[Music] [Applause] [Music] welcome to Mojo plays and today we're looking at the greatest mods for Bethesda games that fix or drastically overhaul them before we begin we publish new content all week long so be sure to subscribe and ring the bell to get notified about our latest videos The Unofficial Patches by The Unofficial patch project team nearly every Bethesda game has one of these vast unofficial patches all put together by the same dedicated team these patches do what Bethesda can't going into the games and fixing the masses of bugs the engine still produces the mods are still regularly updated with the aim of someday fixing every single bug in games like Fallout 4 Skyrim Oblivion and Fallout 3 some of the most infamously buggy games ever released this is no small undertaking but considering those games are still full of gamebreaking glitches it is a necessary one if only Bethesda would have done this itself instead of leaving it up to their Community oh God oh God oh God snap and build by ad 3DO Fallout 4 it's inevitable I'm afraid and coming sooner than you may think if you catch my meaning the series was pushed to new limits with the addition of the huge settlement building mechanic in Fallout 4 but any player can tell you that the building isn't all that intuitive it's slightly improved in Starfield with the addition of an overhead view but modders have been hard at work making it better in Fallout 4 too this mod adds a new selection of part packs so that you have more options in what you create at your settlements including green [Music] houses these are based on assets found in the open world but that aren't originally part of the building there's also a companion mod called clean snap and build that makes all the textures clean and new as if the nuclear apocalypse never happened [Music] skyi by Skyy team the Elder Scrolls 5 Skyrim these games are big and very complex which means that often the UI gets unwieldy that's true in Fallout but it's also true in Skyrim which doesn't have a handy pit boy to make the convoluted menus into a part of the game this is one of the most popular mods for Skyrim with over 25 million total downloads once you've played it with this better more streamlined UI you'll never be able to go back to the vanilla version see if you it open with some pi and it's not the only Bethesda game to receive an improved UI mod because there's also the star UI inventory mod for Starfield adding subcategories and submenus to organize your items you can even customize what information you want to see from which items New Vegas bounties by some guy 2000 Fallout New Vegas he turned and grabbed the target's child little redheaded boy that's when I shot him I shouldn't say anymore are you ready to work or not there's a lot to do in Fallout New Vegas but for its Die Hard fans never enough this mod is actually a Trilogy of mods that add optional bounties to New Vegas each with new NPCs and new dialogue some guy 2000 is a prolific and respected modder for Bethesda games and the bouny series are some of his best work they're practically required if you're playing New Vegas on PC and include even more references to pop culture than the base game everything from Freddy Krueger himself showing up as a bounty to characters from Cormac McCarthy's novels simply put there's something for everyone in these expansions quick start by Seth Creed Fallout 3 because involved 101 no one ever enters and no one ever leaves maybe growing up sitting the goat and Escaping The Vault was enjoyable the first time but if you're replaying Fallout 3 there's a good chance you'll want to skip all that bloat this quick start mod is extremely popular for that reason starting at the beginning of the Escape Quest as you leave Vault 101 to track your missing father through the capital Wasteland shoot even better the options to Respec and redesign your character are part of the base game at that point with the menu automatically triggering when you leave the Vault for the first time almost as if it was designed to be skipped there are similar mods for Skyrim 2o a game with an even more notorious intro sequence another green mod by Voss 80 Fallout 4 there are many mods that Revitalize the Commonwealth adding life back to the Wasteland after all it is a little odd that over 200 years after the war The Greenery should be so sparse and that's what modders are aiming to fix we got nuts this particular mod adds in grass and new trees and even comes with additional add-ons to grow even more grass and trees as well as making the Commonwealth a more pleasant place to be it adds to the apocalyptic Feeling by showing how overgrown everything has become with grass on every surface considering Fallout 4 has less Flora than Fallout 76 which is set much sooner after the or this mod is a breath of fresh air Starfield performance optimizations by rck Starfield easily Starfield is the most polished least buggy game made by Bethesda but it's still Bethesda so compared to other AAA games it's full of issues one of its biggest drawbacks is its performance as it notoriously runs at only 30 frames per second on consoles and it can take some pretty powerful Hardware to push it beyond that on PC as well it's a simple enough mod but it massively improves performance and it includes a potato mode to help Run the game at bare minimum settings on lower-end machines Bethesda itself now has a road map for adding fixes and improvements to Starfield but yet again the modders have done it first and they've likely done it better good one Skyrim 22x by fucher the Elder Scrolls 5 Skyrim Bethesda has re-released and revamped Skyrim countless times including massively improving the visuals for the special edition but there are some things only modders have been able to accomplish including the Skyrim 22x highres texture [Music] mod with thousands of new files added to the game the ultimate aim is to rework and improve every single texture in Skyrim on a level Way Beyond what Bethesda might do itself the only downside is that mods like this typically demand a lot more from your PC so make sure you've got the hardware to match if you start installing texture packs and [Music] enems Fallout [Music] expansions some fans truly go above and beyond for the games they love including by taking those worlds and designing from the ground up totally new experiences one of these huge mods you can play right now is follow out the frontier a New Vegas mod that takes the series to Portland though the frontier had a lot of issues at launch to say the least if you know you know elsewhere we have the hotly anticipated Fallout London mod slated to release later in 201 24 and bring Fallout to the Big Smoke finally there's Fallout Miami we have no release date for this but its creators are still hard at work bringing the nuclear Wasteland to the Sunshine [Music] State J Sawyer by Josh Sawyer Fallout New Vegas they call it a pip bll boy I grew up in one of them vaults he made before the war we all got one it's no secret that Fallout New Vegas was rushed the team at obsidian had barely 18 months to put together what would go on to become a cult classic and one of the most acclaimed RPGs of all time but new Vegas's director Josh Sawyer later released his own personal mod of the game that adds a lot of features they didn't originally have time to include oh you going to shoot me damn it dudee a lot of these focus on the survival elements making a tour of the Mojave even more immersive there's also the J Sawyer Ultimate Edition by push the win button which massively improves the original J Sawyer's mods ability the problem is that Sawyer while a very talented game director isn't as good at programming which he readily admits but it's great to see his vision realized I would have been dead 18 times over if it weren't for Eddie let us know in the comments which overhaul mod you can't play the games without thanks for watching if you enjoyed the video there's more where that came [Music] from
