Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
Try to find and download the ARP2600 manual. Itβs a great introduction to everything regarding subtractive synthesis and modulation. Good read.
nice doc! lots of fun info and technical detail, without burying it in too much history
Is it as good as a bode vocoder?
Love love love. Got work with both of those in school. Super tight.
the 2600 is the synth of Star Wars
That was really interesting. Thank you.
I actually got a chance to use one of these. My college owned one. Was wild to recreate Star Wars sound effects with your hands like that. Feels like pottery with sound waves. Great piece of gear.
Wow, that was superfun and informative. I truly love the sounds the ARP 2600 produced, yet never knew where they came from. Awesome :)
