[Music] this is a 1993 dodge d350 but technically it's a w350 now but we'll get into all that now this isn't some ordinary old ram 350 we're talking about here this truck is technically a one-of-one it's extremely rare this truck is one of very few centurion trucks delivered to new dealers to be sold with the name of the city of that dealership in the paint so obviously as you can see on the side of this one this one came to austin connecticut it's austin texas are you sure and this one isn't exactly stock anymore though it does contain the original centurion paint scheme it's now lifted it's riding on massive 22-inch fuel wheels has a full exhaust that will not stop rolling coal [Applause] [Music] and it's got pillar gauges on the inside now of course we can't talk about a vehicle of this stature without talking about what powers it or attempts to move it this is the legendary 6bt it's a 5.9 liter 12 valve straight six cylinder cummins turbo diesel engine it produces 160 horsepower and get this 400 foot pounds of torque it actually says it right in the valve cover that allows this ram to tow 10 200 pounds behind it now these engines are known for easily going over 350 000 miles but with this one you don't really have to worry about that for a long time as it only has eighteen thousand original miles on it man that's a lot of fun well the first thing you notice is it's a bit interesting to drive i'm not going to say it's difficult but it's it's interesting and you definitely have to pay attention and know what you're doing this does have a rather heavy twin-disc self-vent clutch in it which you have to manipulate a little bit when you're letting it out that makes sense probably doesn't but what i'm surprised about is this doesn't behave or handle like a big old dodge ram lifted on 22-inch tires good it is a little bumpy now i've never driven an old dodge ram dually lifted on 22-inch rims before but i had an idea of what that might be like and this is not what i would have expected this is 10 times better the seats are very comfortable we have power options in here power door locks power windows we have air conditioning we have the factory radio in here now another thing i'm surprised about is how much power it has that 6bt moves this mammoth of a machine right along no problems oh but when a squirrel runs in front of you it doesn't stop that good be forewarned [Music] but it's excellent power that's what i love about a turbo diesel engine you can be in any gear give it gas and you'll just chug right along and everywhere you chug along no matter what gear you're in you will roll coal everywhere this thing loves to roll cold and there's the smoke and there's more spoke and [Music] but boy does this thing sound good with that custom exhaust i'll tell you that i haven't turned on the radio once the entire time that i've had this thing just because i love listening to that engine so again with the paint scheme this truck was delivered to a dealership in boston texas hence the austin on the side and then at some point the truck ended up in new smyrna beach florida and that's where it stayed for 15 years after that it went to wyoming and then somehow ended up in new hampshire i don't know if it just wanted to die or something so that's why i came up here with all the salt while it was in wyoming that's when it had the get rag a five-speed manual transmission put in and was converted to four-wheel drive and that's when the truck was also repainted around the original centurion design the very creative centurion design now the centurion package contained things like that very creative paint scheme as well as these real wood panels on the door panels as well as up on the dash that's actually 100 real wood so once again a massive shout out to my friends over at northeast ottoman ports for allowing me to drive this very special 1993 centurion dodge ram w350 or d350 whatever you want to call it i'll include links down in the description below to their website and social media so you can check out the other very wide array of very interesting and unique vehicles that they have for sale but i will see you guys in the next one happy motoring oh yeah there be full [Music] you
