The 6 Reselling Channels That Have Made Me The Most Money

hey there my name is Matt I am a full-time reseller and if you're watching this you're probably already subscribed to me so you know what my deal is if you don't know what my deal is I do quick flipping for primarily men's clothing on eBay and Poshmark and I am a fairly new full time reseller I've been reselling for about three or four years I don't exactly recall then a full timer for about half a year after getting laid off from a full time job and the purpose of this video is to kind of give you a little bit of an aerial view of other channels that I recommend washing I do not in any way pretend to be anything close to an expert when it comes to reselling well that's not entirely true I would consider myself I possess expertise in a few specific areas when it comes to reselling but I I consume reselling content voraciously and broadly and these are the channels that I recommend watching on the basis of them being channels I've watched and continue to watch that have actually directly made me money I have used the advice I have learned on these channels and it has directly translated into actual profit for me so this is not just a popularity contest these are people that I like I do happen to like all of them on a personal level but this is this isn't just content that I enjoy watching this is stuff that I recommend because it has improved my ability to resell and I think will improve yours and I say this under the general proviso of I've learned from basically every channel that I've watched I mean if you look at my subscriptions list there's pretty much everybody on here and I do watch everybody but these are the people that I really focus on in terms of I watch the majority of their stuff and I pay close attention to it and I put it in to practice because they've earned her my trust so these are in no particular order either I just kind of popped these up for my from my menu here this guy I just have gotten deep into Dawn the auction professor he in my book is really the first and last word when it comes to a lot of stuff especially eBay he is intimately familiar with how the algorithm works he's been reselling for I think a decade and is highly analytical does a lot of research market research and just has a lot of really interesting things to say on a micro and macro level recently he put out a video about how to increase your sales on eBay and it was a trick that took about 60 seconds to implement and it's probably maybe a couple hundred dollars and in the past week so there's a lot of stuff like that and he has a deep library of content I don't know how many videos exactly he has but he's been around for a long time and I really I give this guy a huge benefit of the doubt I mean he's just someone really trustworthy and someone who's not shilling for you know mentor ships or training courses or anything like that not that there's necessarily anything wrong with that but I tend to put more trust in people who don't do that and he doesn't he just appears to do this for the love of the game and presumably because he makes a little bit of passive income off of his videos or maybe a lot I don't know but this guy gets my my stamp of approval for sure for whatever whatever that endorsement is worth and my anyway the second guy is in in contention for the guy who has made me the most money of anybody on YouTube maybe with the exception of whoever made the initial videos that got me into reselling in the first place I don't exactly call who those people were if you are subscribed to my channel it's probably because you know Rick then you watch his stuff if you don't he does clothing selling I think exclusively and he goes for a high average sales price so he poaches luxury goods from thrift stores and sells them at high high high markup so he sells them his average selling price is sixty-five dollars he aims to get 65 or more in terms of the final final amount paid by the buyer including free shipping and he makes more money than I do and I I have complete trust in his in his judgment and his endorsements the man is a walking encyclopedia of clothing knowledge and watching his videos it's like standing in front of a fire hose of of knowledge of clothing knowledge and just getting you know blasted and it every single video is just so dense with info it's just an information dump and whatever whatever it is that you can you can hang on to and recall when you're out thrifting will make you money I mean I've made hundreds of dollars based off of these videos and he's relatively a new a new youtuber he's been around seven months and I you know he's on his way to being I think one of the big one of the big accounts and he definitely deserves to be and deserves your attention so can't recommend highly enough if you are around YouTube and you resell and you know rally roots as far as I know these are the the two biggest reseller personalities in terms of clothing on YouTube and you know just really I the temptation is to say you know they've there's some sacrifice of the quality of their videos for their popularity but not really they're their videos are really super beginner friendly and very straightforward and and relatively very dense with info for reselling videos it's mostly just recommendations for thanks the source how to source and their their thinking when it comes to their business policies and business practices and how they run their business their their business is a little at least personally not not super relatable they have multiple employees they have a warehouse they do a lot of wholesaling but their routes so to speak are in garage saling and thrifting and specifically doing clothing so if you're a new clothing reseller they have great orioles just really kind of a solid grasp of the basics and i've implemented a lot of their advice I don't source exactly in the way that they source but I think they have a lot to say and they especially have a lot to say about taking good product photos second good clothing photos so in the off chance that you don't know rally roots they're worth checking out Akil is wow he is shot way up in subs so he's he's getting popular and he deserves it he does clothing he does eBay and Poshmark he's the guy that got me to start selling on on Poshmark as well and kind of the same feel Israeli roots he basically just does Q&A videos and sourcing videos or haul videos rather in what's old videos and it's just really kind of bread-and-butter straightforward here's what I bought here's what I sell it for go by this don't buy this just kind of just really straightforward solid consistently good content and he has a business model that is fairly similar to my own he focuses primarily on stuff that sells quickly he has a 30-day attempts a 30-day turnaround time for his stuff so he's sourced his stuff that's really in demand and he does and he does clothing from overpriced Goodwill's and he you know he's just like a cool dude this is I don't I don't watch this channel as much as the others but I think that this is a really good starting point for newer sellers who are not super confident and they're sourcing he has sourcing tutorials that are great they're like POV videos of his phone and he goes out and he does various forms of arbitrage he does a lot of retail arbitrage and yeah like these liquidation arbitrage videos I don't do a lot of that stuff but in terms of his just methodology of sourcing he's really clear on on what his methods are and gives you live demos of how to do it and I've learned a lot from that and he's given me a lot of ideas so if you're new you don't know how to look stuff up on your phone I would recommend seeking out those those tutorials the last guy I'm it was a little surprised I searched for his channel and it doesn't appear to be up anymore I don't know if he took it down or what this is a guy named Chad whose channel was slash potentially is golden finger picker and I can't find the channel but he is he's kind of the the godfather of the quick flip he is probably the most outspoken quick flipper on reselling YouTube and got a lot of heat for it but his his thinking is just really solid and he's I watched one of his interview videos I think it was with Drake and where he he lays out maybe it was this one he lays out his thinking about why the quick flipping model makes the most sense in terms of how to make the most money and it was hugely influential in the way that I went about reselling and it was kind of a foundational moment for my current business model and this is relevant not only if you sell clothing but you more so if you sell other stuff if you sell hard goods videogames electronic stuff like that that's that's what he does he doesn't do any clothing at all as far as I know but just a really smart guy funny guy and has made me a ton a ton a ton of money so that's it if you like my content you may like these people
