The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth - Mod of the Week: GOTTA CATCH EM ALL!

Hey hello people my name is rage and welcoming it all to mod of the week and I'm very excited about this one because it's something I wanted to do for a while and I think I've also made it a lot better by combining it with a different mod so welcome sir Sam what's that's awkward so welcome to the binding of Pokemon uh yeah yeah I am very excited now there are loads all the poky characters obviously we got ash misty Gary and you know this des there's the wrong character to play and then there's Gary oak and then we got swirl Oh Jesse James me alpha later wrong Charizard is Azazel Mewtwo being Lilith is really good and of course me Alf is the keeper firing penny tears that makes sense for him but alas alack we cannot be any of the pokey characters we must be a little old Lazarus so we're going green mode for a couple reasons I think by far and away it's the best way to show off this mod and secondly it lets us do something at very cool a lot easier you'll notice how Lazarus here is started or if the poke of all ie the friend ball well that is the second mod that I have combined this pokey visual overhaul with I'm not gonna I'm not gonna tell you what that's doing there no I'm not I'm not gonna I'm not good you know what you know I'll admit we're doing one of the week I want a better item than some frickin breakfast and speed you know I'm not one to restart very frequently I'm not dying because this Lazarus starts with no health so we can revive and begin the damaging pretty quickly yes indeed so those are the astute among you may have already worked out why indeed this is happening or you may have heard of it but this is gonna be a lot of fun that's for sure I mean seriously is that just a generic swimmer trader the hearts are berries the keys look like clef keys which is just awesome I mean it's just great oh that kind of sucks well actually no it doesn't look that much Beedrill Oh I hate to say diglettz of course I'm so excited to see diglettz I really am I just absolutely love diglettz Oh more Beedrill this is gonna be very fun for me it really is Snorlax of course their Snorlax that's amazing now there's a reason I've not used the friend ball yet you'd be thinking as the inner pokemon training within me I would be capturing the hell out of everything I see and believe me I will be doing but there is definitely a reason so fear not for I have not some dead yet the one disadvantage is having to have one heart because of how this character works I would bet you know it could it could be better god damn it that sucks alright why a coat hanger will certainly do we shall revive and revive Lazarus and tear our way across the sky yeah I see anything else oh we got a fisherman and a bug catcher so all the shopkeepers are random generic trainers that is inspired I like that I really do okay take two magnets ah oh they're the yellow attack flies that's pen stick Oh got ourselves some zombies as well obviously not every enemy is reskin to a Pokemon that would be ridiculous but not every enemy fits a Pokemon of course so yeah we'll have to see what turns up and yes the bosses are for the most part pokey skin so I'm excited to see how they've been made I mean there's a couple I can think of what the hell are you I mean obviously that's a reskin for a generic spider but what pokemon is that supposed to be I actually don't know for that one that is very interesting and I know it's not from the other mod that's on at the same time here because that doesn't change any enemies so what pokemon is that supposed to be I genuinely do not know oh leg day so Joel takes a jolting czar so adorable oh that makes me happy there is something a little bit disconcerning with you know exploding Pokemon in clouds of blood as we kill them with our tears but that's okay Sangalo with a frickin volt table and of course the bombs being volt odds using self-destruct is so good ooh that's a shiny tangler that blew up into an electrode I see so troll bombs our electrodes that make sense all right so finally finally past the first wave isn't that exciting okay Lou I guess we may as well take the zodiac and for now then here we go so we have ourselves the Widow book yep in this spot Oh Polly for Polly's dog tree oh I wish I could have used it on that but in this mod the mod that I have prepared the Pokemon mod is the ability to friendly baller bosses so we can capture the pokey bosses is that not gonna be freaking awesome now of course I do definitely wish that I could have got Dugtrio but I had to use it on the first one and the one downside to this is because we can now capture bosses there isn't health bars on the screen so we actually have no idea how well we're doing in terms of killing them and they're just gonna kind of pop like that but I think that is definitely a small price to pay in the long run so let's get some more items pretty terrible there as well and again honestly really nothing good I love that the cards are TMS like daddy's really neat I guess we'll go one small how the hell does this work with friendly ball I'm assuming it does work because if it does that's a very good thing to have found there but for now let us take our we've got ourselves a mega fatty Snorlax if only I could have captured that if only I could but as it stands I suppose that is not to be now I am definitely concerned Oh God it is green why is it green why is it green oh man not having a health bar is actually really irritating because obviously something is healthy Snorlax over here we have no idea how close we are to killing it at all and it just I feel like it's gonna feel like it's taking absolutely forever to happen but I guess we just got to keep going for it yes we do we just gotta keep making it happen for me and for you and hope we don't get hit by the quick jump I mean we should get him we've had plenty experience fighting the mega Snorlax is oh we totally do need a mega Snorlax don't we likewise Snorlax not got a mega revolution that would be incredible I do apologize if you don't like Pokemon oh you're not into your pokey knowledge it's the same thing with the undertale mod and various other themes that we could get uh-oh ruins our evolution stones that's very cool and then we got a little bit of answers so that is a fine oh right there to the next floor away I love the oddish in the pots as well that that works very nicely hopefully we get a little bit of healthier as we move on to the cave ooh we've actually got tourists this time yay we get both health and some tears up which is absolutely lovely tourist is probably gonna come in quite handy too we've got uh even got retro style as well isn't that fantastic unfortunately and no money to be found here but soon yes soon we will have out areas of the hair falls and go Widow I choose you oh it does Eve it does actually summon friendly nubs as well I can actually damage them so I'm hoping they are truly friendly I feel like there's actually a really good boss to keep because obviously we can end up in a situation where we just got loads of friendlies I mean yeah let's be honest making the ponies Q bones and marowak's is absolutely required I mean they just are aren't they I mean I don't know if I can still be injured by oh that's not a friendly friendly spider at all that is completely and utterly not a friendly spider I need to remind myself the distinction between them and what they look like and splat we've got spikes which to the jumpers which is God of course if they ever stop jumping they literally die God spikes a messed up they really are like seriously messed up okay so the things that they summon okay so the spiders that Widow summons is actually still a threat to us so that kind of sucks can I move out and in oh god it actually just transfers the ball that's that's interesting to say the least all right here we go Gyarados come to Papa missed I missed a miss capturing Gyarados I'm I'm so sorry I missed Gyarados I feel so bad no I feel so bad you didn't actually look like I miss to be fair and the mod does say there asked some bosses that aren't capturable so potentially that is one of them but I don't know I just feel like I've made this very intense of myself having to deal with a boss that summons things that are still hostile to me so I don't really know at this point either way it's time for devil deal all those spiders look friendly so maybe some of them just are friendly I don't really know but I do know is that we want to go to the item room here oh yeah so they're gonna fight each other it seems some of them are friendly and some of them aren't friendly I don't really know the best oh my god could we have found a better item to complement having this boss that is excellent let's do summary roll see what we end up wherever so bomb there and I guess we probably want take this it should be okay we got a lot of Tears then we get the black heart and that should work out pretty damn nicely onyx of course Larry jr. that is pretty good job unfortunately lot of poke woman again what kind of Pokemon could you make job I don't even really know at this point and careful don't want to get munched by him definitely oh oh we've got Taurus that's actually fine gotta keep damaging him and there he goes so did it a devil do you oh it's a freaking skitty poor instead of Guppies pause that's kind of messed up actually now that I think about it that is very very messed up alright on to the next floor we go I got a we wanna find some batteries I do but I guess we're just not doing huh the meat not bad at all and we've got Scorpio from our zodiac randomness this floor so we've got retro Fishman again random nun's habit over there which is actually excellent we definitely need to get to that 100% let's try and find a bomb unfortunately we did me find a bomb which really sucks cuz we definitely need that item like 100% that lets us poke a ball so many more things and it's a very very big deal the nightlight is actually really good here but for now there's not much I can do I mean I can't just summon a bomb out of nowhere can I so yeah that is such a shame there's got to be a way to find a bomb as safe there's gotta be there's just gotta be lets reroll and yay alright so we just need to get the money and then we can bomb our item martyr away careful self let's not immediately take loads of damage I do like that I have that all Glalie is the skulls wonderful just wonderful there really is a lot of work going into this mod because they all look really nice don't they I think that might be a Parris oh oh it could be para sect and then Parris yeah I think the spiders are supposed to be Paris's that makes more sense now it kind of actually works so we want to get to our boss wave and then see if what we can I capture loads of Beedrill spawning and then venno nat are the bomb flies liking it what is next I can't even tell what the waves want me to kill at this point I really can't I think we're still fine health-wise I'm surprised these aren't like steelix or something but we have Ekans and fricken Dunsparce as they were men in these that's wonderful Who am I even supposed to be killing oh they're all dead so that's convenient okay let's go grab our bomb then and unlock item r2 grounded I don't have the health to consistently take a tomato but still you know it's alright we'll also grab this key and open this chest see what we get oh we got a bomb anyway so that kind sucks but you know we can use it for the next floor at least god damn weirdo just stop just we ate all over my face I know whatever reason you are just crush that ball poor fisherman just straight-up crush the fisherman let's grab synth aisle then that should be okay and whose about sir it is mega maaan all right well we don't need to capture mega more I'd rather wait for a poky form boss to come alive and be captura before us though I do need to be careful of course cuz I don't want to die spike and oh oh no it's not capture ball no and I'm dead I got killed by the legendary Pokemon a ho-oh the angel Oh going so wrong I just want to get to somewhere good but Lazarus is a piece of [ __ ] oh my god the heart is freaking Ganga with little gas leases his followers and guess what I just caught guys you wanna know what I just would I just acquired yeah yeah it's the Snorlax I just got me a snot eggs look at that thing oh my god the idea of Ganga pulling back it's cool face to reveal wet boy Mac its skin to reveal a skull face with a third eye underneath that is horrific that is absolutely horrific oh my god that is not good that is genuinely not good at all so I got freakin BFF and car battery on the first floor get on my level oh god we've got another one I mean that should in theory be fine but at the same time I am definitely on the concerned side of things die gas leader hi oh my god so many gas leaves and so little time to deal with the gas lease I mean this is a champion Gengar I just don't know which company it is I'm thinking it's the brimstone in a square one but I don't want to risk it not being and then getting blasted in the face so yeah it's actually just a normal one it just came of a load of extra hard links just just for the giggles small anything just got a stay ahead of it and then I messed it up and now I got hit but now it's dead and that's the important part not much we can buy there that is a shame but what we can do is move on a Vera Li to the next floor and unleash a Snorlax upon mine foes I'm very excited too unless a Snorlax upon my infos I I will very much admit that this is gonna be pretty good hey yes fricken oh that makes me so happy I can't tell you how scared I was that I was going to die again I really really just just well speed down on a big deal Ranger up alright and retro vision which color is fitting for a Pokemon theme okay that is good just one more wave and then we can unleash Snorlax go I choose you yes absorb the main Snorlax absorb the mane and these shots are working and he's gonna just stamp on them I'm assuming his Creek will still affect me there's nothing I can do about that but still that is just excellent we have ourselves our own mega fatty Snorlax fighting side by side what the hell a mcCargo I think they are mcCargo that's kind of neat and they're about to get hammered yep they are most certainly getting hammered so I can't wait to see what next pokey boss we have the opportunity of acquiring it is going to be most good then basically it's gonna be my team of Pokemon against ultra greed which is very nice to see some spikes doing well and it's fine and there they go a little bit of a graphical bug on them but I don't think we can really blame it too much this mod is most certainly what I would consider fantastic it really is losing a little bit too much health for my lightning though I am for my lightning yes my lightning is really too weak there's a lot of worms here considering how many I'm killing I'm just glad it's not a mega fatty that does rocks everywhere cuz I have a feeling that would still affect us which would obviously suck very very much letters grab ah key then and oh don't mind if I do I hope I just keeps absorbing me and I can't stop and damn you Snorlax to have you all the way to hell okay who've we got then who have we got normal Slough we don't care too much about that even if they asked summoning Ekans is to try and stop me they will never stop me this boat has no brakes I don't know why it's a boat that were on that doesn't make as much sense as I would like it to but still and there we go he didn't actually do that much damage unless he stomps on them so hopefully he starts doing that a little bit more of course when I'm facing him you know he stomps constantly but when Oh won't even happen there what even spawn I'm not even sure can I catch it I don't know if I technically just captured fistula or not I really genuinely do not know but I'll admit being sporadically just absorbed towards no lacks is making this very difficult to deal with like genuinely this is very irritating and to Blackhearts that's absolutely fine god damn it Snorlax stop okay stop and get it you love me that's wonderful but just stop please please just stop okay me and my battery I'm moving on with our lives and it's what we need here please don't do it okay good and we definitely want tears up did I just take to how I did so I am still definitely affected by his a creep which obviously sucks Wow a lot of good stuff on this floor especially in fact both of those items were definitely buying it and qubit meet a BFF one at that that is looking pretty good time to kill all of the things I mean granted our damage is just terrible but our advantage comes from obviously having ridiculous ridiculous Pokemon pets just destroying everything for us but we also have a very very respectable amount of tiers of course the zoo bats being the bats that makes complete sense to be fair on the caves every wave of the Pokemon mod should have just been Zumba that would have been a really funny nod go yeah I captured a single bit of fistula but is so bad that is so so bad like what that is just what is it gonna do I guess it's just like a peeper a slightly larger paper going around the room so we got that going for us which is of course nice but oh man what am I taking damage from here I don't even know like genuinely I just just don't know at this point I'd stop stop jumping on me my own Snorlax is trying to kill me am i a bad Raider I feel like this means I'm a bad trader and I don't know what to do give me my heart god damn alright let's see what is next for us okay pride we can just kill I mean he should get absolutely annihilated very very freaking quickly especially yeah there we go and then hopefully we got another poker boss oh we got the cage don't mind if I do I know it's not a poker boss but I I would love a pet cage you know as few things in this world that I would like more than a pet cage and look we weren't gonna get a pokey boss on this floor anyway so that is absolutely fine but the idea of a mob that lets you capture bosses is just very very cool is it not careful you are really going for it you are really really going stop stop brownie please just just please just accept thy death that's all I need you to do just accept thy death in a calm and orderly fashion and we should be okay yeah we only lost most of our health on this floor running down to one huh I think this might be a little bit difficult like genuinely oh my god Snorlax there's just nothing I could do I'm gonna find this over write about it cuz I need the health I really just need the health I'm gonna just move it on it's just ridiculous absolutely ridiculous I feel like the cage is going to equally be terrible to have to use now that I think about it yeah hey Oh God we'll have a quick look at the shop see what there is to have and at least the tears aren't affecting me but man the creep I guess there's just nothing that can be done about the creep and I suppose it makes sense I mean you can't really program creep not to be hostile alright so here doth arrive our cage who is doing it he's dead he killed my Snorlax and my gage oh the brimstone is killed everything how they they literally killed my Pokemon I just I don't know how I feel about that I really really I just that's so sad that is just so so sad and I don't know I don't know if I'm gonna ever recover I used to imagine it Boca my ass just gets his beloved Pokemon beamed down by pure blood and they just keel over dead I mean that is that is tragic that is absolutely tragic well we are gonna at least go in the item room and see what we're getting given here but I have to say I'm loving this mod combination there's so much fun oh I caught the Diggler instead [ __ ] you world I want a Diggler I wanted the cage back Oh God that's just that is depressing that is absolutely depressing but it should be okay to be fair the cages and that irritating to kill when it comes down to it I'm just I'm just very upset that I that that Diggler heroically stepped in front of the cage and prevented it from being captured I I just feel a little bit robbed more than anything all right we need some more batteries though we definitely need to go about doing some more glorious boss capture at least with Snorlax gone we're not gonna get randomly dumped by our own Pokemon which is definitely nice you know there is distinct advantages to not having some self dunking occur hey we'll buy that give us some bums for some rerolls and of course the black of course I don't know why I felt the need to say it like that but of course and we've got ourselves a little bit of low-key I am very tempted to deliberately take damage hey don't mind you charge battery that's very convenient and there we go I mean I thing is I'm raising them happy to do that is because it activates smart flight which screw this flaw so much quicker because a BFF smart flight does so much damage which is a really really good and honestly I wouldn't even want to capture half a Loki I feel like it said oh I'm gonna die aren't I I just gotta take this seriously I'm just doing so bad I'm just so stressed at the moment having to get ready to leave for a few days that I've just just my focus is so gone it really is oh my god that's that's a head of a skitty that is that is just brutal absolutely brutal and an explosion that is fine so I kind of need some health I'll be honest with you cat kind of want some he'll follow up in here so I guess that's what we're gonna buy and then we're gonna move on to the next floor and see what we can see I mean hopefully I wonder if I can capture ultra greed oh my god please say I can end this run by capturing ultra greed like I found a legendary Pokemon that with immense power and just got long mine and straight-up captured it that is something I need in my life it really is that is hilarious okay Oh take take tech I like tech Tech's okay get ourselves some loveliness yes indeed still not doing a great amount of damage but that's fine you know that is fine I use the loads of pink pink smoke balls coming at me that is very very scary I will admit I didn't expect that why do they pick though I got a Pokemon reskin wouldn't merit little horns balls to be pink that's again a sentence I never thought I'd really fully ponder in my life but I have okay little horn why are your balls pink tell me this tell me the answer right now explosions careful careful zubats no I do not want to capture is about it think at this point we are just gonna wait for the boss does show up got ourselves a spirit heart which is excellent please die no gotta wait for one more spawn come on please please please please yeah oh they're freaking Abra's cuz they go invisible I like that it's a it's a nice way of doing it it really is and we do manage to get through him and there it is okay looking pretty good hopefully we get a very good boss to capture here that would be nice and for now we're gonna blow these guys up cuz we don't want any of these not do we want any of them so let's try one more time I will take the damage I suppose oh that's not bad as well but we can't afford that now so boss time hey we do in fact get ourselves a cage oh we could have got one of them that would have been pretty need of course but as it stands it's okay you know we can we can deal with this we can we definitely have the power that was such a waste of a brimstone my friend all you did was kill your friend with it that kind of sucks for you honestly I'll admit that's that's kind of tragic and I'm a monstro too hopefully it's just one my monstro too well it is technically one on the monstro - and we got a battery so we can at least get our kg friend out to help us in this situation so that is very very nice I am just have course concerned about monstre ah look at him go I am concerned about monstro - beaming down my cage so hopefully he doesn't immediately do that he tried to he bloody tried to there you guys saw he immediately tried to kill my cage and I don't know how I feel about that but we got him and the rocks aren't affecting me so that's lovely as well um thanks cage thanks for immediately breaking everything and then dying oh my god and I can't even trim to capture it again that that's just that such so much I mean we got some help from it at least but you just immediately smacked down in the angel room and spoiling for a fight oh man cage you aggressive individual full health yes please and retro vision no thanks okay I think we're good I think we are I think we're good to go guys we're good to go I just I don't even know anymore I just don't even know our pokey venture is is having a very very interesting experience that I will admit we do at least have today we don't need the battery though cuz we don't have anything to pull out at the moment so I guess we're going the Kersh room see what that entails just a load of Health fam then for now let us stack up our charge Oh slow secend V and then it splits into its lesser evolved forms that's really cool okay so I definitely want to save up some boss capturing I wonder if our usual wacky inflatable tube man is gonna be a boss Oh me out there is the jumping heads that make sense they're all about your money though it'd be kinda weird if you were playing me out from the other model and you saw headless me off trying to kill you was the one true me Alf because they're just mad jelly about the fact that you have legs and they don't have legs okay I mean I actually want to save most of my money to buy batteries so I can just really get every single boss cuz that would be awesome oh god it's bleeding small axes oh my god that is just terrible oh that is just awful I know it's munchlax obviously it's frickin munchlax Oh so the hearts of love discs and then the charges are eggy slash that is fantastic fricking of course it's munchlax and Snorlax the boss the evolved form why did that not click with me before I am full foolish fool all right we've got batteries in here which lets us do a double capture so one ah really I mean I guess I will take it because I might as well and then we'll release it out and then we'll grab the other one oh we could actually grab the frail then that seems like it might be cool and there it is I have captured you you are ma oh no I haven't captured you eh well I regret my decisions I truly truly do okay let us buy that oh look its summoning with heads and then immediately killing them that's just that's just great isn't it that is just great okay boom oh he's not capturable interesting oh god oh god were taking so much damage no apparently I did capture the frail it was just a version of Oh God we're gonna die we're gonna die we're gonna die this is difficult I'll admit this is difficult and this is like my fall for Deb god damn ha what is he with this week's runs I just can't get to the end oh man well I hope you enjoyed this just disaster parade I do know for a fact ultra greed isn't Reese kids so we are really are missing nothing by not just going one room further on and fighting him with Pokemon if we are incredibly weak three damaged tech ones so we're not missing anything out from dying here but how awesome is that Pokemon and capturable bosses a lot of fun like have you enjoyed the
