Texas Street Racing (Controversy, Money, & FAST cars!)

welcome back we're out here on the texas streets for i don't know the 13th year in a row and things were a lot rougher this year the organization the federales etc we've got a compilation of races to show you right now a lot of different variety a few close races a lot of badass cars let's get to it oh my god all the clearance oh boy it's a pretty big flex rolling around for mclaren's it looks pretty sick it was it was fun watching all of them race at the same time oh god pass night one on the texas streets and we find ourselves in a pack of like five or six mclaren 720s uh four or five turbo v10s here comes another 720. we've got a few vipers that are boosted it's going to be a good night i'm hopping in with the gray mclaren 720 matt's hopping out the orange one yeah and more cars just keep showing up i think we're gonna have some fun tonight let's see how it goes [Applause] so [Music] yeah wow this thing moves nice run and you're under 100 or 100 000 horsepower approximately yeah but you remember like the drivetrain loss oh yeah and then the rolling launch on these i forget how good i have that's a regular that's a regular like you know i didn't use the launch at all it's races come on guys it's uh not the normal thing you see roll up to a roll race situation in texas i appreciate the trucks i appreciate the texas truck thing what's the deal with the truck man what's going on with the truck what's that up ah gen 4 5 3 aluminum block right yep 88 for the next 10 88 vs g6 what kind of power 8 903 really are you out here to have fun with these guys well this is the most unique thing i've seen pop up so far how much power would you say i know three 903 yeah you get down pretty good on the street you know i just figured it out today i was having boost problems i just got a good tune in like i said i wasn't i didn't think that what an s10 with the ls would well the turbo out the hood would roll up to it with this meat but i like it man oh yeah thanks dude good luck with the races appreciate it hell yeah we just rolled into the spot we've been here for about 20 30 minutes something like that i see the truck falling a lot and i'm just like i need to go see that thing turbo out the hood is an s10 this is not something we'd normally see at a roll racing meet so uh pretty unique he said it makes 903 of the tire uh i'd imagine it's gonna be pretty pretty fun a little sketchy we'll see but it should be a fun ride the passenger was kind enough to get out thank you very much to you uh he's gonna ride this evo and i'm gonna take his seat in the truck so this should be pretty pretty interesting i don't know what all we're gonna get into what we're gonna race but it makes 903 it's a little truck it should be pretty fun he's flying [Music] [Applause] one of his cars right here and we're gonna ride in this thing yeah what package is this um kind of funny it's like the mack daddy just like our stock motor on steroids package about how much power who's that good for 1100 1100 okay all right yeah yeah okay it could see up to 1400 on stock motor tonight honestly it's probably around 1300 okay so i i don't i don't like doing that the stock motors are safe but um yeah it worked pushing it a little bit like yeah yeah you know it's just i don't want people to get the wrong idea like it's safe to do this to stock engines all the time we do get a little wild i mean the owner is cool with it on a night like tonight just kind of push the limits a little bit which i think everyone does at this event so just kind of just right it's 2k yeah texas 2k you just let it ride so we don't normally let it ride like that back home cool very cool hopefully you enjoy the ride yeah i'm sure i will i've been in one of your cars so i'm gonna write in that all pretty much stock-looking except for a couple 15-inch conversions i guess that should have been a giveaway [Applause] [Music] i think i got a killer out here man i got a street car yes sir full interior you know this thing's nice seats you know i love it man i like this stuff i got a 256 magnum in this so you know we still got a clutch on the shift we got stock computer stock computers not computer damn bro yeah this guy jordan over at uh rk tunes in new york he's been tuning this car for probably like the last nine to 10. i've had this car for nine to ten years so has it been the same setup yeah no it's what like has it had the same setup has it always been like same engine uh yeah it's always had it's always had uh this this engine in the car not like there's a real variation of this engine this is all variations of the same e36 motor okay it's a 2.8 liter uh this is actually my backup motor because i torched the head on the nitrous last year at the track so this is a stock cylinder head aggressive ass cams piston rod motor nothing special this sounds nasty she does she does work on this on this setting we're on it'll probably make like a problem like around the 1100 desire good god dude [Music] [Music] yes he does dude sudden nasty little car yeah i thought he was gonna pull hard on us but you were like right there the whole time i'm gonna try to break loosen down this on this run bye i think it's quick what's up we meet again again are you guys running still i think so who are you racing um i think i'm going to go out with the gtr and the calvin viper gtr guys like it's like total grudge guy detroit oh yeah well no idea what he actually makes yeah we have to we have to fight him to get our own race who's racing him uh viper and the gtr 2600 on each side 26 or 36. 28 on east side what is it is 60 to 180 now uh it's gonna be 50 to 177 50 to 170. hey the pops 5600 everybody's done no one else wants the bet all right we're locked in 5600 all right let's go you just get this car done how much power is it uh 1950. how much does the gtr power was you know i have no idea hey yeah something around there i would think so what's up who's driving this one uh the red okay what's up what's going on you ready for this yes sir a little bit of money yeah what's the pot up to like five six thousand damn sir i'll be fine how much power is that now or is that a like 15 1600 or more if you're racing that car race on the street you know yeah got some nice tires on here cool good luck man how much power is this um man you know honestly i bought the car like a week and a half ago and uh i've been dialing it in so we'll see stock motor yeah did that look like a good head i could i was just focused on their taillights really could not tell i think it was the viper just didn't build boost uh he just has no sea time man yeah like absolutely not threw down some big money for for some test run they will happily take that money i'm sure yeah for sure [Laughter] all right we're in the lpf mustang yeah as long as it does good it's the lbf mustang i like that strategy it's also a tesla yes it's a house can you change your language real quick preferably not put in chinese no we don't need that [Laughter] [Music] the audi's 1100 ish just like you wow that was like dead even in my eyes yes it was it was a great race i mean holy crap [Music] oh [Music] me well oh yeah dude that was it's five o'clock on the last night at texas streets and that was the first closed race that was a great round was great i mean the whole way that was awesome it was dead even no it was [ __ ] badass well for me this year on the texas streets is pretty big bus luckily lpf came through again four years in a row now i think we've met at the sonico gas station out in the middle of nowhere at four five six in the morning we got some good races and we got one close race literally one of the closest races i've ever been in side by side with the audi quite the adrenaline rush i'll be up for a little while now but for me that's it on the texas streets got a few races in some very unique cars had some had some good times it was a stressful weekend overall
