first today for many of us taming childrens unruly hair is a daily ritual but what if your little ones locks can't be tamed but that's exactly what our next guests know all about as seven-year-old winter suffers from a condition called uncodable hair syndrome it's thought to affect just one hundred people in the world well she joins us today alongside her mom Charlotte and welcome to both of you it's so lovely to have you here winter thank you for coming along as well and it's a Charlotte to begin with when she was first thought what sort of hair did win to have as a baby she had a full head of jet-black hair really yeah so it changed quite frequently didn't it from yeah ex just explain what happens arted to fall out after a few months to knit and it sort of came through blonde and sort of sprouted and quite white blonde hair super straight to blonde hair actually and then went on to sort of come out with a bit of a wave eventually it was sort of change sort nine months all the dark hair started to go and then when winter got to two it went super straight yep yep no definitely because our sisters have got blonde hair so we were kind of when she come out with black hair a little bit shocked actually and so yeah when it started going blonde I did think where's this going well by three it was uncontrollable pretty much yeah so in what-what way uncontrollable is it difficult to brush is it it's very difficult to brush it saw to brush it's quite matted that's the only way I can describe it and because it's longer now it's M you can hide it a little bit more can't wait and but underneath it's very wiry very sort of matted together isn't it and when you say it's sorta brush winter does it hurt when you try and get a hairbrush your yeah it does it and does it feel like it's pulling a bit when your mum brushes it yeah so how do you look after I guess because hair has to be brushed I guess when you go to school has to be tied back I know you're a dancer so you know for dance events hair normally has to be quite neatly tied away with Lisa we struggle don't we we've tried absolutely everything every product chicken think of and the only thing that seems to help a little bit is oil any sort of oil seems to give it a bit of tainless to it but it still ends up going really crazy will you worry about what other people think I did yeah when she was little because I used to think that things really weren't taking very much care of her right because she just she looked so messy didn't you you're gonna love that lift for it when you're older Liv diagnosed well I'd heard about it when she was very young and sort of thought and I think of it and then googled it later on when she was a little bit older oh my goodness I actually think she's got this and sort of left it a long times I just thought don't wanna wait for doctors time really it's not really that much of a problem and when I just took her to it along to a doctor's appointment that I was having myself at the time and just sort of asked why we were there so the doctor heard of it not really knows that stupid research terms of the doctor googled as well yep the doctor did some research and yeah they agreed didn't they winter and so this is this untamable hair syndrome that we're talking about so so what is it what did you discover about it so Albert Einstein supposedly had to had a vision coat so you're obviously gonna be a genius I yes quite right he had the condition and it's a little bit like afro-caribbean hair but however it is slightly different it's a little bit and manageable compared to their hair so we've gone down that route as well haven't we with the afro-caribbean product hmm I'm still nothing has worked really hope in the chat rooms because I know there are be you've got you've got together with other people who yes who also know all about it what did they say did they say that you grow out of it did they say that it eventually it stops yep supposedly when they hit puberty it's meant to lessen but there's people out there that it hasn't you know got any better really yeah and then so expect to it is meant to but we're hoping so aren't we do you what do you think of it what do you like do you like your hair well it's crazy and I like it like it yeah quite right - and you say it kind of matches your personality a bit really does it yeah isn't it yeah absolutely what do your friends say at school nothing they just know it's you isn't it she's just that they don't recognize our oh no I don't even notice it I think a lot of people would actually be quite jealous I think you've got great hair I really really do and also I want to show this because you came in this morning clutching this picture which you drew which is absolutely lovely so thank you very much thank you for having me Phil and Holly and all of this morning lots of love winter was an absolute pleasure love meeting you in having you here today thank you winter thank you you

Why is there so many worthless conditions now, next thing you know there will be a irresponsible syndrome used as an excuse.
