counteracts injurious or unwanted effects the antidote again just just say that word the antidote numbers 21 verse 4 declares that they journeyed from mount or by the way of the red sea to compass the land of edom and the soul of the people was much discouraged because of the way i think we're familiar with that our soul being discouraged because of the way sometimes the path we walk is not the path we want oftentimes the difficulties we confront have a way of discouraging our souls impacting us in a significantly negative way but how you react to the discouragement is pivotal to the deliverance that god would bring to your life and the soul of the people was much discouraged because of the way they had to go around the land of the the were the direct descendants of esau and if you know anything about jacob and esau there's a bit of a rift going on between those two tribes so the said you will not come through our land and they place their armies there because the children of israel are just about to come out of the wilderness and step into the promised land and the edomite said you ain't coming this way nope not gonna happen go the long route anyone ever had to go the long way around anybody ever knew that you were about to step in that something that god had purposed for your life and then just when you were about to achieve it just when you were about to receive the blessings the favor of god the enemy stood up and said go the other way some of you know exactly what i'm talking about you would have never predicted that you would fight the disease you fought or have the marital difficulties you've confronted or run into the financial uncertainty that you've been dealing with and you had to go the long way around how you react to that is pivotal to your success how you respond the scripture said that the people spake against god they were so frustrated in verse 5 said they just spake against god and against moses so not only are we going to talk bad about the preacher we're just going to talk about about god too because this is exhausting their words wherefore have you brought us out of egypt to die in the wilderness there is no bread neither is there any water our soul loatheth this light bread light means in hebrew worthless unappetizing god not only are we going the long way you brought us out here to die and what you're feeding us is worthless it's horrible their complaint seems to register most against moses but first and foremost the writer would tell you it was against god be careful how you talk about the purpose and the plan of god because god takes personal what you say about ministry but you know this isn't the first complaint that the children of israel have ever made let's just talk about it for a moment shortly after israel departed egypt during the exodus there they they found themselves pursued by the egyptian army and they're blocked by the red sea and they said this to moses because there were no graves in egypt have you taken us to die out here in the wilderness wasn't there enough cemeteries where we were prisoners that we could have died easier did you really just bring us out here to be executed in fact i loved the quote from the king james says why have you treated us this way they're already slaves pharaoh had taken away the straw to make making their bricks more difficult they were executing and beating them and they were in slavery to the bond man to the egyptian masters but yet said why are you treating us this way i mean i i'm not sure about you but i believe i would rather live a short life as a free man than a long life as a slave can i say it spiritually i would rather experience god's grace mercy and salvation for a short amount of time than live a long life bound in addiction fear and disgust and despair they said leave us alone this is what they told moses that we may serve the egyptian for it were better for us to serve the egyptian then we should die in the wilderness i i don't know is there anyone in this house that craves freedom that being a slave is not an option for you spiritually you will not serve another master so what did what did the lord do jehovah divided the red sea and he allows israel to escape on dry ground and he drowns pharaoh and they're shouting in exodus 15 the horse and the rider hath he thrown into the sea but it does not build their faith for long the very next chapter verse 24 of chapter 15 the people complained about the bitter waters of morrow what shall we drink this water is causing intestinal issues why are you doing this to us so joe jehovah said hey moses take a stick throw it in the water and it will sweeten the bitter waters of mara so again god's mercy is shown and the bitter waters are sweetened the next chapter in exodus the congregation of israel murmurs against aaron in the wilderness and moses and they said to them we wish we wish that we had died by the hand of jehovah in the land of egypt when we sat by the meat pots when we ate our fill of bread for you have brought us out into the wilderness to kill this whole assembly with hunger they seem fixated on food don't they but they are so frustrated that the wilderness seems more difficult than what they were living in slavery i mean after all i got three square meals a day cable tv things are great i may be a slave but this is better than being free and being hungry so what did jehovah do jehovah says okay i'll give you quail and manna exodus 16 13 to satisfy your hunger then at rafidium the people quarreled with moses and says we need some water moses said why do you quarrel with me and why are you testing jehovah the people were thirsty for water and they murmured against moses and said have you listen it's the same thing have you brought us up out of egypt to kill us our children our livestock with thirst that's sec it's this 17 have you noticed a trend 14 15 16-17 complain complain complain complain complain so jehovah told moses smite the rock at horeb and the hand and the same staff that you struck the nile strike the rock and when he did it water flows out of the rock and he calls that place manasseh and maraba because the children of israel quarreled he said i'm going to name this about quarreling i'm going to name this about argumentative people i'm going to what if you lived on grumpy street some of you might should move there depresso lame you know you need an espresso what if you what if what if the testament of your life was memorialized by an attitude of negativity they literally said in exodus 17 at miraba is jehovah among us or not these are the people that have been brought out of tyranny of 400 years of slavery they have traveled through the red sea they have seen the bitter waters go sweet quail has fell out of the heaven in truckloads manna has appeared in the morning on the ground and now they're saying is jehovah with us or not because they don't like the buffet they're angry at tabara the israelites tired of eating manna said who will give us flesh to eat we remember the fish which we ate in egypt they just can't get past egypt mentally we we listen the cucumbers the melons the leeks the onions and the garlic but now we've even lost our appetite can i tell you something what you had before you came to god isn't as good as you remember it those of you that think you're missing something since you sacrificed your life to god and said i choose to worship let me remind you the despair the depression the confusion the fear the anxiety the loneliness it isn't worth it it don't matter how much money you had back then it no matter how much food you had back then it don't matter how big the house was if you had to leave it to come to god it was worth it [Applause] and then numbers 11 they said there's nothing to even look at except all this man up they're getting frustrated jehovah's patience growing a little thin so numbers 11 he sent quails so many quails i used to know the number i preached a message called quelmageddon one time but but it was it was quail three feet high for like 300 miles around their camp however as they eat that quail he gets angry and numbers 11 and sends a great plague on them because of their unthankfulness and their attitude moses sends 12 men to spy out the land of canaan and caleb and joshua brought a favorable report said we can do this it's amazing that the land has giants but yes it flows with milk and honey and it's worth it but they are too afraid they believe that the land that flows with milk and honey is too powerful to conquer and they said these words we are like grasshoppers in our own sight anytime you're more impressed with the obstacles in front of you than the god who's with you you have a faith problem can i say that again any time you're more impressed with the trouble in front of you the obstacles in front of you than you are the god who's with you and in you you have a faith problem you have a belief problem you have a vision problem your god is greater than any diagnoses than any virus than any financial difficulty than any marital problem hear me very clearly your god is greater and the issue is how do you see yourself how can you see yourself as a grasshopper when you've been redeemed by god how can you look back at yourself and see yourself as insignificant when he chose you so as a punishment for their grumbling and their griping their complaining their negativity the lord decides that all israelites who complained aged 20 and upward would die without seeing the promised land so he removed an entire sector of people over 20 years old that were fussing and fighting he said no more no more complaining you will not inherit the promises that i told you you would inherit nathan the byram complained to moses is it a small thing they said that you brought us out of the land flowing with milk and honey to kill us in the wilderness but you also must make yourself a prince over us moreover you haven't brought us into a land flowing with milk and honey nor given us inheritance of field and vineyards that's number 16. at miraba the people got angry at moses again we wish we had died when our brothers died before jehovah why have you brought the assembly of jehovah into the wilderness that we should die and all of our animals why did we come up out of egypt to live in this evil place there's no seed no figs no vines no pomegranates neither is there water they're going back to the same arguments even of their parents they're angry they're frustrated and now suddenly we arrive in our text and the people spake against moses spake against god angry why have you brought us out here it's just the same ungratefulness repeated over and over and over the lord's patience has run out he sins in verse 6 of numbers 21 fiery serpents among the people and they bit the people and much the scripture said of israel died god takes our word serious you say why why are words so integrally important to god and why would me just being you know negative or critical why would that impede my progress spiritually or naturally why why does god take my complaints so serious let's just analyze it for a moment the god whose nature you're created in is a speaking god everything that exists that you partake of he created with words you were created in his image you were given all power as he had all power acts 1 and 8 jesus had all power in matthew 28 and then in acts 1 and 8 he gave you power after that which the holy ghost come upon you you're waiting for it you have power your words have power your words have dominion and authority you create as he creates so when you become negative it's the same concept behind why god despises liars have you ever wondered why you have you have adulterers and witchcraft and all this list and in the middle of that list of sins you have all liars liars shall i take their part all liars in the lake of fire why because god doesn't choose not to lie god cannot lie because his words have authority his words have powers you are called to manage your words so when you listen so so the the the reflection of god in your life is that you speak truth because truth is the dna it is the genetic reality of god he can only speak truth so when you speak falsehoods when you speak lies when you speak inconsistencies you align yourselves with the spirit of the devil an antichrist and you become more like the devil than you are god because he cannot tell the truth he is the father of all lies in other words he was the progenitor he was the creator of falsehood deception and lies so when you lie when you don't control your mouth you become more like satan than you are god that's why god says i take this grumbling stuff serious because you're not giving thanks you're not being gracious you're not having gratitude you're not worshiping me you are taking for granted the things i've done and you are refusing to give honor instead you are complaining and grumbling and being critical and can i tell you i'm not sure we've lived in an era that is more critical than today we have loosed a spirit of criticism in our communities and in our society by social media by by different facebook groups and different instagram comments and different twitter comments and you better be careful because someone will shame you or someone will cancel you and so what's happened is there is a negativity rising through the mouths of people and if i wanted to silence your creativity as a believer as a born-again christian you know what i would do i would shut your mouth because when you don't pray when you don't speak your faith you don't create you don't change the things because you speak the things that are not as if they were but when i put so much fear on how you talk and i attack you about what you do hear me when i do that as an adversary i cause you to be frightened to open your mouth and say we stand for righteousness we give god praise he is a healer he is a deliverer you've heard me say it until you risk your reputation god will not reveal his until you step out and say i may have a cancer diagnosis but god is my healer tell me that choice that affirmation releases god to show his deliverance but until you're willing to look a little crazy why would god do it if you're always silent if your motive is to fit in and not stand out you are not of this world you are only in this world you are called out ecclesia you are the church of god hear me clearly we got to be careful that the spirit of our age doesn't invade our churches i'm looking at a church with all kind of different political beliefs right now there is not there's pretty much nothing i could say politically that everybody in this room would agree with but we better be able to get past that and still worship god we better because if we don't we're no better than the world we're no better than the people that don't have the spirit of god hey there's all kind of colors in this room at last count there were 35 ethnicities in this church we got every color imaginable but if you're going to allow prejudice and racism and bigotry to hinder your ability to worship then you haven't really been redeemed you haven't been saved from egypt you still think like an egyptian you still look back on your old life and think it was okay and the lord takes what you say seriously look what happens in verse seven they're going through the wilderness god looses serpents in them because the lord has grown weary with their mouth weary with their complaints and moses is stepping over the disease and the dying and he's asking god you've got to cure him and the lord sends these fiery serpents and look at this verse seven they say we have sinned because we spoke against you and against god but notice they never said they'd sin till they start dying that's the way most of us do it's only when real trouble arrives that we start confessing when real trouble comes we're like pray for me pastor you know i've been living a life i shouldn't live but up until the trouble you just pretend to be nice to your spouse in the house of god fighting all the way to church walk in the house praise the lord good to see y'all god bless y'all because trouble makes you honest trouble will make you stop lying real trouble will make you own up to some situations in your life you need to get right you know there's a certain amount of guilt that comes along with knowing you created the chaos don't act like you don't know what i'm talking about when it gets bad enough you'll say i have sinned when it gets difficult enough you'll say my attitude wasn't right when it gets difficult enough you'll step back and take some ownership for the lifestyle for we have spoken against the lord and we have spoken against you and now we're getting bitten and now we're dying we're talking about you pastor but pray for us we've been making your life miserable but pray for us we've been keeping you up at night you can't even sleep but pray for us i don't know why how it works but people know who to run to when the trouble starts let me tell you something if you know how to pray everybody knows your name in the church you don't even know who they are they come up and say i need you to pray you got to pray the serpents are taken away from us i don't want these snakes and you know what a real leader does and moses prayed for the people a real leader will pray for you when you don't deserve prayer you see grace grace listen to me gives you what you don't deserve but mercy shields you from what you do deserve that's why we pray mercy over our lives that's when we pray god shield us from what we do deserve let me let me ask someone this question today is there something in your life trying to poison your future snakes and your family snakes and your marriage snakes and your relationships snakes in your business because sometimes you can't even pray your own snakes away and i would i would submit to you that it's impossible to pray your snakes away until you own up that you're the reason the snakes are there pray this pray the snakes away pastor but i'm not going to take any responsibility that there's chaos in my life no you got to step up carry the responsibility and say you know what i've been saying stuff i should have never said i've been living away i should have never lived that's why there's chaos breaking forth and pastor i need you to step up alongside me and pray with me that that spirit would be broken that that venom would be removed i need you to pray the things that are tearing up my peace and poisoning my joy that are biting my health my strength and my energy you know what i'm going to get an alignment in the spirit and i'm going to make a decision i won't live with the stakes any longer i won't bring myself down to their level i won't crawl with them i won't slither with them i won't let them slide into my life you need to declare war on every serpent in your life [Applause] you need to do it i'm declaring war on every bit of unthankfulness every bit of anger every bit of the issue that i won't forgive all of the frustration the anxiety the fear i declare at war moses is praying about snakes get out get out and god says the strangest thing god says we'll make one then what god you don't understand i'm praying to get rid of steaks and you're asking me to fashion a snake i'm praying to get rid of something and you're telling me to make it the lord says make thee a fiery serpent set it on a pole and it shall come to pass that when one that is bitten looketh at it he shall live and moses made a serpent of brass don't overlook that a serpent of brass in order to create a serpent of brass he had to take the brass and beat it he had to beat the brass and shape it through heat and beating into the shape of a snake that's why isaiah in isaiah 53 and 5 would say later he was wounded for our transgressions he was bruised for our iniquities the chastisement of his peace was upon him and with his stripes we are healed understand this jesus christ was beaten for those of you that have been bitten he was beaten that those of you that suffer the venom of the serpents in your life could be free moses lifted up hear me that which was beaten so anything that was bitten could look on the serpent that was beaten and be healed that's why oh and it came to pass listen if a serpent had bitten any man when he looked upon the serpent of bronze he lived somebody say he lived no wonder the writer declared and jesus said if i be lifted up i will draw all men unto me you've got to understand god took a beating so you could be free from what bits you but why why why did he have him make it into a cute little angel with a chubby belly and wings and naked with a little loincloth on why was it the image of what had afflicted them why didn't he make it into a dove well doves weren't really there yet it only fell at the jordan river so maybe they weren't religious symbols yet or why didn't he make it into some kind of holy emblem from scriptures well the scriptures weren't even written yet so i don't know why did he make it why did he make it a snake because a serpent is a wicked thing serpent is a slithering thing a crawling thing serpent is a cursed thing you know the first time we ever read about a serpent in the scripture he's in the garden and he's slithering down the path toward eve and i i did take a little poetic license there i don't know if he was slithering or not but but he was beguiling her offering her suggestions did you know the serpent in the garden never bit her not physically but he influenced her thinking with suggestions any time the enemy can get in your head he will manipulate your process and your purpose with his suggestions he will deal raid listen to me he will derail your destiny he will destroy your purpose he will complicate your path he will vex your anointing because more often than not this battle you're in is a battle of the mind not the flesh the serpent said that is not what god said god is holding back on you he's keeping you from something sure you can eat all the 99 other things all the other things but this one thing he keeps from you it's the best he just wants to keep you pushed down and pressed down do you know what the serpent did he contradicted her knowledge of god and that is the agenda of the adversary in our day he continues to come against what you know about god he challenges your knowledge of scripture he challenges your worship experience and what you've received from god that is why knowing god's word becomes so critical i get frightened of people today they like to say things about scripture like i think well i think can i can i not hurt your feelings and just say it doesn't matter what you think it matters what the word says no wonder the lord told us there would be a lack of teaching in the last days because it really matters what the lord said satan always opposes what god declares you to be he always has an alternate line of thought and often it's a justifiable path that sounds pretty accurate mostly correct and it appeals to our ego and our desires but can we can we dispel the snakes today amen if god says you're healed the enemy will come up and say you're gonna die you're not gonna make it that word was not for you because he always contradicts what god speaks over your life you have to insist on your healing or the enemy will convince you it's normal to suffer did you hear pastor you have to insist i will live again i will get up again i will worship again i i will not be stressed every day i will not be anxious and frustrated every moment of every day i will not fight this addiction for the rest of my life you have to insist on it because if you don't fight for it the enemy will manipulate your thought with suggestions everybody has a battle everybody has something they can't get over everybody has a problem they can't be free from if god says you're free the enemy will slither up and say you're not really free you're a fake you're a phony you know you're not really free you know the thoughts you've been having in the dark of the night and when nobody's around you're not really saved you're not really delivered and the only thing that can defend you is the word that god has spoken into your life you have to know maybe i need to quote it again in this church the righteous may fall seven times but he gets back up rejoice not against me o thou my enemy for when i fall i shall arise satan's trying to get his venom inside of you his poison inside of you his doubt his fear his anxiety but second corinthians 10 and 4 said the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through god to the pulling down of strongholds casting down imagination to every imaginary thought that has been suggested by the spirit of this world i take authority over it right now you have worth you have value regardless of your color i rebuke that spirit in the name of jesus you have an anointing and a purpose regardless of your past failings regardless of your mistakes you ought to believe it with me right now is there any believers in this house [Applause] say it with me loud say casting down imaginations every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of god and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of christ i'm gonna grab every thought that is contrary my deliverance and i ain't gonna let it repeat itself i'm not going to speak again in me i'm not going to let it manipulate me another day i'm going to run the snakes out you ought to resist the snake suggestions what you can't be what you can't have what you can't do what you can't become get the venom out no more fear no more intimidation no more insecurity no more pettiness no more anger no more lack of cooperation no more lack of unity no more lack of love because it's a curse and it has to go you cannot allow the snakes to live in your life you cannot allow them to coexist with you you can't pet them and have fun with them let go of our families let go of our minds let go of our creativity let go of our purpose stop attacking their anointing what amazes me is the word uses a snake against a snake moses is praying to get rid of snakes and god says how's this make a snake god don't even make sense sometimes that only makes sense sort of everybody who looks to the beaten dead snake will be healed from those who are bitten by the living snake god says make a snake moses make one make one make one make one make one you know the antidote to a snakebite is an interesting concept because you would think that god would use right to evict wrong good against evil but god uses evil against evil sin against sin the law of the lord the scripture says it's perfect the law tried to handle sin but it couldn't do it the law of the lord is perfect converting the soul but romans 8 and 3 listen close for what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh god sending his own son in the likeness of sinful flesh and force in condemn sin in the flesh god sent his son in the likeness in the very shape of the thing he came to destroy you ain't got it yet but you will he took on the form of iniquity even though he was not iniquity he took on the form of sin even though he was sinless john 3 and 14 and as moses lifted up the servant in the wilderness even so must the son of god the son of man be lifted up he who knew no sin became sin for us jesus became listen what he was not so we could become what we could not did you hear me jesus became what he was not so i could become what i could not the law could not do it but jesus stepped down across 42 generations of time wrapped himself in the form of a human being raised in the house of a carpenter without a hotel without a hospital and a little stable and yet somehow over 33 years he shifted the future of the world because he became sin that i could be free from sin second corinthians 5 and 21 for he that hath made him to be sin for us he made him to be sin for us who knew no sin that we might be made the righteousness of god in him i can't look back on egypt with fond remembrance he's been too good to for me he became my sin that i might be free from sin jesus became sin to save the sinner do you know naturally naturally in medicine that when you're bitten by a snake that the anti-venom that heals you is made from the same venom that bit you anti-venom is made by collecting venom from the relevant animal and injecting small amounts into a domesticated animal like a horse they allow that horse to go through the process of being ill from the snake venom and then as that horse recovers they take that anti-venom and that blood from that horse and refined it and from that blood they produce anti-venom it's incredibly expensive to produce anti-venom typically it takes anywhere from six to fifteen doses sometimes as many as thirty doses of anti-venom to get you over a venomous snake bite those doses can run anywhere from three to twelve thousand dollars a dose oftentimes snake bite victims have hospital bills just for anti-venom north of a hundred and fifty thousand dollars but the same thing that brings the curse brings the blessing just listen because i will say it again the same thing that brought the curse brings the deliverance the same thing that released poison in you brings the healing because the antidote comes from the venom because your battle brings your breakthrough and i can tell you this what the devil meant for evil god turned it for good you need to shout god turned it for good you need to believe that i told you last night if it's not your last week if it's not good god's not done you need to shout god because listen to me the doctor needs someone who's been sick to make someone well watch this first corinthians 10 and 13. there hath no temptation taking you but such as common to man you're not going to be treated any more unfair than anyone else is going to be treated there's nothing taken to you coming to you that is just not just common to life stop fussing but god is faithful so when things come that are common to life you have god who is faithful listen who will not suffer you to be tempted above that which you are able but will with the temptation and i like this part also make a way of escape that you may be able to bear it you see i didn't realize the same thing that came to temp me was also the same thing that was going to give me a way of escape because the antidote was made from the venom you see what some meant for evil god's going to take that evil and make me a way of escape he's going to make me good i'll just prove this to you when goliath came down to fight david he goliath brought the sword to kill david but the same sword he was going to kill david with is the sword david cut glass heads with what what people mean against you god's going to take that same struggle and give you victory so that then you can celebrate the way of escape because the antidote comes from the venom you see often the thing we're running from is the very thing god's going to use to bless us because god's way of escape may come through the very thing you dislike about yourself what you call a weakness god calls a strength no wonder the writer said let the weak say i am strong because his perfect his strength is made perfect in weakness your weakness becomes your strength when you let god convert it because god makes antidotes from the venom you see the antidotes to the snake bites are made from the very poison that was meant to kill but the antidote takes that poison and makes you live what was meant to harm you is the main ingredient that gives you freedom and even though you've been bitten hear me the serum comes from the very trouble you're in the same thing that brings the curse brings the healing what the enemy meant for evil god turns it for good you don't believe me moses was not a missionary moses was a murderer he ran he was violent but the very same thing that caused him to run the murder and the violence from that violent spirit god could have picked someone more qualified but he chose someone who was a killer to bring deliverance who i feel the holy ghost right now but as long as moses only saw himself as a murderer he ran from his destiny but when he stood with no shoes on by a burning bush he realized out of my violence can come peace out of my anger can come healing and out of my wrong agenda to deliver israelites can come god's purpose to deliver israelites the antidote was made from the venom that lived in him moses was somebody's antidote even though he was someone else's venom do you understand jonah let's let's talk about jonah for a minute jonah go down there and preach to nineveh because nineveh needs to repent what does jonah do be disobedient he said i ain't going down there i'm running i don't want to do that i'm a bigot i'm a little bit of a racist i don't like the ninevites i ain't going why would god send jonah to preach to the disobedient when jonah disobeyed when god asked him to go [Laughter] because god uses the venom to create the solution why would god send a bigot to preach salvation why would god send a racist to preach repentance because god's going to use the very venom that made him run to tarshish god uses us out of our worst state when he fell all the way to the bottom of the sea when he was swallowed up by the fish and he finally repented god didn't make him prove himself god just vomited him out of the fish on the beach and said go preach god turned him around and he turned nineveh around by his preaching preach repentance and you've only just repented did you hear that go preach repentance and you've only just repented god used a man who had barely got up from sin and to preach a sermon that changed the city you can't handle what i'm trying to tell you today i'm trying to tell you you may not look the part act the part or be the part but god can still use your junk and turn it into a miracle god can still use your anger your failings are frustrating i'll prove it again aaron aaron the high priest of israel was dancing naked around a calf made of gold and pastor moses has gone up on the mountaintop and he looked down at aaron at the bottom of the mountain dancing naked with the whole congregation getting there crazy on i was going to say freak but i don't want to offend you and while they're dancing naked god is designing a priestly garment look it up you don't believe me while he's down there dancing around a golden calf god's designing clothes for the high priest because god always makes an antidote out of venom he said moses i've picked one man to lead the israel the congregation of israel as the high priest he said who is that lord whoa who's the anointed man is it is it this guy is it this guy he goes you see that dude down there dancing naked around the calf with all the people he's my choice i'm not telling you to go out tonight and do something foolish all right i'm not telling you to go out and be crazy and what i am telling you is god was going to make a man who was manipulated by bad thoughts and bad actions and bad agendas and god was going to give that one man access to the holy of holies he's naked right now moses but sin that i could become the righteousness of god simon peter he's an anti-venom he's cussing up a blue streak that's what my mama used to say i'm not exactly sure what the blue streak represents with cussing cuz i'm like a sailor i don't know him blankety blink blink blink blank i really don't know him some more blanks i really really really don't know him i should've had that sound effect in my sermon and he goes out in the wilderness and he weeps bitterly because he thinks it's over the venom has destroyed him it's done it's over he's afraid simon peter denied him so bad he thought he couldn't ever come back but the scripture said when jesus got up from the dead he said hey tell everybody to meet me in galilee hey and go get simon peter because i'm not through with him yet in fact first corinthians we don't really know what all happened we we know that jesus got off the cross we know that he he saw mary and martha we know that he meets the guys on the road to emmaus we know that he shows up in a room later we don't really know what happens for a little while but first corinthians says he was seen of cephas he went out what are you crying for dude i've been making clothes while you've been weeping i've been getting you ready and that man with just in a few weeks would preach the inaugural message of pentecost that would change the world because out of our sickness out of our disease out of satan's venom god makes anti-venom he brings people back but the devil has told you that you could never be used of god again but the devil is a liar and the father of every lie and i rebuke it in the name of jesus you're not a your life is not over out of the poison comes the healing you want to give god about 30 seconds of love right now can i go on the apostle paul is an assassin he kills people for a living he goes from city to city with anger and aggression he's a christian killer he's going to stamp out the belief in jesus christ and god caught him on the road to damascus and he said you think you're venom to my church you think you're poisoned to my faith but i'm gonna make some anti-viral venom out of you and when i get through with you son you're blind now and you're frightened now but you're gonna write two-thirds of the new testament you're gonna be the greatest apostle of the new testament church because i'm about to shift your life if you believe what i'm preaching and you believe god can turn your life around just jump up with me and spit all the way around now look at your neighbor look at your neighbor and say that's what god's about to do with your life see that's what god's about to do with your ministry that's what god's about to do with your family that's what god's about to do with your anointing it's about to turn around something's going to shift [Applause] raise your hands right now and say it say he'll make beauty out of my ashes he'll make joy out of my mourning victory out of my defeat anti-venom out of my venom the very thing that the enemy has used to get you god said i'm about to make something beautiful out of it the very thing that's been killing your joy the anger the frustration the depression god says i'm about to give you a testimony i'm about to give you a song i'm about to give you an anointing that is greater than the venom that tried to destroy you it was good for me that i was afflicted [Applause] it wasn't good for you that you made a mistake but it was good for you because god's about to take the mess and turn it into a miracle it wasn't good that you got yourself in trouble but god's about to turn the trouble into triumph you hear me don't you forget what god's done for you so far ah those that have been an addict can minister more affected for those who are in addiction those that fight depression can minister more effectively to those who are fighting depression those who have been through a divorce can minister more effectively to those who are going through divorce those who are stricken with cancer can minister faith better to those who are stricken with cancer you hear me people who have never been through anything don't know how to handle people that are hurting people that have never suffered don't know how to have empathy for people who have suffered but when you booed through hell and you made it back when you've been through trouble and you stepped out i know some of you right now you're going through hell don't stay there get out keep moving keep going keep believing why don't you throw your hands up and remember what god's done for you you better have something hot today ej could it be could it be could it be that you're not seeing your past correctly that all the while you're suffering all the while you're crying all the while you're mourning all the while you're agonizing all the while you're complaining god's just getting anti-venom ready god's just getting a solution to change your life the very thing that almost killed you that brought you to your knees that made you think you could never be anointed that made you think you were worthless that undermine your anointing and your confidence you don't understand it but let me tell you god wasn't trying to kill you god was just making a solution an anti-venom he was creating an anti-antidote so you can minister to someone else say this with me say god isn't trying to kill me god's just making a cure out of me whew say it again like you mean it say god wasn't trying to kill me he was just making a cure out of me now say it this way say the devil was trying to kill me but god's making a cure out of me i had my wife and i had coveted 19 sick for two to three weeks running fevers now i have antibodies i have plasma that can heal you they've been approving the cdc has approved the use of convalescent plasma therapy because when they put my plasma or someone's plasma in someone who is sick and fighting covet 19 the antibodies within my plasma within someone who has been sick and recovered helps to heal those who have coveted 19. i didn't realize when i was running a fever for nine days and the headache that i thought would split my skull in half and the cough and the difficulty breathing i didn't realize god was making a cure out of me god was creating an antidote in me you see you've been going through some difficult situations saying i don't like it get me out of here it was better in egypt i need to go back to where i was i don't like this freedom i don't like this no i hate it i don't like this light bread and god said don't be silly i'm just getting a cure ready i'm creating something in you that's going to heal someone else [Applause] why would god use simon peter quick to deny quick to curse quick to quit why would god use paul a violent murderer who took pleasure in seeing people stoned he held the coats of the people that bit the flesh from stephen's bones why would you lose use moses who murdered an egyptian and ran and wandered for 40 years why use an indecisive confused individual why why would you use these people that have been bitten attacked why god why use the people that have venom in their spirits i'll tell you why you ready because they survived whatever you survive can become an antidote for those who are fighting what you fought because you survived you built up an immunity to what the person near you and the church might be fighting right now there's some of you you've been in the church a long time you've been experiencing god's goodness god's grace for a long time and you don't realize what you've been through is the antidote someone needs right behind you in the pew today you you thought your ministry was over i'm too old to be making impact on a church like this you know i don't know enough people it's growing too big it's too fast i can't i can't know you hear me very clearly because you have survived the disaster the depression the divorce the bankruptcies the fear the loneliness the loss of jobs the financial uncertainties because you survived god says you're my cure because some of these people they're going to make it by the blood and by the word of their testimonies i'm telling you right now someone in this house you have the capabilities because you've been healed to lay hands on someone and see them healed because you have survived the despair to lay hands on someone fighting depression and say i call you out of that depression right now i've been where you are i'm gonna call you every day on the phone i'm gonna encourage you through a text i'm gonna be accountable with you because i am the antidote to what you're fighting can i say it if you survived abuse you're an antidote if you survived a sinful lifestyle you have the antidote in you if you survived violence you're an antidote loneliness rape molestation bad choices addiction sin you survived you survived and god has left you on this earth to be a cure for somebody to be an answer for somebody to be a help to somebody don't spend so much energy trying to impress people like you hadn't been through something don't put your suit on and your tie on and make sure your pants are creased just right and you're and and you feeling just right about yourself don't spend so much time done to put on the idea that you've never been through hell and came out a little smelling like smoke because it is your survival that feeds my spirit because i say if elder hog can go through it i can get through it oh yeah if marty balostero can walk the road i can walk the road with my faith intact oh yeah beth lopez can go through it and she can be here still serving god i can walk through it too you're somebody's cure right now raise those hands and let the spirit of god sweep into this house [Music] whew god uses you because of what you've survived god uses bitten people because you endured there's something in you right now that god wants to use to cure another student another young person another family it doesn't matter what's inflicted you if you're if you have some venom in you right now why don't you just say i'm coming out i shall be healed it's not over this is two altar calls today and they're very significant one it's an altar invitation for people who you're fighting some venom you feel sick and hurting broken dying and you're not sure how it's going to turn out but you're a little overwhelmed so we're going to give you an invitation to let the spirit of god minister to your life but i'm also giving an invitation to every person in here that believes what you have survived will become a cure for someone else and you're going to open yourself up to the obedience of god's word and say god who do i need to pray for who do i need to minister to you know i i hear i i was looking around earlier and i see john in the middle john jefferson there john jimerson a life of addiction and drugs and violence and he stands with his hands raised in the middle aisle pulled over at an international border with a vehicle filled with illicit drugs but here he stands a survivor redeemed i i look at gary kai kendall his wife virginia served god went to church week after week after week she'd come home he's lying in the in the recliner intoxicated drunk addicted to alcohol but god but god and now he stands on the front row after service leaping and dancing because god broke that addiction because what was the venom in your life is the cure for another addict a cure for another alcoholic you hear me right now those of you that have fought some despair and depression you're coming out of it god's got purpose for your life god's got an anointing for your life if you're going through something right now and you need god to help you get out of it if something is inflicted you bitten you changed your thinking manipulated you i want you to hurry to this altar right now because we're going to pray we'll give you space but we're going to pray for a breakthrough in your spirit today if that's you come on there's people coming right now people coming right now our second time guest leaping and jumping up and down while the pastor's preaching received the holy ghost and baptized last sunday we give god thanks for that but if something's bitten you look at that young man coming in two survivors coming with him right now two survivors coming to lay hands on him right now if you're a survivor you need to raise your hands in the air begin to reach for someone if you knew someone if you know someone that has survived some difficulties if you know someone that is going through some difficulties you need to get near him and pray the prayer of faith right now i know this isn't everybody he's going through something i know this isn't everyone who's going through difficulty you need to fill this altar right now i'm going to tell you what's about to happen listen listen to pastor there's people coming who need a true breakthrough in their spirit there's people standing in the pew that need one i want you to let the lord talk to you because the lord's going to tell you who to pray for in this house you're going to look around and say you know i need to go to that person i need to put them on a prayer list i need to reach toward them right now because because the lord is telling me i don't even know what they're going through but i feel a drawing to cover them in prayer a drawing to ask god to give them a breakthrough a drawing to ask god to get rid of the venom in them close your eyes all over this house lord i'm asking you right now to speak to our church family those present and those on the internet lord speak to them right now lord speak to them who to pray for what to pray what to say who to intercede for who to be the cure for who to encourage who to pray with and inspire who to anoint lord i want you to speak to the people of god right now in the name of jesus the enemies trying to poison our future and poison our anointing poison our destiny i rebuke it in the name of jesus lord there's somebody that needs encouragement right now there's somebody that needs the anointing of the holy ghost to fall on them right now i rebuke the poison of the adversary i rebuke the poison the venom of the adversary i take authority right now come on that's it pray in the holy ghost pray in the holy ghost right now pray in the holy ghost jesus became sin that you would not have to know sin i want you to hurry to this altar if you've never been baptized you need to be baptized in the name of jesus today you never receive the gift of the holy spirit you need to open your mouth and begin to pray in the holy ghost right now you need to talk in tongues you need to let the power of god baptize you right now come on that's it that's it something's happening in the house of god right now right now [Music] i take authority over every spirit of fear every spirit of pain every issue of manipulation every bit of venom
