textarea elements DO NOT have a value attribute #shorts

the input element in html is used for single line text input there are several different types that show single line text input controls for example text email password and so on this element does not have a closing tag to set the value of an input element in html we use the value attribute the text area element is used for multi-line text input to set the value of a text area element in html we don't use the value attribute in fact the text area element doesn't even have a value attribute the value shown in a text area element is what is between the opening and closing tags
