his mouth and then he'll pull the rod sorry i haven't been able to uh just wait until they're all done to eat them but legitimately had to eat them in order to make room for the next round come on take it down dude looks like i'm trying doing my best your best isn't good enough right now and need you to be better than that so my theory which i can't prove it when you see the rod bouncing like that one was and then it folds over later people say he was just playing with it but my theory is it was a small one the whole time and then him pecking at it gets the big guy's attention then comes in and scoops it up i don't think big fish peck on it i'm sure they do occasionally but generally speaking final rounds all right now time to admire my mountain of fish i honestly don't know if i'm going to be able to eat all this but i want to because it's really good the only thing i know for sure is i'm gonna go catch some more bait and then i'm gonna go looking for a hog i
