The $20,000 V6 Swapped Suzuki Samurai

what is going on guys we are at my car dealership in bb arkansas and i have a surprise for you guys you're gonna really like this one you saw it from the title i'm gonna show you probably the coolest off-road vehicle money can buy hands down um unless you you know start spending 50 80 100 000 uh but for under 15 grand this is the coolest coolest coolest and i'm not being biased maybe it sounds like i am prove me wrong if i'm not but let me show you it first um we're at my car lot it's in the back i'm going to show you uh basically a walk around of this insane beast and then show you beast out i put new wheels and tires on it from the last video i sold the old ones they paid for these brand new wheels and tires and they look much better they're much lighter but give me one second here is the 1988 suzuki samurai look at that monster it is a 1988 suzuki samurai it has an insane amount of work done to it about the the person that sold it to me said about 20 000 25 000 or 20 000 in upgrades alone on this samurai which sounds insane but i will give uh i will say that the uh motor and transmission are crate motors so they could have saved money there they spent six thousand just on the motor and transmission um i guess having it crate with zero miles on it is awesome for the next owner aka me or whoever i sell it to but i would have went to cheaper route so that's kind of inflated i would say like 18 000 in work done but let me show you this thing so it is orange it's got rhino liner everywhere on the side it's got the kc lights if you guys know anything about these samurais they are like half the weight maybe not half but a lot lighter than a jeep wrangler um i mean this thing is crazy let me show you underneath it i guess we'll go slow and walk around it's got the rough country uh double double whammies on it steering stabilizer all that stuff you've got the oversized radiator that you can kind of see partly over there it is like a sunburst orange it kind of reminds me of that camaro orange it's got the uh nice oh man don't get don't kill me samurai lovers removable door i guess like hinges um these are 31 inch uh oh man uh yokohama geo lander mts they're 31 by 10 50 if i'm not mistaking wide and i had 33s on it but they were too much and since it doesn't have power steering the 33s were 33 by 1250 and you couldn't like turn the wheel and it was really wearing out the gearbox or the steering box so i put these on it with the bead locks and they look extremely good the pro comp they're really like replica bead locks but they look awesome you've got the double the the fox shocks with the piggyback next to it that makes it look insane you can see the spring there i mean it is just well done no rust at all on the frame none just a nice setup if you come down here i can't remember the exact lift size but i mean it is done better than any any samurai i've ever seen look at the transmission look how new it is like i said it was a crate transmission look at that i mean flawless you you would be able to tell see if i can get a shot of it under there you've got the step sides right there to help you get in it come back here same thing frame is perfect you know it had leaf springs they took those off boom boom boom um you come around here you've got this oh you got the spare tire let's see if it's helpful any at all oh yeah there it is you got the spare tire on the back suzuki look how sick that is suzuki lights up at night it's a brake light so it lights up red and it says suzuki through the metal it is crazy sorry it's not the cleanest come under here there is your fox shocks on the rear with the springs boom i forget if they're toyota axles or not i'll have to look at the paperwork um but man it'll run like 70 miles an hour now for the engine it is crazy the engine's like wild wild um look at that just look how clean that is i mean i didn't clean it up for this video at all i mean it is like just perfect look at the transmission jesus just a freaking awesome three link rear suspension i'm pretty sure three link you come inside this seat is torqued up you've got carpet inside i didn't finish putting it in the back i did dynomat the whole tub has been riding aligned and then on top of the rhino line it's dynamited and then on top of that insulation and carpet so it's a really quiet ride for the engine swap and these samurais i put it in the door it is much much quieter than any other samurai really that i've seen good paint job on it you've got the diamond plated doors we'll open the hood i mean it is quiet inside the road noise is so much less than most these samurais because and i know a lot of people probably don't care because there's no sound deadening in these little they're really like tin cans but um i went out of my way i spent like two days putting some dynamat in it or having someone do it and uh yeah let me show you this engine and there is the vortech 4.3 v6 engine uh rhino lined the entire inside too new battery on it uh cold air intake you can see you have the oversized radiator it's a whole kit with the e fans in the front can you see hey you can kind of see the e fan right there in the front um stays cool does not run hot doesn't use oil oil is probably still clean yep it's not bad at all look at the oil clean as can be crate motor great transmission uh don't remember exactly when it was put in maybe like 12 or 13 but yeah i mean this thing has been inside the whole time always kept well the computer's inside under the in on the firewall you got the rhino liner under there i mean everything's been redone this thing has been completely stripped redone 1988 samurai i'll take you inside um also on these doors if anyone knows anything about samurais uh like i was saying about the sound editor most the time if you hit the door it's like super tinny really it sounds like this real real loud and when you drive down the road especially with like mud tires it's so annoying to drive and since this is like a really really nice one i wanted to go overboard and i put a bunch of sound deadener and it really helped quiet in the ride like if you shut the door they usually sound terrible it's like better than a jeep i mean super quiet uh here's the driver's seat there you go five speed got the uh i don't know about the wood grain wheel but that's what it's got rhino liner on the dash the dash could be shined up i didn't really do it for the video uh but man this is a wild wild ride and if you guys are interested send me a direct message everything works on it full drive works i actually took it out in the snow uh for a day and uh yeah i mean everything works flawlessly you've got the lockers on the front there i mean it is a crazy ride the orange matches the outside it is probably one of the craziest little samurais i've definitely ever seen i mean there's a side shot of it you can see the fox shocks it's just wild it's absolutely crazy oh i forgot to turn it on for you guys i remember someone in the last video said i'm waiting for a startup video also i put a high amp alternator this is a 85 amp alternator when i put it on the belt i don't know what happened but it squeals now that i put the the alternator on it so uh you'll hear it start up i'll let it let it run for you guys right now but the belt does have a squeal it's totally fine the other alternator just went out on me so i put an it was a 55 amp so i put this blacked out really nice uh 85 amp alternator on it um new battery i mean i've done a few things to it but yeah let me start it up for you guys real quick you've also got your uh temperature gauges down there which you can see and you can hide these wires i probably will do it that's for the stereo i've got the back seat to it as well right there it's got a subwoofer set up but i didn't put it back in there oh here we go see the uh alternator [Music] runs good just alternators uh very loud at squealing so i mean it kind of it settles down um but man it is a good running vehicle i mean probably only got 3 000 miles on the motor at most maybe less and transmission but uh yeah i mean it runs good there it is so now it's stopped squealing there's a fuel pressure [Music] whoa there we go now it stopped so now we are good but yeah that is my 1988 suzuki samurai probably the coolest off-road vehicle i've ever had one of the coolest off-road vehicles you money can buy hands down i'm going to be selling this vehicle um send me a direct message click my instagram link down below give me a follow uh you
