The best selling online platform

we're at the storage unit and boy we have a lot to go over we have sold a ton lately uh we're going to go ahead and start with some vintage knives that's not vintage knives what am I talking about we're going to go ahead and start with watches that aren't here we sold some watches are they over the house mhm all right five bucks for some watches this right here sold for only $410 this is the stuff we're trying to stay away from how long have we had this shirt 50 million years 50 million years so this right here sold for $410 we f a for a really long time probably would never buy another one the loop hold Sequoia scope spotting scope that we picked up uh probably what about a week ago M for 80 bucks did sell for $160 plus shipping that's already at the house and packed up because we thought we had bought somebody bought it on Mari was it Mari or posmart Posh and then we had to we haven't sold on posmart in a while we're explain a little bit later on why we started crossposting but we cross posted and totally forgot about the 5B roll about that you have to pay for the extra shipping right so we had this loophole thing it was actually 13B and we couldn't even figure out a way to make it 13 lb it said like 10 lb or less or whatever correct yeah it wouldn't ship anything over 10 pounds so we actually had explained to the person Hey listen we're sorry but we don't know what poshmark's doing and it was going to charge us for just 10 lbs it was going to charge us an extra $22 which is absolutely absurd so when it comes to Posh now we are going to go ahead and just stick with things under 5bs yes right who's going to go ahead and pay an extra $22 when you go on eBay and it would probably be less than that so we don't Posh is a little bit we're just getting used to it is what I'm saying this right here is a 1our battery charger sold for $15.20 then we sold another power supply for Bose this sold for $146 s this uh thing right here is a music box and it is like a little angel in there right little angel thing and that sold for $15 then we did sell some golf clubs right here we sold this golf club for only 10 bucks guy wrote me a really nice message and sometimes I uh you know if I give him a deal if it's a nice message or not so they got that for only 10 bucks then we did sell the Jack Jack Rogers that you just picked up check those bad boys out right there they sold for $30 plus shipping then we did sell a Big Bertha ° that sold for $22 plus shipping the centi this is one of our highest selling censes ever and make sure we don't break it is this one right here it is called the glitter glow and that's sold for $32 plus shipping which is pretty good a king cobra sold really nice conditional on this one sold for $29 plus shipping for the king cobra then the Polo Ralph Lauren I usually don't sell a lot of hats on eBay anymore a lot of times they go straight to whatnot but this one I knew was going to sell a lot better on eBay it is the Vintage Polo Ralph Lauren swimwear and this sold for $24 and plus shipping on that and sold almost instantaneously a lot of knives and here there's five vintage vintage knives that we got out of a storage unit they sold for 43 bucks plus shipping our last little simply say I think I said that before but this one really is our last one this one sold for $15 free shipping then we did have some of the Tom Clarks we picked these up for a couple bucks down at a estate sale in Mount Pleasant or Buford somewhere around there and they have sold this one sold for $15 and it's the same person bought them 15 bucks for that one and then 30 bucks for all those so that ain't too shabby right there a blouse so kind of a little RIS blouse isn't it risk MH yeah so for $18 plus shipping and then these this guy Fred who remembers Fred from the beer th machine Fred sold for $30 plus shipping what you doing Fred look like you need to eat a good hamburger you looking like Skin and Bones mostly bones so we have a lot to talk about is crossposting we have stopped we actually stopped crossposting what years ago and it was because we were got tired of trying to figure out what sold and what didn't sell and we now use vindu now they're not sponsoring this um video or anything like that but we do use them now there is a link down below which is affiliate link that if you click that link and sign up we about that and this comes up to my next thing is I really want to talk about our bestselling platform because a lot of people like when they message us they're just getting into reselling and they're like which platform should I start with which one is the easiest and I didn't tell you this but what is your what do you think is the best platform to start with well I haven't really been working a lot with Ki and Poshmark and depop and all those other ones so I can't really say I'm going to say and I haven't worked with those a lot either I'm going to say eBay I'll tell you why I say eBay is because it is the most powerful it is the one that you get most your eyes on it is the biggest selling platform out there used that you I think that you can do um I do not think I know a lot of people like oh I SP say you know M's better Posh Mar's better we have sold on all three platforms uh We've not sold on doot but I know that it's a much smaller platform uh you know we sell on whatnot we sell on a card we sell on posmart and we sell on eBay eBay outd does all of them tfold probably some of them 100 fold right eBay is just a lot powerful there's a more people out there looking at your stuff on eBay if you have good quality items they will sell on eBay and I know eBay takes a big chunk of money I think they're up to like 13 or 14% posar takes 20% though right mm mcari takes also 20% and eBay does not sponsor this video either no no they don't but I'm just being honest because we get a lot of those questions what should we start with eBay is not that hard to to start going and getting involved in eBay like how they list I actually think it's easier than mcari I think it's easier the shipping is much easier than posharp in how big your box is you can prepack your box like we did right here prepack it put the weight in you know you ain't losing on shipping because there's no guessing on Posh I think it's very weird about their shipping stuff I mcari is also kind of hard but that's just my personal opinion and all of those outdo whatnot I believe I know that I there's a lot of people that just push whatnot and they love whatnot we love it too we have our shows we had a very successful show on Saturday but we would not have that as a primary selling platform because we have very specialized things if I try to do a whatnot sale with Snap On Tools I think they would probably bring half of what they should bring if you sold on on eBay and if you're and then if you want to take less all you have to do is just put put them on sale on eBay and they'll sell within the day a high like a very in demand item at a good price will sell on eBay very quickly so I know we just get that question a whole bunch like hey what platform should I start with I always say start with eBay and then Master One platform before you go to a whole bunch I think mhm so Master eBay to where you're like really good at it and then throw in your other platforms because then at least you know you're like really good at one platform and then you can go ahead and trickle in the other ones if you start with all of them at once then you might get questions on all three platforms like why is the shipping look like this or what is this doing or and if you had all it could be kind of overwhelming is what I'm saying so ours would definitely be probably eBay as our top selling platform that also on eBay we did have the whole everybody was like freaking out about this shipping thing and opting in and opting out I wouldn't say freaking out but people were concerned about it because it was very concerning I was concerned about it too turns out I don't know if it made any difference and I would like to know yall's uh information too if you opted into the shipping thing did it make a difference are you making more sales if you opted out did you see a dip in your sales we'll tell you this we opted in and saw no change in sales whatsoever none like I'm thinking about opting out now because we didn't see such a big like increase in sales I thought for sure we would see an increase we did see an increase in golf clubs but that even happened prior to opting in that was when I switched to flat rate shipping is when we really saw increase in uh golf clubs also it's Golf Club season so you know that could be also a reason why I saw that uh we know somebody my dad who opted out of the shipping and his sales are actually better than ever so between the two of us we really can't tell you which one was better or which one was worse that's why I kind of want you all is if you opted into the shipping uh discount did you see a big increase if you opted out did you see a decline in your sales also we wanted to go ahead and touch Basse on a couple other things again thank you for everybody coming out to our whatnot show we do like them a whole bunch we did have a glitch in our last whatnot show about like this the the auction ending and then it going to not ending and then pre-bid it was really really weird but we did handle it with the buyer so that's just you one of them things I guess you know they got to work out the Kink still and whatnot but we do appreciate everybody coming out to our whatnot sales we have another one Saturday next Saturday Saturday is actually our VBS the vacation bible school so that will be Saturday then after that there's another one we do have our and greet on July 6th at the bounty hunters Emporium which will be between 10000 p.m. and 300 p.m. it's not just us going to be there it is actually their threeyear anniversary of being in business and there's going to be a ton of people like local AR authors are going to be there signing books they're going to have like games and food right or something like that so it's going to be really really awesome if you want to stop by there and then I think probably a lot of people's stuff will be on sale I'm assuming that they're going to have good deals there because it's going to be a really big to-do so if you're in the area come out and you know check it out be really fun so we do have new bags on our website right yep that you actually just made so new merch on the website we're going to have a ton of merch actually at our meet and greet that will eventually hit our website but if you want to first come to the meet and greet all we still have your pot charms on there how many how many pot charms you got oh I need to get you need to get working on caught on on pot charms there are flower pot charms that actually go on your flower pot uh you get most of this jewelry we also get questions about where do you get all the jewelry from we actually got a whole bunch of bags from good will recently that we're going to actually play the clip at the end of this video you going through all those bags and then if if you can't sell it on whatnot and we can't sell it on eBay you actually repurpose a lot of it to make these pot charms so we'll go ahead and throw up a picture of a pot charm but then we're going to go ahead go home pack this stuff up ship it out and let y'all watch her going through a ton of jewelry so we have bought some bags from Goodwill we actually bought two from two different Goodwills that we have in our area and they were $39.99 a piece and I'm G to go through them with you guys so this bag is 6 lb 2.5 oz so why I picked this one up is because of that name right there so that is Jane Marie and someone had told me that their jewelry goes for pretty good money they go for like 20 to $30 a piece so this is this piece right here it is golden color has a little pendant at the bottom and it's brand new so you can't beat that we have another necklace here this is canvas is what it's called it's got some little things it's been folded up so those will have to lay out but that's pretty cute so another reason why I bought this bag was because of this right here so this is actually a sunglass so you put it around here and then you put your sunglasses on it and it's Kate Spade so I haven't looked that up but I'll throw up a so comp to see how much this is worth that's not even jewelry but that's pretty cool that that was in there so we've got so we've got this bracelet right here it looks like it is broken so not so great we have a bracelet here it's just a little cord we have a necklace looks like it's just not Twisted all the way but those are really pretty colors we [Music] have some stretchy bracelets this bracelet also says canvas so I'll have to look that brand up it says faith on it that's a cute bracelet and then a stretchy bracelet some other little bangle bracelets I think that was an that is an earring there is a choker that's pretty cool got another little choker in here that's that's cute it's so hard not to keep pieces for myself sometimes I do I do keep pieces for myself you guys don't worry um so here is some here is another bracelet right here and another bracelet we have this is Avon and it's just just the necklace we've got another little choker here that's cute I like these cuz they're so easy to put on and take off and they don't feel like they're choking you it's cute um here is another choker it's almost like a lace it's cute we've got a necklace here that is Tangled here is that other earring that's promising that they have matching earrings in here here is a necklace is wood it's got red in it that's pretty it's like a longer [Music] necklace that's cute I wonder if these bags are going to be better than the blue boxes that I have went through before um so this necklace is actually broken so that's two broken pieces that we have found in this bag so not that great there but we will move on here is a so this looks like a choker but it's like very um vintage oh that's cute see if I can get it off so it has like like the little hook and then that's how you put it on but that's cute all right this does not have a maker on it but this is the necklace that's really pretty what is that a flower in there it's a flower and then it's got like leather right here it has a little tab but it doesn't have a name on it so that's cute that's a sellable piece for sure here [Music] is a necklace here trying to see if it said 925 it doesn't look like it does but it is almost like a stone necklace on like a cord that's cute we have a black and white necklace that's like a longer necklace here is a white one that's cute it's like a gold color here is a black [Music] necklace and it looks like it's broken but I can fix that so no worries there okay so this is also broken this says 925 on the tag so the little little tag right there it says 925 so I'm wondering if like these pieces they don't say 925 but like this piece does which is odd I don't know if you guys can see that right there it says 925 but this piece is broken so I don't know what I would do with this piece I could make it into a pot charm all right so we've got this necklace right here very pretty and it's very short it's a very short necklace but it's it's pretty I like like that that will sew for sure and here is another necklace has a whole bunch of charms on it very cute it's got like the it's got Abalone Abalone shells I think is how I was told it's pronounced Abalone so that's cute and then it has like a leather strap with a silver color strap so that's cute so we're getting a lot of sellable pieces out of this like I'm very surprised a stretchy bracelet cute we have a long necklace here very pretty have have this necklace the Eiffel Tower with a little bow minus the fuzz that's cute we have a necklace here that has some chains another necklace that is gold in color necklace 925 Italy oh wow look how pretty that is it's like a green orange so I wonder if you guys can see inside here so it says 925 Italy and then it has the name right here m i l o r m i l o r so I'll have to look that up that is really pretty I wonder if this whole thing is 925 I don't know I'll have to look that up that is an interesting piece I am pretty excited about that and I will definitely show a sold comp for you guys when I look that up now I'm gonna get out my magnifying glass and look at everything so here's this necklace this is kind of different see if I can get it untwisted here that's cute that's how it would lay on the neck that's cute I like that here is a necklace piece here this looks interesting oh this is [Music] pretty I don't know what that name is but I'll definitely be looking this up as well look at that so it's like a flower but it has different like beads on it that is very pretty I'll try to show you guys the the mark it almost looks like it starts with a d I have to look that up or a P that is okay I'm excited about this bag here is another necklace here it's got some black beads with some clear beads very cute so this is definitely a necklace that it hasn't as far as broken broken it just popped off of that but look at that I guess you would call it like a charm I mean that thing is huge but that's really cool looking it's definitely heavy but that is that is definitely different but cool we've got this bracelet right here it's like brass gold and silver toned and it is stretchy so that's cool we've got an earring here doesn't say 925 it's like an Egyptian earring look at that that's pretty cool green necklace here with all the different colors inside that's cute we've got a necklace here I like those colors those are pretty here's another one that that has those kind of colors and that kind of sits on the neck like that oh that's cute doesn't have a name here's a necklace here green it's a shark tooth but it's like made of metal it's like a metal shark tooth that's really [Applause] cool I remember always going to the beach stores around here and getting necklaces like that here's more of those bracelets that are stretchy here is another bracelet with a cord and just some odd and ends with the earrings so these actually have matching earrings here the little thing popped off but that's fine oh look there's Chick-fil-A earring I don't have the other one with oh yes I do H anybody interested in some Chick-fil-A earrings I have some those are cute I'm sure someone handmade those and then here is a stretchy bracelet pink and some more little earrings so I will definitely be looking some of these pieces up because they are really really cool and they have name brands which is nice because it's e easier to look those up that way so that is the first bag and I will take you guys along on the other bags
